Weekend 18th October 2025

Tricky times for the BbC – slaughter at a synagogue one week – Israeli football supporters banned the next week then the BBC had to apologise over a biased “Gaza documentary ‘ – and then there is President Trump -who the BbC hates – trying to put a muzzle on Islamic Hamas . Tricky for the Islamic BBC to even pretend to be neutral when those watching or listening to it know the truth . Dump that TV licence -please .

The BBC is losing money. It could try one of my suggestions. Create a proper Trust (not just the ‘BBC trust’ of old) and put the LF receipts into the Trust. Then it could invite donations from the actors and actresses that it has made wealthy (by paying them excessively) and put those in the proper Trust. Then it should invest the funds in stocks and shares. The Trustee Investment Act should be applied to the whole fund and the income used to supplement the LF and finance the BBC.

If not this, try defunding the BBC yourself by cancelling the Licence Fee in these straightened and inflationary times in which we are forced to live. Taxes may well be increased in the Budget thanks to Rachel from Accounts and her mismanagement of the economy.

Up2, disgrace I could have had a 3-1 record. I am gutted – but it will also teach me for finishing off a very nice Vina Ardanza Reserva 2019 too close to kick off.
As it is another step towards the demise of our marxist broadcaster. I just have enough left in the glass to wish the bBC ill-health and capitulation.

The News Quiz Radio 4 6.30pm repeated tomorrow 12.30 pm .

Where to start on this socialist sneering programme .?
Well if you want a laugh , not at the beginning. Or the middle .
At the end . The very end , when the credits for kidult bonding show are being read . Then you’ll do that Patricia Hewit and other lefty politicians fake half laugh ( 0.7 seconds ) when on the BBC discussing the opposition .

They of course managed to be rude about Nigel Farage in a totally non sequitur way . A real satire show would do a satire about this programme that purports to be a satire show obsessed about a politician that it doesn’t want the general public to like , but keeps bringing it up .

[ I know if you’re a leftie , you’ll say Nibor is obsessed with the obsessions of the BBC so called comedies. Not really. When I’m driving and GB News and Talk Radio aren’t available I monitor the BBC . Results so far ; it’s dire ] .

Not much on the BBCs so called satire programme about President Trump’ s victory in the Middle East, actually there was nothing . Five days and they couldn’t come up with anything, not even Keir Starmers Great Embarrassing Britain on a literal World Stage . Anything on the BBC about TTK not wanting to stomp about the world stage due to his faux pas, pledging money from the UK to anyone and every international organisation?

Oh BBC , have you ever satired the Green Party ?

THE BBC was reported to the police for possible terrorism offences after it admitted that Hoyo Films, the production company behind Gaza: How To Survive A War Zone, made payments to the family of the child narrator of the film despite knowing he was the son of a member of the Hamas government. He is also the grandson of a founder of Hamas. ‘

A BBC Screen writer and former BBC presenter regrets:

“Ten years ago I co-presented, with Prof Sir David Spiegelhalter and Dr (now Prof) Hannah Fry, a 90 minute documentary for BBC called “Climate Change by Numbers”. For reasons that will become clear in what follows below, both of my co-presenters have gone on to become major celebrities as television science presenters, while this was my first and last BBC appearance”.

“The programme was first screened on BBC 4 and has subsequently been screened several times on both BBC4 and BBC2. It won many awards and has been sold by the BBC to multiple TV networks worldwide…
    AWARD WINNING!: https://probabilityandlaw.blogspot.com/2015/11/bbc-documentary-co-presented-by-norman.html
    ….
There is a 2-minutes clip (that is still on the BBC website) from the Programme in which I describe how the IPCC got to its 95% figure for the certainty that “humans had caused at least half of the recent warming”
Although the BBC was not aware of it at the time I was (unlike Spiegelhalter and Fry) somewhat sceptical of the whole man-made climate change narrative. But I was naïve enough to believe that the producers would be open to the idea of allowing some challenge to the ‘accepted’ narrative being part of the programme….
    ….
Likewise, I was allowed to ask a couple of my own questions in a filmed interview with a climate science professor but these were also cut entirely from the final edit; one of the producers said this was because the professor was so unnerved by my questions that their subsequent performance was too ‘cranky’ to be used!

Unfortunately, the BBC had at the time made an internal decision to not allow sceptical views on climate change to be presented on any of its programmes since the ‘science was settled’. **This strategy was formally announced three years later ** As such none of the material in which I was recorded presenting a more nuanced approach to the numbers made it into the final programme. (!)

So ten years on I finally make a formal apology for my own role in being part of such a blatant, but influential, piece of climate change propaganda. But hopefully, by revealing -as an insider – the extent to which such propaganda propels the climate change hysteria can make a small dent in the relentless net zero agenda.

I’ll end with an anecdote about the making of the programme. It was Martin Neil who first alerted me to the most serious aspects of the corruption of climate change science – long before the making of the programme. So, he needs to take credit for influencing my sceptical stance.

    Radio 4, Friday 14:15-14:45.

Part two of a drama series about racism, populism and the Far Right. Based on real events, it’s set in southern Ireland.

There’s a female (of course!) Detective Sergeant in the Gardai called Louise Kenny. Her brother seems to have got involved in anti-migrant activities and also just plain looting of a shop. Can she continue to cover for him?

It’s clunky – that is, clumsily didactic and preachy. Even the trailers for the drama were telling you what to think with loaded language. The first 20 minutes were more or less straight-up propaganda, though there was more nuance in the final 10. I was going to switch off but persevered, in part to have something to contribute here.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cgqlyw9g7weo

And the BBC finally get another of their targets.

As much as I dislike this odious man, my own opinion is that he was strung up as part of the #metoo campaign which gave the worst of the feminist misandrists an outlet to vent their hate. BBC and the vile Maitliss most definitely included.

‘”In discussion with the King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” said a statement from Prince Andrew.’

This is EXACTLY how it works. The BBC have used their ‘live updated’ trick to get rid of many people they don’t like just like this. They run a headline – however small and dubious the source (‘The BBC has learned that …’ or ‘A source close to xx told the BBC that ..) to string front-page headlines out for days on end to keep the pressure on. After the pathetic non-headline for today, they would then repeat the entire story underneath.

I don’t recall it EVER being used to remove someone who was a Leftist.

Their biggest triumph of all was using it to remove a duly elected PM (Boris). They hated him because of Brexit.

I have no doubt they are researching right now for a campoaign against Farage. They are just waiting until he is weakened by something. This is why I believe he is keeping his head down.

Just look att this utter BBC empathy-porn nonsense. It’s embarassing that they think articles like this are ‘news’.

‘I have tortoises and a bird called Bico – a rose-ringed parakeet. When I speak to him he answers me back. He smiles with me.’

‘Luca, the cat, when I start crying, he comes to cry with me. I called him Luca because I got him by luck – I found him on the street, covered in insects.’

Using a pet for empathy like this is right down in the gutter of dirty tricks. The whole point of the article is to create empathy for the people of Gaza.

Who – the BBC fail to mention – overwhelmingly supported the terrorist massacre. This woman most likely included.

It’s another BBC work of fiction where what people actually said is thoroughly edited and reworded to the point of being fake. Just like their TV shows where they say ‘Based on a true story’. 10% True, 90% what the BBC extreme-Leftists want us to think.

Society going woke complaint (not BBC specifically).

Having got through 54% of the once-great Joe Abercrombies latest effort, last night whilst reading it in the bath I closed it because it is just woke shit.

His glory days brought us books about violent times in different realities where battles and gruesome tales filled the pages. A world where men were men and got chopped up in devilishly imaginative ways.

Then the woke brigade hit and he embraced it with open arms. All of sudden the heroes were women who beat men in fights and who were so clever, the men often complimented them on how much cleverer she was than them. It got nauseating.

But his latest goes one step too far and falls right off the cliff.

In this story, there are a group of people on a holy mission for something or other. It starts with a weak and lazy monk being summoned to the Pope. Who is a woman of course. But more than that : she is a young girl. But brilliant beyond her years of course.

He is told of his job to lead a bunch of ‘heroes’ on a mission by the second-in-command. Another woman.

The mission is to escort the young true princess of somewhere or other back to the throne. Another woman. Along with two ‘warriors’ – a pale-and-stale who cannot die and just fights and the super-warrior female who is much more clever than him.

But then it gets worse. The team also include a woman werewolf and a woman elf. It’s clear from the start they are supposed to represent minorities in society who people hate.

And as it went on I realised Abercrombie was pairing up the weak monk with the female werewolf and the princess + the elf.

And sure enough : like a lumbering elephant the story progressed and they got split into their relevant pairs on the journey. And last night the monk and the werewolf confessed their love for each other and had a shag. In the very next chapter, the lesbian elf and the lesbian princess stumbled across an intimate moment and started kissing.

    Off.

What this book did show me is just how mediocre Abercrombies storytelling is when he doesn’t us extreme violence to pep it up.

Oh well – another of my old favourites bites the dust. Need something else to read now ….

I’ve nearly finished watching George Gently for the first time : it’s a very odd production but I’ve enjoyed it immensely. Every now and then the stories have a flash of brilliance in the topics they cover and how they present them. Equally it also has some rubbish bits which you know would never happen, especially with the character played by Lee Ingleby.

His Lefty agenda is not extreme : it’s basically around feminism. Ingleby constantly insults the girl cop who is always right in the end.

I admit it has got a bit out of hand for the last couple of episodes where they are making her out to be some kind of super cop. And the episodes involving the Met were cringeworthy – but given the dire quality of everything on offer today, I welcomed something where the story line was at least credible.

    Here’s a tip for Labour.

If you want to stop falling in the polls and maybe even increase there’s one thing you can do.
    Nothing.
No more policies, laws or anything at all.
    Close parliament until 2029.

The reason is because EVERYTHING you do and have done has turned to shit.
By doing nothing you will actually improve things as opposed to when you do ANYTHING because you always make things worse.

“China’s main solar panel problem is overcapacity, leading to a sharp drop in prices, plummeting profitability, and significant job losses despite a massive global market share. This oversupply is a result of rapid production expansion, driven by government targets and subsidies, that outpaced actual demand. As a result, many companies are struggling, facing losses and bankruptcies, while international markets are increasingly concerned about potential trade disputes and supply chain security. ”

China’s solar panel disposal problem stems from its massive solar production, leading to a growing amount of waste as panels reach their ~25-year lifespan. The issue is complicated by the high cost and technical difficulty of recycling, as panels are made of many layers glued together. While China is planning to develop a recycling system, the country currently lacks a comprehensive and mature approach, and a massive amount of waste is expected to require disposal in the coming decades.

China has the most coal-fired power plants globally, accounting for over 50% of the world’s coal-based electricity generation. The country has been building new plants at a significant rate, particularly since 2022, driven by energy security concerns and recent power shortages.

It occurs to me that if I were a Globalist seeing my project and position of power and privilege under severe threat from populist nationalists , I would welcome an extra terrestrial threat. It would bind together presently antagonistic communities across the global and make Globalism acceptable and perhaps necessary to everyone.

Obviously, it is only a small step to therefore invent such a threat using as much money and technology as it takes to convince public opinion that such a threat is a real and present danger.

Starmer is once again claiming to have known nothing in the China spy case’s collapse, especially not Matt Collins’ evidence.

    This is getting familiar…

Here is every scandal Starmer has pleaded ignorance over:

China Espionage Case: Not involved, never saw anything, it was only Matt Collins.

Mandelson & Epstein: “Had I known then what I know now, I’d have never appointed him.”

Louise Haigh’s Criminal Record: Claimed there was “further information” that was revealed to him that led to her sacking.

Rayner’s First Housing Scandal: Didn’t need to see the ‘legal advice’ claiming appropriate capital gains tax was paid.

Grooming Gangs Prosecutions: “Decisions were made by subordinates or that he was not briefed on relevant cases.”

Andrew Malkinson’s Wrongful Conviction: “Never crossed his desk.”

Post Office Scandal: “I didn’t see these particular cases. I don’t even know yet what they were about, whether they come within the cohort that is of concern.”

Al-Fayed Investigation: “These decisions did not cross my desk.”

Israeli Football Fan Ban: The UK Football Policing Unit told the Home Office about the restrictions on visiting fans from Maccabi Tel Aviv the week before it was announced. Number 10 said no one told Starmer.

    More to come…
