Back in the olden days a few rich people became a lot richer because of the slave trade.

Now, political heavyweights like Lenny Henry say today’s black people should all be paid millions in reparations.

As most of the population in the UK in the ‘olden days’ were very poor themselves and didn’t make their fortune from the slave trade it is only reasonable that the likes of them lot in the House of Lords and those like them should pay reparations as they are the ones who gained from the slave trade.

Makes as much sense as anything else in these crazy times.

Sectarian clashes & race rows edition

Disregarding the bleedin’ obvious, our left-leaning politicians & media rack their brains for some explanatory motive for Jihad Al-Shamie to have murderously attacked a synagogue on the jewish holiday of yon kippur. The best they can come with are weaselly cover-all platitudes like ‘hate’ and ‘extremism’

I don’t know about you, but that attack tended to sound rather religously motivated, eh?

Mind you, rather than simply letting the story wither on the news vine – the left-leaning newspaper your Mr AsI tends to mock as having an anti-family stance in its feminist editorial outlook ventures an ‘Exclusive’ today on our Syrian-born adminsitratively British terrorist.

Synagogue terrorist had three wives before personal life ‘fell apart’ (i paper)

And if ever there were a cautionary tale warning our youth against matrimony, there it is folks. I jest of course.

How about that Syria? Any chance any of our Syrian-born guests over here might be thinking it’s safe to return home now everything appears hunky-dory over there?

    Syrian ‘knife’ talk… so soon?

Syria on ‘knife-edge’ The UN’s envoy to the country has warned that the slow pace of reform and sectarian clashes are undermining the fragile transition following the collapse of the Assad regime (FT) – Nah, thought not. ‘Sectarian clashes’, eh?

Mr AsI’s other diss on the i paper was as hypochondria-central. THE most prolonged covid-phobic editorial line out there.

    Get over it!

Demand for private Covid jabs spikes. Up to £100 for vaccine. (i paper)

Which is odd given the i paper’s target audience – although it professes to chase all demographics – it is frankly quite obviously youthful.

A nation of coffee snobs. I gave up flat whites for instant and save £3,000 a year (i paper) – to slighly misquote those shampoo ads “Here comes the maths bit…” I make that £8+ every day of the year.

Which saving will come in handy, luv. Cover price of the i paper being hiked by an official inflation number-busting 10% of late.

As typical target reader young female frequenter of expensive coffee shops gives up on the ‘flat whites’ our (former immigration minister under Rishi Sunak as the UK’s net migration numbers went ballistic) Robert Jenrick courts ‘white faces’

Jenrick defiant after sparking race row with ‘white face’ comments (i paper)

Cue the Mirror doing its impression of the Harlem Voice: Lawrence killer parole bid… Claims racist past behind him… but he abused female guard – remind me why we put female prison officers in men’s prisons?

The freebie giveaway Metro – financed by corporate advertising from companies that rather enjoy low labour costs – does a frontcover hit piece on Jenrick: No whites don’t make a wrong, Bob!

One has noticed when attempting to debate left-leaning friends and acquaintances – specifically those most on-message with the official leftist lines – they have a rather predictable tactic of argumentation. To wit: When one confronts them with a negative observation (a la Jenrick’s ‘no white faces’ remark) there’s an initial frontline defence of absolute flat (white?) denial…

‘Jenrick’s Handsworth comments are totally wrong’ “He’s totally wrong, I don’t know where he was looking but it’s definitely not here – not Handsworth”. That is business leader Bob Balu’s assessment of statements made about the Birmingham district, by shadow justice secretary Robert Jenrick… said he was out in the area on Tuesday and saw plenty of white people “old and new”. (BBC)

But then when one pushes the point, shows evidence and proves the case… well, next comes the second line of defence… a tacit conceeding of your point and a bold statement that there’s actually nothing wrong with it anyway. This is the final redoubt of the leftist argument.

No whites don’t make a wrong, Bob! (Metro)

Good old Gordon Brown , whose cool head saved the world from financial disaster……according to Alistair Darling ( his treasury sidekick) and of course Gordon himself…but so many of us remember him selling off 400 tons of gold from OUR reserves at $275 per ounce. The way Britain treats its homeless people is disgusting. One might ask why it has so many homeless people, given that we are frequently told it is the 6th richest country in the World. And even more disgusting: it chooses not to deal with this disgraceful state of affairs, but instead spends billions on housing invaders and migrants in hotels.

The BBC is carrying a report that 1,611 homeless people died last year, a new record high. It highlights the case of a man called Anthony Marks. Without in any way wanting to disparage or diminish this particular tragedy, even with this story the BBC cannot help itself and layers another level of propaganda in the story. Look at the photograph of the victim. There is something unusual, for very few homeless people are from ethnic minorities; this is one area in which they are very much under represented, given the demographics. Similarly with gender, relatively small numbers of women are homeless. Nevertheless, the BBC chooses this particular chap to illustrate the report. No shame at all.

High security a fact of life for UK Jewish community living in fear of attack
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cly09x107e8o

This article is an excellent example of why I detest the ethics and double-standards of the hypocrite Left.

The article is about Muslims murdering Jews. Period. Just imagine it was the Far-Right murdering Muslims. The words ‘Far-Right’ would be in the headline and all through the article. It would concentrate on THEM and their racist hate, not the Muslims trying to survive.

But the BBC don’t mention Muslims, Islam or the word racist even once. It’s as if the people who are killing them are like the wind. They have no form and cannot be seen. It’s all about what the Jews are doing to protect themselves.

They are no different from the Nazis. They just have to behave differently. But make no mistake : if they had the power to send everyone they don’t like into concentration camps, they would do it.

I would say the BBC need to take a long look in a mirror and consider how much their racist biased left-wing reporting from Gaza has inflamed the hate against Jews.

But I won’t. Because those behind the direction of the agenda at the BBC know already. They are absolutely typical nasty, spiteful, racist Lefties. They are driven by hate and don’t give a shit about anything or anyone because they think they are intellectually superior to everyone else and their ideology is the only one which matters.

But they have learned how far they can go and how they must write things to stay within the bounds of their charter. But the signs are clear for anyone who cares to look for them.

The BBC are running a story about a class action pollution lawsuit in Wales. Among others, a water company is in the firing line.
Now let me be the first to accept that river pollution is horrible. And the water companies are usually in the frame. But park that for now.
Here in West Londonistan a favoured route for housing among some, ahem, communities, is to buy a three bed semi and convert it into a 6 bed semi, sometimes by demolishing the original building (where does the money come from to do this?) With so many residents, a huge extension is built, sometimes with a separate building at the end of the garden, colloquially known as ‘sheds with beds’. I walked past such a property yesterday. They are very common.
Now such a household needs a lot of cars, so the front garden is concreted over. And the huge new house with all those big new roofs has down pipes running in to the water mains.

So a house that used to have maybe four occupants now has up to ten. They all have to have a s**** from time to time. And the rainwater which used to soak into the garden now goes down the same main drainage as built for the original housing estate.

The water authority thus now has to process a huge amount of extra drainage water. What happens when they cannot cope? They send it into the rivers, untreated.
Are we really saying the water companies should have miraculously planned for governments hell bent on mass immigration?
Or are the filthy rivers what Labour had in mind when we were patronised to ‘celebrate diversity and embrace multiculturalism’ ?

Five takeaways from Pam Bondi’s tense, partisan Senate hearing
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c75qpl70xvzo

‘Pam Bondi’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee was expected to be a contentious, partisan affair. It lived up to that billing.’

‘Two weeks ago, her justice department indicted former FBI Director James Comey, triggering an outcry from Democratic politicians.’

‘For most of the hearing, Democrats were the ones peppering Bondi with Epstein-related questions.’

And WTF is going on with these ‘Epstein files’ ?? – They had them when they were in office – why didn’t THEY release them ?. And more to the point, why aren’t the BBC pointing that out ?.

‘If Democrats were focused on what they view as the unprecedented weaponisation of the justice department under Trump, most of the Republican senators were more interested in fighting battles from the Biden presidency – or earlier.’

Jesus H Christ : After all the absolutely outrageous things the Democrats did against Trump and Republicans, it’s a bit rich to suddenly start using words like ‘partisan’ and ‘weaponise the justice system’ now. They kept very matter-of-fact while the Democrats did things like introduce special laws simply so they could prosecute Trump using them – including the ridiculous one where they cancelled a ‘statute of limitations’ so they could let someone they found accuse him of rape from long ago.

Just more of the same from the idiot Zurcher – one of the BBC’s finest and right up there with Bowen in terms of total, shameless bias.

It’s all so blatant and obvious, it proves all the ‘establishment’ approve because nobody says anything. All those that did got removed using the BBC’s ‘Live Update’ trick to bombard them with insignificant headlines blown up out of all proportion using anonymous civil servants or left-wing activists as sources and releasing them slowly with a new one every day until the pressure got so great, they had to resign.

Please someone rid us of this cancer called the BBC. It is destroying us from within : it’s lopsided agenda stories like this which have divided our society right down the middle. It’s like they WANT a civil war.

US President Joe Biden was found by a special counsel to have “wilfully retained and disclosed classified materials” but he will not face charges.

A Special Counsel report said he had kept secret documents related to military and foreign policy in Afghanistan after serving as vice-president until 2017.

But they said it would be difficult to convict Mr Biden as he comes across as an “elderly man with a poor memory”.”

How cruel it must be that an afghan rapist in jail cannot be easily visited by his friends and family. So logical solution – rent jail space where the convict comes from. Then at the end of sentence release them.

Taxpayer-funded PhD researcher was seen cutting down yellow ribbons commemorating Israeli hostages – she’ll be able to style herself “Doctor” at the end of her “research” £100k’s worth….

“bio/necropolitical” intersections between Palestine and the UK – she focuses on “haunting and the supernatural in Palestinian territories.”

Nadia Yahlom, an art student at the University of Westminster, was seen on Monday afternoon using scissors to cut the ribbons tied to railings near a north London synagogue. Yellow ribbons have become synonymous with the “Bring Them Home” campaign, which calls for the return of the hostages captured by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

On Monday, the day before the anniversary of the Hamas attack, Yahlom was filmed by residents in Muswell Hill as she removed the ribbons. When confronted she claimed she was not committing a crime and said the yellow ribbons hanging from the fence of the Pocket Park were “condoning genocide”.
Woman allegedly Nadia Yahalom-Switat holding yellow ribbons in Muswell Hill.

The Metropolitan Police said it was reviewing the video to determine if a hate crime or criminal damage had been committed.

Yahlom is an Arts Council-funded PhD student. Her research looks at “hauntedness, supernatural life” in Palestine and how it relates to historical and contemporary violence. A description of the PhD on a research website said it considers “how experiences, memories and tales of hauntings may be explored through participatory artistic practice”.

The research also examines the political relationship between Palestine and Britain, focusing on how “humans, artefacts and landscapes reverberate with colonial violence”. This is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), which receives more than £100 million a year from the public purse.
A woman identified as Nadia Yahalom-Switat wears a red embroidered top and blue jacket in a room filled with colorful art and decorations.

Yahlom is married to a film-maker born in the West Bank – Yahlom also founded Sarha Collective, a group specialising in “experimental art forms” from Palestine. She previously studied at the University of Cambridge and Goldsmiths.

Her husband is a Palestinian actor and film-maker who was born in the West Bank and moved to London in 2011, the Daily Mail reported.

In a statement, the Met said: “Officers attended the location and are reviewing the footage to determine whether any offences, including hate crime or criminal damage, have been committed. Enquiries remain ongoing.”

Residents returned Tuesday morning to replace the ribbons that had been cut down. Of the 251 hostages captured, 48 remain inside Gaza. The Israeli authorities estimate that 20 are still alive.

One of the excuses for unrestricted immigration is that we no longer achieve ‘replacement’ levels of fertility / childbirth.

That’s partly true: for decades, the atheistic liberal elites have denigrated the normal family, advocated all sorts of weird and unnatural pairings, promoted abortion, etc. So now, indeed, we no longer have enough babies. (Other ‘communities’ still do, however, and will eventually replace the indigenous inhabitants).

But in Russia (boo, hiss) they have other solutions: reduce abortion and encourage large families.

The project was reported to cost £532,000 and the DSIT published new brand guidelines for GOV.UK in June.

She told the Financial Times: “It is exactly the type of statement that has barred us from public life for 30 years.”

The Conservative Party said Ms Le Pen had failed to understand Mr Cameron’s speech, in which he called for less tolerance of extremism and an end to the doctrine of multiculturalism which encourages different communities to live separate lives.

Some commentators have accused him of lending legitimacy to the far right.

Cameron’s speech sought above all to occupy the political space to which the British far right aspires,

The speech was also condemned by Iranian newspapers, who interpreted it as an attack on Islam.
