Slightly premature – but budget predictions –

1 it will be very short ( or puffed out with ‘achievements ‘)
2 there will be lies – such as that inflation is beaten
3 there will be lies – such as Hunt is cutting taxes
4 no change in tax thresholds
5 no dumping of the domicile rule
6 more money thrown at the NHS
7 Cameron will have pushed overseas budget up again
8 launch of ‘review ‘ of council funding ( yawn )
9 no change to income tax – no change to national insurance
10 – nonsense about ‘investing for growth ‘
11 no increase in defence spending
12 will pretend to fund ‘the north’ from HS2

    – probably no longer than 25 – 30 minutes …

13 – labour call straight away for general election

The Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant is located in the Al Dhafra of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi on the Arabian Gulf, approximately 53 km west-southwest of the city of Ruwais. The Plant’s four APR1400 design nuclear reactors will supply up to 25% of the UAE’s electricity needs once fully operational.

Construction of the plant commenced in July 2012, following the receipt of the Construction License from the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) and a No Objection Certificate from Abu Dhabi’s environmental regulator, the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD).

The Barakah plant is an important part of the UAE’s efforts to diversify its energy sources, and will provide clean and efficient energy to homes, businesses and government facilities while reducing the nation’s carbon footprint. When fully operational, the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant is expected to prevent up to 22 million tons of carbon emissions every year, equivalent to removing 4.8 million cars from the roads.

None of them had a clue what I was talking about. They said maybe in London but none of them had heard anything and so now I’m wondering if this is a few incidents being blown out of proportion, but I would have thought if there was something more I wouldn’t have got the incredulous “what are you talking about” kind of reaction which I did.

    The verdict
Glasgow as a city has a low life expectancy compared to the UK as a whole, the figure for Glasgow East reflects the situation in the most deprived part of the city.

Life expectancy there (Glasgow) – particularly among men – is lower than not only Palestine, but a host of other countries.

To really draw a more rigorous international comparison, you’d need to compare life expectancy in Glasgow East to life expectancy in the poorest part of another country. But for those on the ground, it’s still a bleak prognosis.

I could talk for hours, and regularly do, about what all this has cost the people of Iraq and the people of the wider region, but I want to concentrate on what it has cost us—and I do not mean financially either.

So there’s not many FACTS here at all. How many of the dead were shot? Has there been any analysis of the bullets in either the dead or the injured to determine whether they are IDF or Hamas terrorists.
This is just ‘he said, he said’. Nothing verified.

Actually the BBC report is not super biased in favour of Hamas
One of the reasons why you know the anti-Israel guys are the baddies is, that they say the BBC report blames Israel
      .. when actually is doesn’t

The BBC report quotes this strange phrase ” bullet injuries”
what is that ..a bullrt falling from the sky can kill you, nearly kill you or just graze your arm.. so that is a very wide category
Scondly the BBC quote the Hamas figures without giving any warbing that they might be fake .

If it was a massacre it was a poor attempt
There were hundreds , thousands on the open street
The IDF could have wiped them out
      but it didn’t

I just spent 20 seconds watching the end of the news on BBC1, and in just 20 seconds there was obvious bias with an agenda.

The female (of course) news person was delighted to announce that some female (of course) singer named Raye (no, me neither) had won some Brit Awards.

The female news person stated that the Brit Awards were for “the best” music of the year. Well actually they’re not. They’re for what some faceless record executives *decide* is the best.

In the past, Brit awards have been handed out to the likes of Adele and Stormzy, so they’re not exactly choosy about what shite they vote for.

In the interests of fairness I went on YouTube and listened to Raye’s song “Escapism” which apparently was voted The best song of the year. And predictably it’s rubbish.

News – Haiti violence: Gangs free 4,000 inmates in mass jailbreak

I wonder if the UK Government supported by the opposition and the libs, also ably supported by the border farce, left wing lawyers/activists, ‘judges’ etc could find a way of bringing those poor desperate men to the UK. Many of these will be engineers, scientists and doctors. If we are lucky to get them here I hope we can get them living as close as possible to our MP’s.

9pm news on GBnews still sounds scripted by the WEF nudge unit
the Trump item ended with a sneers at Trump
“He made a number of false claims at campaign events; like saying Biden was smuggling people across the border”

… Surely Trump was being rhetorical , not saying Biden drives in from Mexico with illegals in the back of his campervan.

“Vacancies in adult social care hit a record 164,000 in 2021/22, prompting the Government to lower the barrier for such staff to be allowed to work in the UK.

The change meant the total number of foreign workers given permission to come to Britain rocketed to a record high last year, figures revealed last week – driven by a 349 per cent rise in care worker visas to more than 89,000. The largest numbers come from India, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.

Alongside the ‘unprecedented’ surge of overseas workers into the sector, the relaxation of rules also saw an ‘explosion’ in shady characters making a fortune, treating migrant care staff as ‘cash cows’ by making them pay often huge fees, the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority said.

Campaigners called for the Home Office to urgently introduce more checks on foreign workers to stop their exploitation and protect those they care for.

    The Mail can also reveal:

Whistleblowers at one firm providing care services for the NHS described seeing applicants arrive with holdalls stuffed with cash to pay for jobs, which were handed over to staff in clandestine meetings.
An agency charging £5,000 to help African and Asian workers get care jobs described how it deceived the Home Office to help obtain visas to travel to the UK.
Some overseas staff are treated like ‘slaves’ in the UK but are too scared to complain for fear of losing their jobs.

It is illegal for British-based companies operating as employment agencies to request, or receive, a fee from workers for the purpose of finding them jobs in the UK, although companies can offer other non-work-finding services and a fee can be charged.

Yet shifty fixers charge overseas staff in return for Home Office-approved Certificates of Sponsorships, which enable them to obtain a Health and Care work visa to secure work for a UK company.”
