As part of the BBC’s efforts to get us to accept Islam in Britain, “The Archers” on Radio 4 has been having a story about fasting for Ramadan. Yes, in Ambridge in rural Borsetshire, a Muslim family – the Maliks – are preparing for Ramadan (NB The New Moon on Friday 28th will herald the month of celebration).

The Maliks were flooded out of their home because a wicked water company allowed sewage to overflow; they are staying with the Snells, who have spare rooms in their guest house. Lynda Snell and even husband Robert have been keen to join in the fasting, in solidarity with their Muslim guests. Now they are having reservations because Dr Malik’s son Khalil won’t be allowed to take part in the fast.

Young Khalil had suffered from leukaemia, Dr Malik revealed in tonight’s episode, and she worries for him like all good mothers. He’s over it now but she won’t let him fast just yet. He feels excluded, partly because elder sister Zainab will be fasting. Lynda was soooooo sympathetic to Dr Malik, who must be good as she works for “our” sainted NHS.

The whole presence of the Malik family in this radio soap is clearly designed to reassure Radio 4 folk that “Muslims are such nice people and really just like us!” The trouble is, not all of that “community” are as “nice” as the Maliks. I won’t, however, be holding my breath for a child-grooming story line, in which a young White Ambridge girl, attending school in big bad Borchester, gets abused by multiple Muslim men.

The word “snivelling” springs to mind.

“Trump accepts second state visit to UK, reveals letter from King Charles.

The invite came in a letter presented to Trump by U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who is meeting with Trump at the White House regarding ending the war in Ukraine.

“This is really special. This has never happened before. This is unprecedented,” Starmer said as he was sitting next to Trump in the Oval Office. ”

    Meanwhile:

    starmer:

In 2023, Sir Keir compared the Conservative Party to Mr Trump, accusing the Tories of straying far from the values championed by Winston Churchill.

“Is there anybody in the Government now who feels a sense of obligation to anything other than their own self-interest? To democracy, the rule of law, serving our country?” he asked during a speech in Buckinghamshire.

He criticised what he described as an “entitlement to power totally unchecked by any sense of service or responsibility,” calling it “the cultural stain that runs through the modern Conservative Party”.

Sir Keir added: “These aren’t Churchill’s Tories any more. If anything, they behave more and more like Donald Trump. They look at the politics of America and want to bring that here.”

In 2017, Mr Lammy called Mr Trump a “racist and KKK/neo-Nazi sympathiser”.

A year later, the Tottenham MP wrote in Time magazine that he would be protesting against the then government’s “capitulation to this tyrant in a toupee”, referring to Mr Trump’s first official visit to the UK.

“Trump is not only a woman-hating, neo-Nazi-sympathising sociopath,” Mr Lammy wrote, “he is also a profound threat to the international order that has been the foundation of Western progress for so long.”

Asked about his past comments in May 2024, Mr Lammy said: “Where I can find common cause with Donald Trump, I will find common cause

Lammy is going up in my opinion, all be it right from the bottom of the barrel, it’s almost Churchillean, a terrific reply, it might have been written for him of course.

    Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner

Ms Rayner has been openly critical of Mr Trump on multiple occasions in posts shared on X.

During the Capitol Hill riots in 2021, she tweeted: “The violence that Donald Trump has unleashed is terrifying, and the Republicans who stood by him have blood on their hands.”

Later that same month, following Joe Biden’s inauguration as president, Ms Rayner expressed her relief and optimism, writing: “I am so happy to see the back of Donald Trump, but even more so to see @KamalaHarris as VP.”

    Health Secretary Wes Streeting

In 2017, Mr Streeting called Trump an “odious, sad little man” in a post on X.

“Imagine being proud to have that as your president,” he added.

Asked about this in November 2024, the health secretary told Good Morning Britain: “The prime minister and the foreign secretary have been working hard to build a relationship with President Trump and his team, so that in the event that he is elected as the next president of the United States, we start with the strong working relationship which is in our national interest and in the interests of the United States as well.”

    Energy Secretary Ed Miliband

Mr Miliband labelled Mr Trump a “groper” and a “racist” in November 2016.

“The idea that we have shared values with a racist, misogynistic, self-confessed groper beggars belief,” Mr Miliband told the BBC.

“And I think we should be deeply worried about the implications for many of the things that we care about. Tackling climate change — he says it’s invented by the Chinese, climate change, it’s a hoax. His attitude to Russia.

“And then this fantasy about trade. I mean, this guy is anti-trade. He’s an odd combination of protectionism, plus the old trickle-down formula that has got us into a lot of this mess in the first place.”

BBC Continuity isn’t as good as it was in the past. Diction is poor, too. Joanna Hardy-Susskind is a Defence Barrister presenting the current post-TWatO filler at 1.45 p.m.. Continuity’s poor diction usually announces her name as Joanna Hardy-Siskind not Joanna Hardy-Susskind. A siskind is a bird, a different sort of bird to Joanna. 😉

BBC presenters and their contributors are just as bad. Routinely they pronounce deecades as deck-aids. I reckon deck-aids are sun loungers and quoits and deck chess or for the more active, some deck volleyball on a suitably calm, windless day.

    Moan over. 🙂

DJT / TTK press conference – on radio – TTK sounded as though he’d taken some pharmaceutical help and didn’t have control of himself – or maybe it the fear that DJT would read back to him some of the things he and the other Marxists had said of him in the recent past ….

I got the impression the US press had no interest in TTK or Britain – and rightly so …. Empty promises about UK military policing a buffer zone between Russia and Ukraine – really ?

BBC issues a grovelling apology over ‘propaganda’ Gaza documentary and says boy’s father IS Hamas leader and WAS paid for featuring.

The BBC has issued a grovelling apology following a controversial documentary about Gaza which was narrated by the son of a senior Hamas leader.

In a statement the corporation acknowledged ‘serious flaws in the making of the programme’ which cost more than £400,000 to produce.

Controversy around ‘Gaza: How To Survive A Warzone’ forced the BBC to issue an apology and pull the programme from iPlayer last week.

The row then spilled on to the streets of the capital on Tuesday evening as anti-Hamas protesters arrived outside the BBC’s headquarters at Broadcasting House.

Now, in an update from the BBC, it has confirmed that Abdullah al-Yazouri’s father was Ayman al-Yazouri, a Deputy Agriculture Minister in the Hamas Government, and that his mother was given a ‘limited sum of money for the narration’.

According tonight’s statement, the London-based Hoyo Films – the independent production company made the documentary – failed to tell the BBC on multiple occasions about potential connections the narrator and his family might have with Hamas.

They only acknowledged that they knew about the connection after transmission.

Whilst the BBC stressed the production company was independent, they accepted that ‘the processes and execution of this programme fell short of our expectations

BBC front page headline for the Starmer visit:
‘After a meeting in the White House, Trump calls Starmer a ‘tough negotiator’ adding ‘He earned whatever the hell they pay him over there’.

    What Trump really said:
‘Finally, Trump is asked whether he has been persuaded by Starmer not to put tariffs on the UK.’
‘Trump jokes that Starmer tried: “He was working hard… he earned whatever the hell they pay him over there.”‘

So not quite the ‘statesman’ you tried to infer at all then BBC. In fact, that sounds a lot like Starmer was desperately begging to me.

Lets look at the other ‘statesmanlike’ quote from TTK:
‘Keir Starmer said “everything” must be done to ensure the ceasefire continues.’
    Meaningless shit.
Trump started his speech with a nod to the “special relationship” between the two countries, something Starmer says “matters more than ever”
    More meaningless shit.
‘Starmer then responds to a question about whether Vladimir Putin is trustworthy.’
‘He says that his views on the Russian president are well-known, and describes how his concern is that if there is a deal it must be lasting, not a temporary measure.’
    Even more meaningless shit.

The whole article is desperate in it’s attempt to paint Starmer in a good light. I can’t even begin to imagine how they would have framed Boris in a a report like this.

And the bit which REALLY showed what Trump thinks of Starmer:
At one point, Starmer was asked about Trump’s controversial call to make Canada – a member of the Commonwealth – the 51st state of the US.

‘“I think you’re trying to find a divide that doesn’t exist,” Starmer replied.’
‘Trump interjected quickly with the words “that’s enough” before moving on – again taking control of the room.’

They pick up all the compliments Trump gives Starmer as if they are special mentions. Trump does this for EVERYONE : he’s the businessman buttering up ‘customers’. He even did it for Kim Jon g Un and he does it for Putin.

And of course the far-Left in our media cannot help themselves from embarassing our country:

‘ITV’s Robert Peston asks Trump if he will apologise to Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky for calling him a “dictator” while praising Putin.’
Just watch this arrogant, grandstanding prick ask his question:

Watching that video reminds me of some meetings I attended when working at BAE Systems. I would quickly recognise people like Starmer as the sort of manager who was utterly useless but had been with the company for years, spoke nothing but meaningless platitudes and always sucked up to others as weak as him – who then promoted him because he posed no threat to them.

Starmer is a fish out of water : he has no business being PM. Every minute he is in that job he is damaging the country because someone who should be there isn’t.

BBC review finds ‘serious flaws’ over Gaza documentary
The BBC has apologised and admitted “serious flaws” in the making of a documentary about children’s lives in Gaza.
The documentary, Gaza: How to Survive a War Zone, was pulled from iPlayer last week after it emerged its 13-year-old narrator was the son of a Hamas official.

Personally I don’t buy it. They knew what they were doing all along and let it run hoping they could away with it.

Stuff – by accident – design – co incidence – whatever – Israel has released a report on the intelligence failings of October 7 – plus the failure to respond quickly and forcefully enough …

….. I’ve read a lot of such ‘after event ‘ type reports – with plenty of recommendations but not so much in real change to prevent a re occurrence…

The conspiracy theorists say that Israeli intelligence was too good not to the attack coming and it was allowed to happen in order to give Israel the excuse to ‘do ‘ Gaza … now I have a pretty jaundiced view of the world but I really can’t see Israeli military / politicians accepting the widespread slaughter of Israelis as a price to enable Gaza / Hamas to be destroyed …

The conspiracy theory is supported by the finding that it took 2 days before Israel could declare the Muslim vermin had been purged from Israeli territory – as well as an awful slow response in those first hours of slaughter ….

I don’t think the IDF report .will get much attention because so much other stuff is going on .

Meanwhile – keep going IDF … flatten the ground for Disneyland Gaza …
