Start the Week 27th April 2026

A royal visit is due to take place to the US. How will the BBC handle it ? Use it to distract from the troubles of its ‘ favourite regime ? And then there is the Ukrainian rent boy trial . Will the BBC report on this ?

The very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result each time.

We have given the French more money and expect them to send less illegal invaders.

The French are international jokers and unfortunately the joke is on us.

MM that’s from 2022. Natalie Elphicke has long gone. It is irrelevant.
she has left the political scene, sought greener pastures, it is a passed event.
If you like the past so much why don’t you build yourself a flaming Tardis and begone?

          • MarkyMark says:

” It is irrelevant” – HA HA HA HA! It’s still happening – just because no one reports on it. Don’t you see – we pay France millions and they use it to send more illegals to the UK. The BBC reported this and did no follow up – was it authorised by Macron? Who runs the buses? Is the UK paying for the buses? You seem to think what is done is done – open your mind and you will see history repeating itself – and as for the Tardis

“The latest era of Doctor Who (Series 14/15, 2024–2025), led by Ncuti Gatwa and showrunner Russell T. Davies, has faced significant criticism and declining traditional, “overnight” viewership ratings, leading to intense debate among fans. While some fans enjoy the new direction, many others have criticized the writing as “cheesy,” “childish,” and overly focused on “woke” themes, leading to the sentiment that those who do not enjoy the new creative direction should stop watching”

Of course the situation is ongoing nobody but a Leftard would dispute it. You article is four years old and since then Elphicke defected to Labour and gave up her stood down at the 2024. Some time ago. There are new people involved and the Conservatives are out of power. Surely you noticed?
If you want to post outdated stuff, stick the damn date on the top, so those of us who aren’t archivists can skip at a glance.
Example= If you are posting, let’s say “Russian ships sunk at Tsushima” just say “this report is from 1905” You started doing this for a while but now you seem to have forgotten. Is that too much to ask?

The entire corpus of PR for COVID vaccinations with mRNA is creaking to near bursting with lies and misrepresentation- am I wrong?

‘According to a Federal Election Commission record, seen by BBC Verify, in October 2024 Allen donated $25 (£18) to the fundraising platform ActBlue’

Normally you would expect the BBC to add a few words describing what the platform ‘ActBlue’ is because the name is meaningless. They absolutely would not leave it like that if it gave evidence that the suspect was right-wing.

But they don’t explain it any further. This is why:
‘ActBlue is a major part of the Democratic Party’s fundraising infrastructure.’

If it suited them, they would also inform us that Thomas Crooks (the assassin who shot Trumps ear) and Ryan Routh (the assassin on the gold course) BOTH also donated to ActBlue.

But it doesn’t suit them. So they don’t even tell us what the fundraiser is.

Very, very deliberate lies by omission from the BBC. And most definitely directed by the agenda team. They don’t want us to know all these murdering scum are Democrats. Doesn’t fit the narrative.

Did Trump save eight Iranian women from execution?
    https://www.bbc.com/news/videos/cx2e2lg2ny9o

My God, this is TDS in the extreme from the typical middle-class, oddball BBC ‘Chief International Correspondent’ Lyse Doucet.

The effort she has gone to to try and prove Trump was wrong is quite extraordinary.

And what was the conclusion of all this effort and expense with the one single goal : to prove Trump was lying ?. Were they executed after all ?.

Nope. Iran says they were not even sentenced to be executed so Trump put out fake news. They go to great lengths to tell us this : they put a big banner on the page saying ‘None of these women were ever facing execution. Iran’s judiciary’ and then slowly saying ‘and accused the President of making fake reports’.

Who are ‘Irans’ Judiciary’ I wonder. Just someone the BBC know or are they a recognised department with a very vague title ?. We aren’t told.

But then bizarrely we are told some might be facing execution and one definitely is. And at the very end we are told that others are being executed on a daily basis. The contradiction is entirely ignored.

So the BBC clearly consider arguing small details just to say Trump was wrong is far more important than all the others who are being executed for protesting. It’s an amazing article when you think about it – and it seems the BBC and their Trump-hating groupthink don’t realise just how obsessed they are.

And once again it adds to the proof that the BBC don’t give a shit about anyone being hung when they can’t use it for their agenda.

Precontemplation and campaign of chaos edition

The globalist – but apparently rather unworldly – FT pleads innocence: Suspect’s motive unknown

They refer of course to the news story of the day: Trump defiant as third assassination attempt fails (Independent)

Considering this incident happened at a: prestigious media gala (Gruan) – how could our journos neglect to go massive on the news. You’ll no doubt note all the “I was there” reporting as they make it all about themselves.

Motive unknown…? Has the Financial Times honestly never heard of “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS) ?

A particular lapse considering its journos and editorial line can demonstrably be counted among those poor sadly afflicted.

In fact the pink paper admits, by way of a quote from their man on the ground, US FT staffer Edward Luce: Trump attracts higher share of would-be assassins

They do say: “The first stage of alcohol recovery is typically precontemplation or treatment initiation (assessment), where the individual acknowledges the problem, breaks through denial, and decides to seek help. This crucial phase involves moving from, “I don’t have a problem…” – Thank you A.I. quoting there from UK Addiction Treatment Centres

Party flyers ‘misleading voters before May polls’ (Guardian)

As regular readers may recall, your Mr AsI cares deeply about the planet – whenever the Green party put an election leaflet through his letterbox, without hesitation he puts it straight into the recycling bin.

Sadly the Gruan pushes the meat of their report concerning: “grotesque” information about how to vote tactically… “dodgy” bar charts… “can’t win here”… Election leaflets… – off beyond the front page to page 11 which as you know is beyond our remit.

But anecdotally I can tell you in two council wards, with which I am familiar, it was the Greens trumpeting the dodgy bar charts in their leaflets, claiming the way to stop Reform (assuming that to be your want) was to lend the Green candidates your vote.

Claims made in campaign material… There are few restrictions on what candidates, political parties or campaigners can say in campaign materials. These restrictions include making or publishing a false statement about the personal character or conduct of a candidate, or publishing offensive material. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t raise concern (The Electoral Commission)

So what constitutes going too far – and what party has pushed the limits, we wonder?

Labour told to tone down Reform attack advert… Video featuring comments made by people in Nigel Farage’s party deemed too offensive for TV broadcast… The Labour Party was ordered to tone down a US-style attack advert filled with controversial quotes from Reform UK politician (Telegraph)

You can’t have it both ways

BBC licence fee refusniks and frequenters of YouTube will tend to have been subjected to Labour party adverts presented by the lad Streeting – looking like some nifty shifty fifties wide boy – in his tight suit and odd hair cut – claiming NHS waiting lists are down and things not only CAN but ARE getting better…

Meanwhile, the Labour-friendly Guardian says au contraire: Sharp fall in Britons’ healthy life expectancy

One characterises the Guardian as defaulting, at least in sports and entertainment coverage, as a wannbe Harlem Voice newspaper. One further regards their interest in sport as intermittent and only piqued when identity politics is concerned – afterall, you’ll read nothing of: Fernández guides Chelsea to final in campaign of chaos (Times) on the cover of the Gruan – but readers will take particular note of: History man… The greatest sporting feat of the century – you guessed it, he’s black.

This is of course: Marathon man… Kenyan beats 2-hour record (FT)

History man…? Move over Malcolm Bradbury (there’s one for the teenagers)

Happily, the Gruan retains all of its metropolitan middle class pretentions: Olive, hemp or sunflower – the truth about cooking oils

Marathon man… on the streets of London… but is it safe? (there’s another one for the teenagers – have you guessed it yet?)

“They’re still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump,” Wilson said. “And that’s a fact.”

Did someone try to kill Trump…who was he, what was his motivation, what radicalised him, what influenced his thinking, why is violence against Republicans so prevalent in the US? If anything the BBC is turning the attempted killer into a hero…such a nice man, educated, a Christian, so lovely and peaceful…and, as Nick Robinson said…’a teacher…a very good teacher’….lol…let’s not forget what they really like about him…he hates Trump and wanted to kill him….hero!

Funny thing…look on the BBC site and there’s no headline about the shooter…nothing asking any questions…and of course no mention at all in any report that he is black. If it had been a White and Right person? We all know the BBC would be demanding social media be shut down, that right-wing commentators take the blame and that politicians, on the right, must tone down their rhetoric…they are all to blame…but a black lefty shooter? Tumbleweed.

But then there’s so much left-wing anti-Trump violent speech to choose from….even from the BBC’s finest…

‘David Attenborough Suggests Shooting Donald Trump’

Even before Trump was elected in 2016…

‘In an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes before Trump had secured the nomination, Wilson said “Trump is still a very powerful force right now” because of his “nativist” message appealing to the base, adding the GOP donor class “can’t just sit back on the sidelines and say, ‘oh well, don’t worry, this will all work itself out.’”

“They’re still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump,” Wilson said. “And that’s a fact.”

And the Democrats and their allies have been trying that for over a decade.

And what was the assassin’s motivation….does the BBC ask? No…oh, they said they would…they said they’d tell us all about his manifesto….except not really….they just read out a small extract of the worst that told us Trump was a very bad man…..and tried to implicate him in the Epstein farce….but there was no discussion of the truths, or untruths of that, nor about where those narratives had come from….the likes of the Far-Left including our very own BBC of course.
Even in their write-up the BBC copy and paste the most smeary claim….quite clearly trying to implicate Trump as the ‘unnamed’ person….and that’s it…there is no analysis, no ‘verify’, no attempt to challenge anything…just out out there for you to believe…or not…

‘BBC News has not independently verified the alleged writings, which have been described as a manifesto and were reportedly sent to the suspect’s family members before the attempted attack.

During the 60 Minutes interview on Sunday, Trump grew frustrated with journalist Norah O’Donnell after she asked about the reported contents of the alleged writings, which include a reference to a “pedophile, rapist, and traitor” without mentioning any individual by name.’

The BBC is cheering on an assassination attempt on Trump.

It is the most dangerous organisation in Britain….and is spreading its poison across the Pond.

      Excellent assessment, Pug.

And we all know, that in the dreadful event of a murderer eventually getting at President Trump, and killing him, then the general assumption will be that while the bBC will ‘publicly’ show ‘respect’, there’ll be childish sniggering behind chubby hands and the glittering snidery will continue to fester for many years afterwards. It’s the sort of issue that they dream about – a huge story, but with a result that they hanker after at every turn.

Not, er, verified but this is supposedly Cole Allen’s ‘manifesto’….written as if it was after the event….you can see his accusations are all false and basically Democrat attack lines.

    Cole Allen’s manifesto in full:

    ‘Hello everybody!

So I may have given a lot of people a surprise today. Let me start off by apologizing to everyone whose trust I abused.

I apologize to my parents for saying I had an interview without specifying it was for “Most Wanted.”

I apologize to my colleagues and students for saying I had a personal emergency (by the time anyone reads this, I probably most certainly DO need to go to the ER, but can hardly call that not a self-inflicted status.)

I apologize to all of the people I traveled next to, all the workers who handled my luggage, and all the other non-targeted people at the hotel who I put in danger simply by being near.

I apologize to everyone who was abused and/or murdered before this, to all those who suffered before I was able to attempt this, to all who may still suffer after, regardless of my success or failure.

I don’t expect forgiveness, but if I could have seen any other way to get this close, I would have taken it. Again, my sincere apologies.

On to why I did any of this:

I am a citizen of the United States of America.

What my representatives do reflects on me.

And I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.

(Well, to be completely honest, I was no longer willing a long time ago, but this is the first real opportunity I’ve had to do something about it.)

While I’m discussing this, I’ll also go over my expected rules of engagement (probably in a terrible format, but I’m not military so too bad.)

I would still go through most everyone here to get to the targets if it were absolutely necessary (on the basis that most people *chose* to attend a speech by a pedophile, rapist, and traitor, and are thus complicit) but I really hope it doesn’t come to that.

    Rebuttals to objections:

Objection 1: As a Christian, you should turn the other cheek.

Rebuttal: Turning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I’m not the person raped in a detention camp. I’m not the fisherman executed without trial. I’m not a schoolkid blown up or a child starved or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration.

Turning the other cheek when *someone else* is oppressed is not Christian behavior; it is complicity in the oppressor’s crimes.

Objection 2: This is not a convenient time for you to do this.

Rebuttal: I need whoever thinks this way to take a couple minutes and realize that the world isn’t about them. Do you think that when I see someone raped or murdered or abused, I should walk on by because it would be “inconvenient” for people who aren’t the victim?

This was the best timing and chance of success I could come up with.

Objection 3: You didn’t get them all.

    Rebuttal: Gotta start somewhere.

Objection 4: As a half-black, half-white person, you shouldn’t be the one doing this.

Rebuttal: I don’t see anyone else picking up the slack

Objection 5: Yield unto Caesar what is Caesar’s.

Rebuttal: The United States of America are ruled by the law, not by any one or several people. In so far as representatives and judges do not follow the law, no one is required to yield them anything so unlawfully ordered.

I would also like to extend my appreciation to a great many people since I will not be likely to be able to talk with them again (unless the Secret Service is *astoundingly* incompetent.)

Thank you to my family, both personal and church, for your love over these 31 years.

Thank you to my friends, for your companionship over many years.

Thank you to my colleagues over many jobs, for your positivity and professionalism.

Thank you to my students for your enthusiasm and love of learning.

Thank you to the many acquaintances I’ve met, in person and online, for short interactions and long-term relationships, for your perspectives and inspiration.

    Thank you all for everything.

Voting means you might get people that do not represent what you want – that is democracy? Or should 48% (*Brexit) who did not win take power back with assassinations? Even when you vote you don’t get what was said to be in the manifesto! This should change – manifesto read out every parliament with progress on each point.

I posted a few weeks back how the Panorama programme many years ago was splicing film to make a Conservative appear to say something he hadn’t said. I knew the BBC man so knew it had happened. I searched the internet in vain so I could add detail here. The web had been cleansed. They used to say it couldn’t be done. Well it can be done now.

Back when we used to watch the news on the BBC, when it was a credible organisation, any time a ‘prison’ story came out, maybe about a killer, or a general increase in crime etc., the clips always showed inmates shuffling along a corridor, from the back to hide their faces, and they all were dressed in some foreign garb like a striped dress or similar, and wearing leather flip-flops. We often taped these programs, as I’d just got home and needed a tincture to catch up with Senora O’Blene! It was a standard ‘stock’ showpiece of thieves etc., and we all marvelled at how these clearly foreign criminals were being banged up for what they were.

Of course, those clips would never be shown now, but I’m just wondering if, like The Quattro in ‘Life on Mars’, (or was it ‘Ashes to ashes’), I might just be able to ‘fire up the VHS machine’, and somehow record a few of these for posterity?

After all, most (?) of the Peter Cook and Dudley Moore episodes, which were ‘wiped’ by the cheapskate bBC were recovered this way…

(Anyone know where all my SCART cables are, er, and the tapes etc…)?

“Britain’s most politically charged criminal trial of the year opens at the Old Bailey on Monday 27 April, as three men face a jury over a series of arson attacks targeting properties connected to Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The defendants are Roman Lavrynovych, 21, a Ukrainian national from Sydenham, south-east London; Petro Pochynok, 34, also Ukrainian, of Holloway Road, Islington; and Stanislav Carpiuc, 26, a Romanian national of Ukrainian origin, from Chadwell Heath in east London. All three have been held on remand at HMP Belmarsh since their arrests. All three have pleaded not guilty.”

A fourth man, aged 48, arrested at Stansted Airport in June 2025 on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life, has since been released without charge. A fifth person, a 19-year-old man from Harlow, Essex, was detained in January 2026 and released under investigation while enquiries continue.

    How did we get here?
    published at 13:55
    13:55
The dispute initially centred on the council’s decision to remove Waste Recycling and Collection Officer (WRCO) roles
The union claimed about 170 affected workers faced losing up to £8,000 a year but the council disputed those figures
Union members started a series of one-day strikes on 6 January 2025
An all-out strike was launched on 11 March, leading to piles of uncollected waste
The council ensured household waste collections were still made, but recycling collections were suspended
Picketers delayed crews from leaving waste depots to collect rubbish, before a High Court injunction was granted
Agency workers joined the Unite action in December in a separate dispute over bullying and harassment
Talks to end the dispute broke down last summer, with the council announcing in July it was pressing ahead with its restructuring plans

The £200 rule, introduced by the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 in England and Wales, classifies shoplifting of goods valued at £200 or less as a “low-value shoplifting” summary offense. It allows suspects to plead guilty by post, simplifying prosecution for smaller thefts in magistrates’ courts. Although often perceived as a “no-investigation” threshold, it still permits police to pursue and prosecute offenders.
