They’re canny lads indeed, no-one else could have got Gaza pulverised so fast.
    BBC staff make me puke.

When is taking hostages and subjecting them to horrific torture for months on end ok… when you’re Hamas and the hostages are Jewish, of course!

The BBC have lost all moral compass*, and they’re not alone in that.

An Islamic tartan is clearly daft. It chips away at the idea that tartan is a symbol of Scotland. But it has to be said that this is just the latest daftness in a long history of daftness. Because the whole tartan industry has been bogus from the start.

Before the collapse of clan society in the aftermath of the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion, tartans were peculiar to regions of the Highlands, not to individual clans. It was not until the early 19th century that particular patterned cloth designs began to be falsely and cynically promoted as unique tartans belonging to individual clans. Tartan producers Wilsons of Bannockburn were mainly responsible for the invention of this myth which enabled the establishment of a lucrative industry.

That was bad enough but today tartans are no longer just associated with Highland clans. All Scottish surnames now have one. All sorts of other people, regions, companies, organizations, and non-Scottish entities also have their own tartan. New tartans are continually being designed. There was once a sort of rule that you were only “entitled” to wear the tartan of your clan, but since the whole business is fundamentally fraudulent anyway, you can wear any tartan you blooming well like.

Not there yet but it’s inevitable if the tide does not turn. I fear it is already too late to be able to stop it. Eventually they will turn the country into a stone-age, racist shithole like everywhere else they are in charge.
I expect an EU country will fall first. Maybe that will wake up the leftists idiots here to what the cost has been to use these extremely unlikely bedfellows – who share NONE of the socialists ideology – as allies against the Right.

I have it on very good authority that behind the scenes, work is taking place to try and head off the threat posed by Mr Galloway’s Workers Party of Britain. The concern is that Mr Galloway will fragment and reduce the Labour vote so badly that, unlikely as it might seem, the Tories will manage to get re-elected. The proposal is for something called the Labour Islamist Alliance of Radicals and Socialists, or LIARS. There are some sticking points and differences, for instance, Sur-kurr is apparently insisting on a commitment to welcome Men With Cervixes ™, whilst the Islamists are insisting on the death penalty for blasphemy.

      You heard it here first.

Bowen: Tough choices for Netanyahu after Hamas upends expectations
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-68967000

Another whopping lie by omission from Bowen. And as always in favour of the terrorists:

He describes the offer as ‘a ceasefire proposal that the Americans called “exceptionally generous”.’. But I see elsewhere that it referred to ‘Antony Blinken has called on Hamas to consider Israel’s latest ceasefire proposal, which he described as “exceptionally generous.”‘.
He then writes ‘Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s first public response was to say that Hamas was “far from meeting Israel’s demands”.’. So it’s clearly NOT the one Israel proposed. You are lying Bowen.

    Then he tell us:
‘The first phase would include the release of the female Israeli soldiers being held hostage, each in exchange for 50 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, including some who are serving life sentences.’
The whopping omission here is why there is no number of how many females will be released. It’s because Hamas won’t say how many are still alive. Because many have been abused so severely and are dead or cannot be released, or sent of into forced Islamic marriages never to be seen again.

    And then we get:
‘The Americans also want a deal. President Joe Biden’s support for Israel, even as its army killed huge numbers of Palestinian civilians, is costing him political support in an election year.’

The bit about the killing of civilians has no place in that sentence. Bowen has shoehorned it in like the spiteful schoolboy he is.

Shame on you Bowen. You are pathetic excuse for a ‘journalist’. The BBC should get rid of you : you are an embarassment to all things civilised.

Ukrainian Olympian dies on front line
    https://www.bbc.com/sport/weightlifting/articles/cjk4pmv4y54o

‘Weightlifter Oleksandr Pielieshenko, who represented Ukraine at the Rio 2016 Olympics, has died during the conflict with Russia.’

‘He was ranked fourth at the Rio Games in the 85kg category and won gold at the European championships in 2016 and 2017.’

A lovely write-up to a true hero. An example for all.

Oh: ‘Pielieshenko was banned after a second doping violation in 2018.’

So he was caught twice for cheating with drugs.

Having read that, I always find it interesting to see how the ‘journalists’ word their reports to hide it. Just imagine how the BBC would have written this is they wanted to present him as a bad man. The headline would have been ‘Disgraced Ukranian weightlifter …’

It sums up Ukraine in a way for me. Tough, brave and not to be trusted.

Trump trial: Judge threatens ex-president with jail if he keeps breaking gag order
    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-68945269

And yet again the BBC hide behind statements from the Judge to avoid the real issue going on here. The political persecution by the Left of their opposition.

‘If Mr Trump spent time in jail, it would be a historic first for a former US president.’

How many other times have you used ‘historic firsts’ and ‘unprecedented’ to describe all of the different criminal proceedings by Democrat politicians and Judges against Trump BBC ?.

Once should have been enough to start doing your job and questioning what is going on – but doing it multiple times and never taking the topic any further makes you 100% part of this most serious attack on Democracy we have seen since Hitler in WW2.

The Left are so consumed by their hate for Trump, they don’t care about the divisions in society they are creating or the legal precedents which are going to cause big problems for years to come.

Because as we all know, they are driven by marxist ideology and complete intolerance of those who do not agree with them. And that is all they care about.

Would you trust anyone at Cranebridge University?

So outside King’s College there are supposedly many students camping out in tents as a protest at what is happening in Gaza. Really?

First thing is that this is a college that has no idea of the difference between men and women. If you use the conveniences there one door says: cubicles and urinals, one says cubicles. They used to say men and women. Now they can’t tell the difference.

Second thing this is a University that is infested with marxist traitors. Remember: Philby, Burgess, Maclean etc?

Third it is of interest that at least 15 of the tents are brand new and identical. This is an organised event from outside. How else would it coincide with something at Oxford? These people are in lockstep with outside organisations.

Why are they all wearing masks? Are they not all from the University?

Wot about all the murdered Ukranians – some 500,000 of them. Don’t they count?

Finally would you trust anyone from Cranebridge University when they can’t even tell the truth about the plandemic.

It would be the easiest thing in the world for the BBC to confirm that Hamas are fighting from hospitals, refugee camps and schools. All their reporters on the ground are Muslim locals who can move freely among the people and know full well what is going on.

The fact they don’t tells me everything I need to know. They only EVER report it as something Israel said in quotes to leave an element of doubt. That makes the BBC 100% supporters of Hamas in my book.

What stands out even more is that nobody has questioned them about it. That information is critical to decide where th eblame for all the deaths belongs. It demonstrates just how truly f*cked our society has become.

I wonder how many black people got fired for making jokes about white people. Or are we to believe they don’t ?. My rough estimate is zero. That’s the kind of racism I’m talking about.

Let’s kick off with a venerable old rock lyric

    I see a red door
And I want it painted black
    No colours anymore
I want them to turn black

Mr AsI paints it black from Doctor Who to Buxton – and our BBC at last goes where the Guardianistas have already dared to tred – in this packed news-tastic edition

The older and the more weary the cliché – the more they think we like it.

Fresh off the back of the local election results we had Sir Keir’s over-rehearsed ‘zombie government‘ a rather tasteless, now made bland by repetition sound-bite, an attempted rejuvenation of that old ‘lame duck‘ line: ‘Zombie government is root of problem’ says Labour leader as he ponders cost of living crisis (Sky News, August 2022); Tragically, Britain is now the victim of a zombie government… (Keir Starmer, Guardian, 2 days ago)

He may be as dull as ditchwater and just as shallow but one thing we do know about our Sir Keir and his missus is that they enjoy nothing better as a pastime than a good old fashioned family covid test: The Labour leader’s wife, Victoria, works for an NHS hospital that allows any member of staff or relative to get a COVID-19 test done if they show symptoms… Mr Starmer went into self-isolation in September after one of his children showed symptoms. The child’s test came back negative (Sky News, December 2020); Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer self-isolates for third time… Sir Keir confirmed on Twitter that he had no symptoms (BBC, January 2021)

Thinking of the Starmer covid testing regime (I’ll bet they blue-tacked a planner to the fridge) I’m put in mind of that scene in Fawlty Towers where a paranoid Basil is convinced a visting married couple of psyciatrists are out to get him – and that they are obsessed with sex. “How often do you manage it?” they ask, refering to country walks.

Now today Starmer’s work wife weighs in with a whopper of a latterly modish cliché – one for the ladies, methinks: Tories ‘gaslighting’ public on economy, says Reeves (Guardian)

Quite appropriate really, given that Labour’s economic policy proposals are gaslighting the public – in fact they present nothing tangible in terms of policy difference to that of the Tories – other than Jeremy Hunt don’t wear a skirt (not in public anyway, but you never know with these peculiar gay Grindr-subscribing Tories)

Keir Starmer rules out income tax cuts under Labour until the economy is growing (i News, January 2024); The economic change we need won’t come from Labour. Both parties are wedded to the failed orthodoxies that are holding Britain back… it’s clear that Labour is not planning to offer an alternative to the existing Conservative economic programme… Rishi Sunak promised to ‘place economic stability and confidence at the heart of this government’s agenda’. And in her conference speech last week, Reeves echoed Sunak’s pledge, stating that ‘Labour will restore our economic stability’. But our flatlining economy needs the opposite of stability. It needs radical transformation (Phil Mullan, Spiked, October 2023)

Credit where credit is due – even hereabouts to our BBC – for once going against the prevailing nod and a wink, nudge and a prod, regime approved policy grain…

Euphenasia is of course the policy that dare not speak its name

Emotional assisted dying debate gives Dame Esther hope ‘common sense could prevail’ There was standing room only as MPs packed Westminster Hall for the debate, which was triggered by a Daily Express petition. (Daily Express); Dame Esther says ‘I’m fighting for my family and others’ as MPs debate assisted dying (Daily Express)

    Assisted Dying… because Euphenasia sounds a bit too… holocausty…?

Legalise it, We’ll advertise it – I speak of course of the junior poundshop Guardian that is the ‘i’ newspaper: Into the weeds – how Malta made cannabis culture work – but we digress

The BBC’s sister publication has signalled mild disquiet: I’m glad the debate on assisted dying is forging ahead. But few understand why it frightens so many… Everyone deserves the right to a good death. Yet fears disabled people have about being coerced into euthanasia are justified… The actor Liz Carr joins a protest outside parliament (Frances Ryan, Guardian, this article is more than 2 months old)

It’s one small step for the overtly radicalised left-leaning Gruan, it’s one giant leap for the regime compliant BBC…

Assisted dying debate terrifying for disabled people, says actress Liz Carr (BBC)

Speaking of the Guardian, it is an organ that will feign an interest in for instance – sport – just so long there’s a non-straight male, non-white English sex or race indentity to celebrate.

In similar opportunist fashion the Gruan today suddenly becomes – what I believe is termed a ‘Whovian’

‘More fun than its been for years’ *** for the new Doctor Who

Because the very point of the latest iteration of our BBC’s venerable leading TV sci-fi franchise for kids is of course to have conservatives hiding behind the sofa for fear of a monsterous twerking gay race-baiting black Doctor

Speaking of endless reincarnations and reinterpretations of the same tired clichéd basic idea: Trump faces jail threat (FT)

Meanwhile the FT does a stonker of an optimistic puff piece in hopeful support of the ailing Joe Biden regime

US boom and lower inflation set to double trade growth… World poised for 2.3% bump in 2024… OECD, IMF and WTO see rebound

The globalist FT does rather enjoy a bit of unaccountable one world government alphabetty spaghetti

But let’s not forget the self-inflicted nature of many of our present economic woes: Yet despite the green shoots, global trade growth is not expected to return to pre-pandemic levels this year (FT) – oh dear – an emergency Mr AsI edit required there: despite the green shoots, global trade growth is not expected to return to pre-pandemic pre-Lockdown (which was a policy choice) levels this year

And don’t even get me started on ill-judged Net Zero energy policies and bomeranging back on us anti-Russia sanctions

I’m reminded of Brendan O’Neill’s recent appeal to the public not to forget the utter madness of Lockdown. The sheer blind idiocy of our leaders and their unthinking clockwork minions. Our Brendon relates how in conversation with a friend he had refered back to how he recalled the British police had tipped gallons of black dye material into a lake in an attempt to discourage people from visiting some rural beauty spot. “That didn’t really happen, you’re exaggerating. Fake News!” was the reply. O’Neill – for a moment – doubted his own recollection.

Police have dyed the normally bright blue water of a beauty spot in Buxton black, in a bid to deter people from gathering there. Flouting government instructions to stay at home in a bid to slow down coronavirus, groups were reportedly meeting up at the disused quarry at Harpur Hill, near Buxton (Sky News, March 2020)

Just checked the IMDB reviews for the new Dr Who. Here are the latest scores (out of 10):

      2,2,7,1,3,1,4,2,1,4,5,3,1,4,6,1,1,2

These are the oldest review scores (ie the first reviews):

      10,7,8,8,9,10,3,10,9,10

Clearly fake reviews by the woke mob and most likely people who work on the show. Of course that’s allowed in BBC land because they are all lying hypocrites. If the first reviews were all 1/10, they would run an article about it being review-bombed by the racist right.

IMDB even do a chart of the most ‘bombed’ shows and describe it as :
‘becoming plagued with users that will denounce any attempt that has representation of minorities and LGBTQ+ content, calling any sign of that parts of an “agenda,” “woke mind virus,” “political statement,” and/or “radical” leftist-driven takeover of people’s minds.’
‘The majority of these claims have been made by conservative christian republicans’

      The worst shows are:
      She-hulk – Hulk but with a woman
Ms Marvel – Captain marvel with a woman
Captain Marvel – Captain Marvel again with a woman.

And the list goes on. It seems that the possibility that these shows are in fact complete garbage is not even an option.

As I keep saying, the Left are destroying Western civilisation as they keep ramming their agenda down everybodies throats.

For anyone who is interested in a little BBC history and government interference in the political output of the corporation here is a short dissertation about the connection between the BBC and a government deparment most people will never have even heard of, the IRD (information research department) whose role it was to counter Soviet propaganda.

It was formed post war in 1948 by Clement Atlee and existed until it was dissolved in 1978.
There was a close relationship with the corporation during this period, and as most here would imagine there were Soviet sympathisers within the BBC although there were equally those on the Left who saw the horrors and were unsympathetic as well.

For those who would like a read into some BBC little known history here is the paper:

Yes I think it was Blair that disbanded MI5 from what was room ‘101’ when he got elected during his first term on office. From then on-wards the BBC was well and truly enmeshed in overt ‘culture wars’, and it did not have to hide it anymore, it was ‘mainstream’. Gordon Brown then had made (so called) Sock Puppets players at all layers in government (All QUANGOs) that could NOT be voted out of office Arts Council /National Trust/ NHS etc.. Public Charities were also changed to be support Left wing ideology (and funds from Labour run Councils and accept government funding. That we call Diversity, inclusion and all the ‘isms’ we now call ‘woke’.

All this was allowed to continue under the Conservatives. As the same time the Liberals had infiltrated the Conservatives and Cameron himself professed to follow Tony Blairs run in office.

63 percent of Muslims do not work, receive state support + free housing
State-supported Muslim families with an average of 6 to 8 children receive free accommodation

Half of these are just ceremonial roles, with no real power attached to them. The Mayor of the big cities is far removed from the mayor of a small town like Blackburn.

Postal voting is the main problem. Many Muslims are not political at all, so they hand their postal ballots over to another Muslim to fill in for them and they don’t see any issue with it because they don’t really care who is elected.

Postal Voting is one of the biggest problems this country faces and abolishing it should be a priority for anyone who wants their country back.

I was astonished to learn that Mayor Khan has given the ‘go ahead’ (even before election) for one of London top THEATRES has a planning application (APPROVED) to turn it into another central London Mosque. This is in theater land, not in an area known for religious studies. It can only get worse under Mayor Khan who famously banned all the ‘nipples; on the London Underground posters along with anything else he did not like. So he gets reelected for another four years.

Another four years of Khan. It turns out that the PM didn’t even vote for the Tory candidate.

So Susan Hall runs an anti-ULEZ campaign, the government doesn’t back her in the slightest… meanwhile they are a major funder of C40 cities, whose head is Sadiq Khan… which calls for zero privately owned cars in London by 2030.

    It’s all window dressing.

Yes fancy that…. And the fact that TFL has been bankrupt thrice times, bailed out by the current government, who gave him the net zero targets to meet (knowing they would be unpopular to voters). One of those responsible was given a peerage (house of lords) despite him not being in cabinet or elected for promoting net zero policies. He left complaining that, he wanted a total ban on pretty much anything that moved by car, eat, reproduced or breathed.
He resigned rather than be pushed for his efforts. He gave KHAN the tools knowing that he had the Muslim vote to get back in… he had friends in high places…

Astonishing threats issued by the global thugs in America to invade the EU, specifically the Netherlands if the ICC issues any kind of arrest warrant against Israeli elites for war crimes!

Stunning hypocrisy by the global thug akin to a drug gang springing a prisoner or threatening a judge and his family if he even deigns to hear a case!

It proves the global thug has no interest in the rule of law not any kind of rules based international order, and seeing as it only represents around 13% of the global population it’s making an awful lot of enemies around the world over something which has no real positive outcome for it.

The US hegemony is fast fading as countries turn their backs on such an immoral gang of thugs.

      Or maybe China …

“The Xinjiang internment camps, officially called vocational education and training centers (Chinese: 职业技能教育培训中心) by the government of China, are internment camps operated by the government of Xinjiang and the Chinese Communist Party Provincial Standing Committee.”

The BBC loves to wring its hands about the UIghurs but the truth is they are a minority Muslim sect and there are far larger groups of Muslims in China who suffer no state persecution (other than what is normal in a Communist country).

They never mention this, just that it’s happening to one group and leave the audience to extrapolate it to everyone.

Interesting case from an amateur anthropologist perspective, studying the wildlife in modern Britain.
The Harlow stabbing trial, Chavs v Tieran Carmody.

The one were the children were “scared” by a black man in the park, near a playground.
And went to get their parents, who all came out to confront him.
And where the BBC didn’t mention it all happened at 11 o’clock at night.

Naturally the bbc are doing a poor job keeping up.

    https://www.essexlive.news/news/essex-news/essex-dad-confronted-teen-before-9232824

‘ Richardson was part of a group of adults who got into a confrontation with Carmody when questioning him about his presence near their home.

The witness, who cannot be named for legal reasons and gave evidence from behind a screen on Thursday (April 18), said: “He was stood there glancing at us. He was sat there in silence. Max [Richardson] and Mark [Campbell] and some others approached him. …
He was wearing gloves which did not seem usual”

Glancing is the new staring I guess…

    https://www.essexlive.news/news/essex-news/max-richardson-murder-teen-tells-9253745

Carmody, 19, of Berecroft in Harlow, denies murdering Mr Richardson near Joyner’s Field in the town on August 21, 2023. Mr Richardson, a 35-year-old father, died from a single stab wound.

Carmody claimed Mr Richardson was “angry with him” and kept approaching him despite him drawing a knife to “stop the altercation”.

Carmody told the court there was “a lot of shouting” during the incident, which took place at around 11pm. Carmody claims to have heard snippets of the shouting, including one person threatening to “shoot” him, and another calling him a “p*******e”.

    Interesting bleeping out.

“He still came towards me, I could hear people telling him ‘he’s got a knife, he’s got a knife’. I was holding it up to him. He didn’t take no notice [sic], he didn’t care, he wasn’t threatened by me having a knife. He was just angry and came towards me.”

Self defense is a hard sell when carrying a big illegal knife in public, but there does seem extenuating circumstances.

I don’t know why the Daily Mail doesn’t just make up their little stories about these repellent foreign people, and publish them in one of their garish supplements on a daily basis!

The Daily Express could take over their coverage of the rest of the news, as long as they stop shoving ridiculous photos of non-slebs showing their rather ugly mugs and bums on every page!

The beeboids could fart around as usual, trying to explain all the rubbish in their dire programmes, and as they’re easily ignored as well, we can all get some sleep!

Fortunately, the ‘alternative’ press, i.e., the real investigative and inclusive journalists, are becoming so much better as each day passes, and as far as I can see, the prospects are even better for them, because when Stare Kramer gets into Downing Street later this year, there won’t really be anyone in the MSM to report the incident…

One of my elderly neighbours told me he had driven through a Muslim area at the weekend, and there were at least 5 people collecting for Palestine, with buckets, he said that he wasn’t approached but was able to see that there was the word Hamas on the buckets.

I asked him whether he had phoned the Police as two offences had taken place, one clearly supporting terrorism, and also collecting without a licence.

He’s approaching 80 and said if I report them to the Police they will take no notice of me, and if I push it they will very likely arrest me instead of them.

When elderly people see the truth of how the Police have become then things have become very bad indeed.

It’s not racist to air concerns about immigration, says BBC review!!

An INTERNAL review that they actually published on themselves. Its called Navel gazing. . Unlike the previous ‘BALEN report which they did not… as THAT was too embarrassing, and may of led to the end of the BBC license fee. (demands by MP’s). We can’t have that, can we?

    Today. In DT.
The BBC has been told that it is not racist to air concerns about immigration in a review that found journalists are anxious about appearing “hostile” to migrants.

The review, commissioned by the BBC board and authored by Madeleine Sumption, the director of the Migration Observatory at Oxford University, looked at the impartiality and accuracy of the BBC’s coverage of migration.

    Pheew!

But Tim Davie is onto it:
The BBC board said it would take the review findings board to “further improve editorial standards and audience impact”.

Yeah right. Problem solved. Maybe. But we know it won’t change a thing. Its protecting the License fee. We have to pay right? We have to pay for it. Always and forever.

Here is the whole DT piece

STARTS The BBC has been told that it is not racist to air concerns about immigration in a review that found journalists are anxious about appearing “hostile” to migrants.

The review, commissioned by the BBC board and authored by Madeleine Sumption, the director of the Migration Observatory at Oxford University, looked at the impartiality and accuracy of the BBC’s coverage of migration.

It found no consistent bias towards Left or Right but identified “risks to impartiality that point in multiple directions”.

“BBC coverage should have equal empathy for migrants and UK residents who worry about the impacts of migration,” it said.

Ms Sumption conducted the bulk of the review with Samir Shah, who then stepped down in December after being nominated as BBC chairman.

The review involved more than 100 contributors from inside and outside the corporation, including journalists and senior management. It concluded that while the BBC produced a lot of excellent content on migration, there were also weaknesses.

      Social and economic impact
The biggest single topic that audiences said they wanted to hear more about was the social and economic impact of migration, both positive and negative.

“Coverage should pay more attention to how migration affects communities, public services, housing and the labour market. All audiences in our research were interested in these questions, but particularly people with concerns about migration,” the report said.

“By focusing primarily on political developments, BBC coverage can overlook some of these concerns. Journalists were sometimes anxious about taking on topics they felt could appear hostile to migrants, such as immigration fraud or local concerns about migration.

“When these topics are covered with sufficient depth, however, it is possible to prove the issues at hand while also being respectful towards the people involved.”

The review found that “for the most part, story selection appeared to be driven not by deliberate choices to cover or not cover certain topics, but by the culture of following the political agenda”.

It added: “However, some BBC journalists said that some stories felt more risky to cover, particularly if the topics could appear unsympathetic to migrants or migration. One BBC journalist also said that if it was seen as ‘not a nice story’ it was less likely to be promoted across other BBC outlets or reposted on social media.

“BBC journalists and senior management told us that staff come disproportionately from groups that are more relaxed about migration. Several pointed out that it would be easier for the BBC to represent different views convincingly if staff had a wider range of backgrounds and political opinions.

“They might also feel more confident exploring all relevant views without worrying that they are stereotyping or patronising them.”

Context on why people move to UK
Ms Sumption said the BBC’s coverage often failed to distinguish between migrants and asylum seekers, and sometimes gave the false impression that most migration to the UK takes place via small boats.

On that topic, many participants said they wanted to know more about how people in small boats got the money to pay smugglers, but one BBC journalist said they would be “reluctant” to ask that in case it appeared “hostile” towards asylum seekers.

Audiences, regardless of their views on migration, also want more context on why people move to the UK. The report said: “They wanted to hear directly from migrants themselves.”

The review said the BBC should provide more context when presenting numbers, for example the number of boat arrivals, and to explain whether or not the UK is unusual in the number of migrant arrivals or the Government’s attitude towards them.

“A single daily number for boat arrivals is usually meaningless,” it said. “It’s not just that audiences learn nothing from a single day’s statistics – or even a week’s statistics, for that matter. The figures can actively mislead. This creates an impartiality risk.”

      ‘Appropriate framing of migration stories’
The BBC board said it would take the review findings board to “further improve editorial standards and audience impact”.

A spokesman said: “We note that the review found that the BBC produces a lot of excellent content on migration and has highlighted important best practice. Significantly, the review found no consistent bias towards one point of view on this topic. However, it did identify risks to impartiality that point in multiple directions.

“We welcome the practical illustration of the challenges BBC teams face in serving a wide range of licence payer interests and ensuring that we cover this subject with precision and depth and draw on the full spectrum of experience and views.

“We believe that the analysis will particularly help the BBC in broader and more creative story selection and appropriate framing of migration stories.”

The board has asked Tim Davie, the director-general, to address the issues raised.ENDS

You can guess the comments – no evidence of bias – was the point when intelligent people stopped reading this self serving lie .
