Re. a much more palatable “bromance”, how will the bbc manage to avoid mentioning the upcoming visit to US President Donald Trump by HRH, in the event of them getting along famously? Knowing the Donald, and his genuine love of the Royals, it’s quite likely.

I haven’t seen anything this corrupt since the Thai government put forward a bill to give amnesty for all corruption by politicians since 2006. It was forced by Thaksin (who was running the government by Skype from Dubai) to clear convictions against him so he could return from self-exile.
Every single member of his party voted for it. The entire opposition walked out. It triggered huge civil unrest which led to the last coup. The media was bought and paid for and utterly failed in their duty as a democratic check-and-balance.
I remember laughing at the time at how blatantly corrupt these people were and thinking to myself how much better our democracy is.

Every opposition MP across all parties voted ‘yes’. Almost every Labour MP voted ‘no’ because the dictator ordered them to. Not a single ethic between them.
Labour was gifted a big majority after the BBC led a campaign to remove all the senior Tories and keep on doing it until only the Lefty ones remained. And now Starmer has used that majority for this utterly corrupt display to the world of what we are now.

Why not phrase it as:
‘Man accused of airport PC assault claims he ‘feared for his life”
Given what happened is clearly on video, the headline should be phrased to suggest he may well by lying. Not asserting what he says as a truth.
And what specific quote do the BBC choose to include ?.
‘Amaaz said: “It’s not like these things have not happened before when a police officer abuses their powers and, as a result, people have died.”‘
So it becomes clear : the BBC are using this case for their far-Left, anti-police agenda. They don’t give a shit what really happened.
I don’t know which I despise the most : the actual BBC agenda or the shameless hypocrisy and lies they are quite willing to use to hide it between the lines.
I watched the King’s speech to Congress and was appalled. A few hours earlier President Trump gave a warm, friendly , non political speech of welcome .
But Charles gave a highly political and provocative speech with many anti Trump swipes in it and of course mentions of his pet Globalist topics , diversity is our strength , climate change, multi faith , understanding not confrontation , words matter etc. He had a real go at Trump without mentioning him by name. The Democrats loved it .
We all know that the King must deliver what the government writes but I’m sure he agreed with each and every swipe at the President. I hope that the President now realises that Charles is just as much opposed to his political agenda as Starmer is and that his views are not shared by all of the British people.
Charles is heading for a direct constitutional crisis if we elect a Reform government. I certainly do not trust him to fulfil his duties opposite Prime Minister Farage .

Today I watched the King’s speech given at the state dinner yesterday evening. This was much friendlier , much less political and much more suitable for a visiting head of state. Perhaps it had less government input than the one to Congress.
But I still think that Charles will be the ruin of the monarchy and fear his reaction if Farage starts to do what is required.

One would have thought that Labour MP’s were subject to a three line whip in yesterday’s vote because it was a vote to remove Starmer as PM. It wasn’t of course, it was a vote to investigate the circumstances around Mandelson’s appointment and whether Starmer misled Parliament regarding it. If Starmer has nothing to hide why avoid it? My view he has a lot to hide and wants to avoid further scrutiny.
Had he been honest from the start, there might not have been any need for an enquiry, and he may even have got off lightly.
However, it’s par for the course that there are always unpleasant rituals behind this cheating lot, so stringing it all out has put off his demise by a week or so.
One commentator (a real journalist – sorry, cannot recall his name, certainly not a Cubiclist), on Talk yesterday, suggested that there’s a Chequers meeting planned for a week on Saturday, when the full picture of the catastrophic downfall of Rodneyism will be glaring at them in the face.

Starmer and the appointment of Mandelson.
All due process was followed in the vetting. Well so it seems….Mandelson was conclusivley found to be unsuitable.

So the vetting worked.
However…Barton of the FO tells us that he didn’t see the vetting…it was he who passed on the message to Robbins that Mandelson was merely ‘borderline’…nothing in writing of course….and thus could be given the job.
Sooo….all due process followed? Clearly not if the vetting conclusion was not passed on accurately.
Lost in translation as that was reduced to merely ‘borderline’ by the panjandrums?
Why might this have happened?
Enter No10….pressure, all agree, was put upon the panjandrums to get the vetting done and Mandelson ensconced asap. We are assured that this pressure was merely about speed not approval regardless. If that is so how is it that Robbins admits this…

A message that the Civil Servants surely took on board…hence we have two senior civil servants claiming no knowledge of the real vetting conclusion and that all procedures were followed…a bit of arse covering there as if they admitted they knew Mandelson had failed we would know they had lied.
An Starmer? It was his No10 that was putting on the pressure to get the appointment made regardless of whether vetting had been done or not.
This was the apointment of one of the most high profile jobs in the diplomatic service…and the Prime Minister played no part in that process just as, when head of the CPS, he had no part in the refusal to prosecute Savile, one of the most high profile and well connected people in Britain at the time?
Surely given the ‘Prince of Darkness’s’ reputation and history as a very dodgy character Starmer would have taken a keen interest in the vetting and demanded an answer? Apparently No10 just wasn’t interested and wanted him in place asap regardless of vetting.
Starmer should be investigated….hence Labour’s whipping of the vote….lol…why so worried Sir Keir? What have you to hide?

Pug – I listened to all that on Parliament tv – waiting 5 hours for my motor bike to be fixed … the reason put that Mandelson didn’t need DV was because he was ‘already a privy counsellor ‘…. Ok … but then they discussed whether DV was normally done before the job announcement? The answer was ‘yes ‘ and this was ‘unusual ‘ – not due process .
If you add to that there was no contingency plan if Mandelson failed DV further points to the pressure issue ……
This is strange because anyone with knowledge of Mandelson past circumstances who be alarmed that he would be subject to DV because they’d know he’d fail it – and certainly not get through the next – upper stage – of vetting .
No one asked about what IT systems he has access to – just that he was wearing a Green DV badge despite not having cleared DV ….
BTW – I reckon – if Mandelson is ever charged – his defence will be that he cannot get a fair trial – although by then Lammy will have got rid of juries and put him before a TTK judge ..
