Here I am – send me to the top of the Thread. The BBC are despicable. The BBC have banned Nigel Farage from Desert Island Discs. The BBC are very wasteful, with over-recruitment and wasting the licence fees on expensive recruitment and salaries. Defund the BBC! The BBC have Trump Derangement Syndrome in bucketsful. The BBC are biased in favour of the Left Wing, biased against Israel. the BBC are also biased against Nigel Farage and the Reform Party.

In another of my chats with AI, I discovered that as well as the BBC handling all the complaints against themselves (and accepting virtually none of them), the only actual realistic power OFCOM have is to force them to print an apology on that hidden ‘corrections’ page nobody sees. Apparently it causes ‘a loss of reputation’ to teach them a lesson.

In theory they could fine them but of course they are fining the taxpayers so in reality they don’t do it. A side effect of the ‘unique way the BBC is funded’.

      What an absolutely absurd situation.

Disgraced newsreader Huw Edwards criticises Channel 5 drama on events leading to his conviction

        https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4g6zn91mrpo

Edwards, 64, who was born in Bridgend, admitted accessing 41 images, including one of a child aged between seven and nine, and received a six-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, in 2024.

He said Channel 5 made “no attempt to check with me the truth of any aspect of their narrative” in Power: The Downfall Of Huw Edwards, which focuses on how a vulnerable teenager came into contact with Edwards.

A Channel 5 spokesperson said the series was based on “extensive interviews with the victim and his family” as well as court reporting.

The liars at the BBC (I repeat myself) blame the Paris riots on “clashes between football fans and police”.

The French know they have nothing to do with football and everything to do with North African and other migrants seizing any opportunity to smash things up, to Burn, Loot and Murder.

According to the Right-wing politician Éric Zemmour, the riots are “the first symptoms of a civilizational guerrilla war,” he argues, and justify “a major remigration policy to bring peace back to France.”
He’s talking about a clash of civilisations, or rather between civilisation and savagery.

So far, the savages are winning, all over Europe.

Tip Toe’s creator Russell T Davies: ‘I wish television could change the world’
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c392erkm3d2o

And here we have the BBC and it’s activists in a nutshell.

This is a shameless promotional piece for Russel T Davies new, BBC-funded ‘Tip Toe’.

What’s it about I hear you ask ?.:

‘Alan Cumming plays Leo Struthers, a 59-year-old who owns a bar in Manchester’s Gay Village.”It tells the story of two neighbours – one gay, one straight – whose ongoing feud gets darker and darker as one of them falls deeper into the world of online disinformation, with disastrous consequences for both.’

Let me guess which one falls into the world of disinformation : not the gay one.

What does Davies say about it ?.
“I wish television could change the world,” he says. “I’d have written more and changed it faster if I could. I do feel bound to comment on the world though.”

WTF ?. Is that your remit BBC ?. Fund programs to try and change the world to be as YOU want it to be ?. This is an even more blatant admission of what they are doing than when he said the same thing about Dr Who. Which they have utterly ruined by forcing this same agenda on it.

Davies is – of course – gay. This is quite shameless activism from the BBC. It’s what happens when you stuff your entire staff with DEI. You end up with a totally warped view of reality. They are too obsessed to see outside their groupthink.

Jamie Varley, 37, is accused of killing the 13-month-old, along with 25 other charges relating to his sexual and physical mistreatment.

His partner John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, is accused of causing or allowing the death of the child and four other offences. Both men deny all charges.

      • JohnC says:

I commented on that a while back and it is an absolutely horrendous story. This freak actually raped a 13 month old baby.

This should have been absolutely huge with all kinds of debates about how these men could have been approved to adopt and whether we should be letting gay men adopt babies ever again. But the Left are silent.

What happened to ‘If it stops one baby being raped then it would be worth it’ they so often come up with in situations like this ?.

But hey, lets carry on letting gay couples adopt babies. The Left clearly accept babies being raped and murdered as an acceptable price to pay to force their own warped agenda on everyone else.

Same as living in a big city : you should expect a bit of terrorism and murder. The agenda is more important.

    Let me translate edition

Weather-wise, that record-breaking spring ‘heat spike’ we’ve just got over has likely scuppered several future expectant hottest-day-of-the-year-so-far climate alarmist headlines from our BBC.

That’s a good example of the notion of striking while the iron is hot – or shooting one’s bolt.

And then Tony Blair went and poured cold water over Ed Miliband’s Net Zero castles in Spain.

All these peculiar English idioms – to us native speakers they’re a piece of cake – but I’m probably confusing a boatload (a big proportion) of our NHS doctors.

‘SIGNIFICANT ERRORS’ NHS doctor suspended for SIXTH time because she can’t speak English – after colleagues flagged risk to patients. She was initially suspended for six months before further reviews (The Sun, September 2025)

But I digress. Where were we? Ah, castles…

    Sometimes these segueways…

Israel seizes castle in Lebanon as it expands ground offensive… Israel’s military says it captured Beaufort Castle, a strategic fort in southern Lebanon – frets the BBC’s Sebastian Usher, Reporting from Jerusalem and Robert Greenall – have we any reason to doubt the IDF’s word on this, chaps?

Medieval castle? Strategic fort…? and there we were thinking tanks have become an outmoded weapon of war… what with drones etc…

British Army could axe ageing tanks as part of modernisation plans… Is the nation which invented the tank about to abandon it? (BBC, August 2020)

Nation that invented the tank? Be careful with that national ‘arrogance’ – you can’t go around claiming Britain invented stuff, just because we might have done.

The Daily Star is backing Three Lions as England’s footie song – despite claims the “It’s coming home” anthem is arrogant… Frank: The FA wants to ditch England anthem

Our BBC explains: In other football news, the paper says Frank Skinner fears his Three Lions anthem is being “cancelled” by FA chiefs because they are embarrassed by the song’s claims that England is the “home of football”.

National pride and warm weather may be considered terribly bad things…

However, in-the-tank for Labour Daily Mirror decides it’s a good news day this Monday – and our BBC go with bumping the socialist red-top to top of their print press file*

[*the small print: the left-leaning virtual online-only ‘newspaper’ the Independent gets to be included in the press line-up by our BBC – presumably to bring political balance to the Tory press – alongside Guardian, Mirror, i paper, corporate left-leaning Metro, globalist EU-admiring FT and formerly serious now mainly female interest voice of the left-leaning regime Times]

Despite the arrogance of Britain claiming to have invented stuff: Precious gift of time… deadliest cancer: New hope… Specialist Dr Rachna Shroff… Expert says she cried after seeing data… (Mirror); Expert’s tears of joy (Express); the mildly conservative Telegraph likewise carries a report of the new drug breakthrough – but they don’t feel the need to celebrate tearfully – on their front page summary at least.

I wonder if Albert Einstein had a good old blub after he cracked the maths behind relativity? Or if Sir Isaac Newton filled up when he discovered gravity?

    Sometimes these segueways…

Sturgeon the master communicator was close to tears – but still faces more questions (Laura Kuenssberg, BBC)

I feel the need to go contrarian on this one – having previously used the literary analogy of E F Benson’s humorously drawn relationship between his comic character pairing of Lucia and Georgie Pilson – the latter the devoted aesthete (who’s passion is collecting what he terms ‘bibelots’ or small, curious, and beautiful trinkets, which he famously polishes and displays in a glass-topped case) – and after our Nicola has more or less come out as a ‘Quaint’ Irene

Well, if that analogy falls on stony ground – let’s quote Woody Allen in Broadway Danny Rose when confronted by Italian gangsters who mistakenly suspect he is the man stealing their boss’s girlfriend – “I don’t want to appear didactic, fellas.. But I’m just the beard”

The lad Streeting proves he’s still a good socialist at heart: Streeting backs fresh drilling for North Sea oil… ‘It will not necessarily translate into cheaper bills, but it will translate into higher tax receipts’ (Telegraph)

    Today

Sometimes the mental illness of the BBC exhibits itself in one programme – today – big stuff on computerising your medical record so that every one can see it in the NHS to ‘save lives ‘…
Elsewhere – same programme – an advert for a panorama show reporting on another inquiry into Nottingham health maternity – where the lovely midwives write codes on a white board such as FOH which means’ eff off home ‘- so caring ….

But one gets the feeling there’s something left out of this story – something …. Ethnic … but that’s just me .

I mentioned the above took place in Nottingham – the same Nottingham the multiple murder public inquiry is taking place in where every agency of their State failed – leading to x3 slaughter plus multiple injuries by car on sunny summers ‘ morning …..not reported of course … coloured killer ….

      A clear promise
Two and a half years ago, the coalition government was formed, and we made a clear promise to the British public. After thirteen years of uncontrolled mass immigration, this government would reduce and control immigration.

As yesterday’s census statistics show, the legacy we’ve been left with is a substantial one. Between 2001 and 2011, more than half of the growth in the population of England and Wales was accounted for by immigration.

Since we came to government, we’ve taken action across the board. We’ve capped economic migration, reformed family visas, and cut out the widespread abuse of the student route into the country.

There could be serious opposition in the two devolved Parliaments to reforms to Net Zero , immigration, deportations etc. We could be looking at a Constitutional crisis especially with King Mohammed Jug Ears in place.

If the powers that be say he cannot have his knife with him all the time in prison then this would also be true for all the other Sikhs in the UK.
Either they must have them all the time because it’s their religion or they don’t.

Harrowing speech by the family of Henry Nowak. Seventeen minutes into the BBC news at six before they mention the case. Of course they cut out most of the speech. They also make sure not to mention “I can’t breathe” at all. Not one mention. Despite the new information he said it nine times. Despicable BBC.

Not watched BBC news for years but did so this time just to see what they did. 17 minutes of Trump bad Muslims good Iran stuff before getting round to it. Despicable. Only mention the whole thing as a brief “by the way” type article.

If it had been the other way around.. White guy stabbing black guy.. Just imagine.

Fed yes I am surprised too. Maybe Starmers hit squads have been visiting houses having checked IP addresses… Hang on, there goes the doorbell…

The MSM have done a very good job of keeping the story quiet up til now… Maybe bodycam footage release will change that… Though I can see possible BBC narrative of criticising the footage release in itself as a diversion so they dont have to talk about the actual issues involved…

This is what the anti-white activism of the Left has resulted in. The blame for the attitude of these police is a direct consequence of the constant ‘all whites are racist’ rhetoric the BBC and others have been drip feeding us for years.

The guy is on the ground being held up because of the blood in his mouth and can hardly move – yet they handcuff him anyway. That alone is very reasonable grounds to suspect he has been stabbed through a lung.

I don’t feel anger at that BAME guy over this. He’s just another scumbag with the ethics we have learned to expect from the culture where he was imported from. He could have been any one from countless thousands now. I feel anger at the Left and very specifically the BBC who play dirty mind games of insinuation, inference and huge lies by omission to push their own agenda into the minds of people. All cynically reworded and packaged at great expense by their team of lawyers who ensure they stay right on the line of what they can get away with.

Here’s scumbag Starmers delayed response which has has only released because of the public outcry:

‘This an awful, shocking case. Henry’s loved ones have gone through the trauma of a long trial and endured Henry’s killer making up appalling claims about their son who was thoughtful, kind and deeply loved.
It is right that the IOPC is investigating the police’s response to his senseless murder.
And we must end the cycle of tragedy by tackling the horror of knife crime.
Henry’s family, friends, his university and the city of Southampton will continue to feel his loss, and our thoughts will always be with them.’

It says nothing at all. It is a carefully crafted piece of Lawyers rhetoric designed to say exactly that. It’s more like what a vicar would say at the funeral than a comment from the Prime Minister about such a heinous, cold blooded murder of a British man by a savage from a shithole whose word was trusted over that of the white boy’s.

Again, these events are useful us because they show us how the hypocrite Left don’t actually give a shit who dies. But they make a huge issue of it when they can use it for their own agenda.

Nothing can change until this huge power the untouchable BBC activists have because of their enormous compulsory public funding is stopped.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cedp3lee059o

Another appalling pro-Muslim terrorist, anti-Trump article from the fat oaf who should have been put out to grass years ago.

I only checked it to see if he criticised Iran in any way. He didn’t. But the criticism of Trump is non-stop.

It’s the exact oppposite : he glorifies Iran as the ‘victim’ standing up to the American ‘oppressor’. Just look at the picture the article leads with:

    a5895d30-5db6-11f1-8b6d-5b89cbb85786.jpg.webp

It is precisely these BBC articles which promote hatred of Trump and embolden Muslims and looney-leftie students to take our streets in protest.

But every weasel word carefully chosen and vetted to heavily imply it. Not say it directly.

‘Trump is in a bind. He is enmeshed in the consequences of the gross blunder he made by going to war assuming an easy victory.’

‘Gross blunder’ BBC ?. Trump went to war to stop Iran getting a nuclear weapon Bowen you lying hypocrite. He hoped it would be easy but would have done it anyway. Shame on you for downplaying that crucial fact.

Add this to their article the other day where they have spent God knows how much time and money simply to try and prove the US has suffered more damage than they admit to. WTF ???. What about Iran BBC ?. You know, the terrorists.

I’m afraid it’s Mandelson Day on the newspaper front pages.

The Gruan wins top spot in the BBC’s online print press line-up. An outcome about as predictable as the hundred-year-old vampiric New Labour creature Mandelson’s appointment by Starmer as our US ambassador inevitably ending in both of them being out of a job. Twice bitten, don’t invite him back in a third time.

They may be big fans of the work of regime compliant graffiti artist Banksy – but Starmer apparently didn’t read the writing on the wall on this one.

There’s some scathing criticism of our failed PM to be found in the newly released documents. They read like an old school end of term bad report for a duff pupil – penned somewhat prior to the advent of lovey-dovey politically correct educationalists taking over our schools.

The Guardian alights on some relatively tame ‘could try harder’ complaint: Ex-US ambassador’s criticism of PM’s lack of ‘verve’

“Bitter Sweet Symphony” by The Verve is an anthem about the everyday struggle to find meaning in a monotonous, capitalist society. – thank you A.I.

The online-only virtual interloper in the BBC’s otherwise print press line-up the Independent picks out: Mandelson’s verdict on Starmer: ‘Bereft and beleaguered’

The BBC goes with that: ‘Beleaguered and bereft’ – Mandelson messages reveal criticism of No 10 (Kate Whannel, BBC Political reporter – with the flannel – they’ve decided they’ll try Burnham)

Giveaway freebie Metro goes with: PM branded ‘buckler’ amid 1,000 documents

Buckler…? I’m inevitably put in mind of On The Buses and Reg Varney’s comic antagonist Inspector Cyril “Blakey” Blake: “I ‘ate you, Butler!”

Maybe tomorrow we’ll get a feature on the habits of the Black Widow Spider?

The black widow spider got its name because the female sometimes kills and eats the male after mating. This cannibalistic behaviour leaves the female without a partner, resembling a human widow – thank you A.I.

How did we get from Peter Mandelson to black widow spiders?

The Indy likewise uses natural history themes to ram home a bit of leftist political campaigning : The dinosaur exhibition that will make you want to save our oceans

The FT is our go-to organ for news of election campaigns in far off countries of which we know little – and although we may never have heard of any of the local issues or contenders – there’s always the added implied editorial antipathy for any candidate or party standing even vaguely to the right: Supporters of Abelardo de la Espriella at a rally for Columbia’s presidential ballot. The rightwing populist… has praised Donald Trump, Argentina’s Javia Milei and El Salvador’s strongman Nayib Bukele… – and we can’t be having that.

Meanwhile the pink paper I like to characterise as the Brussels Trumpet or The Mid-Belgian Courier feels obliged to report: Oslo rethinks links to EU… The “crazy world” shaped by Donald Trump and Beijing is prompting Norway to reassess its ties with the bloc after two failed attempts to join, foreign minister… has said (FT)

Hey, A.I., how come Norway isn’t in the EU?

Norway is not in the EU because its citizens voted against joining in two historic referendums in 1972 and 1994. The electorate’s resistance centres on protecting domestic industries (like fishing and agriculture), maintaining sovereign control over natural resources (oil and gas), and avoiding the centralisation of power in Brussels

Of course our British politicians joined us up in a fait accompli – and when we’d had decades of bad experience of it – and eventually got a chance to say no, they fought like hell to keep us in.

And on a day when the Times goes with: Labour ‘only asks who can be taxed to pay benefits’

We’ll end on another animal analogy to the behaviours of people feature…

    Henry Nowak .

Although I’ve been travelling away from England I’ve been following the Henry Nowak killing . But this is biased BBC – So at the moment – let’s concentrate on the BBC non coverage of this Horror .

Was this horror covered daily by the national BBC ? No. Yet raises grave questions about policing behaviour as well as the carrying a knives .

Was the speech by Henry’s dad on the stairs of the court covered by the BBC ? No

Being – unfortunately – a close observer of the BBC – like being a Russian studying the soviet government – it’s as much about what the BBC doesn’t say ….

You can feel that the BBC has forced itself to give some ‘coverage ‘ of this Horror. But the absolute minimum- nothing from the local MP – nothing from the dirty Sikh ‘community ‘ – nothing from the Islamic home office – no statement in parliament –
Henry’s dad needs a really high profile lawyer to keep the pressure on to get the plod charged and convicted and sent to prison to meet their fate .

On ‘today ‘ Tuesday morning – the horror gets a mention about 4th in the headlines – but is read like it’s into the record – I get a sense of unease that the likes of Justin Webb – who is a real bored journalist – knows this horror must be properly covered .

The BBC will now hope the Horror goes away . It won’t . First those plod need to be identified – particularly the arresting plod who used handcuffs on a boy dying on the ground . That character must be identified – named – pictured – and get what he deserves …

    I need to stop now

By the way – the useless Tory ‘police commissioner ‘ has popped up and defended plod – bloody useless …

It has become very clear that some intense woke/diversity training is at work in the Police as she has been at loggerheads with he own family over some expressed mild concerns over race issues. It’s very disturbing to find someone like her basically embracing such values so readily.

I think there should be some sort of inquiry into what training is being given to the Police as well as what operational guidance is in action.

Police Race Action Plan: Improving Policing for Black People
        https://www.npcc.police.uk/our-work/police-race-action-plan/

The Police Race Action Plan is the biggest coordinated effort ever across every police force in England and Wales to improve trust and confidence in policing among Black communities.

Every Chief Constable has signed up to support the plan and achieve its objectives, the first time there has been such a coordinated, unified response across policing to making the vital improvements envisaged under the plan.

Policing is determined to become an anti-racist organisation that actively roots out bias and discrimination from our ranks.

        ………………….

The plan is broken down into four key areas, known as workstreams.

Culture and Workforce – a police service that is representative of Black people and supports its Black officers, staff and volunteers.
Powers and Procedures – a police service that is fair, respectful, and equitable in its actions towards Black people.
Trust and Reconciliation – a police service that routinely involves Black people in its governance.
Safety and Victimisation – a police service that protects Black people from crime and seeks justice for Black victims.

“The Police Federation of England and Wales dismissed its chief executive, Mukund Krishna, on May 31, 2026, following his March 4 arrest on suspicion of fraud by abuse of position.
The 46-year-old, the first civilian in the role with a £701,100 annual salary, was suspended days after the arrest alongside two others tied to senior PFEW positions; all deny wrongdoing and were bailed as the probe continues.
His tenure included pushing for 7% officer pay rises amid low morale,
but also controversies like unlawfully suspending federation chairs for free speech comments, costing over £500,000 in legal fees”

The CEO of the Police Federation of England and Wales has been suspended following his arrest as part of a fraud investigation.

In a statement on Monday, the federation confirmed Mukund Krishna had been suspended from his role “due to an ongoing police investigation”.

A man understood to be Mr Krishna, 46, was arrested by City of London Police last Wednesday on suspicion of fraud by abuse of power.

      …. Should we be worried….

      Published | 3 October 2012
      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-19815831

Mr Lammy, whose own father walked out, said after regularly visiting Feltham Young Offenders Institute he found that most, if not all, offenders did not have access to their fathers.

He also suggested that most of the people involved in last year’s London riots were from single parent homes.

Knife crime is spreading across the UK, with an average of four people stabbed to death every week.

For Idris Elba, this isn’t just a statistic – it’s personal. Growing up in east London, where violence was a constant threat, he understands the critical choices that shape futures. Aware of how easily his own path could have gone in a different direction, Idris – actor, campaigner and man determined to make a difference – embarks on a mission to confront this crisis.

Why is knife crime rising in so many places? How do we stop it? Can we balance punishment with prevention?

Predictably, the BBC are trying to make it all about “knife crime”.
Yep, it’s them criminal knives again.
Not race, ethnicity, religion, migrants from backward cultures, DEI, wokeism, police training; and of course the BBC’s own part in creating an environment where the mere accusation of racism trumps all other considerations, including common sense.

      To Hell With the Archbishop of Canterbury {slate.com feb2008}

In the midst of this dismal verbiage and euphemism, the plain statement—”There’s one law for everybody and that’s all there is to be said”—still stands out like a diamond in a dunghill. It stands out precisely because it is said simply, and because its essential grandeur is intelligible to everybody. Its principles ought to be just as intelligible and accessible to those who don’t yet speak English, in just the same way as the great Lord Mansfield once ruled that, wherever someone might have been born, and whatever he had been through, he could not be subject to slavery once he had set foot on English soil.

“The Britain I love is one that draws on our shared values of decency and tolerance.

I know that the events of the past week make this feel more uncertain, and I know that there are those who will seek to use those events to divide us further.

Let me be clear: I will always fight against those peddling division. Against those who look to turn neighbour against neighbour. And against those who challenge our values.

I am confident that, united in our communities, Britain will not simply withstand the challenges ahead, we will emerge from them stronger.”

      digg,

I knew about this rule for Sikhs, I believe Scotsmen are also allowed to carry their ceremonial knives (a sgian-dubh).

Also Protestants are allowed to bear arms and that is in the Bill of Rights 1688/9 no less. One of the Guinness book of record chaps (McWhirter) was going to take this to court before he got shot and murdered by the IRA.

“The footage at the heart of the Henry Nowak tragedy has been released, and it’s a savage indictment of modern Britain. A young lad lies bleeding out as DEI-trained police exhibit a cold, bureaucratic callousness only an evil system can instil. This is the end result of their liberal programming, and this is the future that awaits us and our children. We either unify and reject slop liberalism or fade away.”
