Weekend 30th May 2026

The bbc has clearly made an editorial decision not to mention the Henry Nowak murder at all – not in the news – nor the ‘paper review ‘ .
That’s one thing . But the political class is silent on it too – only Jenrick has mentioned it . The Sikh local MP is nowhere to be seen . she disabled her X account .

There are no ‘thoughts and prayers ‘ on this one . The names of the 2 women plod who finished Henry nowak off are no where to be seen – is there an injunction . ?

The call for the body cam pictures goes unanswered .

The family of the murdered teenager is silent ….

There must be something else going on with this case . Even the plod apology isn’t really one – as in – he was gonna die anyway – such a dismissive approach – like the whole tragic killing ..

    Couldn’t agree more.

Their website has nothing about the really serious issues this country is facing from unemployment, gross illegal immigration, eye-watering taxes on trivial items, two-tier justice for criminals, inane power costs, failing businesses, no leadership from the weakest PM we’ve ever known, scandals with too many politicians, (troughers in extremis), and that’s all just for starters.

The bBC is for limp-wristed clowns to gibber at while under the influence of their far-left delusion of self-righteousness.

4 the body cam footage will never be released

Fedup is absolutely right, the BBC don’t want to mention Henry Nowak at all. Like most of the MSM they’d clearly prefer it to be brushed under the carpet…

However, we all remember how overboard they went on over the death of American thug and druggie George Floyd, Jesus H Christ, it went on for months…and don’t get me started on Stephen Bloody Lawrence.

This “prospective architect” was “murdered by five white men” in April 1993, but there’s barely a week goes by when his name isn’t mentioned. You know, I couldn’t count how many black boys have been killed since then, but he’s the only name I remember…all the others were murdered by other blacks.

Just imagine the outpouring of fury if this poor little sod had been black or Asian. FFS, it would be wall to wall.

Meanwhile, poor young Henry will be destined to be tossed down the memory hole and very quickly forgotten.

Wrong racial victim, wrong racial killer…

US judge orders Trump’s name be removed from Kennedy Center
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/czr2je8lkvro

An alternative title for this BBC article dripping with TDS would be:

‘Democrat Judge orders Trump’s name be removed from Kennedy Center after case brought by Democrat Congresswoman.’

But you have to study this BBC article very carefully to find that out. It is so well buried (the affiliation of the Judge is given right at the very end, tacked on to another sentence) that it is 100% deliberate.

My new friend AI tells me:

Democratic Plaintiffs: The lawsuit was initiated by a prominent Democratic lawmaker, leading critics to view the case as a partisan effort to deny President Trump a symbolic honor.

Judicial Ideology: Because Judge Cooper was appointed by President Barack Obama and was previously associated with the progressive American Constitution Society, critics argue his judicial philosophy and personal leanings naturally favored the Democratic plaintiff.

Executive Discretion: Opponents of the ruling argue that the board of trustees, which included many presidential appointees, should have the administrative authority to manage the branding and physical upkeep of the facility without judicial interference.

If you listen to World Service you will get a different version. One that is no doubt closer to the truth (believe it or not from the BBC). The demented Man-Child in the White house is determined to get his name on as many public facing organisations / buildings as possible to satisfy his ego. The Kennedy Center is but one.

      • JohnC says:

Well my version is from AI G. So I doubt it is inaccurate.

But is that what really bothers you ?. What about the Iran war ?. The stakes for that could not get much higher – yet the Left would rather see him fail and Iran get nuclear weapons than agree with him. For anything. They are worse than spiteful children.

First Term (2017–2021): Democratic state AGs filed 138 multi-state lawsuits against Trump administration federal agencies.

Second Term (2025–Present): According to the Lawfare Litigation Tracker and Just Security Tracker, the second administration has already faced an onslaught of over 316 active cases challenging its policies. This includes coordinated multi-state actions targeting federal funding freezes, the elimination of the Department of Education, and tariff implementations.

At the end of the day, Trump was open and honest about what he would do. And he got elected on it both times despite the entire MSM being against him. And now he is doing it. It’s called democracy.

I can’t recall a single other government who did that. Sure he has a big ego – but IMHO he deserves a lot more than just his name on a building after what he has done. I only wish we had a Prime Minister who loves his country and it’s values as much as he does.

          John,

“Big ego” Does that account for all the bad planning / lack of foresight for the “Iran War”. Trump now stands alone. The facade no longer exists. The World can see what sort of man he is mentally. If there is anyone alongside Putin who would gladly drop the nuclear bomb it is him. Seems all the other tyrants are restrained by ……something…… but Trump? He would go for it as a whim. As for what Trump “has done”, we, in the Uk can only watch and wait to discover what his voters think about what he has achieved. November not long away. Then we will all know, by the people that really count, what they think about him.

I’d prefer to think of Trump now as the proverbial ‘Emperor with no clothes’

How much of the world do you think is now scared of the consequences at home if they support Trump?.
Not a single one has put forward an alternative.
Do you even accept that Iran will have a nuclear weapon soon if ‘good men do nothing’?
Or do you actually think that they will suddenly stop being terrorists intent on wiping Israel from the planet ?.
Maybe you agree with that, but do you seriously think it would stop there?.

By the day, I comment less on active events because Trump has pushed the world into total unpredictability. I say that, excluding one fact: It is the people of the World that will untimely pay the price of the reckless behaviour/motives of ‘World Leaders’. Always the case. Always.
Frankly John I couldn’t give a shit over what the World does. I now fall into the category of knowing my efforts and thoughts on what to do / suggesting ways out are utterly irrelevant within the scheme of things. At 80+, no living relatives to worry about and a growing clarity of thought, I no longer feel the need to debate.

UK militay is a wet lettuce but the Chinese commies demand their menfolk stand up for the nation in this Saturday edition

So intent on pushing the dangers of the internet is our BBC, that it hopes the audience fails to notice the awkward juxtaposition with the assisted dying agenda: ‘Poison seller’ who sold toxic chemicals online to people across world admits aiding suicides (Sean Dilley, Christina McSorley and Olivia Ireland tag teaming for the byline on this one which tops the BBC online news page)

Your Mr AsI of course relishes every instance of an awkward headline juxtaposition which helps put the lie to a cherished media narrative.

So while your BBC would have you pine for tighter state controls over the internet…

A man has pleaded guilty to 14 counts of aiding suicides… the former chef also sold about 1,200 packages of the toxic substances to recipients – who he met in online suicide forums (BBC)

You’ll never guess where this self-starter cottage industry minion to the grim reaper was based…

That’s right: Kenneth Law appeared at court in Ontario, Canada (BBC) – yep Canada… land of maple syrup, politeness, red-coated coppers, ice hockey fan violence, extreme Lockdowns… and euthenaisa on tap: BBC News reports on assisted dying in Canada, where some say it’s now easier to choose to die than get support to live… Critics say Canada is an example of the “slippery slope”, meaning that once you pass an assisted dying law it will inevitably widen its scope and have fewer safeguards. – admitted Fergus Walsh, Medical editor and Camilla Horrox, Global health producer, BBC, April 2025

But forget all that, today the agenda is: calling on the UK government to hold a public inquiry into the deaths, as he wanted authorities to “understand this issue and stop other people unfortunately suffering the loss of a family member due to a very preventable suicide”… Canadian detectives told the BBC in 2023 that Law ran multiple websites offering equipment and substances to help people end their lives.

Naturally our BBC in their inimitable folksy emotional style presents details of the sad stories of the alleged victims – apparently no fear now of contempt of court rules, ‘cos the guy pled guilty…

Ontario man A*******, 19, was one of Law’s victims who died by suicide in March 2023… “He was just such a super happy, really gentle soul, always looking to stand up for the underdog, the kids that got picked on,” his mother, K*******, told the BBC. A********’s mental health declined after the Covid pandemic LOCKDOWN [which was a government policy decision] – edited by your Mr AsI for privacy of the victim and his family and for historical accuracy

It is a long-running contention of Mr AsI that Lockdowns demoralised the British workforce. Seems Tory Brexiteer MEP now a peer Daniel Hannan is belatedly catching on to that notion: Six years on, the Covid lockdowns are still ruining our lives… My point is simply that, once again, we have pushed the lockdown from our minds… Until we confront the full consequences of those months, we will not grasp the depth of our predicament (Telegraph, March 2026)

UK military is so weak it is unable to defend itself, say allies – frets the left-leaning i paper – and to think they branded Liz Truss a wet lettuce.

The jokey blokey Daily Star (‘News with a wink’) cracked one good joke a couple of years back and still recycles it even to today: Lettuce heads to No 10

Our BBC likes the left-leaning virtual cuckoo in the nest in their otherwise print press review the Indy for top spot.

And it’s a gungho Russophobic splash – they do say it’s the empty vessels that make the most noise…

Putin pushes Nato to the brink… Romania drone attack… As Russian forces drive deeper into European territory… (Independent) – could that be Chris Morris’s satirical Brass Eye writing a comic re-run of his classic The Day Today “WAR!” ?

The Indy’s world affairs editor Sam Riley gets the byline but the fact that the in-the-tank for Labour Daily Miror (second choice of front page for the BBC today, natch) splashes with similar war drum banging alarmism suggests to this jaded old cynic that the Number 10 Coms Team are behind this one: A threat to all of us – yells the Mirror’s screamer: Starmer warns that Putin aggression is danger to ‘security of entire continent’

Sir Tony Blair would tend to disagree: “I don’t believe that president Putin, if the Ukraine war ends is going to come back and try and invade Europe. I don’t believe that personally.” (recent Times Radio interview)

And finally, on a lighter note, you have to hand it to the FT’s weekend edition, gifting us a headline containing more saucy innuendo than a Carry On movie script…

Durex sales deflate as China withdraws condom tax break to revive birth rate (FT)

The Chinese commies understanding something which seems to confuse our own First Female chancellor (when she raised tax on employment) – the fiscal rule that the more you tax something the less you get of it.

The Henry Nowak murder still gets not much msm attention – the sentencing is on Monday – but I think the ‘sentencing woke guidelines ‘ will give the Sikh murderer a discount for the killing – plus the defence will depict him as the usual nut job .

Maybe awareness of what happened will increase then . And perhaps the judge will pass down a sentence so soft as to demand an appeal over the sentence ….

Will the chief Constable put his responsibility on the line and release the footage ? And name the 3 Asian ? Plod involved ? And say whether they are still in post ?

The public deserve to know everything about this horror . The circumstances of the stabbing – awful – but the subsequent treatment of a victim who might have been saved – demands the whole truth …..
But it may take more horrors than this one to get plod to change . And when the next serious public disorder takes place – there won’t be much sympathy for plod – they’ve burnt through the support they once had …

I read a piece in the Telegraph recently where a young American student who had been a rabid anti Zionist pro Palestinian had taken a trip to Israel and the scales fell from her eyes and she is now a supporter of Israel’s right to exist. This conversion has cost her all her friends and her place at college.
Well done her but her piece does remind us of the power of propaganda and the urge , need, in humans to be part of a group even if that means suppressing your doubts and ignoring uncomfortable facts. For many being part of a group and thinking groupthink only liberates them from the taxing and unpleasant task of having to think for themselves.
This is why the BBC is so important to the establishment , it creates the necessary group think . It also why censorship of the internet is becoming key for the establishment’s survival . They can’t allow the group think to be continuously challenged . This also explains OFCOM’s neutering of GB News .

Ukraine using AI drones to strike vital convoys supplying Russian troops
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjp0n7rn41o

Here we have an excellent example of the real purpose of ‘BBC Verify’.

The message is this : we have verified that Ukraine are using AI drones to take out Russian trucks. It’s pure propaganda to lead us to believe Ukraine have made a major breakthrough and hence are winning.

But when you read the article, they have not verified the use of AI at all. They have verified that Ukraine have hit some trucks using drones. Which they have been doing for years now.

Then the article switches to telling us about this ‘AI drone’ which is quotations from ‘defence intelligence company Janes’ and ‘Ukraine’s innovative use of technology means the war is not a stalemate, according to George Barros from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW)’.

I’ve watched the ‘ISW’ from the start and they are so biased in what they say, I disregard their statements entirely now.

So there we have it : The BBC using the ‘reputation’ they have sold for ‘BBC Verify’ to mislead the public in favour of the agenda. Exactly as we all knew they would. They will keep on ‘verifying’ totally pointless things we all know must be true anyway – then periodically slip in misleading reports like this when the politics demands it.

The BBC reports that ‘football fans’ went on the rampage in Occupied Paris last night after the victory of PSG over Arsenal. Same thing happened last year when PSG beat Inter Milan. And in 2022 when the final didn’t even include any French teams but had the misfortune to be played in the fallen city. Emotions can run high in such games, perhaps resulting in a pitch invasion or the odd pre-match punch-up in a bar, but as president-in-waiting Marine Le Pen observed: “Only in France does a football club’s victory spark riots. Only in France does everyone feel compelled to lock themselves in their homes on the evening of a victory to avoid being confronted with violence”.
So the question is why? And the reason, studiously avoided by the BBC and other controlled media, is that most of those rioting are not football fans and many of them are not even French (put it this way, they won’t be wearing berets, striped t-shirts and carry a baguette and a bag of onions). Rather, the Champions League final and other events, such as Bastille Day (famous for its car burnings) have become events in which a mysterious group called ‘Youths’ by the French media and authorities demonstrate the cultural enrichment that all Europeans crave.

All they care about is if they can use it as part of their own Leftist political agenda. If they can, they’ll run it every day and add plenty of empathy porn around it. If it doesn’t fit, they just drop it – as they have in this case.

Sturgeon tells BBC: I’m serving a sentence for crime I didn’t commit
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c2027k1ev3zo

I see the BBC have given Krankie a soapbox and ‘friendly’ reporting which money simply could not buy (well, only billions from taxpayers anyway). The vile Kuenssberg has really pushed the boat out for this one : she’s even resorted to the empathy-porn trick:

‘Scotland’s former first minister refused to apologise for the scandal and struggled to hold back tears, recalling gifts from Peter Murrell that turned out to have been purchased with stolen money.’

‘Sturgeon told the BBC: “I am not responsible for the crimes that my former husband committed and I’m not going to apologise for somebody else’s crimes.”‘

‘Asked if she bore no responsibility at all despite her role, Sturgeon told the BBC: “No… [Murrell] perpetrated a crime on the SNP. By definition, that included me as the party leader. He misled. He deceived.’

“He is serving and will be serving a sentence for a crime he committed. I’m out here feeling as if I’m serving a sentence for a crime I did not commit.”

It just goes on and on saying the same thing again and again.

‘Sturgeon became emotional when speaking to the BBC about a necklace gifted to her by Murrell that cost more than £400 and which she often wore in public.’

‘She struggled to hold back her emotion, before continuing: “Sorry. I loved that necklace and I wore it a lot.’

It’s just blatant. How about asking her why she wouldn’t answer any questions from the police after she said she would cooperate fully Laura ?.

Exactly like they did for Starmer when everyone else was telling him he should resign.

It seems the further Left you are and the more you hate white English people, the more the BBC like you.

I can only imagine the tone if it was Boris or Farage in her seat. In the short video they show, Kuenssberg is sat nodding in agreement as Krankie whines then speaks softly with the next question. No constant interruptions or sharp comments from a very unfriendly face for her.

    Art for politics sake

Who remembers the vintage BBC kids show Vision On with presenters Pat Keysell, Wilf Lung and Tony Hart (never a whiff of scandal) that would have the segment called “The Gallery” where to the soothing jazzy soundtrack “Left Bank Two” by Wayne Hill (recorded by The Noveltones) they’d showcase young viewers artworks? Just asking. I think if I were ever invited onto Desert Island Disks that might have to be one of my picks. More on that long running BBC Radio 4 show later.

While Street artist Banksy (BBC) is allowed to express “a little bit of politics” – as celebrated 1980s Thatcher-critical comic Ben Elton used to say…

Banksy has confirmed a large statue that appeared in central London is his work. The sculpture – which bears his signature – depicts a suited man walking forward off a plinth while carrying a flag that covers his face. Its location – Waterloo Place, St James’s – is an area designed to celebrate imperialism and military dominance in the 1800s… James Peak, creator of the BBC podcast series The Banksy Story, said: “Here, you’ve got a brilliant comment on a bumptious, chest puffed out man in power with the flag completely obscuring his vision, which is why he is about to fall off the plinth. He added Banksy had “pulled off another fantastic coup… the positioning is absolutely knockout”. he added: “We’ve got to face up to the fact that Britain has an imperialistic history full of takeovers and part of that is the sort of extreme nationalism that Banksy absolutely abhors.”Every (Banksy) piece is a campaign.”… On its meaning, many interpreted the statue as a commentary on “blind patriotism”. (posh named BBC girl Aurelia Foster, London) – suffice to say, a massive thubs up from the BBC

Officially sanctioned and promoted: Westminster City Council, which is responsible for the area, said: “We’re excited to see Banksy’s latest sculpture in Westminster, making a striking addition to the city’s vibrant public art scene. “While we have taken initial steps to protect the statue, at this time it will remain accessible for the public to view and enjoy.” (BBC)

All in rather stark contrast with this example of guerrilla art with a political slant: ‘There’s no place for this’: MLA calls for ‘immediate removal’ of ‘racist’ display at children’s playpark (Kirsty King, The Irish news)

We’re talking: One side of the image shows a group of white families and children playing in a bright and colourful playpark, while the other side shows several men, believed to represent Muslims, in a darkly coloured setting alongside a sign with the words “not welcome, not wanted, not here”.

Admittedly, it’s not da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, or Michelangelo’s David – but nor was the Banksy scupture.

Former Provos in alliance with the Peelers

Officially condemned and discouraged: A Fermanagh and South Tyrone MLA has slammed the erection of a ‘racist’ banner which claims Muslims are not welcome and has called for its immediate removal. The offensive banner was put up in a children’s play park in the village of Moygashel near Dungannon earlier this week and is being treated as a ‘hate incident’ by the PSNI. Sinn Féin MLA Colm Gildernew said there is “no place” in society for “racism”. “It is the responsibility of all political representatives and community leaders to strongly condemn this banner and call for its immediate removal”, he said. Those who erected this vile banner have nothing to offer our society.”

Credit where credit is due the Irish Times. While our BBC has nothing but glowing reviews for Banksy’s politically motivated efforts at least we get the counter argument in respect of the Ulster mural banner: A picture of the display has been shared online, with an accompanying message posted on a Moygashel Bonfire Association social media page reading: “Call us racist, call us ‘far right’. Your labels carry no weight here. “Protecting our women and children is a fundamental duty that overrides any political label, insult or smear designed to silence honest concern. We will never apologise for putting our women and children’s lives and well-being ahead of your political correctness.” (Irish Times)

Her voice trembled with emotion when talking about the lovely necklace he’d bought her…well, in truth, the people that fund the SNP had bought her.

“BERLIN — Two weeks ago, German intelligence agents noticed an unusual user in a chat room known as a digital hideout for Islamic militants. The man claimed to be one of them — and said he was a German spy. He was offering to help Islamists infiltrate his agency’s (In April 2016, the man began working for the BfV, assigned to monitoring potentially violent Islamists in Germany.) defenses to stage a strike.

Agents lured him into a private chat, and he gave away so many details about the spy agency — and his own directives within it to thwart Islamists — that they quickly identified him, arresting the 51-year-old the next day. Only then would the extent of his double life become clear.

It’s not only a rather bizarre, but also a quite scary, story that an agency, whose central role it is to engage in counterespionage, hired an Islamist who potentially had access to classified information, who might have even tried to spread Islamist propaganda and to recruit others to let themselves be hired by and possibly launch an attack”
