Headline on the Beeb’s webshite – “Trump has turned his back on the foundation of US economic might – the fallout will be messy.”

Funnily enough they’ve got his completely wrong as the US built its economic might during its first two centuries by using tariffs. BBC – always wrong, especially when it comes to the Donald.

Thinking about the two MPs – can’t they cross into Gaza from Egypt? (the barbed wire seems to be only on the inside….)

Reckon Hamas could bring them through a tunnel if necessary?

Eylon Levy, a former Israeli government spokesman, references a 2018 i24NEWS scoop revealing Jeremy Corbyn’s undeclared 2010 trip to Israel, where he met Hamas officials with the Middle East Monitor, violating parliamentary rules.

Corbyn’s trip, funded by Friends of Al-Aqsa and Middle East Monitor, involved meetings with Hamas parliamentarians, drawing criticism from Labour Friends of Israel for engaging with a group responsible for terrorist attacks.

    In Oz
In a brave election promise, the Australian Labor Party want poor people to help pay for batteries for rich Australians.

The discount battery deals will only be suitable for people wealthy enough to own a home with solar panels, and who happen to have ten thousand dollars sitting around that they don’t want to use or expect any return on for nearly a decade. There can’t be too many of those.

The true cost of home batteries is about $13,000, so the $4,000 discount still leaves a big bill. And the savings for electricity bills are estimated to be around $1,100 per household each year. So no one comes out ahead for nine or ten years, and that’s assuming their battery is still useful at age ten or eleven, and their house hasn’t caught fire

US judge scolds Trump officials for failing to return man deported in error
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn4jz3v401yo

This is front page world news on the BBC. Because it’s more of their personal political agenda against Trump deporting gang members.

Another ridiculously long article which does their usual trick of starting with a complete non-story like this then proceeds to repeat the same rhetoric they have used in several previous articles. In this way they can keep an agenda story current for months or even years in the case of career-criminal drug dealer Floyd.

And of course the Judge is another Democrat. Appointed by Obama. Something the BBC do not tell us. Again.

Which is odd because the author ‘Max Matza’ is very quick to tell us in the headline when it suits him:
‘Democratic-backed judge wins Wisconsin race in setback for Elon Musk’

    Evidence edition

“Don’t come into my face unless you’ve got evidence” – no that’s got nothing to do with: ‘Covid criminals’ still dragged to courts… Five years after the first lockdown people are still being taken to court over Covid breaches (Times) – is there in fact any ‘evidence’ that Lockdowns were at all efficacious? If only we had a well-funded judge-led officially constituted currently sitting national public inquiry that could look into that.

The PM will allow drivers to buy petrol and diesel vehicles till 2035 – a five year extention (The Sun) – well that’s big of him.

Government will move towards a more interventionist state… (i paper) – and that’s likely to be the problem right there.

How about the state deals with stuff like law and order, patrolling the national borders and defence? Leave the economics to business.

How’s government doing on that basic defence of the realm stuff?

And the Sun says the planes of Britain’s Red Arrows aerial display team may be traded in for Russian-designed M-346’s, sparking “RAF fury” (BBC)

But if you thought those Ukriane war issues were controversial – I’ll raise you the Gaza war…

Splits over war in Gaza ‘a national security risk’… Young British Muslims are growing more disillusioned… (Times)

Gosh, I wonder who could be stirring them up?

IDF ‘razed Gaza border land to create kill zone’ (Guardian); Israel changes account of Gaza medic killings after video showed deadly attack (BBC); Anger after MPs refused entry to Israel (Guardian); Abtisam Mohamed and Yuan Yang have now left the country… Both Yang and Mohamed – who were first elected in 2024 – have made several interventions on the Israel-Hamas conflict in Parliament… Mohamed initiated a cross-party letter, signed by 61 MPs and lords, calling for a ban on goods from Israeli settlements… Yang spoke in favour of bringing sanctions against Israeli ministers (BBC)

The Usual Suspects is a 1995 American crime thriller film… The plot follows the interrogation of Roger “Verbal” Kint, a small-time con man… Kint tells an interrogator a convoluted story of events that led him and his criminal companions to the boat, and of a mysterious crime lord—known as Keyser Söze—who controlled them.

So why can’t we all just be nice to one another?

    Words can be very… hurty…

Anger at chants… Pep Guardiola accused Manchester United fans of “lacking class” and said they should be ashamed after derogatory chants toward City’s Phil Foden (The formerly serious Times)

In case you were wondering what the mainly female interest Times (Can someone get my dog to behave? Carol Midgley) is pussy footing around…

Sections of the United home support could be heard labelling Foden’s mother, Claire Rowlands, 44, a ‘s**g’ (Daily Mail)

    Sins of the mothers

Foden’s mother came into the public eye in January 2024 after footage was released of her being put in handcuffs and thrown out of a Welsh nightclub after knocking a hat from a fellow partygoer’s head. The 52-second clip, shown in court, showed Rowlands aggressively confronting police officers who were called to the scene. Challenging the officers, she said: ‘Go on then, what’ve I done? Don’t come into my face unless you’ve got evidence.’… Rowlands was cleared of assault but fined for her behaviour after she admitted to police: ‘I do not drink often but when I do, I make up for time. I am like an animal.’… Foden was targeted during a drab Manchester derby that ended goalless at Old Trafford (Daily Mail)

More football results, I’m afraid… and the best headline of the day

Kop flop… Saints drop (Sun) – frankly, with those awful pink away shirts of theirs’, Southampton deserve relegation.

I plead guilty to going bigly off piste – but I listened to the n17 spurs v Southampton game – I like Southampton – fans are more friendly than most and it’s a good ground for away supporters – 77 brigade to note .

But they now hold the record for the fastest relegation from the prem ever . Only won 1 game all season …. And their first prem manager was a fruit loop called Russell Martin . he was woke personified – a lefty Green Buddhist vegan footballer – I mean – really ?

      • Rich says:

Russell Martin has managed three clubs winning, according to wiki, just under 40% of his games in charge.

Despite losing nearly as many games with each team as he won he seemingly ‘failed upwards’ each time he changed clubs moving from MK Dons to Swansea to Southampton over a period of about four years.

Despite his tactics failing more often than not he refused to change the way his teams played, hence the “fastest relegation ever”.

With Martin’s credentials, both personal and professional, surely a career in Politics is his obvious next step?

Row as Badenoch backs Israel barring two UK MPs
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/czjn3071yv3o

This is clearly a high-agenda topic for the BBC : they are running daily articles to make it as big as possible because they WANT those extreme-Left activists to get into Israel and spread their hate.

‘Badenoch told the BBC that Israel had a right to “control its borders”, adding it was “very significant” there were Labour MPs other countries did not want to let in.’
‘Foreign Secretary David Lammy said her comments were “disgraceful”, while Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey said she had shown “unbelievably poor judgement”.’

But all I have is complete disgust at the BBC, the racist Lammy and the idiot Ed Davey for their gross hypocrisy and double standards.

They didn’t start complaining when the Left tried to block the democratically elected President of the USA coming here in another fit of their hate and spte during Trumps first term.

      That is all untrue.

The men seen running and jumping barriers were the armed police. Menezes bought a ticket, walked on to the train, and sat down. He was killed without warning due to police incompetence. No blame should be attached to the officers who shot him, they were told he was a bomber. The blame lies with higher command, such as the useless Cressida Dick.

Mick – im sure there was a documentary about this recently where the firearms guys gave an account of what really happened
And I think – in the circumstances of the time – any viewer wouid feel sorrow for both the illegal and the shooters .

Afterward the far left bigged it up – particularly after the commissioner – the lefty Blair – lied about what happened ….

If it happened again now those cops would be charged with murder and convicted by a TTK court ….

In a way – though – it shows how far the likes of the BBC have to go to find a ‘cause ‘ – otherwise they get an American criminal to ‘celebrate ‘…

      Morning Fed,

You’ve got me thinking now; I remember reading that the facts were muddied and confused. I’d stand by the police actions though; if he had acted with evil intent, and many innocents had lost their lives, how would the police explain their lack of action? Now of course, it wouldn’t happen as it did back then, as now it would be career-ending for the officers either way.

Mick – the Brazilian acted normally … but he’d already been caste ( group think in fast time ) with being the next suicide bomber on the tube . There was also a mix of surveillance and plain clothes firearms types at the scene .

The armed firearms officers – 2 shooting – I recall – had the disciple to carry out the agreed method of dealing with a suspected Islamic suicide bomber via multiple head shots . They deserved medals – I don’t know if they got them …

Anyone carrying a firearm now must -hopefully – really thought through the physical and legal risk …. Especially since one has already been sacrificed to the legal mafia – although it was before the current political courts – judges – listings offices – juries – department of injustice – alien attorney general – corrupt CPS – corrupt TTK lawyers …particularly the now inferior KCs …

The problem with this is the Far Left using the event to cover the real threat of Islamic terrorism ..

Many on here have pointed out the huge number of times the bbbc have made an ‘error’ and some time later they make a correction hidden away, after they have got their message out.

It’s always an ‘error’ which serves the bbbc politics (we all know how they think) but I was wondering, has the bbbc ever had to make a correction to their thousands of ‘errors’ this century which has favoured those the bbbc are against.

Have they ever wrongly praised Trump, supported Israel against the terrorists, given Farage/Reform/The Right credit when it wasn’t the case, condemned Labour/libdems/greens for something but were incorrect.
You know what I mean, basically, all their ‘errors’ go only one way.

    Here’s the challenge.
Can anybody give just one example, starting on the year 2000, of a bbbc ‘error’ which has been a positive for the Right.

    I can’t think of one.

As it happens, I have read the book this episode was based on. The “Mr Big” was a villainous Albanian gangster who controls organised crime in Brighton. I wondered how the wokesters would deal with that one.

I needn’t have worried. ITV simply made the Albanian villain English! Job done. The Albanian characters were merely oppressed immigrants forced to do bad things by Mr Big. Immigrants are good, hard working people, who would be a credit to society if they were not exploited by white British criminals.
