Start the Week 8th June 2026

The World Cup starts this week . An opportunity for the Starmer regime and the BBC to divert public attention away from the DEI treatment of Henry Nowak – to return to ‘business as usual’ … but let’s hope the cold fury remains. Other countries have reacted with fury to that obscene video footage but if you see or read the British mainstream media you’d never know …

I am here, so send me to the top of the new Thread. The BBC are very wasteful on recruitement and salaries paid to the BBC people. The BBC, like most of the MSM are anti-Israel, anti- Farage/Reform, pro Labour and anti-President Trump of the USA. Defund the BBC! Cancel your TellyTax right now. 🙂

Three cheers for Henry Nowak and R.I.P. Henry

A Christian police support officer was accused of being racist after asking questions about Islam during a diversity training session – despite assurances he was in a ‘safe space’ to do so.

He also claims he was ‘shut down’ when he turned the conversation to Islamist groups, the situation in Gaza and tackling antisemitism, while separately he said his Christian faith led to one of his colleagues ‘making the assumption’ he was also ‘homophobic’.

Salmons, 46, was suspended just two days after taking part in a training day in October 2024 on race, religion and culture before being found guilty of gross misconduct and barred from working in policing ever again.

The father-of-two from Harrogate appealed and had the decision overturned last December. But months later he says he has still not received an apology from North Yorkshire Police for being ‘pushed out’ and ending the career he loved.

Mr Salmons, who said he was ‘absolutely gutted’ at having to leave his role as a PCSO after eight years with the force, believes his fellow officers are working within a ‘culture of fear’ where ‘only approved views are permitted’.

His case has come to light as hundreds of police officers revealed they have felt ‘controlled and pressured to be certain ways’ during mandatory diversity

A survey of the more than 6,000 Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary officers who participated in a diversity training course revealed that one in seven (16 per cent) had felt ‘controlled and pressured’ to adopt certain ideas during the teaching.

The officers work for the same force that faces condemnation over the handcuffing of innocent teenager Henry Nowak as he lay dying.

Recalling the day that would ultimately end his policing career, Mr Salmons said the session, run by an external provider at the police headquarters in Northallerton, had invited a Muslim sergeant along as a guest speaker – and participants were ‘actively encouraged’ to ask questions.

Speaking to Daily Mail, he said: ‘All the questions that I asked were completely relevant to policing. At the time, the situation in Gaza was at its height.

‘As a PCSO, you’re the first person that comes into contact with the public on the street, so you’ve got to be able to understand both sides. I wanted to be able to give answers in a fair way.

‘I thought by asking questions to understand more about these things I can do that – and who better to ask about Islam than a Muslim? But I got shot down for wanting to understand because it wasn’t in their narrative.’

Salmons said he had asked for the sergeant’s thoughts on Hamas, Isis and other Islamic terrorist groups, as a peaceful Muslim, in order to ‘understand the tensions that are on the street’.

He also asked the police sergeant to explain ‘jihad’, having heard the term used in conversation while out on patrol.

‘Everything was respectful, nothing was controversial,’ he said.

As the discussion developed, he further asked about anti-Semitism and how the Labour government was seeking to tackle the issue given the surge in hate crimes following the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023.

I was then told that I was being political by asking that question, but it was relevant because we’re dealing with anti-Semitism on the street. What the government does obviously filters into how we react and respond.

‘It was not being political, it was being sensible in asking how are we working together to tackle these important issues.

‘If you can’t have important conversations about important issues to help you do your job better then what’s the point of a training course?’

Describing the conversation as ‘respectful but robust’, Mr Salmons said he enjoyed engaging with the sergeant during the session and was invited by him to continue their chat over coffee.

Salmons said he believed he was ‘in a safe space’ to exchange their views – but was left ‘shocked and betrayed’ when he was reported by the sergeant for being ‘combative and critical of the views expressed in the training’.

The next day he said he was summoned to a meeting with a female inspector.

‘She’d taken me into the office, and not explained why I was going in there. She sat me down and basically the first thing she said to me was, “I don’t like your beliefs,” while pointing her finger at me.

‘She said that several times, and then she said, “I don’t like your beliefs in Lgbtq.

I’d not even had that conversation with her.

‘It was very bizarre. The only conclusion I could draw is that she knew I was a Christian and assumed that I have quite conservative views.

‘The irony is that I never actually spoke about my beliefs. I treat everyone with respect and dignity, no matter who they are, no matter what their sexuality.’

Without further opportunity to speak, Mr Salmons was told to hand in his police ID and return home. He was formally suspended the next day.

betrayed,’ recalled Mr Salmons. ‘I had somebody who was asking me questions, being really enthusiastic and inviting me to continue the conversation – but then they suddenly turned and say something completely different behind my back.

‘When something like this happens you feel very undermined. You feel you can’t trust people. Within the nine principles of policing, one of them is honesty and integrity. Well, where’s the honesty and integrity there?’

Suspended on full pay, Mr Salmons said his case was ‘dragged out’ over the next 10 months. He eventually resigned in April 2025 after the ‘silence, the delay and the pressure became unbearable for my wife and daughters.’

In July 2025, a disciplinary hearing found he had committed gross misconduct and barred him from serving in the police again.

A very grim and disturbing case which highlights how the senior police see their role as being the enforcement of Wokist ideology .
One thing which has disturbed me for years is why more serving police officers are not anonymously blowing the whistle . There are now plenty of ‘alternative’ news outlets who would run with such stories and could be relied upon not to reveal their sources.
I can fully understand why the front line dare not step out of line openly , the above post shows the risks of doing so.
But The impression the public has is that most of the lower ranks in the police believe in the Woke , pro minorities , anti white policies set by their superiors. Not that they are reluctantly going with the flow but that they are as keen as mustard on them.

It takes a while but you can change the demographic through tightly controlled advertising and recruitment. I do not want to alarm anyone but do you remember the armed forces adverts of about five years ago where they were looking to recruit personnel with fluid pronouns – anyone except staright males. If they were successful then there will be planty of Hugo Chavez’s coming through the ranks.

On the last thread some comments were about getting books from charity shops.

One of the advantages of getting older is I can read a book and then, a few years later can read it again and still enjoy it.

I have the complete Flashman set and the complete Tom Sharpe set plus a fair amount from Orwell and the likes of Huxley. I get to read the lot every few years and although the plots are in my memory I can still enjoy them.
A bit like watching a good film after a few years (Life of Brian, The Graduate, Blazing Saddles etc)

Something for the ‘young’uns’ on here to look forward to.

Foreign series shown on Walter Presents on Ch 4 are not bad if you don’t mind the sub titles. They tend to have many fewer ethnics .

    Power corrupts
And that happens in large orgs like the police and the BBC
I happened to meet a random guy today and he got into telling me the Rotherham and Sheffield police have been corrupt for years.
Reckons he was a mildly bad lad and saw amazing things : like fitting up boys who were entirely innocent , vicious beatings .. local people afraid to speak up as the police looked after their own mates
He reckoned they knew about child rape gangs but weren’t interesting justice.
He then went on to say he had inside information from the Hillsborough sister control room about police trying to prevent some results going in etc.

This ties into the amazing error by the Utal Mormon police where they said they would release redacted footage of their interactions with YouTube Reckless Ben
But then accidentally left a folder publicly available named “unredacted videos”
This revealed institutional corruption Firstly that they lied about the reasons for redactions.
And secondly they the AF police broke laws as they acted just for the Mormon mates, but didn’t behave like total fascists.
Like although they made false traffic and drug stops.

  8. Ian Rushlow says:

Liberal/Leftist causes invariably go through four phases:

Phase 1: They ask for understanding by the wider society. As the cause may have some merit and most people are basically tolerant, they go along. e.g. homosexuals were discriminated against and the average person typically doesn’t care what people get up to in the privacy of their own homes, so they go along with it.

Phase 2: They then ask not just for tolerance, but for equality e.g. same sex marriages, or that ethnic minorities should have the same rights as the indigenous population. Again, most people don’t really have a problem with this as it just seems ‘fair’ (even if they don’t approve of some of it).

Phase 3: The third stage is to demand special treatment. For example, it’s claimed that equality is not enough and that because of ‘historical injustices’ certain groups need a boost to get them over the line. This is usually at the expense of other groups, resulting in concepts such as positive discrimination (sic) and DEI.

Phase 4: The final stage is to purge/eliminate the opposition. This might include the removal of free speech and the use of censorship; cancel culture; direct and indirect discrimination against the majority population; mission creep into new areas e.g. sexual liberation now has to extend to paedophilia. In some cases it is literally the elimination of opponents or perceived enemies e.g. the murder of the natives, death squads, concentration camps.

So, expect to see more doubling down by the establishment as it tries to make people ‘un-see’ the significance of the death of Henry Nowak.

The good thing is, that these days, with the way-over-priced TV tax, exorbitant commercial TV fees, paywalls on the rags, etc., more and more people are just not bothering with the MSM, and now follow the better websites for their news.

The beeboid bias, and a couple of others – so I’m told – is becoming an irrelevance as well, because the general assumption is, that they’ll just continue their tiresome TDS, pro-left-wing bias, poor actors and programmes, wokery and misrepresentation and bumptious self-satisfied presenters – and a few shifty ones as well – so this is where ‘X’ and several others are gaining traction by the day!

I was trying to work through the ‘template ‘ the far left use for some horror – such as Henry Nowak

      1 ignore
      2 when this fails – ‘deny ‘
      3 divert
4 when divert fails – accuse – eg using event for politicsl ends
5 engage in argument with ‘accused ‘
6 hope issue goes away in time – news cycle
7 if this fails find an ‘incident ‘ to counter event ( eg ‘hate incidents – street disorder
      8 – divert – again by blaming’incident ‘ on opponents
      9 concede something minor
10 hide behide directly affected party ( bereaved family )
11 divert again by accusing opponent of something – eg division
12 try – ‘isolated ‘/ one off incident
      13 float ‘inquiry
14 argue about nature of ‘inquiry ‘
      15 announce ‘inquiry ‘
16 bury issue in ‘inquiry ‘ process
      17 ensure ‘inquiry ‘ takes ages –
18 prep ground for publication of inquiry
19 publish inquiry when no one looking
      20 announce review of inquiry
      21 go with ‘lessons learnt
      22 promise change
      23 ensure nothing changes
      24 repeat .

      How about this?

C of E church in West Londonistan decides to encourage Asian heritage Christians to join.
      Over time numbers increase.
A special Asian worker is employed, mainly focussing on Pakistanis.
The soft left naive CofE vicar et al think they are doing good.
Numbers of Asians increase. more BAME initiative workers are hired.
Special Asian meetings are held on a Friday.
Finances are still largely covered by the white congregation making regular gift-aided contributions.
But bit by bit their numbers ‘mysteriously’ dwindle.
      So income reduces.
And now the church is no longer a going concern.
The finance committee and then the PCC approve a redundancy plan to remove the Asian workers.
But now the Pakistani Asians are in the majority.
There is uproar. Not remotely interested in the church as a whole but only their own culture and preferential treatment they organise a corrupt vote to oust the old PCC and fill the new one with their place men. Ballot papers are shredded ‘ owing to GDPR’ without checking voters against the church electoral roll ( to ensure voter validity). People who have never been seen before turn up to vote and the leave straightaway. The newly ‘elected’ PCC take over the committees including finance.
The few remaining whites in the congregation reduce still further and so does their regular financial contributtions
The Asians rejoice. They are in total control.
The CofE is too blind, stupid, fearful, and self-righteous to do anything about it.

More than 4 stages I admit but the above is not invented. It has actually happened. The final stage was a couple of weeks ago.

The reality of diversity and multiculturalism.

The other thing to mention is the close ties of people like the mafia with groups such as stonewall.

When homosexuality was illegal then mafia run clubs were frequented by gays who would tolerate practices such as watered down drinks at high prices.

Fighting gay rights are also very profitable for other criminal groups such as our legal mafia.

    Immigration update.

This morning I visited our very useful corner shop, manned by BAME staff for as long as I can remember.

There was hardly any milk so I asked the server if there was any full cream as opposed to semi-skimmed. She was a presentable presumed Indian young woman, mid 20s.

Here’s the thing. She hardly spoke English and didn’t know the difference between semi-skimmed and full cream milk.

So what exactly is she doing in this country working in a corner shop?

She’s obviously not British from her language skills.
She hasn’t fled due to persecution.
India is no more dangerous than, say, Southampton on a night out.
Working in a shop doesn’t require doctors or engineers.

    Open door immigration writ large.
But you try querying this with the local council and just wait for the leftist and/or ‘outraged’ BAME activists to come knocking.

      https://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/news/26167876.reading-store-trouble-afghan-asylum-seeker-caught-working/

The owner of a store in Reading is in trouble after a man who illegally entered the UK from Afghanistan was caught working behind the counter.
The Reading Express is a convenience store along Oxford Road within easy walking distance of the town centre.

The store has a licence to sell alcohol from 6am to 11pm each day.

The licence is held by Ravindar Singh Arora, who is the designated premises supervisor.

But the business is in trouble with Reading Borough Council, Thames Valley Police and immigration officers after a man from Afghanistan was caught working at the store.

A report by licensing officer Anthony Chawama states the man entered the UK in May 2018 with no documents, seeking asylum.

However, his claim was rejected in July 2020. While this would have made him liable for deportation, he appealed this and is currently awaiting a decision on his immigration status.

He was caught serving customers during an inspection by council licensing officers and Home Office immigration enforcement officers on Wednesday, March 11.

Mr Chawama’s report states: “During the visit, officers encountered an employee from Afghanistan working behind the counter and serving customers.

“The individual stated that he was not employed at the premises and was only assisting the shop owner.

U.S. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, warned on June 6 that “Sadly, today, different European beaches are stormed by different dangerous ideologies,” Hegseth said during a speech in France commemorating the invasion of Normandy during World War II. “Beaches in Spain and Italy and Greece and Bulgaria. Boats and men arrive. When will European capitals do something about that invasion? Or is it too late? I pray not, and I believe not.”

Trump said “On immigration, you better get your act together or you are not going to have Europe anymore,” Trump told reporters while in Scotland. “But you are allowing it to happen to your countries. You have to stop this horrible invasion that is happening to Europe, many countries in Europe. … This immigration is killing Europe.”

Starmer says he is preparing Britain for War with Russia, and will only defend the country if Russia sends small boats full of Russians. The Royal Navy confirms that it will not house Russian invaders in Hotels, unless they are rapists of the Islamic faith.

Andrew Gilligan asks why an organisation like the National Association of Muslim Police (NAMP) is allowed to be anywhere near the profession of law enforcement.
NAMP has branded Zionism “one of the manifestations of anti-Muslim hatred, stripping Muslims of their humanity”.
These inflammatory claims were made in a NAMP policy paper on “confronting anti-Muslim hatred”, which also described the Israel Defense Forces as a “Zionist terrorist group”.
The organisation is affiliated with at least 16 of Britain’s 43 police forces and has a formal national role within policing. It has also received praise from the College of Policing.
NAMP works with the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC), including through workshops and presentations to the NPCC’s counter-terrorism advisory group. It has called for the term “Islamist terrorism” to be abandoned, arguing that “its use by the police contributes to faith hate crime”.
As Gilligan notes, this is despite the fact that, since 1999, 94 per cent of terrorist deaths in Britain have been caused by Islamists.
Policy Exchange’s David Spencer has argued that a central element of the crisis consuming British policing is the diversion of officers from their core task: keeping the public safe, preventing crime and catching criminals. NAMP and its agenda are a clear example of that distraction.

      AlterAI reports:

Old Bailey Central Criminal Court 2: Roman Lavrynovych, Petro Pochynok and Stanislav Carpiuc

All three face conspiracy to damage property by fire between 1 April and 13 May 2025. Additionally, Roman Lavrynovych (22) alone faces charges of damaging two properties by fire with intent to endanger life on 11 and 12 May 2025.

The alleged targets were all connected to then-Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer: His former Toyota Rav4, torched 8 May 2025 in Kentish Town. Flats in Islington where he previously lived (11 May). His Kentish Town home, then rented to his sister-in-law (12 May).

The older member of the three, Petro Pochynok, of Holloway Road, Islington, is a fashion entrepreneur. Roman Lavrynovych, of Sydenham, London, worked as a roofer and male model. Stanislav Carpiuc, of Chadwell Heath, Romford, completed a business degree at Christ Church University in Canterbury, graduating in the January before his arrest in May, and was a construction worker for his brothers company, Vicontex Ltd, as well as an aspiring actor and male model.

Petro Pochynok (35) — testified 15 May (interrupted over interpreter concerns, resumed 26 May). His defence: he thought he was helping with “heavy suitcases.” Claims he only realised what was happening when Lavrynovych handed him a phone already in camera mode, at which point he briefly filmed Lavrynovych moving away from the burning car, then “threw the phone on the floor and ran away because he didn’t want to participate in a crime.” Notably told the court Starmer was a “friend of Ukraine” and that “Putin is a terrorist.”

Stanislav Carpiuc (27) — gave evidence 27 May. Told the court Lavrynovych “begged” him to film the car arson. His response: “pure stupidity.” He refused, told Lavrynovych it was a “very serious crime,” and claims he was working a hotel night shift when the car was torched. He passed Lavrynovych’s contact to Pochynok but insists he wanted nothing to do with it. Denies any involvement in the two house fires, says he was out drinking both nights.

Roman Lavrynovych (22) — the only defendant who admits starting all three fires. His defence is essentially duress/entrapment: he claims a shadowy Russian-speaking Telegram contact calling himself “El Money” recruited and paid him, and that he was threatened. He says he didn’t even know who Keir Starmer was.

The prosecution’s case centres on Telegram messages between the defendants and this “El Money” figure — a Russian-speaking recruiter who: Offered payment in crypto. Demanded the attacks be filmed and make the news. After the final fire, messaged Lavrynovych: “Look, you attacked the home of a very high-ranking person in Britain. I’ll send you money, you need to leave the city”
Told him if arrested to write the code word “geranium” and a lawyer would be sent. Advised him to “throw away the clothes”.

The three defendants’ relationships: Carpiuc and Pochynok were long-term friends. Lavrynovych was the newcomer — Pochynok says he’d only met him once before. Carpiuc admits passing Pochynok’s contact details to Lavrynovych.
The trial is ongoing. All three deny the conspiracy charge. Lavrynovych admits the fires but denies intent to endanger life. The prosecution’s challenge is connecting Carpiuc and Pochynok to a conspiracy rather than mere association after the fact — both claim they were pulled in unwittingly by Lavrynovych’s desperation for cash to pay his father’s medical bills.

The “El Money” figure remains unidentified — a ghost in the Telegram machine. Whether this was a Russian state-linked operation, organised crime, or something else entirely remains one of the trial’s hanging questions.

I wonder, in about a hundred years, will we have Farage on our banknotes.

I know the banks are keen to remove the likes of Churchill and replace it with a frog or something but if we are still a British Island and haven’t been taken over future generations may well look back to these times and realise Farage saved the UK just as Churchill did and should be ranked up there with Nelson and Drake.

Everything is crap here and has been contaminated by the woke edi lot. All the public services are riddled with them, I don’t need to list them all because we all know what’s happening.

If Farage wins in 2029 we have a chance to save the UK.
If the left get in again the future looks extremely bleak.

It’s a huge job to change just about everything that’s been taken over but Nigel can do it. I wish Lowe would at least work with him.

If he does save the UK he would deserve a Sainthood (after a decent time of course)
Nobody else can save the UK.
Kemi only has about 20% of her Party who see what’s happening, the rest are wets.
Lowe needs another 10+ years as he’s not ready yet and by the time he is it could be too late.

Clearly the far-Left Sarah Smith is another BBC narcissist as she seems to want to make a video all about herself when the story does not warrant it at all. There is no reason whatsoever for this guff to be a video.

First thing you notice is that – like all the others – there is something not quite normal about her. She is odd.

Then watch her face go all smug as she actually baits Trump by stating herself that ‘Netanyahu defied Trump’. Just watch her face throughout the video : she seems to think she is the one with all the cards dealing with someone inferior to herself. Her face lights up with glee when she thinks she has outwitted him. When she has done nothing of the sort.

Another one I dislike intensely 30 seconds after hearing them speaking. And I have found that the older I get, the more reliable my quick impressions are.

It’s quite sickening how the Labour party and the BBC are using the grief of the family to shut down debate about the Norvak case. The statement from Henry Norvak of ‘”It is not a case about Sikhism, it is not a case about racism, it’s a case about murder.” is not actually from him, he’s repeating what his lawyer said. And it actually refers to the murder. Not the subsequent behaviour of the police. I think someone had a chat with him before he went public. It’s odd how he quickly made a statement which could then be used for the predictable outrage of the Right.

West Ham co-owner accused of preying on a string of women – and there we was thinking he were a dyed-in-the-wool ‘Iron’ (maybe that’s because we were Londoners?)

Denials: Billionaire David Sullivan… Alleged victim… see page 5 (Daily Mail) – sadly beyond our front page remit. All alleged of course, although when the screamer headline goes with accused of (as opposed to charged with) alleged is, to my mind, somewhat redundant.

BBC news online page double dips with two top headline articles on this story while the Times, Panorama’s investigative partner in crime, splashes big time on the chap your Mr AsI always liked to nickname Dirty Barry – there’s one for dedicated followers of the comic antics of the Trotter Brothers.

But, forsaking all the fluff (and the fluffers?) and turning back to what the Beeb would tend to promote as serious news for a moment, our BBC does enjoy a bit of fun with flags and one can’t ignore the fact the Gruan is back at the top of the BBC’s print press line-up…

Zelenskyy takes aim at Reform UK’s ‘mistake’ on Ukraine flags (Guardian top headline story today) – by the way various other spellings of the name Zelensky are still available – although apparently foreign policies other than endless costly proxy war are not.

The Guardian doesn’t do anything quite as gauche as to shout this one as an exclusive – but I don’t see it anywhere else.

Mistake on Ukraine flags? Have district councils been hoisting the old blue and yellow upside down? That’s a signal of distress, you know.

…decision by some Reform UK councils to take down the Ukrainian flag was the kind of “small mistake” that can “break a big friendship” (Guardian)

Who would have guessed the war leader struggling to hold onto the Donbas took such an interest in English local town hall flag display policies?

The Ukrainian president tempered his rare foray into UK domestic politics by stressing how much the two countries needed each other… (Gruan)

    Our cash, their blood.

Come on Volodymyr, don’t by shy, give us your take on our district council pot holes policies, wheelie bins, planning applications and council tax banding?

To be fair to Zelensky, you can be pretty sure he will only have come out with this comment after prompting: In an interview with the Guardian after talks with Keir Starmer… nudge…nudge…

What was that favourite line from children’s comic tv entertainer Brian Conley…? “It’s a puppet!”

The problem is that we saw Sir Keir’s lips move.

What he did not do is answer any part of her question and the Speaker said nothing. No requirement to answer the question. No reprimand for talking irrelevant waffle. Nothing

At least we have media to hold power to acc… oh.

The claim is a lie. More than that, it is also blackmail.

And what happens when state media walks past statues in the foyer and become state propagandists

Just to quote the great Kathryn Porters own words:

So what’s the point? If ministers and the PM are allowed to simply say any old rubbish when asked a question and not even pretend to answer it, why bother with the whole charade? Why bother with Parliament? Why not just have a few committees drafting legislation and taking evidence from third parties?

By allowing this, the Speaker’s Office is reducing the House of Commons into meaningless spectacle. It’s simple theatre without substance and without purpose

    Today

The Nigerian leader of the blue end of the uniparty wants to do something … apparently there’s an ‘equality ‘ act which looks after ‘protected groups ‘ .. this means you can stab a non protected person – such as a white boy on his way home – kill him – and play the ‘protected group ‘ ( race ) card with plod – get them to turn up – arrest him – handcuff him – and kill him ..

It’s the eternal problem of a woke idea becoming law and either ignoring likely consequences of disregarding them in the name of ‘cohesion ‘.

The Nigerian blue sounds so much like an upper sixth head girl who has had elocution lessons . Really Grates .

She wants to keep this lefty ‘equality ‘ act – presumably for her tribe – but me ? Less laws please ….

Our Justin did the interview – doing the required incredulity act in accordance with BBC guidelines . Of course – no questions about two tier plod – for the left – they are a protected group ….
.. not the dumb evil occupation anti white army they have become ….

There was also something about the latest censorship by the red end of the uniparty – she favours this – to protect the children – not those raped and tortured by Pakistani rape gangs of course ….

The interview was just a reminder of never voting dead blue again …
