Midweek 29th May 2024

Tuesday saw the first obvious Far Left attitude of the BBC in the General Election . A speech by Nigel Farage was censored – cut off – with the presenter describing him as ‘inflammatory ‘ . Hours later she – Guru Murphy – was forced to apologise on air . A clear breach of the balance the BBC espouses by the hour and a sign of things to come in the 39 days to the Election . Shameful .

I will correct that to ‘over the murder’ as per Sky article. Sorry to sound harsh but these random murders are becoming too frequent and they are no longer shocking.

This is becoming the new way of fighting politicians by getting the cops and courts onside to go after or ignore anyone depending on their party…see the Donald Trump and Hunter Biden pantomimes for clarification.

    BBC playbook in full flow.

    The One Show.
They start a feature with a comment about the ‘Cost of Living Crisis’. What? Inflation is down to 2.3% and the BBC are still peddling yesterday’s news. Clearly pushing the Labour narrative.

Then the feature reveals itself. Two Muslim opticians have been giving out free glasses because of the cost of living crisis. Isn’t that nice?

    So. Absolutely no agenda whatever.

    Pointless. A Muslim couple.
They get a question about Les Miserables. Guess what? They’ve just been to see it!

They win through to the final. One of the options is Scandinavian Film directors. Amazingly one of them appears to be an expert on this. So they win the jackpot of £6000.

What are the chances of that? On the BBC, very high indeed.

    A 90s throwback on R5 earlier today —

Men’s mag Loaded is being brought back to life. I had no stake in the game, late 90s lad culture always seemed limited to me, but it was great fun listening to Naga bristle with indignation during her talk to new female editor Danni Levi, a Costa del Sol based fitness model. Danni is unashamedly confident men are still interested in bloke jokes and ogling beautiful women, albeit in a more refined guise for these times.

Outrage highlights included: “What do red-blooded males bring to society”? She was also put out by the prospect of a return of what Levi called “good British humour”. You could hear the teeth grinding all the way from Manchester as Naga was forced to contemplate a nightmarish resurrection of Roy Chubby Brown on VHS and repeats of Mind Your Language rising from the graveyard of our misandrist and stifling culture.

BBC impartiality was nowhere to be seen. Carry On Up The Munchetty?

UN resumes transporting aid via US-built pier after Gazans intercepted trucks
    https://www.timesofisrael.com/un-resumes-transporting-aid-via-us-built-pier-after-gazans-intercepted-trucks/

This from last Friday when the pier had been open only a week.

‘Intercepted’ means ‘looted’. And they don’t look like crowds of desperate Palestinians to me, they look like fit young men who plan to sell it.

Apparently of 16 trucks, 11 didn’t make it to the warehouse.

    ?uuid=6a1ea46e-7510-5fe3-932b-819395bae4f8&function=cropresize&type=preview&source=false&q=60&crop_w=0.999&crop_h=0.84468&width=930&height=523&x=0&y=0.077659354304636

What a surprise !. Did anyone doubt that this aid would be stolen ? – if not by looters then by Hamas.

Of course I can find no story about this looting and the stopping of the trucks anywhere on the BBC. Obviously not the kind of thing they want us to know. The narrative is that Palestinians are poor, innocent victims.

And now the whole pier has broken away and is out of action for the forseeable future.

US Gaza pier knocked out of action by heavy seas
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c033m529ry0o

No mention in the BBC report that it had just been reopened because of looting of course – which would seem an entirely relevant thing to include.

What a top-notch f*ck up. The whole scheme sounded stupid from the start.

But of course it was forced through by none other than Joe Biden proving that his gross incompetence combined with arrogance causing the bloodbath in Afghanistan was no fluke. And just like Afghanistan, he forced this one for personal political gain as well.

The man is absolutely unfit for office.

Jeremy Bowen: Ukraine faces its worst crisis since the war began
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c9xx15pe311o

Bowens clearly been given the green light in Ukraine after a period of absence (for medical reasons I suspect). And he’s back in full swing with the lies.

    In this report he states:
‘Two guided bombs destroyed a DIY superstore and garden centre on Saturday afternoon when it was crowded with shoppers.’

If anyone has seen the effect of just one of these bombs, Jeremy knows full well that there would be a LOT more than 12 dead if it were crowded with shoppers. It would be dozens or even hundreds.

    He goes on:
Andrii took out his mobile and scrolled through photos of the superstore before the attack.
“Look what beautiful flowers they had here. And not a single military man, everyone was a civilian.”
Perhaps showing us that picture would have been useful here Jeremy as it is key to the whole thing. And what a convenient thing to say. It smacks of another made-up statement to counter all the reports is was being used as a military warehouse.

He then rambles on with things like:
‘On the steps of the opera house teenage boys practised jumps on their skateboards and girls were recording TikTok dances on their phones. Inside the opera house, in a deep concrete basement, an orchestra was rehearsing for the music festival that the war has not stopped.’

Thanks Jeremy – but in what way is that relevant ?.

I’ve realised that all Bowen wants to do for this and all his Muslim terrorist reports is write his empathy-laden ‘masterpieces’ for his own ego. That’s why he immerses himself among those he can portray as ‘victims’. It’s 100% narcissism. The reports are actually all about virtue-signalling to compensate for his own huge mental deficiencies. Like all Lefties, you can sure he doesn’t actually give a shit about those he uses.

The brigade was named the 77th in tribute to the 77th Indian Infantry Brigade, which was part of the Chindits, an Indian Army guerilla warfare force led by Orde Wingate who used unorthodox tactics against the Japanese in Burma in World War II. https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/behavioural-insights-team

      What is the Nudge Unit?
The Nudge Unit was established in the Cabinet Office in 2010 by David Cameron’s government to apply behavioural science to public policy. Now owned partly by the Cabinet Office, by Nesta and by employees, it has operations across the world.

Its chief executive is Dr David Halpern, former director of research at the Institute for Government, who is also the government’s What Works national adviser.

      Why ‘nudge’?
It is called ‘nudge’ after the book by Richard Thaler (who went on to win the Nobel prize in economics) and Cass Sunstein which set out how people are not the rational economic actors beloved of conventional economic theory – but can be influenced by “choice architecture” into making better choices in their own interests.

    Corrections and Clarifications

    BBC News Channel
    28 May 2024

‘We heard live from Nigel Farage, honorary President of Reform UK, speaking at one of its election events. When coming away from the speech, our presenter said Mr Farage was using ‘customary inflammatory language’. This did not meet the BBC’s editorial standards for impartiality. The presenter later apologised on air to viewers and Mr Farage who publicly accepted the apology.’

‘In a question to the Foreign Secretary David Cameron our presenter asked about Israel attacking and murdering tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians. Shortly after the programme, Nick Robinson posted on X saying he could have been clearer that he was not expressing his own view or that of the BBC’s when he used the word “murders”: ‘

‘In an article about the Liberal Democrats’ spring conference we wrongly described the political party Reform UK as far-right when referring to polling.’

It’s ridiculous that the BBC can make such politically biased comments on prime-time news then get away with an apology which nobody ever knows about unless other news media report it for them.

Isn’t amazing how often they are in favour of the Leftist view ?. I thought they were supposed to be unbiased.

And once again the BBC go nowhere near questioning how Hamas are so firmly entrenched in a camp for displaced people.

Is it run by the UN like all the others ? – they seem to specifically avoiding mentioning it now. For obvious reasons.

‘Videos of the incident posted to social media and analysed by BBC Verify showed multiple people with serious injuries.’

Oh well done ‘BBC Verify’. How did you analyse them exactly ?. Just watch them ?.

‘There was no clear sign of a blast zone or crater, making it impossible to ascertain the cause of the incident.’

Oh but it tells us a lot there ‘BBC Verify’. It tells us it wasn’t a bomb or a missile which most definitely would leave a crater. Then a process of elimination points to what the cause may well have been : the ignition of a fuel store and/or ammunition as already claimed for example. The fact you don’t state that is another whopping lie by omission from the BBC in favour of the terrorists.

BBC Verify are a complete lie. They are there to verify or disprove agenda topics. If the conclusion is inconvenient, they ignore it.

Obviously the likes of Ireland with terrorism in its’ ‘culture ‘ is the most likely to sympathise with Islamic hamas – but there should be a price . Will Islamic Hamas have a base – sorry – embassy in Ireland now where it can import weapons to fight the west ?

    • JohnC says:

Even admitting that Hamas do that would be a huge leap forward andy.

It is absolutely beyond doubt and the BBC have enough Gazan Muslim staff that they could easily verify it for themselves. But they don’t. Every single mention of Hamas fighting from within civilians has ‘Israels says that …’ around it to infer nobody else says it. But then that would enable the question of why the UN have allowed it – and they don’t want that. They might be replaced by a group who are not pushing the far-Left agenda.

If the BBC and then the rest of the media put the pressure and disgrace onto Hamas which they deserve, world opinion would make them realise nobody supports them and they are doing it for nothing.

But the likes of the BBC protect them and make out Israel are just bombing civilians. The question ‘Why did they bomb that place’ is never asked. We are just told they bombed it.

And so the world is rallying around Hamas against the evil Israel and now they are getting rewarded for their terrorism by more countries officially recognising them as a state.

The MSM – and especially the BBC – are absolutely drenched in the blood of those civilians. I am truly ashamed of them.

I say it should be dismantled , abolished altogether .

Firstly because there will be many people who wont realise (especially in the rest of the world ) that it is under this new (?) management . They will think its the BBC of old . Old old ,as it was in the 1940s . And believe what it says .

Secondly the BBC is like a lot of other institutions and traditions – hollowed out and infested by Gramscians , and its important to bring this to light and show what they do . Let people be on their guard against future infiltration of anti democrats into institutions who are unaccountable . Cut off the pathway of the Long March through the institutions .

‘Donald Trump Says He’ll Stop All Electric Car Sales’
    https://gizmodo.com/donald-trump-says-stop-electric-car-sales-1851503550

This is Gizmodo, but a search brings up loads of sites just like when the BBC push agenda down the TNI.

Trump has pledged to remove some of the penalties against normal cars and the tax gifts for electric cars. And as a result he says car makers ‘will not be able to sell those cars’. Because – he says – nobody really wants them.

So what he has pledged to do is let the free market decide. The headline is completely and deliberately misleading.

Meanwhile the BBC’s Marianna-pants-on-fire chases obscure tweets from individual right-wing males we never heard of until she brought it up.

These are the immense double-standards of the Leftist activists – who have infiltrated almost all the media and public service institutions – we are up against. Unfortunately, we’ll have to endure a continuation of these manic strategies which really have no fiscal sense, when red labour get in on July 4th.

The BBC has done nothing to defend the normal mode of private transport used by normal citizens, i.e. the car, the white van, the lorry etc. This isn’t really surprising for those in non-jobs in beeboid ‘journalism’ who really don’t actually understand concrete facts.

    Dick Schoof edition

Pick of the election coverage this morning – and it’s in the Guardian but one feels constrained to award credit wherever credit is due…

Marina Hyde observes: ‘The PM is so convinced he can’t win, he is promising any old mad thing’ – careful, luv, you don’t want to break the fourth wall (as they say in theatre) and get too explicit about our regime-sanctioned Uniparty’s changing of the guard

The best outsider’s commentary today comes care of 80s rockstar and Mod Revial legend the Bard of Woking Paul Weller: Modfather: Our political leaders are absolute mugs (Daily Star) – I’m going underground

Sometimes these segueways can be somewhat contrived… our absolute mug and seat-warmer for Starmer helps promote the mildly conservative Daily Telegraph’s podcast this morning as he’s shown photographed frontpage with a Daily T logoed tea mug: Rishi Sunak faced questions from Camilla Tominey and Kamal Ahmed on the Daily T podcast

The Daily Star holds the accolade for absolute beginner’s absolute worst weather forecasts (a distinction lifted from the BBC’s very own Michael Fish – there’s one for the teenagers) however, the junior poundshop Guardian that is the ‘i’ newspaper is fishing for the title: Climate Brace yourselves for constant rain by 2034

Guardianista out on loan slumming it over there at the ‘i’ Yasmin Alibhai-Brown appears to call for a return to the patriarchy with Dickensian attitudes and conditions in Britain: Victorian voters were better informed before they cast their votes – perhaps she’s finally gone completely around the Oliver Twist? – or could she be talking about Antipodean local elections? – any explanation beyond the frontpage is beyond our remit, I’m afraid.

You laughed until you cried along to Paula Vennells’s tear-soaked performance at the Post office, were hardly undersold by Dame Sharon White failing at the helm of high street staple John Lewis – now meet your new prospective boss girl diversity hire supreme: Business like: Rachel Reeves… setting out her case that Labour is now ‘the natural party for British business’ (freebie giveaway corporate adsheet Metro)

If you’re one of those people (as that chap Denis Norden who used to present those old time tv nostalgia shows used to say) who finds the FT crossword a little tricky to complete – a far easier daily challenge is a little puzzle I like to call ‘far-right watch’. Simply spot and draw a ring around all the incidencies of the phrase ‘far right’ you can locate on the frontpage of the pink paper to win yourself the prize… a prize I like to call the globalist corporate anti-national one world government title – here’s just a couple of examples from this morning’s edition to get you started…

How the far-right enthrals Europe’s young -(FT Big Read)

I thought they said this scare was dissipating? Why Europe’s far right is breaking apart from the inside. The far right might be rising in polls ahead of European elections next month, but it has been deflated by an old weakness — factional rivalry (FT, 8 days ago)

Yes, says the FT but it’s a constant threat: The far right is moving into Europe’s mainstream. The current surge in legal and illegal migration into Europe is a large part of the explanation for the support for far-right parties (FT, November 2023)

Not to worry, the FT has a long term plan: How we can beat the far right. Lastly, our best long-term strategy against the far right is to educate more people. For reasons we don’t quite understand, higher education seems to inoculate voters against rightwing populism… Most of Europe’s far-right voters share one particular characteristic: low education. (FT, 2012)

So our universities act as left wing voter factories.

Ah, so this from our out-going PM Rishi today makes a certain amount of sense – late in the day although it may be: Tory vow to ban ‘rip-off’ university degrees… Up to 1 in 8 students could see ‘Mickey Mouse’ courses axed…(Daily Mail); PM: Axe to fall on rip-off degrees (Daily Express)

But we digress… I’ll gift far right spotters on the frontpage of this morning’s FT a further helping hand…

Ex-spy leads Netherlands… Dick Schoof… chosen as premier, leading a populist coalition… I’ll give you just half a point for the word populist …populist coalition that includes the far right (FT) – there you go.

Now here’s a thing… we refer of course to the Caucasus

Georgia passes divisive bill… a “foreign influence” bill… The law forces civil rights groups and media outlets receiving funds from abroad to register with the government as “foreign agents” (FT) – I do like the sound of that.

EU FUNDING OF THE BBC Early Day Motion 791: tabled on 28 January 2008 That this House notes that soft loans and payments amounting to 258 million euros over the last five years were paid by the EU to the BBC; believes that such payments compromise the independence and objectivity of the BBC on EU issues… (Tabled in the 2007-08 session) (EDM.Parliament.UK)

And naturally: Brussels has repeatedly warned Tbilisi that Georgia’s EU bid… would be frozen if the “foreign agents” bill passed (FT) – It ain’t no secret conspiracy – it’s all there in plain sight (as they say) if you just care to look for it.

‘Ms Abbott, who became the first black woman to be elected to Parliament in 1987, was a close ally of former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and served as his shadow home secretary.’

‘What the ****’s going on?’ said the ladylike Ms Abbott.
It seems Jeremy was only interested in everyone knowing he had a black girlfriend.

What a set of freaks. This will be right under the BBC carpet.

They then said it WAS about paying it the wrong way.

Why would they mention all the things he’s NOT being charged with unless it’s to make it sound as bad as they can for Trump.

TWatO Watch #1 (from yesterday) – More Gullibles Travels from the Montacutie

Needless to say when considering the subject of Gaza, the Montacutie had a Palestinian on speed dial and ready to talk to the BBC. Needless to say this Palestinian lad (taught to taqqiya) said that the Israeli Military caused the deaths of 45 ‘innocent’ Palestinians. What do we learn today? The Israeli Military have checked and they claim they did not fire rockets into Rafah at the weekend. They say the explosion and fire which destroyed all those tents had a secondary cause.

Who to believe? I believe the Israel Defence Force. The explosion may well have been caused in Rafah by a Hamas rocket that are known to misfire. Yet the BBC routinely repeat the lie that Israeli forces destroyed the hospital in Gaza City in the north despite the evidence that it was due to a misfired or misfiring Hamas rocket.

Talking of royalty – I recalled that Ashton was at one time a Privy Councillor and thought to take a quick look at the Privy Counsel.

When you think of the term ‘Privy Counsel’ simply replace it with the word ‘Politburo’. It helps to clarify things in the mind. This institution is very old. As you can see Tony Blair is a member. If you want to know who is of eminence among members of the Politburo, try and find out which Bilderberg meetings, Trilateral Commission meetings, etc. they have attended. For example, do you think David Lammy and Grant Schapps are just harmless buffoons? A couple of years ago Lammy and Schapps attended the Bilderberg meeting together with the head of MI5. This is where you will begin to scratch at the surface of who actually runs this sh*thole.

            Representatives of society
            Background and characteristics of MPs

Full print version, including charts and tables

The social make-up of those elected to the House of Commons has changed over the last 100 years.

In terms of gender, ethnicity and occupation, MPs have become more diverse. But they have become less varied in terms of their educational background, and possibly the extent to which they represent the changing world outside Westminster.

The first female was elected in 1918. However, women were less than 10% of all MPs until 1997, when the election of 120 women brought the proportion in the Commons to 18%, double the 9% pre-election tally. After a slight dip in 2001, the number of women MPs has continued to grow; 143 women MPs were elected in the 2010 General Election, 22% of the total.

Ethnically, the House of Commons has become more diverse. Until 25 years ago, MPs had largely been white, although a small number of MPs who would probably now be classed as black and minority ethnic were elected before 1900. The first contemporary black and minority ethnic MPs were elected in 1987 and the number has grown since then. Following the 2010 General Election there were 27 minority ethnic MPs, 11 Conservative and 16 Labour.

Over 75% of current MPs are graduates; in the period 1918 to 1945, around 40% were. There have been increases across all parties, but particularly for Labour MPs. Before 1945, less than 20% of Labour MPs were graduates. This rose to 32% in 1945, and steadily after that to stand at 72% by 2010.

Former Thai PM Thaksin to face royal insult charges
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn44555ly8lo

Here’s that grubby BBC communist Jonathan Head again peddling his anti-conservative lies and rhetoric again.

    The article is about this:
‘In that article he had accused the king’s top advisory body, the privy council, of helping engineer the 2014 military coup which deposed an administration led by his sister Yingluck.
Yingluck Shinawatra, elected in the 2011 general election, led Thailand for three years before being ousted by the coup.’

That is a complete lie and Head knows it.

The coup did NOT oust Yingluck. She had been removed from office due to abuse of power earlier (she had illegally replaced someone with Thaksins relative who was now in a position to railroad an amnesty law through Parliament to let Thaksin come back to Thailand). So she was not even in government now.

Yingluck was removed on 7th May (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yingluck_Shinawatra#:~:text=On%207%20May%202014%2C%20the%20Constitutional%20Court%20unanimously%20dismissed%20Yingluck,Council%20secretary%2Dgeneral%20in%202011.)
‘A few weeks after Yingluck was impeached, the military coup of 2014 occurred.’

The coup occured during mass-protests against another attempt to force an amnesty bill through Parliament. Thailand now had a caretaker government and they started to murder the protestors to try and make them go home. Things degenerated quickly and the coup was done to avoid the country falling into civil war. I was here watching the news daily.

Thaksin orchestrated all of this in exile using Skype.

Yingluck fled the country due to corruption charges over the rice-scheme she (by who I mean Thaksin) implemented. The scheme was notionally to give farmers a fixed price for rice. However from a 600 billion baht budget, only 100 billion was ever paid out. The rest ‘disappeared’.

Maybe a bit of a ramble for those not interested – but the point is that Head is another lying far-Left BBC scumbag.

When he was at the height of his ascendancy, he ordered his chair to be placed on the sea-shore as the tide was coming in. Then he said to the rising tide, “You are subject to me, as the land on which I am sitting is mine, and no one has resisted my overlordship with impunity. I command you, therefore, not to rise on to my land, nor to presume to wet the clothing or limbs of your master.” But the sea came up as usual, and disrespectfully drenched the king’s feet and shins. So jumping back, the king cried, “Let all the world know that the power of kings is empty and worthless, and there is no king worthy of the name save Him by whose will heaven, earth and the sea obey eternal laws.”

I’ve seen job adverts for Brussels / Strasbourg EU Commission functionaries + officials that outlined their tax free status.

I had assumed MEPs were paid from EU central funds and had similar provisions.. ho hum, live and learn.

Here we go again…. same script …

“While Nigel Farage may not be standing for Reform, he hasn’t ruled out a sort of deal with the Tory Party. Speaking on Never Mind the Ballots, he was push by Harry Cole on whether Reform would step aside for Tory candidates, such as Iain Duncan Smith, to keep in eurosceptics in Parliament and prevent Corbynista replacements. Nigel replied:

“What are they going to do back for me? Give me something back. We might have a conversation.””

Funny IDS gets a mention . His majority is 3500 and he is certain to lose chingford to a Muslim – female last time with a very very nasty campaign with all the Islamic trimmings – but they’ve not killed anyone yet ….

Guess IDS is top of the list for the retirement home ( lords ) along with May and Hunt … and Gove … and Sunak
