Here am I, send me to the top of this Thread! The BBC is biased against the Reform Party and Nigel Farage is biased in favour of the EU and wishes to rejoin, is biased against President Trump and Israel and is in favour of Hamas and Hizbollah and is wasteful! The BBC pays excessively and still has Amol Rajan co-presenting TOADY. I expect he (Rajan) will be on this next week. I hope he will go soon! His voice grates on my ears.

Nicklas Nilsson explains the difference between right-wing and left-wing people in spot-on text on Facebook:

“If a right-wing person is gay, then he is, and he doesn’t care what others think.
If a left-winger is gay, then he demands legal changes, protests against everything and everyone, and turns it into a political struggle.

If a right-winger is vegan, then he simply doesn’t eat meat.
If a left-winger is vegan, then he wants to ban meat, halt food production, and protest outside farms and chicken farms.

If a right-winger doesn’t like guns, then he just doesn’t buy any.
If a left-winger doesn’t like guns, then he tries to ban them, prevent everyone else from owning one, and hates those who do.

If a right-winger is worried about the climate, then he flies less, drives an electric car if it suits him, and sorts his waste.

If a left-winger is worried about the climate, then he wants to ban fossil fuel cars, air travel, and meat for everyone else, protest outside factories, and demand that the state forces the change.

If a right-winger wants to give his children a good education, then he moves to an area with good schools, or chooses a private school, or gets involved himself.
If a left-winger wants to give his children a good education, then he demands more tax money from everyone, equal results for all, a ban on charter schools, and protests against every inequality.

If a right-winger complains about his job or workplace.. he doesn’t. He changes jobs or starts his own business.
If a left-winger complains about his job – then it’s the boss, the company, or the colleagues who are at fault. He demands collective agreements, strikes, changes for the whole community, and protests against the company so that it suits him.

If a right-winger is dissatisfied with his housing or rent, then he moves, renovates, or buys something else.
If a left-winger is dissatisfied with his housing or rent, then he demands rent freezes, more subsidies, regulations for everyone, and protests against landlords and politicians.

If a right-winger fails with a business or an investment that goes wrong, then he gets up, dusts himself off, and tries again tomorrow.
If a left-winger runs out of money on the 24th, then he blames the rich for having too much and needing to contribute more, blames the lottery win that didn’t come home last week, and mutters that he has such damn bad luck.

If a right-winger sees this – then he sends it to a few friends for a good laugh.
If a left-winger sees this – then he tries to argue against it, get it removed, and delete me from Facebook.”

Not a single mention of motivation….of why a Muslim might attack a Pride event.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c62eg899l99o

    Lol….Spiked has noticed…

‘He is said to be a German citizen of Lebanese descent. He’s described as an ISIS supporter. He is ‘known for having connections to Islamist circles’, in the convoluted telling of the BBC. But remember, we don’t know the ‘attacker’s motives’. That’s what virtually every media outlet is saying. And don’t you dare speculate. Don’t even think, far less say out loud, that Islamists harbour a burning animus for homosexuals and the liberty they enjoy in the ‘kaffir’ West. Just put the crying emoji in your social media and forget about it.

Screw the censors. Screw the anger police. Frankness is essential now. The truth is that hundreds upon hundreds of people in Europe have been slaughtered by Islamists. They’ve been slain for the sin of enjoying pop music in Manchester or a pint in London or gay pride in Berlin. In the heart of our societies there exist networks of ideologues devoted to the violent dismantling of our civilisation, and our supine rulers and broken borders are making it worse. No more platitudes. No more flower-laying. No more ‘Islamophobia’ bollocks. Only the complete freedom to speak and the firmest of action will suffice now.’

It is eerie, I cannot recall one other politician who has been provided with so much BBC fawning support and backing from the get go. It’s almost like they are trying to build him a profile that he has never had to secure his authority.

Well of course we’d all like to see some variety in our dramatic full-colour front page feature photos as we peruse our news stands wondering whether to plump for Times, Telegraph or Guardian. Are we perhaps in the mood to take the ever-excitable Mail, or shall we save a few bob and pick up a freebie adsheet Metro?

Either way, Damien Rembert/EPA (European Pressphoto Agency), must be absolutely coining it this morning with all his multiple duplicate photocredits splashed across our national dailies.

Just for balance… in this summer of widely and excitedly reported wildfires in this northern hemisphere of ours, the FT in that good old fashioned commodity price watch vein of theirs (Uruguayan swine flu spike in pork bellies price and all that) – mentions: Chile storm hits copper – chilly indeed: A deadly storm has threatened output and added to fears over the industry’s ability to supply the metal crucial to the AI boom. Mining groups paused operations amid heavy snowfall. (FT)

But I suppose that’s the beauty of the switch in terminology from global warming to climate change – any spell of unusual weather be it in summer or winter, northern or lesser reported southern hemispheres – it’s all grist to the climate alarmism windmill, so to speak.

Miliband vows to give UK ‘global leadership’ role in climate crisis – relishes the Guardian – sorry, I’m already out of date with my reference to climate change – the correct terminology is of course climate crisis – what with the wildfires and all.

Frankly, all this Yookay presuming to take some leading role on the world stage never seems to have done us any good. I’d prefer to hear a British foreign secretary say “We’re going to be shrinking violets on the world stage for a few years and see if that stance (or lack of stance) doesn’t pay off a bit better for us”

Of course that’s unlikely to happen because we notice it’s a Uniparty thing going on here – Tim Stanley in the mildly conservative Telegraph: The Right must get to grips with the reality of climate change – apparently these wildfires in the south of France have hit our chattering classes right where it hurts – summer vacation-wise.

Don’t let all these wildfires chase the ever so pious anti-Reform lawfare initiative off the front pages: Police look into Reform donations by Tice firm – at least we can always rely on the Guardian to keep playing keepy-uppy. And there’s a Binface to fluff.

    It’s all about the incentives

Teen anxiety pays more than job… Young people who take up part-time work on minimum wage earn £100 less than those claiming sickness benefit (Times)

Quick editorial note from our libertarian free marketeer fact-checker (if you can imagine such a thing) – the term ‘earn’ in that Times headline is doing a lot of work, if you can excuse the punning. Young people have rather been ‘gifted’ their minimum wage by state regulation.

India, my India (E.M. Forster) – I feel the title of a new irregular feature coming on… it could be a sort of counter balance to You Guessed It, He’s Black

The left-leaning (yes, I’m going to say it from now on) the left-leaning FT admiringly reports: Gen Z victory… Jubilant Indian students celebrate yesterday after forcing Narendra Modi into a humiliating climbdown in the face of widespread youth protests (FT)

We’ve gotten rid of Viktor Orbán in Hungary, and we’ve some sort of international arrest warrant out for Benjamin Netanyahu, enthusiastically supported by the jihadist mayor of New York, so we’re well on the way to cancelling all the three of the FT “far-right” international bêtes noire.

But, goodness gracious me, we digress…

‘South Asian programmes helped us settle into our new lives’ – big up for the BBC there…

For the first generation of South Asian migrants to the UK, dedicated radio and television broadcasts by the BBC were a lifeline. (Anil Kumar Bharath, Yorkshire, BBC)

There follows a long long article extolling the virtues of ghetto programming as somehow encouraging integration. Nope, me neither.

And finally we get to: Sixty years after Nirmala waited a week to hear one Hindi song, her grandson Krish scrolls through Punjabi music on his phone in seconds. – so no need for the BBC then?

The platforms have changed, but the purpose hasn’t: connection, identity, and the feeling of being seen. (BBC) – and there was me thinking it was supposed to be about: inform, educate, and entertain

Bodybags … improving the NHS … I’m sorry, I find that just plain weird – historically, it’s not like he has a commendable record there.

Getting benefits down? – well yes, something has to be done – the sheer quantity of dispiriting tales I hear about non working claimants who manage to run a car, take foreign holidays and have £1000 iPhones is a constant irritant, as is the procession of obviously unemployed Africans I see in supermarkets during the day wearing new sportswear etc.

Pretty clear that the piss-taking is an epidemic. The number of folk wholly dependent on welfare in any given council area should be a monthly publicly available number – doubt that’d ever happen unless we get a Millei into politics 🙁

The availability of welfare stats for an area would be the clearest indictor possible of the economic health of a given place?

The constant message we are fed is that Muslim attackers are fringe extremists and radicals, and indeed are not even ‘Muslim’, and that the majority of Muslims are not like them…they are peaceful.

That’s like saying a political party such as Labour is extreme and radical and does not represent many people. But of course most people don’t want to be politicians and want a normal life but….they want those politicians to implement policies and ideologies they hold themselves. Most Muslims will not want to be on the frontline being violent or even aggressively vocal but they do support the ideology that the ‘extremists’ have…they’re happy for the extremists to do the door-kicking whilst standing back themselves and pretending to abhor the violence…you can see how the violence works…politicians et al get scared and cringe before the violence. They tell us it is only a few extremists but then put in place policies that favour all Muslims thus giving a lie to the line that it’s only a few madmen on the fringes…and it shows violence and intimidation works…encouraging more violence until eventually we have official Muslim enclaves, mini-Pakistans, and then the whole country is surrendered.

Pretty damning stuff but why have the perpetrators of the anti democratic conspiracy even been charged let alone tried and convicted? I’m sure that President Trump and his team have tried to bring them to justice but somehow or other the US deep state is able to protect them . Unless and until they are brought to justice democracy and the laws designed to protect it aren’t working.

  14. Doublethinker says:

I think it was the commentator Jake Wallis Simons who first coined the phrase ‘suicidal empathy’ to describe the pro migrant , pro Islam neurosis that has seized much of the West.
Recently Lionel Shriver the American author has added that suicidal empathy is usually accompanied by ‘suicidal vanity’ . This describes the motivation of people , who are always well distanced from the horrors that mass migration and Muslim enclaves inflict on swathes of our society , but who want more immigrants and more ‘protection’ for Islam in order to demonstrate their own virtue to their friends and to the rest of us.
It is remarkable that those who have either or both of the above empathetic tendencies have no empathy of any description for the victims of Muslim rape and torture gangs or victims of Islamic terror .
Perhaps the constant denigration of British culture and history and the propaganda of the victim/oppressor paradigm that has been pushed over the past thirty or forty years by much of the media , the awful BBC in particular, has convinced these folks that they and we are oppressors and immigrants and minorities are victims.
At some point in the future , perhaps not too distant future, they are going to realise their mistake but by then it will be too late for them and for us.

Milei referred to Lula (without always using his name) as a “thief,” “convict,” “delinquent,” “presidiario,” and similar terms. He described the Brazilian government as “thieving socialists,” urged Brazilians to break free from “subjugation to the Left,” and said Flávio Bolsonaro was the only one who could “stop Lula.” At one point, after a microphone issue, he quipped about whether “the thief” had messed with the equipment.

Larry the Downing Street cat is getting the protection the UK population is being denied.

We are constantly told how good Diversity is for us yet Andy’s dog will not be allowed to enrich Downing Street because it would not get on with Larry who lives there at the moment.

Can anyone see the parallels here.
What’s the worst that could happen?
Would they fight until one takes control.
It’s just like the enrichment our rapidly disappearing red squirrels are enjoying in their quickly diminishing numbers.

They still say Diversity is good for us. Just like the Aboriginee, the Red Indians, the Māori and everywhere else where it’s failed for the host Country.

Also, with all these claims for reparations because of Colonialism. I believe that human life started in Africa and from then on Africans spread out all over the World and colonised it.
It follows that all reparations should be paid by Africa, they started it.

Trouble is not once do they ask why a Muslim would attack a gay pride event….surely the most critical point…the motivation….which would inform us about future dangersssss…..ah…yeah….let’s not go there otherwise we might have to deal with Islam and close it down in the West before it closes us down…and no politician or media lefty wants to admit that.

And note the BBC isn’t hurrying to report a Muslim shouting that Allah told him to kill women has stabbed three of them in Paris.

How much more of this do we have to put up with?

BBC still frothing at the mouth about Elon Musk….

‘It’s just one of many recent examples of the tech titan’s increasing interest in extreme ideas and activists’

No..no…I don’t think freedom of speech and freedom of thought are ‘extreme’. The BBC shows no concern that Germany just tried to block a film because it had ideas that ran against the Left’s own worldview….but if Elon Musk dare to promote that film in the interest of freedom of speech the BBC turns its guns on him…just remember that the film is based upon real attacks by Migrants on German women but the BBC doesn’t mention that…

‘Citizen Vigilante, a film from German director Uwe Boll and starring actor Armie Hammer, is violent – and very schlocky – stuff.

Initially denied a rating by German’s film regulator, it would likely have garnered very little attention, had it not caught the eye of the world’s richest person.

Elon Musk made the film free to view via his social media platform X for 48 hours in late June, and the subsequent attention briefly pushed the movie into the top of the charts of several streaming providers including Apple and Amazon.’

The BBC goes on to sneer at Musk freeing up Twitter…

‘Much of that influence comes via X, formerly Twitter, the social media platform that Musk bought outright in 2022. Since stripping away many of the old Twitter’s content moderation rules – derided as censorship by Musk and others – the network has become a haven for far-right beliefs and conspiracy theories.’

It is absolute fact that Twitter was a left-wing echo-chamber that censored and blocked right-wing views and voices. The BBC just sneers at that idea and yet it is fact.

And of course there’s the ‘far-right’ Tommy Robinson…

‘Musk also recently reposted a video from the far-right activist Tommy Robinson that suggested police are going easy on criminals if they have brown skin, with the comment “literally true”. ‘

Yeah…is ‘literally true’…two recent high profile cases…Henry Nowak and the lad who was arrested after being attacked by Blacks right in front of the coppers.

Again the BBC tries to gaslight us…

‘The film’s portrayal of European society dovetails with the bleak vision pushed by Musk and others on the right – that citizens have been utterly betrayed by a corrupt establishment, that migrants are at the root of violence and chaos, and that extreme measures are needed to restore order.’

As example after example of migrants attacking people on our streets….migrants allowed in, encouraged to come in in fact by the likes of the BBC which actually published routes for migrants to travel on, and a corrupt political class which sees cheap labour and, the lefties, a way to destroy the West.

An extraordinary and long anti-Musk rant from the BBC which is absolutely obsessed with him and his ‘interference’ in our politics and society. Curiously the BBC shows no such concerns about billionaire George Soros literally buying up ‘democracy’ in so many countries and interfering in their politics…including our own and in the US….but that’s because he is a radical lefty who pumps in billions to get left-wing placemen in positions of power and influence…but that’s OK for the BBC…they in fact love that.

Ah yes….BBC reporrt written by Mike Wendling…their weasily little verify pimp who spins for the left.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5y4w5nwk00o
