Come on Scrobie, where are you. Time to get four in a row and then go for five. 🙂

If you don’t get here in ten minutes, I will be forced to post something!

The BBC are truly obnoxious, believing everything a Palestinian or Hamas tells them and happily promoting hatred of Jews and the IDF at Glastonbury. Then there is Greg Wallace, Huw Edwards and Jimmy Saville to add into the BBC obnoxious mix!

Just what has happened to the ghastly man who takes Bob Dylan’s name in vain? The man who called for the death of the Israeli army? As I don’t watch the BBC , maybe I missed it? Have the police decided to prosecute him for a hate crime or are they still looking into it?

They’ve got enough evidence Debs, after all, the bBC had four hundred ‘staff’ there, including all the knobs, so surely it’s a foregone conclusion that this vile creature is given at least the amount of time that Lucy Connolly was chucked at, in TTK’s maelstrom of two-tier ‘justice’, and hopefully there’ll be a lot more to charge him with!

Perhaps Davie is away on holiday…

I’ve just finished watching Dr Zhivago.
All the way through I couldn’t help thinking of comparisons with this current government and the left who took over Russia after the revolution.

So many situations where there are parallels with TTK and his far left party.

It’s not quite 1984 accurate but things like him being told his poems are “not liked” (not approved by the State, something like tweets the left don’t agree with)

The lefties are always going on about being kind and compassionate, refugees welcome/Gaza type of stuff but in history, the left have been responsible for many many millions of deaths and unimaginable horrors on ‘the little people’
The ‘Far Right” are rank amateurs, Conference League compared to Premier League, when it comes to human suffering.

I’m dreading what the next 4 years of this awful government will bring. Every day they keep coming out with more bizarre far left crackpot rules, laws and regulations and nobody can stop them.
You think they can’t be any worse yet every day they prove they can.

    Everything they do is horrendous.

GBNews reporting eye tests for over 70s to keep their driving licenses. On the one hand sensible but it has been talked about for years. On the other hand aren’t these eye tests at 70 to keep us in line with the EU?

    • atlas_shrugged says:

The eye-test for over 70’s drivers is hiding all the other reasons for road casualties not continuing to fall after 2010.

Many accidents happen at dangerous junctions and with more cars on the road so more accidents. MORE BOATS = MORE CARS.

In many areas some 20 or 50% of drivers are driving around without car insurance. Take the illegal migrant from Iran driving without insurance on a provisional licence on the A1 who took out his car and 10 other police cars in a multi-car crash. MORE 3rd WORLD DRIVERS = MORE CRASHES.

The are are often multiple reasons for a crash but our legal system with scumbag lawyers just wants to find one person to blame ignoring the other reasons. One court case I attended was an old lady who had moved off at a junction while sight was blocked by a van in front, so nudging an oncoming van which then mounted the pavement killing a baby and putting the mother in hospital for a year. A later diagnosis of dementia then avoided a charge of death by dangerous driving. It was never disclosed by the media that two witnesses in the court case had independently said “I hate this junction it is really dangerous”. DANGEROUS JUNCTIONS ARE NEVER FIXED = EASIER TO BLAME GRANNY

The Welsh experiment with 20 mph limits has not succeeded in reducing fatal accidents. MORE 20 MPH LIMITS = MORE MONEY FOR CIVIL SERPENTS AND LAWYERS.

Give a whole nation a gene therapy poison so that footballers can be seen to collapse on the field and lo and behold there will be a truck load of zombie drivers leaving the road and causing crashes. This is a big one being covered up especially by coroners who could do their job. MORE POISON = MORE CRASHES.

Rant over – sorry I got triggered.

The BBC report ovewhelmingly infers they were just innocent ‘free press’ and Israel murdered them.

Perhaps some reference to these documents they found last year would have been the responsible thing to report:

‘Captured Documents Show Al Jazeera Ties to Hamas, Islamic Jihad’
https://www.fdd.org/analysis/policy_briefs/2024/10/29/captured-documents-show-al-jazeera-ties-to-hamas-islamic-jihad/'The captured documents show that Anas al-Sharif, Hussam Shabat, Ashraf Saraj, and Ismail Abu Omar belong to Hamas, while Alaa Salama and Talal Aruki are part of PIJ.’

The BBC know this full well of course, so they can’t use their direct ‘without providing evidence’ line. So they use their latest dirty trick – ‘the lie by quotation’:

Jodie Ginsberg, chief executive of the CPJ, told the BBC that Israeli authorities have failed to provide evidence to show that the journalists they killed were terrorists.’

    Dinghy days out edition

Fourth summer heatwave to begin, with temperatures surging to 34C (BBC)

Heatwaves? That’s what we used to term a sunny spell.

And now we’re counting them. Four so far this summer. The next step will be naming them.

Warm air will be drawn up from the south thanks to the interaction between high pressure drifting across the south of the UK and an area of low pressure – containing remnants of Tropical Storm Dexter – in the Atlantic. (BBC) – I hope you’re all taking notes, there’ll probably soon be a compulsory climatology quiz introduced to check if you can keep your diving licence.

Since it’s logically appropriate that the Irish Republic gets to name our rain storms – it would seem to be ideal if the Jamaican Met Office christens our heatwaves – “Yeh mon!”

They should kick off with Heatwave Windrush – obviously.
Then we could enjoy Sunny Spell SplifScorcher Rasta… and Bright Patch Rude Boy – then they’ll probably take the rest of the summer off and go chill at the beach.

Careful now, Mr AsI: Adidas designer sorry for shoes ‘appropriated’ from Mexico… The Oaxaca Slip-On was inspired by traditional leather sandals known as huaraches made by Indigenous artisans in Mexico. (BBC)

Now I’m going to have to throw out my moccasin-style slippers so as mot to offend native American tribes. Mind you, what’s with all these Chinese, Indian and Vietnamese factories making English ‘Oxfords’ and ‘Derbys’?

I guess ideally we should dream of a world where everyone is wearing their own shoes.

Meanwhile, promoted frontpage in prime advertising spots in the Mirror and the freebie giveaway Metro: Walkers Crisps are still proud to announce: Masala Cricken & Sticky Teriyaki “Better than Cheese & Onion… 1 in 2 people agree, do you?” – presumably no fear of cultural appropriation there, then?

Sometimes I wonder whether BBC editors read their own headlines? They certainly seem blind to the irony of this one… given current news events…

Record warm seas help to bring extraordinary new species to UK waters (BBC)

Let’s give them a hint, so they can join the dots, shall we?

They’ve buried it way down near the bottom of the BBC print press pile care of their online news pages – on the front cover of The Sun: Asylum perks scandal… Dinghy migrants get dinghy days out… Discounts on the taxpayer… discount card intended for low-earning families in Rotherham to bag boat trips… subsidised… gym, cinema, transport and even massages

    Rotherham – of all places?

The junior poundshop Guardian that is the i paper (“Still only £1”) – watch that frontpage claim, ladies & gents hereabouts – the Express once boasted of being “United with the people of Ukraine” – and we imagined that was for all time but then they quietly dropped the slogan. But I digress.

The quid pro-woke paper has a deeply hypochondriac editorial stance and today complains: Pregnant women and heart patients among 12.9 million denied winter Covid jabs (i paper)

Covid jabs? They’re still flogging that dead horse?

6.9 million people in “clinical risk” groups such as pregnant women and people with chronic heart and liver disease will also be excluded for the first time – although only 23 per cent of them took up the offer last year. – admits MSN

If only there were a well-funded, judge-led, officially constituted public inquiry that could look that…

Spending £200m on the Covid inquiry is symbolic of Britain’s failure… It’s not making so many headlines nowadays but the overblown, overlong, and absurdly expensive Covid-19 inquiry rumbles on… It stands as one of so many symbols of the failure of the British state. A bureaucratic, lawyer-driven, backwards-looking, largely pointless exercise put in place for reasons that already seem lost in the mists of time but with an unstoppable momentum of its own. – this was Paul Johnson writing back in February 2025 – anyone heard anything useful from this elaborate three ring fully-lawyered up circus since?

Among its many “modules” is module 9, looking at the economic response. This is under way. To what purpose? The chances are minimal that we will face an adequately similar set of circumstances soon enough that anyone will remember or refer to these findings. Why anyone thinks a judge-led inquiry is the right basis for determining economic policy is beyond me.

The size of the UK government, measured by spending as a share of GDP, has fluctuated over the years, particularly in recent times. It remained relatively stable around 40% of national income between the mid-1950s and the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it spiked during the pandemic, reaching 53.1% of GDP in 2020-21, and has since lingered at a higher level than pre-pandemic.

Another day another lie from Starmer. He certainly has Harold Wilson’s renowned lips, the ones that moved whenever he lied.

In Britain today the tax payer pays through the nose to support immigrants , legal and illegal , whilst our own people are unsupported. We pay a foreign country to take our territory off our hands , which they have no claim to, because of a spurious decision by some international court which has No jurisdiction on the issue.
Everyone will be able to supply many more examples of the upside down country in which we live where undeserving foreigners are treated better than deserving Brits.
The only upside in this is that Labour is taking the ideas and ideology of woke liberalism to such an extreme that they are not just destroying their own chances of ever being in government again but also those of slightly less nutty wings of the Uniparty.

I hope that they are also providing Farage and Reform with the political space to become a bit more Trumpian as liberalism becomes increasingly discredited. Twenty first centuryLiberalism is a dying brand , Reform needs to begin to distance itself from it.

One reasons why there’s so much liberalism/leftism is that the lessons of the 1960’s/1970’s have been forgotten and not learned by the young or taught. Anyone older will remember the inflation, the winter of discontent, Unions thinking they could ruled the country.

Those white middle class older lefties don’t fit the theory but they were brought up on the love and peace 60’s idealism.

Torture is when a public official intentionally inflicts on a person physical or mental severe pain for the purpose of obtaining a particular result. This could e.g. be to obtain information or a confession or to suppress and intimidate. Regrettably, the list of methods of torture is long, including i.a. physical torture such as waterboarding, beating, electric shock and rape or psychological torture such as isolation, threats and mock executions.”

    https://dignity.dk/en/facts-about-torture

If you constantly feel the walls are being forced to close in on you for a multitude of reasons, that’s torture.

In the UK (and many parts of Europe), Governments/EU are rapidly churning out ill thought out legislation without a thought for the consequences, good or bad. I call it ‘dicing and slicing’ the public. Online Harms? Who would have thought that using a VPN would circumvent the Act?

Next up? well the Governments articulated desire to cull the elder driver. On our “Worlds Most Trusted” R4 ‘Westminster Hour’ yesterday evening the so-called debate became one of extolling the virtues of “reducing the number of accidents” on UK roads. An advertisement for selling something. No mention whatever of the ‘Elephant in the Room’. Which is, the number of accidents involving non-insured drivers.

Re eye tests for 70 year olds.
Back in the day, the Reported Road Casualties in Great Britain was published as a 200 plus page book, which could be downloaded as a pdf.
This enabled quick searching and skimming.
This revealed too much info. Now they have a ‘helpful’ online version. This focuses not on what you want to know but on what they want to tell you. Spreadsheets are hidden in data files my iPad cannot open. Road safety policy has to be seen in these terms.
For example, only 5% of road accidents are caused by exceeding the speed limit. Around 200 deaths a year are apparently caused or partly caused in this way. Yet 2 million speeding tickets are issued. Nearly 2 million people a year are criminalised for no reason. And most failed an arbitrary speed limit put in place by an activist anti-car official or a useless Highways Agency office worker who forgot to cancel the ‘smart motorway’ temporary limit.
One of the biggest causes of accidents is pedestrians failing to look. Yes, they just walk out in front of a vehicle without looking. They really do. In large numbers. It is never mentioned. I’ve seen women pushing prams in front of them across pelican crossings without even glancing at the traffic to make sure it is stopping. Set against this, the over 70 s are barely any problem at all. For the under 24s it is a different matter. Showing off to your friends after a few beers shortly after passing your driving test. Now that is dangerous.
I’ve said it before but section 39 of the Road Safety Act is to blame. It gives public officials carts blanche to ‘reduce accidents’ in perpetuity. The bus lanes, unused cycle lanes, 20 mph limits and enormous traffic jams are testament to a giant job creation and retention policy masquerading as a safety initiative.
10 mph speed limits on motorways. That is the ultimate destination of their reductio ad absurdam policies. Or better still, a man with a big red flag walking in front of your car to warn people of its imminent arrival.
It was all the rage…….in 1865.

When the question of guilt is more: a hospital with over promoted staff, a distracted TV doctor, useless immigrant staff, an unhygienic environment, and an indigenous woman offered up as a scapegoat.
FINALLY using the hopeless criminal justice system to close the episode
In other words it strongly looks like she’s the victim of a wholly dystopian country, that has an institutional hatred of it’s citizens; not just a branch of the judiciary of it getting it wrong.

Emails disclosed in the US by Congressman Jim Jordan, chair of the House Judiciary Committee, as part of an investigation into British Government censorship operations, reveal that officials within the British National Security and Online Information Team (NSOIT) have been implicated in efforts to suppress online criticism of the British Government’s pro-mass immigration policy, multiculturalism and its two-tier policing policy. Conservative MP David Davis was among several public figures cited as ‘critical of the Government’.

Secret messages released by the US House Judiciary Committee show the British State warn of ‘significant volumes of anti-immigrant content’ as well as ‘concerning narratives about the police, a “two-tier” system and people who refer to asylum seekers as ‘undocumented fighting age males’. However NSOIT is not authorised by an act of Parliament and has no formal judicial or law enforcement function.

US officials believe that GCHQ was under orders from Ken (Duggie) McCallum of the Marxist Idiots section 5 (MI5) to assist the National Security and Online Information Team (NSOIT), and the Defence and Security Media Advisory Committee (DSMA) to use D Notices to censor information on behalf of the Office For Censorship Obedience & Manipulation (OFCOM), as well the 77th Brigade Domestic Psyops Team, and the Cabinet Office Behavioural Insights Team (BIT).

This was so that the “National Security and Online Information Team” (NSOIT), could stop ‘Online harms’ to the “Respected And Trusted” (RAT) British Government, inflicted by voters who protest against the British governments support for, and the housing in hotels of thousands of ‘non-Russian undocumented fighting age males’. An invasion of Britain supported by traitors within the RNLI and Royal Navy.

The British Government says that its enemies are patriotic white British people, Russians and the vaccine injured.

Listening to Times Radio….independent councillor from Bolton talking about HMO’s…..they’re suddenly appearing overnight…people wake up and find 3, 4, 5 or 6 migrants in the house next door. You can apparently convert a 6 bed with little paperwork to an HMO….all bills paid of course.

This is ‘Operation Scatter’, yep, that really is the government name for this, where illegals are taken out of hotels and scattered across the country in an attempt to hide them…the BBC being a useful tool to try and pull the wool over our eyes telling us hotels are being closed and migrants housed…without saying where and what the consequences are.

The councillor stated that Serco said it had a target of 1% of any community to be illegals. Quite a big number to be imposed upon you…and all done in secret with no chance to raise any objections.

The governmet’s plan is apparently not to stop the boats or smash the gangs but to cover up as much as possible, con us into believing there’s no problem and these illegals just magically disappear….and failing that lock up or harass and intimdate anyone who dares to ask awkward questions….witness the guy who had police officer appear at his door because the council had, somehow, learnt he intended to take part in a protest about migrant hotels…just a little bit on the sinister, Stasi side of things.

You have to wonder how long it will take the BBC to eventually see which way the wind is blowing and that all this smoke and mirrors isn’t working and then start actually doing some investigating and reporting instead of being the government mouthpiece.

BBC is once again attempting to stridently assert its own belief that Lucy Letby is unquestionably guilty with no shadow of doubt.

Here’s a line that gives away the BBC view…

‘Letby was found guilty of 15 counts of murder and attempted murder, and the jury in her original trial reached unanimous verdicts on three of those cases. That is a good indication of where the strongest medical evidence might lie.’

So the jury found her guilty in many cases….a good indication of guilt?

However in the Telegraph we learn that the judge allowed a conviction to inform the decison of the jury in other cases…ie Letby was guilty of a death thus it shows she did the others….and on top of that the jury did not have to be sure how Letby killed any baby just that they must be sure she had….erm…how is that possible?….

I noted in Letby’s trial that Mr Justice Goss also allowed something called cross admissibility of evidence, meaning that if the jury found Letby guilty of one of the counts then they could use that as evidence to inform their decisions for the other counts. He also instructed the jury that they did not need to be sure precisely how Letby had killed or harmed babies as long as they were sure she had.’

The BBC must know that their absolutism is on shakey ground and that there are serious and credible questions to be asked about this case….whilst still asserting Letby is guilty they are starting to hedge their bets…

ChatGPT: How many non-disclosure agreements (NDA’s) have the British Labour Party used?

ChatGPT said: Unfortunately, there is no publicly available data or official count indicating the exact number of NDAs that the party has used over time. What we do know is that the party attempted to make two former staffers—Laura Murray (head of complaints) and Georgie Robertson (press officer)—sign a settlement that included a broad confidentiality clause when they made sexual harassment complaints. These individuals refused to sign and left without payouts. Another case involved Sam Matthews, Labour’s former head of disputes, who had signed an NDA in July of a previous year, which the party later relied on to potentially prevent him from speaking out. His legal team argued whistleblowing laws overrode the NDA. Beyond these high‑profile instances, there have been reports of former staff receiving “letters” from Labour’s lawyers reminding them of NDA obligations. However, these sources do not enumerate how many NDAs have been signed overall. So no comprehensive count or official record of all NDAs used by the Labour Party are publicly available, including those used to cover-up rape and the truth of the Almondbury Community School incident.

Gender-Bending chemicals, or what are called Endocrine-Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) are found in pesticides. Atrazine is a herbicide that can feminize males. Research conducted by the Environment Agency of England and Wales highlighted that a high proportion of male roach across English rivers exhibited feminised traits. In one study, 86% of sampled river sites showed intersex roach.

U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said “I think a lot of the problems we see in kids, particularly boys… it’s probably under-appreciated how much of that is coming from chemical exposures, including a lot of the sexual dysphoria that we’re seeing”

So like the vaccine injured, those men who show ‘Pride’ in being feminised by pesticides, or wave a rainbow flag in thanks to Atrazine, wont be able to sue chemical companies, even if they wanted too.
