Joe was rambling yesterday about how there is gonna be a ‘ceasefire ‘ at the weekend …. Which has news to the Hamas gang ( apparently) who claimed to know nothing of it .

Will be interesting to see whether a ceasefire comes by Monday . Somehow – I think not – IDF – keep going – even more effort ….
I note we seem to be hearing less from IDF spokesman – probably because they spank swamp journos and their pro Hamas bias ….

Amy Nickell-Turner one of the resident GBN lefties, and is as thick as a brick, wrote an article in one of my mags about her being “catfished”. For the uninitiated this is a term where in online dating someone isn’t who they seem but carry on deceiving. Our not so bright Amy thought she was communicating with a financier/theatre set designer and expected to be in for the long haul. He turned out to be married with 2 kids. If she’s taken in that easily then it’s more evidence she hasn’t a clue what’s she’s talking about.
I do watch GBN , but selectively. I would rather chew my arm off than watch the one hit wonder Peter Andre as a presenter, or take financial advice from convicted felon Vicki Pryce.

The confected outrage over Lee Anderson’s statement rumbles on, stoked by the likes of the BBC who are delighted by the excuse to divert attention away from the ongoing anarchy on our streets by Islamists, and in particular the intimidation of Parliament last week.
As far as I can see, Anderson has not retracted or apologised – nor should he.
The big lie in the debate on Islam is that there are two clearly defined types of Muslim: on the one hand the Islamists, who plant bombs, cut throats, ram vans, burn churches and wage war on the West in any way they can; and on the other, the so-called ‘vast majority’ of nice, peaceful, muslims who are outraged by the militants.

That is rubbish. It’s a continuum, with the ‘inactive’ Muslims at one end, and the jihadists at the other. Furthermore, all muslims are enjoined by heir scriptures (and often their sheiks and imams) to wage war, to fight, to conquer, to spread Islam by any means, until the worldwide Caliphate is established. The ‘real’ muslims are, in fact, the violent jihadists who are obeying their scriptures and leaders. Polls have shown that many of the silent majority at least tacitly approve of their ‘brave warriors’.

Islam is tribal, and it’s a safe bet that Khun’t does indeed kowtow to his islamist mates. The proof: just look at the mayhem on our streets, which the little weasel does nothing to stop, nor denounce.

For too long he has batted off all legitimate criticism with the usual claims of racism and islamophobia. That must stop.

Yesterday, Zephir posted about the Mayor’s links to radical islam, which I shall repost below.

    Article in The Express: https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1871243/sadiq-khan-extremists-islamist-london-lee-anderson-comment

This may go some way towards explaining why we have islamic extremists allowed to vent their racism every weekend:

“Sadiq Khan’s past links to extremists are the basis of questions about his record as Mayor.

ANALYSIS: In 2016 Sadiq Khan successfully portrayed questions about his links to extremists as “Islamophobia” – but his record as Mayor raises new questions.

In August 2002, Khan was denied access to the US to help defend Zacarias Moussaoui, a member of Al Qaeda who was part of the 9/11 terrorist atrocities.

In 2016, convicted terrorist Babar Ahmad, who supported the Taliban and ISIS, tried to play down his relationship with Sadiq Khan in a BBC interview.

However, Ahmad’s sister Sara had a different recollection: “Sadiq Khan has been a friend of Babar’s since they were boys and a wonderful supporter since his arrest.”

In 2004, Khan and Jeremy Corbyn attended the Palestine: The Suffering Still Goes On conference at the Tooting Islamic Centre.

Sharing the platform was Stephen Sizer, who has promoted conspiracy theories that Israel was responsible for 9/11; Ibrahim Hewitt, chairman of Interpal, designated as “global terrorist organisation” by the US ,who supports Hamas and is also a member of the organisation that invited the “blood libel” cleric Raed Salah to Britain; and Dr Daud Abdullah, who led the Muslim Council of Britain’s boycott of Holocaust Memorial Day and advocated attacks on the Royal Navy if they tried to stop arms for Hamas being smuggled into Gaza.

Then in 2007, Khan attended and spoke at the 10th anniversary celebrations of the Palestinian Return Centre (PRC), alongside Corbyn. PRC is banned in Israel and is described as “Hamas’s organisational branch in Europe” which organises “radical and violent activity” and has branded Israelis “Nazi Jews”.”

Khan has also advocated the introduction of Islamic law into parts of the UK.

In 2004, he wrote: “There are some other uncontroversial areas of Islam law which could easily be applied to the legal system we have in the UK.

In 2007, he opposed the banning of forced marriages, describing the Bill as stereotyping “ghetto” legislation.

There were other allegations including claims of links to the pan-Islamic group Hizb ut Tahrir, which preached an end to democracy and the “illegal” state of Israel, propagated jihad, and wanted to establish a unified “Islamic State””

“There are some 150,000 practising solicitors in the UK. A legitimate question to ask: why did so many extremely violent Sunni jihadists approach his firm? (The context was he became one of three bosses and an equity partner). They had around 50 employees to choose from! Why did he specifically work with these jihadi leaders? How on earth did they know to approach his firm and him?”

We should be grateful that the Sun newspaper has brought the whole sorry issue of Mr Huw Edwards ( BBC ” top talent” ) and his behaviour in paying a young person for a few “snaps”back to our attention.

Many of us have been worried about poor Huw and his mental health struggles, it seems he is yet to improve to a state where he can assist any form of enquiry into what on earth could have happened between these two unhappy people.

If I have any criticism of the Sun’s coverage it is that the emphasis seems to be on the young person….how very strange , isn’t obvious to everyone that the real victim is poor, poor Huw…how that man must have suffered . He is currently on sick leave, on full pay of £430,000 per annum (that’s every year ..not a lifetime amount!) and that was reduced only recently from £550,000 when BBC salaries were made first public.

Well let’s hope we can get to the bottom of this soon.

The epilogue reveals that the story was written in the last holdout of the Western world, Switzerland, but international pressure from the new governments, isolating it as a rogue state for not opening its borders, along with internal pro-migrant elements, force it to capitulate as well. Mere hours from the border opening, the author dedicates the book to his grandchildren, in the hopes they will grow up in a world where they will not be ashamed of him for writing such a book.

Christian Horner, boss of some formula one team or other was accused of coercive control and bullying of a female employee. His name was dragged through the mud by the media and his marriage suffered as a result. The stress he must have gone through is unimaginable, and yet he has been exhonerated.

The question I therefore have to ask is what is going to happen to his accuser who now can be shown to have clearly made at best ill founded allegation and at worst false and malicious ones.

Her name and identity is still a secret and it appears she will suffer no punishment. This is not an acceptable situation where one party is able to make wild allegations and remain untouchable for doing so while the other party risks losing absolutely everything.

It’s a similar situation to the Post Office and it is simply not good enough !

    From the Telegraph –

STARTS BBC journalists will use artificial intelligence (AI) to write headlines as part of wider trials of the new technology at the corporation.

The public service broadcaster said it was exploring generative AI tools aimed at helping reporters work more quickly. These include a “headline helper” which would give staff a range of potential options to choose from.

The software could also allow journalists to summarise articles to link to elsewhere.

It outlined the moves in an AI strategy update, as the broadcaster experiments with how to deploy the nascent technology.

Other potential uses include translation tools that would convert news articles into multiple languages, and text-to-speech technology that would convert sports commentary into text for use in live blogs.

Bosses said the BBC is also testing chatbots to provide tailored and interactive educational tools on its Bitesize service.

The corporation said the vast majority of its AI pilots were for internal use only, adding that the technology would not be used to create content for audiences until more was known about it.

Aside from potential uses for the technology, the BBC is also grappling with the growing threat from AI.

The corporation has blocked companies such as ChatGPT maker OpenAI from trawling its website to train their software amid concerns about widespread copyright breaches.

That mirrored similar moves by publishers including The Guardian, New York Times and CNN.

The New York Times has sued OpenAI and Microsoft over claims of copyright abuses, while the Daily Mail has said it is considering similar action.

Rhodri Talfan Davies, the BBC’s director of nations and head of its AI push, warned in 2023 that so-called scraping of BBC websites to train chatbots was not in the interests of licence fee payers.

Other news publishers are engaged in discussions with tech companies over potential licensing deals that would see AI makers pay for use of their content.

However, the Daily Mail last week branded OpenAI’s licensing terms “inadequate” and said Google had merely offered free use of its products in lieu of payment.

The BBC has set out guiding principles to ensure it uses AI responsibly and to support its public mission, and has now updated its editorial guidance on the use of AI.

It said the rules had been designed to ensure the BBC did not undermine the trust of its audience and to ensure that all uses of AI have active human oversight.ENDS

Now when they get caught they can blame the ‘puter ….

Biden ‘fit for duty’ after medical, says doctor
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-68429773

The BBC prove just how desperate they are about Trump becoming President again with this staggering, monumental lie-by-omission and lie-by-inference article.

First they tell us Joe passed his medical with no issues.

    Then they follow that with:
‘The president’s health was thrust further into the spotlight earlier this month after a special counsel investigating Mr Biden for improperly storing classified documents suggested he was suffering from mental decline due to his age.’

They have linked the two together with the word ‘health’ when in fact two are totally and completely different. His medical was a physical which just checks heart rate, blood pressure and stuff like that. It had nothing at all to do with his mental state and memory.

They have deliberately tried to infer that it means all the ‘health’ concerns about him being a senile idiot who can’t string a sentence together have been disproved by a doctor.

You can be 100% certain that if it were about Trump, they would have pointed out the test does not address his mental state at all and he refuses to take a cognitive test.

Shame on you again BBC. Another misleading article to push your own political agenda.

  50. JohnC says:

Top US court will rule on Trump immunity claims
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-68431830

    Second sentence:
‘The 6-3 conservative majority court decided on Wednesday to hear Mr Trump’s claims that he should be shielded from criminal liability.’

What a shame the blatantly biased Lefty activists at the BBC – who are doing it at all the expense of the license-fee payer – do not see fit to tell us the politics of the people and judges accusing him of all these dozens of ‘crimes’ so quickly in all their other articles.

The whole point of this is that a President must be immune from any prosecution while he is in office. Otherwise it becomes a third-world shithole where the corrupt scumbags pay corrupt lawyers and judges to get rid of them. I’ve seen it in Thailand and I’m stunned to be seeing them to try and do it in the USA.

That’s what impeachment is for. Only the elected lawmakers can do it. And the Left tried. Twice. And the last line of defence for democracy stopped them getting away with it because they could not use their own bent Judges.

Once the Democrats had multiple committees searching for ways to impeach Trump, the free-press should have been outraged and the backlash so great, they would be stopped. But they kept quiet instead of being the essential check-and-balance they are supposed to be.

They should be on trial here, not Trump. They are now utterly politicially corrupt. And I most definitely include the BBC in their number.

      Also in that article:

‘But the appeals court ruled unanimously against the 77-year-old..’

No mention there either of the fact TWO of the three appeals judges were appointed by Biden himself and the third is a Republican woman appointed years ago by George Bush.
