Start the Week 17th June 2024

Monday marks the publication of the Reform Party Contract – they refuse to call it a manifesto because manifestos mean nothing . We can be sure the BBC will classify it as ‘unapproved ‘ so it will get the full ‘anti’ treatment from the anti British BBC . You can already hear the sneers – particularly as the Far Left BBC is getting worried about the sheer popularity of Reform . Let’s see.

OK, I will start off as I’m not watching the endless footie post-mortems or the golf on TV. Is the BBC biased? In my view it most certainly is. Promoting Labour, Palestinians, Joe Biden and the UN at every opportunity.

Couldn’t stand the women on Mark Dolan’s panel. I’m watching Peter Hitchens talking to Peter Whittle on the New Culture Forum in stead. I was depressed enough about the upcoming election but if Starmer gets in, I am now in dread. Mr Hitchens recommends voting anyway you can to limit Sir Keir. He also doesn’t believe the polls and explains why. We shall see.

Tonight there was two Labour women, the new one ‘working class and proud of it’, but doesn’t seem to have a lot of brain but unlike Amy Tickell this one thinks she has a brain. Worst one is the black girl who I think was on the Apprentice. She really doesn’t have a brain but just repeats things that I assume she has been fed by Labour Party briefings but hasn’t a clue how stupid the things are.

Meanwhile our tv appears to have given up the ghost halfway through Mr Hitchens. If it has, will we replace it? Maybe even give up the license and watch GBNews on catchup.

Yes Deb, the Apprentice black girl is a huge turn off. Why the bookers get these kids on who haven’t a clue, is beyond me.

At the other end of the scale is Tom Harwood. He’s not yet 30, but he appears to have exited the womb aged 55 ! A very knowledgeable chap, but one who was what we used to call ” a bloody knowall” at school.

Atlas thank you – I’ve already turned down a knighthood because I want a peerage – there are more bungs in that one ….

          Today
          Our Justin v Nigel Farage

Surprising it wasn’t Meesh – he could have done to her what he did to Naga and ‘Charlie ‘ on Friday ….

In fairness to Justin – he stuck to the BBC anti Reform script – but without the level of interruption the others wouid have done .
The weirdest thing was a line about whether he is ‘democratic ‘ or not … the argument went Farage supports President Trump – president Trump tried to overturn a ‘fair U.S. election ‘ – therefore trump is in democratic and therefore Farage is anti democratic ….
……. I squirmed a bit listening to this nonsense metro rubbish .
Farage tried to show support for a real issue – help for 5 million small businesses which no one gives a toss about ….

But the big announcement was that Nigel Farage said he wants to be PM by the 2029 election … a surprising thing to say but one can only dream

The run up to 4th July is going to get nastier and milkshake sales as well as more violent attacks seem inevitable …

Peace talks tomorrow if Russia leaves Ukraine – Zelensky
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cxrr1kyp04eo

Sometimes I wake up, check what BBC are attempting to feed me as a serious, top-world news headline and I think I’ve woken up in some sort of parallel universe where reality as I know it no longer exists.

This one is about as extreme as propaganda can get. The treatment of the comedian Zelensky as a serious politician when he makes ridiculous statements like that does nobody any favours. It just means I don’t believe anything else he says or they write.

    He also said:
‘And asked by the BBC if Ukraine’s weaker position on the battlefield had forced him to consider diplomatic moves, he replied that this was not the case and Ukraine had always talked about peace.’

The man is a pathological liar !!.

    The best bit is:
‘A final document was adopted which blamed the war’s widespread suffering and destruction firmly on Russia.’

How can you just ‘adopt’ a document like that ?. Who wrote it ?.

Those are carefully chosen words which always require some thought if you see them on the BBC. It’s like saying ‘All the death and destruction of Germany in WW2 can be blamed firmly on the USA and their allies’. It’s meaningless. What’s important is WHY they are doing it. Something this entire farce doesn’t go anywhere near.

Russia are going to keep all the land they capture and unless there is a guarantee that the rest of Ukraine will not join NATO, they will keep going to make as large a buffer zone as they can. They cannot stop because it’s been made perfectly clear by the West that as soon as they do, Ukraine will be fast-tracked into NATO. I expect the paperwork has been prepared already.

This entire event was a complete waste of everybodies time and money and I’m sure Putin is laughing to himself.

Is Sunak still out there ?. Luckily for him they chose another beautiful place and excellent hotel to go to. Nice of him to fiddle while the UK is about to burn.

UK Doctor Who Ratings (2024) Accumulator
    https://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/uk-doctor-who-ratings-2024-101452.htm

The overnight figures are in for the penultimate eposide of the new Dr Who and it’s another record-breaker from the BBC.

The lowest overnight rating of all time.

Yet the IMDB comments are nearly all 10/10.
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt31433814/reviews?sort=submissionDate&dir=desc&ratingFilter=0

This is what the Left mean to me. They didn’t give it 10/10 because it’s good, they gave it 10/10 to support the political ideology behind it. They would have given it that score no matter how bad it was. They have deliberately swamped the fair review system.

The 10/10’s are interspersed with 1/10’s which I suspect are the only ones being truthful.

The woke lefty activists are liars and cheats and are the worst of all because they are just spiteful children who actually think it’s right to do it. They have no shame or actual ethics whatsoever. They might come when they grow up.

Hamburg police shoot man with axe ahead of Euros match
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c72292lpz2yo

Hot on the heels of the BBC NOT reporting the story of a man who murdered someone and stabbed 3 random others at a Euro party on Saturday, they now run a front-page story about a man with a small axe who threatened the police (but didn’t actually attack anybody).

The reason for this apparently amazing imbalance of priorities ?.

The same reason as always. The first man was an Afghani immigrant. The second was white.

Greek coastguard threw migrants overboard to their deaths, witnesses say

bbc has some “witnesses” to confirm this

    • digg says:

You only have to think about this claim for about five seconds to realise who would benefit from a story like this enough to make it up and get it into a media guaranteed to repeat it as gospel with absolutely no evidence to back it up.

Uncorroborated stories like this always have an aroma of doubt when the whistleblower is not revealed and are named simply as “witnesses“.

The end-game is to try to bring international scorn on the Greek coastguards to try to force punitive action by the Global godfathers in an attempt to diminish or halt Greek coastguard activities, thus giving the illegal migrants and their shady transport suppliers an easier path into Europe and eventually the UK come to that.

I’m sure that when a lot of people hear about the practices of the Greek coast guard they might have a thought which is best not uttered …. The reds haven’t banned ‘thought ‘ yet …

      • BigBrotherCorporation says:

IF there is any truth in these claims, don’t they demonstrate that the Greek Coast Guards (and the Greek Police, who are described as working with them) have been pushed beyond their limits by the current legislation regarding illegal immigration?

That such legislation is not working, and not fit for purpose?

To take the article at face value, we’re being asked to accept that within the Greek Coast Guard and the Greek Police too, there is a large scale cover up, of officers ‘going rogue’ and taking the law into their own hands, and of MURDERING people. It does all sound a little far fetched to me.

On the other hand, as Marky points out above, there are plenty of borders around the world where you will be shot for attempting to cross illegally, and sometimes by the guards on both sides of the fence.

Finally, it may be unpalatable to many, but if there are no deterrents to crossing a border illegally, why bother to have borders, or nations, or governments, or laws? You can’t have one, without the others, and vice versa, and that does mean you need to have some kind of enforcement to protect the borders, and ultimately those enforcers need some kind of teeth, or what is the point in them?

Truss was never going to win an election so they went for Sunak, who had proved a total dud in terms of knowing how to fight an election campaign. They’ve been let down by the head of the campaign, who has been so hapless that no one knows what the strategy is as it changes every day. He’s certainly no Lynton Crosby. Crosby was an inspirational leader, yet Levido, according to reports I hear, is going around telling anyone he comes across how the party will win fewer than 100 seats. If I had a campaign manager who did that I’d fire them. In addition, the money has dried up. It’s all been spent and donors are refusing to pour any more money down a very deep drain.”

And here’s another whopping lie by omission from the BBC.

As we all know, they are very quick to call Modi and the BJP racists whenever they can. The BBC hate them because they do not share the Leftist ideology.

But they are not so quick to report things like this which explain why some people are anti-Islam:

Christian pensioner beaten up and stoned to death by group of furious Muslims
    https://www.gbnews.com/news/world/pakistan-man-dead-christian-beat-up-stoned-quran-muslim-attackers

Just to get this murder into proper perspective : without any evidence or any fair trial, this Christian was accused on social media of burning pages of the Koran so 400 Muslims descended on him, beat him and his son up and stoned him to death. It’s horrific.

Then they put his entire family in his shoe factory and set fire to it. Luckily for them they got out.

This is hatred on an entirely different scale to anything the BJP might have done. It’s extreme. And the BBC don’t want us to know about it.

Now more than 200 families (mostly Catholics) have fled the area in fear.

Yet I cannot find this story anywhere on the BBC website with google. They have simply ignored it. If you search for ‘pakistan muslims bjp bbc’ all you get is a list of pro-Muslim articles.

These BBC Leftists are just about the lowest form of scum I can imagine. They use empathy overload everywhere to pretend they really care about victims. But they don’t. They don’t care one bit that a pensioner got stoned to death by a mob because it doesn’t fit their agenda. Any talk about victims at the BBC is only a tool to attack the people who made them victims. The worse their suffering the better as far as the BBC are concerned.

    Beeboid latest…

“Jonathan Ashworth, Labour’s shadow paymaster general, has just been speaking on BBC Breakfast where he talked up Labour’s plan to create more than 650,000 jobs over the next five years.

“We are going to re-industrialise this country,” he says, adding it means families will be better off.”

Surely he remembers the way that the unions and labour killed off our fabulous industrial base, with their disastrous strikes, especially at companies manufacturing our world-beating cars and motorbikes!

Or maybe it’s just slipped his memory…

Oh, and Beeboids, before you sneer too much at the Contract which Nigel Farage is offering today, don’t forget that Harold Wilson used exactly the same terminology back when he screwed the country., with his ridiculous ‘Social Contract’! That went well, didn’t it…

Or maybe it’ll just slip your memory…

“The Social Contract was a policy by the Labour government of Harold Wilson in 1970s Britain.

In return for the repeal of 1971 Industrial Relations Act, food subsidies, and a freeze on rent increases, the Trade Union Congress ensured that its members would cooperate with a programme of voluntary wage restraint.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Contract_(Britain)

      . . . .

Workers were sold the big lie that what already had been won by their own struggle was really a gift of the Labour government. It also peddled the fairy tale that if workers were moderate in their demands, they would be better protected than by taking industrial action for higher wages.

The Popular Front in France, an assortment of various leftist, communist, green parties and groupings , which is polling second to Marine Le Pen’s NR , is reviewed in todays Telegraph.
Whilst RN is labelled far or hard right the PF is labelled ‘left leaning ‘ yet if you read its manifesto it is something Marx , Engels , Lenin and Trotsky would have produced for the 21 st century.
I think the attachment of these labels indicates which of the parties the Globalists , who control most of the MSM , want to win in France .They must think that the hard, extreme left poses less of a threat to their world wide hegemony than does the economic leftism but cultural right wing and anti immigration policies of the RN. No doubt the BBC will soon start to reflect this Globalist labelling convention.
It does seem that these two groupings , I don’t use the word party to describe the PF hotpotch, are squeezing out Macron’s Renaissance party. I wonder if he did a deal with the left before his extraordinary decision to call the snap election because he think , knows, they will a better cohabitation partner for him and the EU, than RN would?

The key issue here is that it was the main first news headline and report on the BBC 7 am Toady news. And first story on the webshite at the time of writing.

Meanwhile on Thought for the Day, Mona Siddiqui was introduced by Mischal ‘useless’ Hussein as an ‘academic and broadcaster’. Not you will notice as a pro-Muslim advocate. We were of course treated to a story about Eid and the Haj.

Here’s a thought. Given the demonstrable pro-Muslim, mass open door immigration policies of the BBC…..why don’t they just stand for election?? There is one, you know. They could have a stand on one of the TV debates, even one of their own, and then they could really demonstrate their ‘impartiality’.

“The Government understand the concerns that some Members have set out about the operation of sharia councils. Indeed, the resolution on the basis of which the debate has been tabled acknowledged and welcomed the Home-Office-commissioned independent review, chaired by Professor Mona Siddiqui and commissioned by the now Prime Minister. That review looked at whether sharia law was being misused or applied in a way that is incompatible with domestic law in England and Wales, and whether there were discriminatory practices against women who use such councils.

How’s those Russia sanctions thing workin’ out fo’ yer?

Russia in Europe gas lead… Europe’s imports from Russia have overtaken supplies from the US for the first time in two years, despite the continent’s effort to wean itself off Russian fossil fuels amid the Ukraine war (FT)

Let’s pause here for a moment to admire the incidence of a well-deployed journalistic ‘despite’ – we always enjoy those – ever since our old pal Jacob Rees-Mogg appeared on Question Time and challenged Dimbleby over the prevailing typical ‘despite Brexit’ media headline construction. Mogg bravely went in to bat against the BBC fast attack joking about the likes of: “England win Test Match, despite Brexit”

I’ll wager Remain-minded Guardianista fingers were hovering over the letter ‘d’ on their keyboard last night even as they typed the header: Bellingham gets England off to a winning start… opening game in the Euro 24 championship… (Guardian) – more of that later

But we digressed. Back to that FT fretting over Europe gobbling up Russian fossil fuels… like there’s no tomorrow… as though gas and oil were going out of fashion…

How’s that Net Zero workin’ out fo’ yer? Eh, Monsieur Macron, Herr Scholtz, Frau von der Leyen?

Putin now outselling the US in terms of gas exports to Europe – blimey, did we go to the trouble of blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline for nothing?

Remember folks, it’s not a conspiracy theory, if it’s true.

Who damaged the Nord Stream pipeline? Sweden closes probe into Nord Stream pipeline blast… More than 16 months after the sabotage there is no accepted explanation. A series of reports has variously accused Russia, the United States and Ukraine of sabotage (Thank you Aljazeera, February 2024)

Western media won’t touch that story with a 1,200 km long pipeline

BBC and fellow media race-baiters went into overdrive fretting over the putative association of a picture of a black chap and bad news: Media criticised for use of Saka image in England defeat… Some media outlets have been criticised for the “divisive” choice of using a photograph of Bukayo Saka to illustrate England’s defeat by Iceland. (BBC, 1 June 2024) – we can’t be having that: A BBC spokesperson said… “It is of course important that we are considerate and take care around the images we use”

Happily: Perfect Ten… Jude gives nervy England Euro win (Daily Mirror) – Number 10 is his shirt number and Mr Bellingham is happily a chap of a darker hue

Jude Bellingham’s 13th-minute goal sealed a 1-0 victory for England over Serbia (Guardian)

England’s hero Martin Samuel on brilliant Bellingham (Times)

Head boy Jude secures nervy win for England (Daily Express)

England jewel Bellingham (‘i’); Hey Jude! – there’s one of the teenagers – the Telegraph attempts to get down with the kids

Referencing one’s own youth I’m oddly reminded of that World Cup 1994 track World in Motion by New Order and in particular that rap interlude by John Barnes

    We’re playing for England (En-ger-land)
    We’re playing the song…

You’ve got to hold and give
But do it at the right time
You can be slow or fast
But you must get to the line
They’ll always hit you and hurt you
    Defend and attack
There’s only one way to beat them
    Get ’round the back…

I can almost hear Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse as that pair of posh old codgers by the fireside at the gentlemen’s club surveying their newspapers and asking “Is he quare?”

Oh dear, the ever-excitable Daily Mail falls out of line and publishes a frontpage pic of a group of distressingly white England fans celebrating their narrow opening victory. There is a girlie amoung the lads – that counts as diversity of sorts – but yet those fans are unescapably hideously white [TM Greg Dyke]: Dyke urged to act after calling BBC ‘hideously white’ (Guardian, This article is more than 23 years old) and when it comes to the required media ethnic diversity quota – uselessly white [TM The Royal Air Force]: ‘Useless white male pilots’: The RAF diversity drive discrimination… admitted to discriminating against white male candidates in a hiring policy aimed at increasing diversity. (Sky News, August 2023)

Mind you, perhaps we can forgive the Daily Mail for this little slip, afterall a naughty little birdie whispers how Sir Keir Starmer’s Twitter X feed features a remarkably Why-ttttah! [TM Humza Yousaf SNP former Scottish First Minister] collection of images.

I don’t do Twitter X but if the photo of our piggy-eyed Sir Keir standing tall and stuffed-shirt statesman-like frontpage of BBC News online, snapped amoung a group of smiling NHS girlies in their blue scrubs is anything to go by – let’s put it this way, yer typical Getty Images sourced pic of NHS nurses it ain’t. There’s one East Asian-looking angel thorn in the bunch of about seven English/New Labour white roses.

And let’s just recall – it certainly wasn’t Mr AsI and his like hereabouts who first brought such intense scrutiny of race depiction in the media into the debate: This article is more than 23 years old

      Whose Truth?: Climate change denial
      The Documentary Podcast

Nobel Prize laureate Sir Paul Nurse wants science, not politics, to guide the debate surrounding climate change. But how do you convince the denialists? Babita Sharma takes us through the evolving strategies of those who claim climate change isn’t real, and speaks to two young people who are trying to make a difference. UK climate activist Phoebe L Hanson founded Teach the Teacher, which gives school children the resources to engage with their teachers on climate change. Ugandan Nyombi Morris set up a non-profit organisation, Earth Volunteers, to mobilise young people like him who wanted to promote the fight against the climate crisis.

      Big-Five-Mass-Extinctions.png

      https://ourworldindata.org/mass-extinctions

First, we must be clear on what we mean by “mass extinction”. Extinctions are a normal part of evolution: they occur naturally and periodically over time.1

      End Ordovician
      444 86%

Intense glacial and interglacial periods created large sea-level swings and moved shorelines dramatically. The tectonic uplift of the Appalachian mountains created lots of weathering, sequestration of CO2, and with it, changes in climate and ocean chemistry.

      Late Devonian 360 75%

Rapid growth and diversification of land plants generated rapid and severe global cooling.

      End Permian 250 96%

Intense volcanic activity in Siberia. This caused global warming. Elevated CO2 and sulfur (H2S) levels from volcanoes caused ocean acidification, acid rain, and other changes in ocean and land chemistry.

      End Triassic 200 80%

Underwater volcanic activity in the Central Atlantic Magmatic Province (CAMP) caused global warming and a dramatic change in the chemical composition of the oceans.

      End Cretaceous 65 76%

Asteroid impact in Yucatán, Mexico. This caused a global cataclysm and rapid cooling. Some changes may have already pre-dated this asteroid, with intense volcanic activity and tectonic uplift.

Our BBC local radio unfortunately reverts to BBC Radio 5 Live during the evenings, nightime and early hours. I use the radio for traffic info so the radio is tuned to it by default. Dotun Adebayo the Nigerian BBC presenter has been on mid evenings. His program is a relentless promotion of gay, ethnic issues and immigration it’s so full-on it’s embarrassing. It’s all a bit strange because when I used to listen to 5 Live years ago Adebayo was a decent and informative presenter but it’s almost if it’s either a case if Dotun Unleashed or he’s decided to become a race and gay propagandist himself.

Our Contract is not just another party manifesto. It sets out the reforms that Britain needs in the first 100 days following a general election and thereafter. It has been produced with advice from a range of independent economists, think tanks and advisors on savings and costings.

Costings can be found at the end of each policy page. Some policy areas come with net costs and others with net savings. There is also extra growth assumptions from our economic forums. Final annualised budget calculations across a 5 year term of government can be found at the end of this Contract.
