I no longer know what is real and what isn’t. I assume Andy Burnham showing us around his new office and suddenly realising the screen was showing what he was looking at on his computer was AI…..wasn’t it?

And how in a week did Mr Burnham able to staff his new office, arrange security and even buy the paper clips. This has obviously been set in train before Starmer had resigned. Who approved the budget.

And if I was Mrs Burnham I would be worried about Ms Romeo always standing next to Andy in the photos and looking at him with adoring eyes, as in tonight’s Mail on Line. I don’t think I have seen previous cabinet secretaries looking at other PMs in quite the same way.

‘Atmospheric thirst’ driven by climate change edition

Have the Greens all gone away on their holidays? We haven’t heard a word from them for quite a while now.

The BBC celebrates the lack of diversity in our press.

Today at the top of the BBC’s newspaper line-up we witness three titles, Mirror, Guardian and Times, each referencing the same news story in their front page full colour feature photos.

It should perhaps be no surprise that our BBC seeks to highlight and emphasise their own current news en vogue, cause célèbre, topic du jour

More than 220,000 evacuated in France and Spain due to wildfires – reads the BBC news online top story.

Police declare ‘major incident’ as wind change increases Cairngorms wildfire risk – reads the BBC number two top item. Wind change…? Well, you’ve heard of climate change.

‘Summer of chaos’ – is the BBC’s favourite quote picked from all the press headlines. Are you getting the message?

Not only are the BBC’s top three picks from the newspaper front pages carrying feature photos that are ‘wild fire’ themed – but they insist on presenting the exact same photo. Things don’t need to be this way. Sky News online have a newspaper line up – and the ordering of titles is different to the BBC’s.

In-the-tank for Labour Daily Mirror swerves local politics (Burnham’s on his honeymoon with a ‘Not To Be Disturbed’ notice hanging from the knocker of his Number 10 Up North) and instead the socialist tabloid gifts the BBC their Summer of chaos line.

    It’s almost mirroring the Shakespearean…

Winter of discontent… Public sector pay strikes: NHS Consultants Threaten Strikes as Union Demands £166,000 Pay and Shorter Working Week… secured a mandate for industrial action after voting in favour of strike action (Redditch Standard, 7th July); Energy Blackouts: Net zero blackout fears mean energy suppliers could ration heating for 361,200 homes over winter (The Sun)

But let’s concentrate on the near enough here and now…

Heatwave hell – tells us where the Labour red top is going with these tidings of chaos.

Thousands queue for Europe getaways… as wildfires force Brits to flee hols resorts (Mirror) – headline writers tend to lose me at the word Brits.

However, let’s persist. The photo with which so many of our journos were so enamoured… We wonder, were Daily Mirror ‘hols Brits’ forced to flee the Spanish costas..? Torremolinos…? Fuengirola…? Or for the younger, more edgy demographic… Ibiza?

Turns out the rather staged looking arrangement of Beachgoers watch wild fires under a parasol was in fact snapped at the rather more upmarket: Cap Ferret (Guardian) France in flames – pronounced kap feh-REH, with a silent “t” at the end. Note that it differs from the southeastern peninsula of Cap Ferrat, which is pronounced kap feh-RAH with an “ah” sound – and certainly nothing to do with the rodent Compo Simmonite from Last of the Summer Wine used to tuck down his disreputable trousers. There’s one for the teenagers.

Our journos tend to play fast and loose with numbers: 44,000 flee Cap Ferret (Guardian); Dramatic view… more than 110,000 people evacuated (Times); 40,000 (Mirror)

The Times has the good manners to reference Britons rather than the Mirror’s Brits, in the caption to their mutually featured photo, whereas the poshest of the lot our Guardianistas in true internationalist style avoid any déclassé mention of nationality – especially our own.

Amusingly, the mildly conservative Telegraph features a slight variation of the same photo which wins that title the number four spot in the BBC’s line-up.

One enjoys a new media coinage. Yesterday’s FT pitched for us: Europe’s heatwaves spur disruptive ‘flash drought’ – which at first slight seems somewhat oxymoronic.

The bottom left-hand corner of the pink paper cover page, which habitually acts as a particularly left-leaning outlet, goes on to imply yesterday was practically the end of days: …after early heatwaves hit the continent… ‘Atmospheric thirst’ driven by climate change has dried river systems in France, Poland, Italy and England. Hydropower, cargo flows, and harvests have been hit and some nations such as the UK have imposed curbs on water use. Scientists also say… vegetation that soon became parched and fuelled wildfires (FT)

And now over to that satirical little feature I like to call News From The Patriarchy…

Fathers driven to suicide by child support scandal… appalling blunders by Government-run agency… computer glitches are suspected to be partly to blame for more than 24,000 cases of overcharging (Mail)

Post Office Horizon scandal, anyone? How we feeling about the government’s increasing reliance on NHS apps and making Tax Digital initiatives?

How’s that A.I. workin’ out fo’ yer, Sir Keir?

Prime Minister sets out blueprint to turbocharge AI… Artificial intelligence will deliver a decade of national renewal, as part of a new plan announced today (13 January 2025). (Gov.UK)

US tech companies slash 140,000 jobs this year despite massive outlays on AI (FT Weekend – going in hard with the old journalistic ‘despite’)

Ironically, our robotic PM & first Female chancellor are now replaced by Andy Capp – a cartoon northerner.

Andy Capp… Angie no rent cap

Angela Rayner rules out rent controls in England (BBC)

Not all new brooms can be expected to sweep clean: Klopp starts Germany reign by threatening to quit (BBC)

How come? …if the media invades his family’s privacy – Emily Salley, BBC Sport journalist, putting the case against the media. Wasn’t media maliciously dragging his family into the limelight Nigel Farage’s complaint recently?

Also in the news: The virtual Indy doesn’t like Brexit – who woulda guessed that?

Back where our BBC and most media want our attention…

Tourists flee France inferno (i weekend) – Mother Nature putting the immigrant denizens of the Banlieues to shame with their comparatively lame car burning antics. Those lads didn’t make a dozen news headlines and scare us Brits off their hols.

I say this for the BBC (as tends to be the case with all leftists) they create a problem then to presume to offer some solution…

Heatwave anxiety can make you feel ‘incredibly helpless’ – here’s how to manage it (Ashitha Nagesh, Senior reporter and Georgina Rannard, Climate reporter, BBC, all girls together riding tandem on this one)

    BBC CONCERNS ABOUT EQUALITY…….

BBC agenda flagship radio programme this morning has allowed time for a report on prison overcrowding.

It seems there is a view that to free up prison places , one wheeze would be to let all women prisoners out. Perhaps the start of TTB
( two tier Burnham) and after all those years campaigning for equality. Whatever next ….just throwing away that hard fought for status, it would be such a shame putting back the cause of women by decades. Must be mysogony , maybe ? ( yeah, right) and nobody said out loud , we couldn’t get away with it.

Incidently , anybody who didn’t know should know , that on the wider subject, every utterance from “The Howard League” should be viewed from the standpoint that the League does not believe in detention at all. ( except the gravest of offences, like discrimination, etc, etc,)

Well, there’s no need at all for any prisons if your strategy is to turn the entire country into a single, open air prison. The model is based on North Korea for control, Lebanon for divide-and-rule, with a smattering of the old East Germany for the ageing commies who feel nostalgia.

        – “Maaate!” as Mayor Khan would say.
Cuz I got a brand new combine harvester
An’ I’ll give you the key
Come on now let’s get together
        In perfect harmony
        I got twenty acres
        An’ you got fortythree
        – farmers inheritance tax should soon deal with that. Down with Kulaks, as Lenin would say.

The rest of the lyrics are redacted due to references to English people having babies and the celebration of the drinking of large quantities of cider. Anyway, we now know the countryside is racist.

I assume like many on here I have serious reservations about Burnham’s No10 North idea.

The previous Government has already set in motion a local Government reorganisation which is to create regional Mayoral Councils including various parts of the North. Where this will fit in with Burnham’s pet project is anyone’s idea.

A constitutional change without debate, planning or costing

The No10 North idea has not been discussed, voted on or tested in any way before Burnham proceeds with it. Least of all in Parliament. Where’s the detail?

I have serious reservations about the impact of the breaking up of the British State. Regional Councils as well as No 10 North are based in larger cities. Those cities are all Labour dominated city states. We will see all power and influence taken away from the more rural areas and concentrated in Marxist multi ethnic centres of power,

The media love to tell us that Iran is capable of striking UK assets such as bases in Cyprus. There’s even the odd article saying they are getting missiles which could strike UK territory.
I’m not at all bothered about these reports.

What they don’t mention is that by now, Iran must have hundreds if not thousands of sleepers already in place here whether from the boats, people smugglers, legal immigration or from many other routes in.
These sleepers can be used to start trouble, riots, blow people and infrastructure up and in many other ways far more destructive than a long range missile could.
They could cause mayhem everywhere in the UK.

It’s these people we should be worried about (and the rest of the 40,000 on the watch list, not counting probably just as many unknowns waiting to be called into action)

Iran allows in BBC reporters after banning them for years….they have propaganda to push out to the gullible and they know the BBC is more than happy to collaborate and do their dirty work for them.

    FOOC…

‘In Iran we return to the opening hours of the conflict back in February, when a strike on an Iranian school transformed an ordinary Saturday morning into one of the war’s defining tragedies – and its deadliest single incident for civilians. Nawal Al-Maghafi returned to the scene in Minab. ‘

Is it a defining tragedy? The Iranian regime would like that…and the BBC has helpfully tried to portray it as such but in reality nearly everyone has moved on from the tragedy….it’s sad but bad things happen in wars….many people get killed by accident….if you want a ‘defining tragedy’ try those 40,000 civilians murdered deliberately by the Iranian regime.

Apparently the BBC correspondent in Iran just can’t stop thinking about those dead children…she admits it is a powerful propaganda message that Iran wants to propagate but…well…the deaths did occur so the BBC must report it…again and again and again….with very emotive narratives naturally designed to make the US look as bad as possible even though it was an accident…fog of war…unlike the up to 40,000 Iranians deliberately slaughtered in the streets by the Regime that the BBC is collaborating with.

Isn’t it odd that the BBC ‘just can’t get the dead school children out of their minds’ but 40,000 massacred by the regime slips their minds?

They can go and stuff the s**tholes up North, where all their mates are, and are welcomed by gullible lefties, but leave real British Countryside alone.

So ,I was waiting for the Rugby League to start on’t bbc this evening, and up pops the delightful Mr Ragnanathan, to ask what has the bbc done for me, sat through the absolute drivel and waited for the rugby, The advert then says at the end that the bbc adds £6.5 billion to the uk purse. My question is this, If you can produce such an astounding amount of money per year, why do you need a licence?

Just a minor rant so move on …..

How can it be that if the population goes up by -say – 10 million in 10 years – no provision has been made / planned for the inevitable increase in whatever – albeit prisons – or the provision of water / power and the various other public consumption –
And that’s on the red blue uniparty …..

But then … commerce seems to have adapted – there tends to be stuff in shops – Amazon really does deliver and generally if you have the money you can get things ….

Is it a matter of lack of incentive to be good in government ? Or is it the political culture ? – they all know they are not going to be in their current post for more than- say – a year – so leave the tricky stuff to the next loser who will hopefully screw up and make you – as a result – look good … rant done … dont feel any better though ….

This has been chucked around by useless politicians for well over fifty years, FedI I remember getting on a tender list for the place in the eighties!

By the time they build the blasted thing, there’ll be enough room to float all those empty boats, collected from swarthy unwanted illegals arriving in Dover every week, and we can all have a regatta – not…

We get our water from here: – https://www.bewlwater.co.uk/explore-bewl/the-reservoir. It was started in 1972. and is a great place for all sorts of activities – by those who like a bit of exercise, not layabouts! Senora O’Blene and I took on the challenge of biking around the perimeter once – sod that for a game of soldiers, but even in dry weather, they eventually understood that The Medway had quite a lot of spare water heading out to sea, so some of it is piped across to our place, thank goodness.

I have some pics of the place from a few years ago, which show just a trickle from the original stream which feeds the lake. but that was before nutters decided to make climate change an international scam…

Police investigate donations by Tice company to Reform UK
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5yv4r5g55do

    What AI tells me:

    1. The Power of Selective Framing
The “Headline Effect”: While the text of the article includes the necessary legal disclaimers and the party’s defense, the headline itself pairs “Police investigate” with “Reform UK.” Audiences scanning news feeds often absorb only the headline, which can leave a lasting negative association regardless of the eventual outcome.
Proportionality: Critics argue that the prominence given to the story implies a level of guilt or severity that has not yet been legally established.

    2. Double Standards in Coverage Timing
Asymmetrical Scrutiny: Supporters of Reform UK often point out that when mainstream parties face financial or administrative scrutiny, it is sometimes treated as a technical or bureaucratic error.
The “Smear” Argument: By elevating an early-stage police investigation to a top-tier news headline, the broadcaster can be accused of keeping a damaging narrative in the public eye, fulfilling what critics see as a politically motivated effort to undermine the party’s credibility.

    3. The Limits of “Technical Impartiality”Checkbox Balance:
Outlets like the BBC operate under strict “due impartiality” guidelines, which often means ensuring both sides are given a voice (the “right of reply”). However, critics argue this can become a box-ticking exercise. A broadcaster can technically follow the rules by inserting a quote from Richard Tice at the bottom of the article, while the overall weight, tone, and placement of the story still drive a negative narrative.

100% blatant bias. But carefully crafted to stay within their rules.

The BBC are dirty left-wing activists. Protected by a publicly funded army of lawyers.

Someone rid us of this cancer destroying the country from within.

Perhaps they’re now even more than a little bit worried that they’ll go bust when President Donald Trump has drained their bloated coffers, because they intentionally fiddled a speech he made – and a whole lot more besides.

There’s quite a lot (a whole lot), of selective left-wing bias in just about everything they do. Socialism is riddled through their veins and with more citizens deciding they’ve had enough, the panic is manifesting itself in all their stuff these days.

No business can survive when it’s losing 1,000 ‘customers’ a week, so like all lefties, the ‘powers-that-may-not-soon-be’ have to squeal to their masters in No 10 Whatevah-innit Norf, and Guyliner will be ordered by his trainers to try and help.

Proof that the BBC’s coverage of Palestinian issues is heavily weighted in favour of the Palestinians. Arabs attack Israeli hikers and then attack the security team sent to protect the hikers. They shoot dead one Israeli in cold blood and seriously injure another. Israeli army holds fire for a long time and only opens up when the Arabs start shooting.

Note the BBC narrative that tries to portray the security team as the villains, tells us Israeli civilians were ‘heckling'[remind you of the bus in London?] whilst completely ignoring the mass of aggressive Arabs ‘heckling’ and using violence.

This is how the BBC opens up…with the Arab tale…

‘There are conflicting accounts of the sequence of events in the northern village of Tal. Palestinians told the BBC that residents confronted Jewish settlers who were attacking them. An eyewitness said soldiers then arrived and started shooting. ‘

It’s rubbish but the BBC will slant its reports to give credence to this….indeed after noting that the Israelis claimed hikers were attacked we get a second Arab claim…

‘Ahmed Zeidan, an eyewitness, told the BBC the latest incident began early in the morning, when locals in Tal rushed to confront about 30 settlers who were attacking Palestinian homes. ‘

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2rxmye4k3o

Fortunately, unfortunately for the fake news BBC, we have some video…witness the absolute cold blooded murder of the Israeli….

Many justifiable and credible claims that the very high profile arrest of 12 ‘extreme far-right terrorists’ accused of plotting to murder Muslims en masse was a government psyop intended to divert attention from the extreme far-left terrorist murder of Ann Widdecombe…..note the extraordinary and immediate statements from government…

‘Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said the response of the police in tackling a “credible threat” to the festival had “undoubtedly saved lives”.’

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said in a post on X: “Shocking news that Counter Terrorism Police are investigating a credible, serious threat targeted at an Islamic event in Suffolk.

“Thanks to the quick action taken by police and the organisers, nobody was hurt.

“My message is clear: I will not tolerate any attacks on our Muslim communities, or any form of anti-Muslim hatred.”

Highly, highly political and just a bit previous given they knew nothing of any factual nature….and surely highly prejudicial to any future trial….hmmmm…maybe they knew there would be no trial as it was all complete bunkum and they knew that from the start.

We know the government works closely with the ‘independent’ media, including, if not especially, the BBC to control the news narrative in order to shape people’s perceptions and opinions…naturally to those the government approves of…as in covid or with climate change and migration.
You can see a perfect example of this as the government tried to discredit and delegitimise the EDL with a huge propaganda campaign…including employing Hate Not Hate to pump out disinformation.

This government letter shows how they work…

Thank you for your letter of 31 October informing the Home Secretary that the
Council of lmams and Rabbis of the Joseph lnterfaith Foundation has sought to
dispel the false perception that the Jewish Community supports the English
Defence League (EDL). I am responding as the Home Office Minister
responsible for policy in this area.
Although community cohesion is primarily the responsibility of the Department for Communities and Local Government your letter has been noted at the Home Office. We welcome your positive action to counter the divisive influence and minimise the impact of EDL activity.

As a Government our position is clear, we will not tolerate groups like the EDL who spread hate, seek to divide us and deliberately raise community fears and
    tensions.

    We will:

    Speak out and condemn their views and actions where appropriate;
    Continue to develop an effective public order policing response;
    Engage with local areas to support local action to tackle the EDL;
And develop our knowledge base so that we better understand the drivers of EDL support and can develop successful approaches to deal with the problem.

Local agencies know their communities best and we trust them to put in place suitable local measures to counter the influence and minimise the impact of EDL activity. We stand ready to provide advice and support where it is requested.

    Signed James Brokenshire’

The government splashed the cash in order to fabricate a pro-migrant narrative and an anti-EDL line…

‘Thank you for your email of 31 January requesting clarification of the response I sent you on 7 August 2012 – reference F0007043 on whether ‘Hope Not Hate’ had received any funding from DCLG.
On 20 June 2012 we signed a funding agreement with Searchlight Educational Trust for £66k. Searchlight Education Trust established community partnerships in four areas prone to EDL activity. Partnerships set up newsletters which contained: positive stories from the area that promote shared local identities; advertise events that bring the community together; and provide space for faith, community and voluntary organisations to advertise and encourage participation” and you can find more information about it on our website at https://www.gov.uk/government/policies/b…. Payments were made to Searchlight Educational Trust ‘

Almost 100% that the arrests were planned in order to distract from the Widdecombe story, a story that supported Reform and helped Farage with his line on security. Undoubtedly the Times relentless campaign against Reform and Farage is also ‘co-ordinated’ and planned given that sensitive and private data was leaked from the National Crime Agency about Farage and Reform’s finances.

Could be a huge conspiracy theory but the evidence shows that the government and allies are fully capable of mounting such an operation against political opponents such as the EDL or Reform.

Interesting that the BBC had to be corrected as they prejudicially claimed, er misquoted police, that alleged terrorism was ‘right-wing’….intended of course to imply that orthodox right-wing ideas were the cause of terrorism. A deliberate choice by the BBC that would never be made for Muslim terrorists…they’d always be ‘radical’ or ‘extremist’ or ‘Islamist’.

‘Clarification 24 July: We have amended a quote from the Counter Terrorism Police to make clear that they used the phrase “extreme right-wing terrorism related” rather than “right-wing terrorism related”.’

Reza Pahlavi, former Crown Prince of Iran, complains that the BBC supports the Iranian regime that murdered 36,500 of his supporters. The Supreme Leader of Iran said “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” but not “Death to our BBC friends”

The King of all Faiths and the Prime Minister of England told the BBC that the war against Iran is not our war.

President Trump renewed his criticism of BBC “fake news” in March, accusing the corporation of what he termed its “corrupt and fraudulent” coverage of the Iran war. Trump said: “if you watch BBC, it’s almost like they’re fighting us to a draw.” He added: “It was very inaccurate news, it was fake news.” “It really is corrupt, fraudulent news. It really is—it’s fraudulent.”

Iranian sleeper cell’s housed in hotels, by Serco, woke up this morning to cheer and clap at the BBC News.

Under Sharia law, the King of all Faiths will (1) allow Iranian troops to cross the English channel in small boats, (2) provide free hotel accommodation for all Iranian troops, (3) abolish English common law including Jury trials, freedom and free speech, (4) arrest and execute all people damaged by gender bending chemicals, (5) Iranian troops given immunity from prosecution for rape, (6) Iranophobia laws used to arrest and execute all British Patriots, Christians and J*ws, and finally (7) all left-wing white heterosexual traitors, socialists, marxists and communist useful-idiots, to be used as Islamic Slaves.
