OK, I will go first again. Is that three in a row? The BBC are in some disarray with their favourite Labour Party facing extinction. They try to disparage Nigel Farage and the Party he leads, they also try to disparage Tommy Robinson describing both Farage and Robinson as Far Right. The BBC may get a shock if the Labour Party try to ‘cut and run’ if the Local Elections go badly for Labour next May. The BBC are overpaid, overmanned … let us make them just over!

Defund the BBC, cancel your TellyTax.

This video makes it look like the family of the Blackstone CEO think they can break the laws around their Wiltshire estate
Sending security after people who are on the public road or public footpaths
and bringing in water tankers in the middle of the night to fill a lake in the middle of a drought.

\\ While households have been banned from filling paddling pools with a hosepipe during the drought this summer, these tankers had been allowed to take the water from the standpipes because construction work is not, under the law, counted as “domestic use”. A spokesperson for Schwarzman said the water was being used to fill in a new lake as part of renovation of the grounds of his estate.// Conholt Park

\\ In short, a former Labour adviser David Chaplin, Remain campaign strategist, and senior Fabian has now taken a top post inside Ofcom—the quango responsible for policing online speech.
Maybe you can start to see how stacked these organisations really are.//

\\In July 2024, following the Manchester Airport assault on two police officers and a deceptive clip of the event, dozens of masked men assembled outside Rochdale Police Station declaring GMP was “institutionally racist”.
Some threw eggs, kicked windows, and shouted “Allahu Akbar”.//

Comes to something when even an ex-BBC heavyweight starts to notice…

‘The soft left always finds being righteous easier than being right.

The Democrats have vacated the field of play since Donald Trump swept them aside in the last battle for the White House. Harris called him a tyrant and repeated her allegation that democracy was under threat. Starmer rails against Nigel Farage, claiming him to be a racist. Voters do not like being told that the people they support are wrong-uns.

Many Labour MPs, who backed the U-turns on winter fuel benefit cuts for pensioners and welfare reforms, are pleased. “They all want to be in the Coca-Cola advert,” one exasperated longtime party analyst tells me. Tough decisions are for others, efficiency is a dirty word and Margaret Thatcher (whom Powell brought up regularly during her campaign) is still a useful bogey woman. ‘

Of course such descriptions of the Labour Left seem to marry up quite nicely with the BBC’s own world view.

It’s just unfortunate that though Ahmed has seen the way the wind is blowing the likes of Starmer[and indeed Plaid] still do not as they continue to rant about Farage, Reform and what Starmer calls the language of ‘division and hate’ that he claims is what Reform is all about….entirely missing, as did the Dems, the fact that calling those who vote Reform racists and Far-Right is unlikely to persuade them to vote for Starmer instead.
