    Is Scotland turning … sensible?

Two stories on the BBC today.

Scotland’s only gender identity clinic is to stop prescribing puberty blockers to children. And the Scottish government’s target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 75% by 2030 is being scrapped.

It just shows that even in my country of green weirdo lunatic woke perverted totalitarian fanatical Marxist morons, common sense can still break out.

Keep fighting the good fight, folks.

A munitions manufacturing site is to receive a £32m upgrade as part of a £2.4bn UK-wide contract to supply the armed forces.

BAE Systems at Glascoed, Monmouthshire, said the money would help secure 555 jobs over 15 years at the site.

In contrast, cosmologists believe the Big Bang flung energy in all directions at the speed of light (300,000,000 meters per second, a million times faster than the H-bomb) and estimate that the temperature of the entire universe was 1000 trillion degrees Celsius at just a tiny fraction of a second after the explosion.

Please excuse me if I’m a little sceptical of this, but do these particular cosmologists explain exactly why this immense explosion occurred, how an unimaginable amount of matter could suddenly appear out of nothing and whether such an event is ever likely to occur again. I should hate to be standing in the way as half a universe goes shooting by.

The early chapters of Genesis tell us the universe was created over the space of six days by a loving God. The remainder of the Bible explains what else we need to know to supplement this information. The alternative narrative, such as it is, renders the beginning to be a curious accident no less capable of defying the Laws of Thermodynamics.

Square-Eyed, I have some Christian friends who used to rubbish the ‘Big Bang’ Theory. I used to mischeviously enjoy pointing out to them that in the Gospels, when God from Heaven spoke in validation of his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Twelve seemed to hear precisely what God in heaven was saying but the crowd only heard thunder. (John 12v29)

In Genesis we read that God brought the universe into being by speaking.

That said I am not sure that I believe in the ‘Big Bang’ theory. I have a notion, lurking at the back of my mind, that one of the disputers & opponents of the ‘BB’t, Sir Fred Hoyle, became a Christian in later life.

Are these the same cosmologists who discovered that when they observed galaxies they couldn’t account for ninety percent of the matter that should have been there per Einstein’s theory of General Relativity? Upon making these observations what would a real scientist do? How about throwing out the theory and starting from scratch? But no that can’t be allowed as Einstein is infallible, a bit like the Pope. So rather than revisiting Einstein’s works of fantasy what did they do? Invented Dark Matter and Dark Energy which of course exist it’s just …… both are undetectable. Yes, that’s right. We can’t see it or detect it but believe us it’s there because we have big brains and know more about advanced mathematics than you poor sap so keep a lid on it and stop pointing out the bloody obvious flaws in our theories. The Big Bang of course is another fantasy that requires constant new inventions like cosmic inflation etc. to keep the circus going. These physicists are worse than the climate change clowns.

Tory Sodomite MP Mark Menzies has had the whip withdrawn (Ooooo Errr Madam) over some quite serious allegations of wrong doing but nothing like as serious as tax evasion.

You can now expect all of the Left wing media including the BBC to concentrate fully on the Tory, notwithstanding the fact he’s one of the favourite minorities, he is as odious to them as Douglas Murray – a traitor who didn’t follow the Socialist Diktat.

All of Anges problems will now leave the spotlight because of one man who couldn’t control his dick and his sexual urges. When will the Tories learn that these people are always prone to getting up to things like this, and as far as memory serves he’s not the first, and won’t be the last.

On the case of Fick Ange, she has been reported to the Police for infringement of her election statement in which she has to declare her address.

We don’t know which address she did use but if it was her husbands then it’s evidence the other home was not a primary residence and was liable for CGT. If she declared the other home as her address but wasn’t living there it’s also an offence.

The BBC said at the time that “remarks and reactions… caused a significant risk the audience could believe opinions were being expressed on the Conservative leadership contest.” Croxall’s glee wasn’t long for this world, though…

When the cost-cutting BBC had 18 presenters apply for five roles in a “merger”, Croxall lost out. She was taken off air for nearly a year. Now she’s suing the corporation for discrimination. The case is listed for a central London employment tribunal on the 1st of May, where Croxall is suing for age discrimination, sex discrimination, and equal pay. Litigation solves everything…”

The BBC is reporting on the SNP’s scrapping of climate targets but it is all very anodyne and accepting and matter of fact…very unlike the BBC’s hysteria when Sunak announced a slow down in green targets….then we had Justin Rowlatt being repeatedly wheeled on to warn us that the planet was going to burn for sure and it’s basically the end of the world as we know it.

Can’t say I’ve heard a peep from Rowlatt this morning…what I did hear was a BBC journo telling us that ‘Politicians have come to realise that the rhetoric cannot match the reality’…as if the BBC itself ever pushed any sort of reality when it came to climate change….more pushing an ever more alarmist message demanding faster and harsher action…much like covid.

Bet there are some anguished meetings at the BBC discussing how they can pressure governments to once again ramp up the fear and alarm with action to match.

I always wondered who screwed up the World Service – the DT article below -explains …

The head of the BBC World Service has quit as she cited “deep concerns” about the broadcaster’s future amid sweeping cuts.

Liliane Landor, senior controller of BBC News International Services and BBC World Service director, said she will step down in July after three years in the role.

In a note to staff, Ms Landor said she was “deeply concerned about the operational capability of the World Service if additional cuts continue to weaken it further”.

The BBC announced major cuts to the World Service in 2022 that has led to hundreds of job losses and the closure of foreign language radio services including BBC Arabic and BBC Persian.

Ms Landor warned of “immense” pressures facing the World Service and the BBC more broadly.

She wrote: “The organisation is operating in a tight and ever restrictive financial environment and over the past two years we have faced tough choices resulting in cuts which have incrementally impacted our global reach and the breadth of our services.”

While the executive praised journalists for adapting to the cutbacks, she warned that the World Service’s output in English and 42 languages needed to be protected.

Ms Landor added: “It must be able to retain its distinctive universal voice regardless of how deeply it integrates into the wider BBC News framework.

“And it needs to continue to be a genuine international public service capable of reaching people and parts of the world in need of trusted news and information.”

Ms Landor was previously head of foreign news at Channel 4, but has spent the majority of her career at the BBC after beginning at the French Service.

Deborah Turness, chief executive of BBC News, said: “In a polarised world where truth is under attack, Liliane has led our BBC World Service teams with real courage.

“She has been a global ambassador for our powerful and important journalism, and has worked with great skill to modernise World Service output to reach digital audiences. Liliane is a person of great integrity and I will miss her wisdom very much.”
The comments have sparked fears of further cuts, with one BBC manager describing the situation as “really grim”.

A BBC spokesman said there were no specific plans for further cuts but said cost savings were an “ongoing situation” at the public service broadcaster.

The BBC has already announced cuts to services including Newsnight as part of a wider effort to plug a £500m black hole in its finances following a two-year freeze to the licence fee.

Director general Tim Davie last month said the corporation was now trying to find a further £200m in savings as he announced plans to overhaul its digital services.

The BBC is also racing to prepare for a future without the licence fee after the Government launched a review into its future funding model.ENDS

Last time I heard it it sounded like radio bongo bongo land …

The BBC would call it Diversity, it ranks alongside its long history of BBC perversity, sexual perversion and mis-use of UK public money. And as Lord Frost points out they all vote Labour. The useful idiots.

    Who would have thought it?

Bet she is spitting feathers after all of her totally shite virtue signalling crap.

Possibly they may have assumed more or less that they were untouchable big-wigs in a Rob Roy sort of way?

I cannot describe my satisfaction at this turn of events.

Hopefully the law will go after all the other twats riding on the lefty untouchable bandwagon.

She sums the Left up perfectly for me digg. Virtue signal every way they can in public and are nasty, dirty scumbags in private.

It’s always enlightening to see them relaxed and behaving naturally. Raynar demonstrated that perfectly when she thought she was among friends and ranted that calling Tories ‘scum’ wasn’t nearly close enough to describe how she felt about them.

And the BBC ignored it. A possible deputy PM. Because they feel exactly the same.

Wow, just Wow, probably going to be main news stories tommorow and worth and early read.

Ipsos polling puts the Tories on just 19% and Reform on 13% in Third place. It gets worse for the Tories though:

“Net satisfaction with Sunak now at joint worst levels in history of Ipsos – going back to 1978 – equivalent to John Major and Jeremy Corbyn’s worst in 1994 and 2019.”

“Despite leading the Conservatives by 25 points overall – Keir Starmer also registers his lowest net satisfaction score with the public as Labour leader.”

Please dear readers, do read this page so you know the truth before it appears in the press tomorrow.

    Trumps trial main page headline:
‘All you need to know about the trial’
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-68309680

That should be ‘All we want you to know about the trial’ there ‘Sam Cabral’ of the BBC.

A lengthy article and not a single reference to the 3 key issues here – all relating to the fact that this is pure election interference by the Democrats:

    1) This is about something from 2016 yet they are forcing Trump to attend this trial every day during an election race.

    2) The democrat Judge is widely accused of extreme bias against Trump. His behaviour and comments make his contempt for Trump clear.

    3) Joe Biden said publicly that they would use every legal means possible to stop Trump running for President again. And look what has happened.

BBC : you are worthless, dishonest partisan left-wing activists. You are doing your best to ensure Trump does not get a fair trial.

Why should UK license-fee payers be forced to fund these activists who are regularly on the wrong side of public opinion these days ?.

Never underestimate the power of group-think, especially among the weak.

Just look at Islam. A ridiculous, stone-age religion followed so faithfully by millions upon millions, they are prepared to murder anyone who offends it and then believe they did the right thing.

The illegal immigrant issue, small boats etc could be solved by a simple EU directive that made it mandatory that all illegal immigrants are sent back to the sending country, That way any immigrant into the UK would be sent back to France and France could send them back to the Country they entered France from etc. I really don’t see a problem with this unless the French don’t want to live up to it for their own nasty anti UK reasons.

    The racist……

‘The son of an elderly man who was doused in petrol and set alight near a mosque has questioned whether his attacker should have even been in the UK.

Mohammed Abbkr, originally from Sudan and has schizophrenia, was given a hospital order after targeting Hashi Odowa, 82, and Mohammed Rayaz, 72, during attacks in London and Birmingham last year.

Mohammed Ayaz, the son of Mr Rayaz, said he wanted to know if adequate checks were done before Abbkr, 29, was granted leave to remain in the country. ‘

Just how much crime have we imported to Britain thanks to our open borders and those who campaign to keep them open?

Streets of London are unsafe for Jews because of the hate marches…even the police admit this now……

Astounding but not surprising that the BBC doesn’t report this…had it been a Muslim and a Jewish march though?

I never liked the look of Peter Murrell. He always reminded me of Dunblane massacre killer Thomas Hamilton.

One wonders how big an effect his re-arrest will have on SNP support. Everybody expects them to lose votes of course. But if things get even worse for him, I can foresee a total wipeout for the Gnatzis. And this could mean the end of the independence movement for a century, maybe for ever. If they are concerned about that prospect, I suspect he and his fiend-like queen may be planning a divorce as a damage-limitation tactic.

Wait a minute! That can’t be right. How can that be possible? David Cameron has just been to Israel telling them not to upset Iran.
Surely they would listen to a man of Cameron’s standing? It’s not as if he is just a prize plonker or anything!

I expect Israels opinion of Cameron is roughly the same as the silent majority in the UK.

A rich, upper-class spoilt brat Etonian who gets his jobs because of others like him – who got theirs the same way.

        Sunak for example.

It feels a bit strange watching the West slowly commit suicide like it is doing : it’s like Autin Powers where the man gets run down by the steamroller. Plenty of time to avoid it but no will to change what he is doing.

    Comment:

“The Met have become selective and partial when considering people’s human rights and freedoms. I will happily contribute to this man’s legal fees if he decides to sue. ”

In this case, so will I, enough is enough.

    Further comments:

“Free speech is something that we in Britain are really proud of and I have always supported. What is happening in London now every weekend is a disgrace and the streets are being taken over by thousands of demonstrators who are not interested in the rights of others and are openly breaking numerous laws. The Metropolitan Police Commissioner should ban any future marches as it is perfectly obvious that the Police are incapable of adequately upholding the law as they are vastly outnumbered and unable to cope. This is no longer a free speech issue it is mob rule ”

“So basically, the cop is saying the protest is a danger to the public. Why is it allowed if there are dangers to innocent people?”

“There was a time when marches had to have a licence and risk-assessment – all costing money in legal fees. Some long-standing traditional village gatherings and marches have had to be cancelled due to these expenses and the police did not allow the gatherings to continue – some of these occasions going back 100s of years. Yet the police waiver these legal conditions to allow terrorist marches to go ahead without these legal matters in place. Two-faced British police.”
