“A 15-year-old African migrant who raped a teenage girl in a park as she walked home from a night out has been jailed for more than five years.
The 17-year-old victim was subjected to the horrific attack near tennis courts in Cripplegate Park, Worcester, on August 10 last year.
A court heard the boy followed the girl, who he did not know, into the park at around 2am before telling her she was ‘pretty and sexy’.
The youth, who was wearing a balaclava and a full-black tracksuit, told her he wanted to have sex with her and it would ‘only take five minutes’.
When she refused, the court heard he forced himself onto her.
The now 16-year-old, who legally cannot be named due to his age, previously admitting one count of the rape of a woman and one count of assault by penetration. He was jailed for five years and three months at Worcester Crown Court today. The court was told that the victim pleaded with the defendant to let her go home as he pulled off her shorts and underwear, while repeatedly telling her that he was 18.”

Today at PMQs Starmer was asked about Jonathan Powell , his appointment and vetting.
Now whether this is true but I just saw this posted elsewhere.
Very, very important that this question is being asked. Powell is well-known to hold very great influence over our foreign policy.
While he was Special Envoy to the British Indian Ocean Territory he was also running his organisation, IM01 / Inter Mediate. In that role he has attended events run by the Grandview Institution, a Chinese state ‘think-tank’ whose key people have all worked at the highest levels of the Chinese foreign and defence ministries.
A full vetting process would have surfaced these links.

There is only way guaranteed to work. Intercept every boat we can, take it back to France and dump them on the beach. Do the same for every illegal we catch on our beaches. No questions or exceptions apart from medical emergencies.
The boats will stop overnight. Yet this solution is the only one I have never heard anyone talk about except one time from BBC Verify who told us we can’t because it would be an act of war with France.

The Foreign Affairs Committee will hold an evidence session with Cat Little, Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary and the chief operating officer of the United Kingdom’s Civil Service at 9.30am on Thursday 23 April. The session will take place in the Grimond Room in Portcullis House.
The session follows recent reports that United Kingdom Security Vetting recommended against granting Lord Mandelson Developed Vetting, but, despite this, Lord Mandelson was appointed as British Ambassador to Washington. It also follows evidence from Sir Oliver Robbins, former Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development office, who was withdrawn as Permanent Under-Secretary following these reports.

I only caught the opening few minutes of Prime Minister’s Questions yesterday, but that was enough…
One oily half caste Labour MP bowled Starmer the ubiquitous soft ball. “Does the Prime Minister agree with me”…He then sneakily tried to link the patriotic enjoyment of St George’s Day with something rather shameful and sinister.
Apparently the sainted Stephen Lawrence was murdered on the 22nd of April 33 years ago. Yes, 33 long bloody years ago…but there’s hardly a week goes by when he’s not mentioned. How many other murdered black boys can you name? No, me neither.

Lord Mandelson’s money-spinning consultancy firm Global Counsel went bust owing £4.5million – including more than half a million pounds to the taxman, it was revealed today.
The corporate strategy firm set up by the disgraced peer collapsed in February amid the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Today it filed a ‘statement of affairs’ at Companies House reporting its bills to creditors are £4,596,149 more than the value of its assets.
Among those out of pocket are HM Revenue and Customs, with the taxman being owed £645,000.
Lord Mandelson set up the firm in 2010 to make his fortune – but it sacked its own founder last September just minutes after he was fired as Britain’s ambassador to Washington.
The Labour grandee’s downfall came after a torrent of sickening emails showing his closeness to his ‘best pal’ Epstein, a convicted child sex predator.
Directors of Global Counsel got rid of Lord Mandelson fearing the ‘threat of negative media coverage’ from their founder, an internal note revealed.
But it was not enough to save the company, and as the Epstein scandal grew, Global Counsel went into administration on February 20, three days before Lord Mandelson was arrested by police.
The peer was quizzed over allegations that while serving as a minister he passed on market-sensitive government information to the late convicted paedophile Epstein. Lord Mandelson is on police bail and has not been charged with any offence.
When Mandelson started Global Counsel, it was after Labour lost the general election and David Cameron became Prime Minister. It was a strategy and communications firm founded by him with his long-term associate Benjamin Wegg-Prosser.
Among Global Counsel’s many clients were Chinese-owned TikTok and US tech firm Palantir. It had six offices across the world.
At one stage last year, Lord Mandelson had a 21 per cent stake worth around £6million ($8.1 million). But he is not among the creditors owed money by the firm, according to the list prepared by administrators.

In fairness the ability to comment on cases before the court is pretty constraining – add a threat from BBCOFCOM and an injunction or too and get silence …
But the test will be on reporting once the case gets going – if it does – ranging from flat guilty pleas to cps offering no case to answer – they must have served more remand time than any sentence .. unless a TTK judge wants them dead in prison
