BBC to launch new TV channel!

The BBC will shortly be announcing the launch of ‘BBC Taylor Swift’, a new TV channel dedicated solely to promoting and advertising the records of the American songstress of the same name (no, me neither), and aimed at the elusive youf market. A BBC spokesman (personal pronouns unavailable) stated:
“We already cover Ms Swift extensively. Indeed, we have featured her on the front page of the BBC news website for four consecutive days this week, so this is a natural progression. Anyone who thinks this is because she is a CIA/Deep State asset is a far right conspiracy theory nutjob, waycist and Brexit voter”.

World at one – BBC tries to hold the ring over PS377NW and his observations about Jews- the issue has truly – thankfully blown up
Will the PS be sacked ? No will the Assistant Commissioner who gave a dumb retracted ‘apology ‘ resign ? No – will the commissioner resign ? No ….

I hope this event stays in the mind – but it won’t – that Hamas March should be banned …

SUNDAY Watch #1 – don’t mention the kippah and don’t mention the prayer shawl

Unusually I listened to the Sunday Programme on Radio 4 all the way through. I was listening with a purpose to see if ‘an openly Jewish man’ was mentioned at all. No. Not at all. Nix. Nada. Nuffink. On BBC Radio Flaw. A bit of anti-Semitic bias on the part of the BBC?

Well there’s always a silver lining to ever cloud they say as evil corrupt Blackrock boss Larry Fink has had to up his security in the face of what the media are calling an anti woke backlash.

Fink is the man behind ESG scores and Teslas Elon Musk has made several disparaging remarks about it after oil companies and tobacco firms finished much higher than his electric car company did.

ESG scores determine the ‘investability’ of a company, so if you don’t play Finks bent little game your firm might be deprived of investment or find it difficult to get hold of a bank loan.

And don’t think this is just America, ESG affects UK companies too and is one of the reasons they have become so ‘woke’ in recent years.

But perhaps it’s all changing and we should welcome that.

Charles Moore writes in ‘The Spectator ‘magazine this week:

“I do not know Chris Packham, the BBC nature broadcaster, personally, but he wrote me a letter last month, enclosing a book called Manifesto, The Battle for Green Britain by Dale Vince which, he tells me, ‘has something very important to say at this most important time’.

In his letter, Chris says that ‘irrespective of any party politics’, ‘The coming election will be the most important of our lifetimes’ because we are ‘halfway through the last decade’ left to avoid ‘the worst of climate breakdown’. So ‘we must help young voters navigate the new voting rules’ . Politics has ‘become the final frontier for a real greener Britain’. What Chris does not mention is that party politics is very important in this most important book. Dale Vince (‘a mate of mine’, Chris explains) has been a multi-millionaire donor to the Labour party for more than ten years and was also, until he buckled under the criticism, a big donor to Just Stop Oil.

As Dale himself puts it, ‘I pivoted from Just Stop Oil to Just Stop the Tories in late summer 2023,’ a pivot not unrelated to the coming election. Labour, he says, ‘will be the greenest [government] we have ever had and potentially the world has ever seen’. If it gets in, we shall have online voting and proportional representation which, he implies, will get rid of the Tories for ever!

At present, Chris Packham is also pursuing his own court case against the Tory government, seeking judicial review ofi ts changed timetable for phasing out petrol and diesel cars. To see the oddity of this, imagine, say, Mishal Husain being allowed by the BBC to help take the government to the International Court of Justice for selling arms to Israel. By promoting his mate Dale’s book, Chris is specifically working against the Conservative party and in favour of Labour. As its title implies, the purpose of Manifesto is a Labour victory asap. Packham’s fame rests almost entirely on presenting nature programmes for the BBC. And yet, because he is technically freelance, he is being excused the full rigour (ha, ha) of its impartiality rules.

I would like Tim Davie, the BBC’s director-general, to explain to us all over again how its impartiality works. “

(This appeared in this weeks The SPECTATOR magazine.)

So How do the BBC justify this piece of public ‘promotion’ to the TV license fee tax payer? Well, they ignore it. Standard practice for the BBC to deny anything happened at all. Freelance – he claims… Yet he has only ever worked for the BBC!

As ever, like the ‘fab’ Gary Lineker, the mysteries of BBC impartiality are a of a technical difficulty – only. Once Labour get elected!!! – all such impartiality will simply disappear… (they hope). The world will be at peace, UK Electricity will be free, England’s Water will be clean and plentiful and (organic food ), will be plentiful and cheap at Waitrose. No meat. Just Insects imported from Peru. You will be taxed on what you ‘eat’, same as your ‘Car’ – ‘pay-per-mile’ plan (courtesy of Sadiq Khan and Co. soon)

    If you doubt this, just ask Chris Packham. A fellow traveller of the Green eco-nutters already ruining the UK economy. He (Dale Vince) just happens to be a multi-millionaire and suddenly finds himself a bit ‘redundant’. As of last year;
    https://www.current-news.co.uk/dale-vince-steps-down-from-ecotricity-as-he-looks-for-new-owner/

Hence his new book plug by the BBC who are all fellow ”eco-warriors’. Chris ‘Backham and Packam’. Sponsored totally by the BBC open to fellow green travellers on the well travelled road to the second-coming of the Labour Party. I can hardly wait. I still have not recovered from ‘Saint’ Tony Blair’s last time in office as PM. The BBC were all over that one. History repeats, sadly. Labour in again will give the BBC a special license of immunity.

I too would like Tim Davie, the BBC’s director-general, to explain to us all over again how this famous BBC impartiality works.

      A FUNERAL FOR NATURE
Yesterday, we mourned the loss of nature in a dramatic Funeral for Nature procession with Chris Packham in Bath.

We drummed a solemn beat and declared ‘Code Red for Nature’: with 43% of bird species declining
and 97% of wildflower meadows lost since WWII.

The BBC once again both sidesing climate science by putting up unqualified bakery owner Luke Johnson to argue the “other side”.

Some might wonder when Saint Chris became an expert in the field. Perhaps on one of his tours globally with suckers?

Seems The BBC was more just stirring things up.

Some feel this might not be kosher.

Packham sneers at Johnson for not following “science”, having just blamed the recent Dubai downpour on global warming. Yet as the New York Times reported:
“In their latest assessment of climate research, scientists convened by the United Nations found there wasn’t enough data to have firm conclusions about rainfall trends in the Arabian Peninsula and how climate change was affecting them.”
Maybe he should follow the science too.
Some climate change sceptics have suggested cloud seeding was the cause in Dubai. But the scientific evidence for that is also hard to come by.

Chris Packham says at the end of this clip that the Daily Sceptic is put together by people with close connections to the oil industry. A flat out lie. None of the editors have any such connections. You’d think someone so quick to sue others for libel would be more cautious.

Nice one Charlie! Dame Vince also popped up a few times on TalkRadio on behalf of his unpaid minions ‘just Stop Oil’. He tried to distance himself at the same time as paying them AND his company claimed all his profits were from ‘green’ energy. Its just a front, its all from the National grid imports from France mostly.

Liberal Democrat MP Layla Moran tells #BBCLauraK her relatives managed to make it out of Gaza – but that one family member died due to the lack of a functioning healthcare system in the midst of the Israel-Hamas war

Moron is a limited issue brain donor gob MP for a minority party who is rarely off The BBC, so who this ‘we’ is falls down to most of those around that table.

Unusually strong criticism from UK govt about latest Israeli airstrike in Gaza.

3 comments since lunch. Also capturing the public mood.

Is possible Lord (Tariq)Ahmad of Wimbledon is at the Baroness Warsi end of ‘government’?

Also was our gallant ‘reporter’ not one of those who might have issues?: “Thanks to all those pointing out I misspoke this evening says Israel is sworn to Iran’s destruction.”

An MSM rammed with incompetents and Islamaphilic ideologues as much as both sides of the House hardly reassures.
