Watched a discussion on the Daily T podcast about Reform’s plan to stop the boats . The presenters both thought that was better than most plans that they had see but didn’t expect it would work. They mused that growing numbers of EU countries were moving rightwards very quickly on migration , eg Sweden and Denmark , and that since Brexit we hadn’t moved a jot!
So true and if the RN and AfD gain power there will be even more dramatic changes and we will be left even further behind on the topic which was one of the major reasons that we voted Brexit.
But our Uniparty politicians and civil servants will attempt to block any rightward shift. I view them with complete contempt .

That’s a hoax/disinformation. The 57 members of the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) were hosting around 16 million refugees – mainly Muslim – as of June 2025 according to the UNHCR. Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and Bangladesh between them had 7.8 million refugees. The issue is that a large number are in Britain and Europe, that they are mostly not genuine refugees but economic migrants and colonists, and that it is happening with the connivance of our governments, possibly for nefarious purposes.

There’s some last minute confusion – and what one might term fine distinctions being drawn – over who will and who won’t receive a get out of jail free card…

Rapists and groomers will not be freed early, say PM (Guardian)
Pc Harper killers will still be freed early (Telegraph)
Cop killers WILL go free… Despite PM’s review (The Sun with that old journalistic despite)
Killers but not rapists to be given early release… PM waters down scheme but can’t ‘go further’ (Times)

There’s some interesting societal priorities being revealed here. Back when hanging was the punishment for not only murder but a whole host of other lesser offences there used to be that old adage: “might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb”.

Now our Andy is sorting between the convict sheep and the goats on the basis of sex crimes being more punishable than deadly violence we ought perhaps to file this one under our tongue in cheek feature heading News From The Patriarchy.

I’m oddly reminded of that scene from Monty Python’s Life of Brian – where an ever so liberal Michael Palin is the Roman dungeon administrator standing with his clipboard checking Pontius Pilate’s prisoners for either crucifixion or release. He politely asks “Crucifixion? Yes. Good. Out of the door, line on the left, one cross each”. When the cocky Eric Idle saunters up he replies to the official “Freedom!” but then jokes “Nah, I’m only pulling your leg, it’s crucifixion really”

Well, to be fair to our Andy, after a fortnight of tough decisions – who can really blame him for washing his hands of this issue – in the good old Pontius Pilate tradition: Burnham on holiday after two weeks in job (Telegraph)

Under the UK’s GOV.UK labour reforms, key day-one employment rights include Statutory Sick Pay from day one, paternity and parental leave from day one, and immediate protection against discrimination. However, the original plan for a true day-one right to claim ordinary unfair dismissal was adjusted during the legislative process; employees instead require a 6-month qualifying period. – thank you A.I.

Quit while the going is good, Andy. You might be wise to do an Ariana: Grande finale… Ariana bows out of public life after UK shows (Sun)

Because, apparently, Armageddon and The End of Days is just around the corner… weather-wise…

Chips are down as heat sparks potato crisis (Telegraph); Greece fires spread as a continent waits for rain (Guardian); Driest July on record… since records began in 1836 (Times); Driest July in 190 years… Firefighters battle wildfire the size of 210 football pitches is south Wales (i paper) – 210 Welsh rugby pitches, surely?

Your Mr AsI observes how the Gruan only tends to headline sports stories when there’s an identity politics angle to promote.

The liberal globalist FT, for its own idealogical reasons, takes a rare front page interest in football this morning: Football gave Europe a rare geopolitical win Gideon Rachman

A veritable triathlon of FT ladies have been busy on this one: Defence experts question Reform plan for sending navy to tackle small boats (Rachel Rees & Lucy Fisher, London, Leila Abboud, Paris)

Let’s just check in with the Guardian to make sure they are still playing keepy-uppy with the Farage £5m story…?

Farage talks admission raises doubt over £5m gift (Guardian) – yep, thought so! At least there’s still some things in life one can rely on.

One can’t let this line go by: Rod Liddle ‘A caustic but crucial voice on the madness that is modern Britain’ (Trevor Kavanagh The Sun)

And this one is not so much a classic Mr AsI juxtaposition, more a bookend to that last line…

In the era of ‘my truth’, facts are not needed (Telegraph)

Perhaps the same financial investigations that the socialists are chucking at Nigel Farage can also be applied to her mum’s charity?

Surely, the big difference is that £750,000 of tax-payer’s money vanishing is much more important than a mate funding a proper security organisation for someone getting death threats on a daily basis?

They could get a job-lot and look at Crayons’ tax affairs as well – in fact, do the whole bloody lot of them! All this is alleged, so we’ll probably never know the answer.

Full on shock and awe from the BBC as BP announce a big jump in profits.
Hang on. BP are trying to get rid of their North Sea interests, profits on which are taxed at 78%.
So pretty soon they cannot be accused of ‘ripping off’ UK taxpayers as they will not be producing oil and gas here, but overseas.
So will the BBC be celebrating the huge success of a British company and the money it is making overseas for UK plc?

FIRST PUBLIC TEST FAILED BY “KING ANDY”……..

Our latest saviour “KING Andy” announced before going on holiday that he would” look at” the case of PC Harper’s killers and early release.

He’s looked at it and gone away , oh , dear how sad , blah, blah would love to do something but…it’s all too difficult.
    Hands up who is surprised?

It’s an impossible situation for the widow of Andrew Harper, how she must feel God only knows.

One option she does have would be a very public demonstration of returning her MBE. After all what does it mean, what is it’s value?

What all of this really shows, is that the country doesn’t have two spaces in the prison system for cop killers. That’s 2 from a prison population in excess of 90,000.

I might get in the dog house for this one.
Last week the funeral director guy that kept bodies and/ or the ashes of bodies in storage and gave deceased relatives the wrong ashes was sentenced.
    Relatives are understandably very aggrieved.
But did we really need four days of families reading out impact statements in court? This in the context of SirKeir trying and failing to eliminate jury trials because of the massive backlog with two year plus waits in some cases. That issue persists.

And the guy did not kill or rape or groom anyone, or commit a violent robbery, or be a drug baron, yet he has been given a sentence as if he had. Essentially he committed a gruesome fraud for which a punishment is fully justified. But a near life sentence?

It seems to me there a few things here which need thinking about beyond the, admittedly understandable, outrage.

And incidentally, when did the modern trend of sentencing taking place weeks after the guilty verdict get started? The whole court has to re-assemble at considerable cost and another day where a new trial could take place is lost.

The justice system seems to me becoming more like the NHS. Run more for the benefit of the producers than the general public.

As long as the lefty media such as the BBC and The Guardian employee myopic white hating journalists, bending stories such as the migrant surge from Morocco to blame white nationalism the problem will keep getting worse.

There is no reason on Earth why any country should simply bow down to thousands of young foreign males breaking into their Country to avoid being labelled right-wing Nazis.

Most of the media are only concerned with the welfare of the criminal illegal migrants breaking across borders and the dangers they face….

They should not cross borders illegally and are gaming the system, not escaping danger in any conceivable way.

Lefties are making the situation worse with this constant drip of empathy for the illegals…..

Instead of giving breakfasts, travel, entry to events and the ever growing list of other free stuff to this never decreasing number of children in poverty they should scrap the lot.

Why not give all this free stuff to working people.
It would be an incentive for these families who never have any money to get a job.
Maybe half the council tax if the person living there is working.

It’s the same as giving the dinghy boys everything they need and thus attracting more and more of them when our people on benefits are given more and more free stuff so they are better off not working.

      Asylum support

      “Your partner and children
You can include your partner and your children under 18 as ‘dependants’ on your asylum application if they’re with you in the UK.

Bring them with you to your screening appointment. Otherwise, you’ll need to send a request to add them to your claim.”
      https://www.gov.uk/claim-asylum/your-partner-and-children
      Housing
You’ll be given somewhere to live if you need it. This could be in a flat, house, hostel or bed and breakfast.

You cannot choose where you live. It’s unlikely you’ll get to live in London or south-east England.

      Cash support
You’ll usually get £49.18 for each person in your household. This will help you pay for things you need like food, clothing and toiletries.

Your allowance will be loaded onto a debit card (ASPEN card) each week. You’ll be able to use the card to get cash from a cash machine.

If your accommodation provides your meals
You’ll get £9.95 for each person in your household instead.

      Healthcare
You may get free National Health Service (NHS) healthcare, such as to see a doctor or get hospital treatment.

      You’ll also get:

      free prescriptions for medicine
free dental care for your teeth
      free eyesight tests
      help paying for glasses
      Education
Your children must attend school if they are aged 5 to 17. All state schools are free and your children may be able to get free school meals.
