Mr Burnham clearly out of his depth , oh lets pop over to Ukraine in my little jumper and give loads of free stuff away and pretend we can do anything about there borders,,whilst our own borders are being invaded every day .
@Taff 9.30 pm To my way of thinking I prefer crush or blow up the boats and stop the gangs. Yes it will lead to deaths but the gangs don’t worry about that so why should I? I consider it collateral damage after about 6-700 the gangs will be hard pressed to get anyone in the boats.
How many deaths and rapes have been committed by “illegals” will the government tell us ? The Prime Minister, the Government and Home Office should be held culpable for not securing our people and borders . Sink the invading boats and it will soon stop.
Vote Reform UK (a former Labour Voter).
Zero boats as Andy Burnham has stopped them all ** might be weather and France being told they are paid millions to do nothing.
“Small boats data

Andy Burnham just handed £350m of taxpayer money to a housebuilder that reported a £30m loss weeks ago, whose shares have crashed over 70% from their 2024 peak, and whose own suppliers are having credit insurance pulled because insurers don't trust the balance sheet.

AS the coroner’s investigation into Jason Arday’s death starts today the BBC continues its campaign against Nathan Cofnas implying that he is a racist and, as he began the racist feeding frenzy, is the cause of Arday’s death suggests the BBC.
Trouble is he was not the first person to ask questions about Arday…not only did Arday’s colleagues have issues with him [and it was an insider at Cambridge who asked Cofnas to look at the plagiarism claims] but a Dr Dave Harris was the actual first person to raise this and he did so with Cambridge and journals that had published Arday’s work….then there was journalist Jack Grove…Arday set the police onto both these people and the Times spiked a story on him when Arday had high powered lawyers send them threatening letters. No mention at all about this on the BBC’s flagship news programme Today.
So no, Cofnas did not, as the BBC claimed, start this affair off…it is an absolute lie that the investigations into Arday were started because of race. The BBC is once again spreading toxic disinformation designed deliberately to make this out to be a ‘lynching’.
Pug – I bet labour put in an ‘approved ‘ coroner – presumably coloured – who will follow instructions to turn the inquest into a public inquiry … when the function should be – ‘did he top himself or not ?
In a sane world this case should act as a deterrent to those on the DEI bandwagon using some ‘white guilt ‘ crap to further their own interest / bank account …,

(Personally the manic look in his eyes said it all for me)
Like mid Staffs hospitals and countless other issues, nothing can get in the way of the state narrative. Nathan Cofnas will be the fall guy.

Excellent news – the energy cap thing is going up again as usual . The ‘energy Secretary ‘ was on – she didn’t mention ‘breakfast clubs until 30 seconds in ….
You couid hear that she’d been to the labour school of public speaking – hitting the right lines about ‘£2 bus fares ‘ and we are ‘uniquely exposed to the gas market ‘ – which wasn’t challenged by her mate amol .
This character yapped and yapped and was allowed to just get away with it …crippling standing charges – ‘we re looking at it across the piece ‘ whatever that means ….
You could hear that amol couldn’t give a damn about energy prices – he can claim them through his company ….
On and on the ‘energy Secretary ‘ went – yap yap yap – nothing about North Sea oil yet alone fracking . … reducing standing charges ? Nope not gonna happen …

The IPPR – a Marxist think tank – recommends to bodybags introducing national insurance on pensioners – anyone above £12500 – but don’t worry ‘it’s only 2% ‘ ….( but then rising every year until it hits income tax levels…..
Will labour rule it out ? Or do the usual ‘ we will examine the idea ‘ …. ? The Dis incentive to work or save grows stronger every day ….
The above news – increasing energy costs and taxing pensions – should be remembered the next time some uniparty politician says ‘we are the 6th richest country ‘ – when trying to defend sending tax money to bongo bongo land to buy new BMW s – i include Ukraine in the bongo bongo land definition …
They’ll do the usual thing – ‘the tax is only 2% ‘ year two – more money for ‘our NHS’ tax going up 3% 5% 8 % _____ the uni-party will do it – and when a Reform government sees the books they’ll keep it too .
Fedup, I never listen to the today programme. It is 100% state/bBC narrative. In fact I never listen to the bBC, with the exception of test match special. Unfortunately the DEI squad have managed to reduce my listening there from all day to a couple of minutes.
Dolly Parton has died. A larger than life character and a great showbiz personality. Nothing negative to say about her.
But why on earth is the BBC treating her death as if the Queen had died? Headline news for the first 15 minutes. Can you name say 10 of her songs?
Priorities, BBC. Priorities.
Actually it makes a change to have extensive reporting of the death of someone Ive actually heard of and grown up with ! So many times Ive thought … who ?
Sluff, my guess is that the BBC are maybe more interested in reaching out and aligning with the many legions of Dolly fans rather than any deep interest in Dolly herself…..

So, there I was at the allotment yesterday afternoon. Lovely and sunny, bit of breeze. I didn’t feel like over doing it, so settled in my deckchair in the shade of an ancient apple tree, had a cup of coffee and a cheese sarnie… and in an unthinking moment I tuned into Radio 4 to catch the afternoon play. Honestly, I should know better…
It started off well enough. A young lad from Lancashire who’s a prodigiously good cricket player. Soon he’s made his debut for England and on his maiden test he makes a ton. Brilliant…then we’re introduced to his girlfriend.
I can’t remember her name, but we’ll call her Greta. Christ, she’s a pain in the arse. She’s studying climate science at uni’ and pretty soon she has our carefree cricketer watching films about droughts and starvation, mass extinctions and the burning planet.
Within weeks he’s as worried as she is. He can’t concentrate. His form slips. While he’s fielding in Australia and being sledged by boozy Aussies all he can think about is that these blokes will all be dead, “due to the climate catastrophe” in only a decade.
These aren’t plays in the original meaning of the word; they’re thinly veiled propaganda pieces with a story propping them up.
He gets dropped by England; his girlfriend walks out and he starts seeing a psychiatrist…but the shrink is as fretful about the impending climate holocaust as he is. “There’s nothing irrational about your fears” she tells our hero. “The planet is in serious trouble”.
And on that cheerful note…I went back to my weeding…
28gate set the pattern for the BBC – *every* orifice was carefully set up to drip climate propaganda and that feed has been in place for 20 years
BBC 28gate refers to a 2006 internal BBC seminar and the subsequent multi-year effort to keep the attendees’ identities secret.
Eco activism no matter how utterly ignorant or deranged gets top billing in every department at the BBC – just like The Guardian
The BBC has spent hundreds of thousands of pounds over six years trying to keep secret an extraordinary ‘eco’ conference which has shaped its coverage of global warming,
The seminar was run by a body set up by the BBC’s own environment analyst Roger Harrabin and funded via a £67,000 grant from the then Labour government, which hoped to see its ‘line’ on climate change and other Third World issues promoted in BBC reporting.
Tony Newbery, 69, from North Wales, asked for further disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act. The BBC’s resistance to revealing anything about its funding and the names of those present led to a protracted struggle in the Information Tribunal. The BBC has admitted it has spent more than £20,000 on barristers’ fees. However, the full cost of their legal battle is understood to be much higher.
In a written statement opposing disclosure in 2012, former BBC news chief and current director of BBC radio Helen Boaden, who attended the event, admitted: ‘In my view, the seminar had an impact on a broad range of BBC output.
If the BBC had handed the job of running the religious affairs coverage and department to Jehovah’s Witnesses it might be comparable… ( giving it to Rev. Ian Paisley might’ve been more entertaining)
The BBC web s(h)ite topic ribbon has a *primary category* still headed “Climate”
Harrabin’s Marxist climate runs through the BBC like a town name through a stick of seaside rock candy.
A complaint on behalf of the Space Special Interest group of Mensa, about a Climate Change documentary made by the BBC found out that the seminar comprised of 58 attendees, of whom half where BBC Management staff, and the other half where mostly Environmental activists. It turned out that only two climate scientists where present, and these two were only qualified in measuring the temperature. Not a single causational or attributional climate scientist was present. Not a single atmospheric physicist or solar scientist was present at that seminar.
Jeff – well done with the weeding – it really does remind me of the methods used by the nazis to indoctrinate the population into their policies – inject ‘the message ‘ into everything – brainwash the kids as early as possible – demonise
Dissenters …..
I feel really sorry for young British kids now because the far left / Muslims have complete control …with the help of the state RICU and other propaganda agencies – such as the BBC ….
“A Reddit user described how UK officers contacted four members of a private WhatsApp chat for ‘edgy jokes’ uncovered in an unrelated probe, citing Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003. This law targets messages deemed grossly offensive by objective societal standards, even in private groups using the internet, with courts ruling the offense occurs upon sending regardless of recipients’ views. Recent cases, like convictions of police officers for racist messages, show enforcement applies to consensual exchanges, fueling debate over free speech limits in private talks.”
PBS America regularly run a program series titled ‘The Truth About Franco’, obviously about the Great Dictator. There’s input from an obviously leftie historian, a scouser called Paul Preston who wrote a biography about the Dictator. I noticed how he compared Franco to Hitler to Trump. He’ll be on the BBC soon.
Incidentally I believe Franco was one of the most horrible men that ever lived, worse even than Hitler. I’ve often commented on other fora (forums?) that I believe Spain is still a Fascist country although many argue against that claim. The Guardia Civil, the Spanish Police still bear the Fasces, the Fascist emblem on their badges.

UK aid to Pakistan had scaled up dramatically, from £87 million in 2007-08 to a planned £446 million in 2014-15. DFID had not delivered programmes on this scale in Pakistan before. This challenge is magnified by the difficulties of working in insecure provinces, weaknesses in budgetary processes and public financial management systems and recent constitutional reform devolving federal power to the four provinces, which is leading to uncertainty. https://icai.independent.gov.uk/review/icai-report-department-international-developments-bilateral-aid-pakistan/review/

Have you noticed it’s becoming increasingly common for newsreaders and presenters to break down and start crying or being unable to talk through emotion every time some celebrity dies or the news is about some person being badly treated.
Do they think they come over as ‘showing their human side’ and are therefore really good people.
I like Martin Daubney on GBN but he seems to break up at the drop of a hat.
Is the news now so terrible or was it sanitised 10 – 20 years ago.
I can’t remember any of the old news presenters such as Dermot Murnaghan, Richard Baker, Kate Adie or Moira Stuart crying when sad news was read out.

I was having a tussle with Claude AI this morning:
1) First it told me Dolly Parton was not dead
2) Then it said that covid mRNA was not a gene therapy but a vaccine
3) Then it could not produce a list of notable scientists that said it was a gene therapy
4) Then I got it to start a list of scientists by naming them and their experience. At every name it argued like hell. For example it said the ex-pfizer toxicologist who gave evidence at the Bundestag was invited by the far-right AfD. Eventually conceding that Sterz could be added to the list. I had to repeat argue with Claude each time citing each scientist qualifications.
5) I noticed that as the list should have grown each time Claude would drop an earlier name off the list.
6) Then Claude refused to name any more notable persons who and died and also promoted the vaxxxx apart from Dolly Parton.

Btw – re meta – the real decider of who won is the share price – which the Marxists didn’t mention – so I checked – it is up 1% today ….heres to freedom
Remarkable the hypocrisy that goes unnoticed at the BBC when it suits.
A feminist poet on Woman’s Hour talking about men abusing women and she’s furious that people say ‘but it’s not all men’….not that she thinks all men are abusers but one, this line is turning men into the victims and diverting attention from the real victims…women….two, men must actively stop other men abusing women…somehow.
This was all accepted as perfectly normal and fair…but of course if you were to apply this to the Muslim community after a terrorist act you’d soon be shouted down…not all Muslims are like this!!!!!…in fact the Muslim terrorists probably aren’t even Muslim we’d be told. One big difference is of course that much of the terrorism and indeed misogyny, slavery, anti-Semitism and general hate to non-Muslims is in the instruction manual…the Koran…it’s institutional….it’s in the mosques, in the Muslim institutions, around the dinner table….it’s in the community…they may not agree with violence but they are quite prepared to leverage the fear that results for their community’s advantage….they want the same end result as those who use violence.
Hypocrisy number two is that the BBC is more than ready to criticise the numbers of tourists flocking to various locations and upsetting the locals…this can, the BBC understands, put a strain on local resources and ‘change the feel of a place’.
Why is that not the same approach the BBC takes to mass immigration and invasion of people who definitely don’t bring money and jobs to an economy and cause enormous chaos and upset to the locals?
1. Could Mars Inc., the makers of Maltesers, have some sort of legal case against this wimmin? Reputational damage, that sort of thing?
2. She might have noticed that some of the ‘Maltesers’ seem to be dipped in a slightly darker coloured chocolate in recent years. This might give some clues as to which ones are to be avoided.
3. Why is she picking on people from Malta anyway? They are very friendly, especially towards Britons.
I was shopping in the nearest M&S food hall this morning and glanced at the newspaper stand . I was astonished to see many of the papers had banner headlines about the Russian threat to attack the UK.
Obviously the ‘story’ is that after Burnham’s empty gesture on Storm Shadow blue prints the Russians are hopping mad and going to attack us in retaliation.
The truth is more likely to be that the UK Globalist establishment are engineering a hit job on Reform and incidentally on the RN in France and AfD in Germany , all of which are equivocal in their support for Ukraine . Even the Mail , Telegraph and Express are saying that Burnham has done the right thing and that Russian aggression must be opposed, Munich, appeasement etc were all invoked.I expect that the BBC et al have followed suit.
I expect that the idea is that if some sort of incident can be staged that can be attributed to Russian action then Russophobia will be stoked up and the spotlight turned on any political party which hasn’t supported Ukraine or perceived to have been soft on Putin in the hope that it dents Reform’s chances.
Russia is not a natural enemy of Britain. They are not neighbours. We do not have any territorial disputes with them. They are not an economic competitor. Their main motivation is to be able to defend themselves and ensure they are not attacked and invaded, having previously fallen foul of the Mongrels, the Swedes, the Lithuanians, the Poles, the French. Oh, and the Germans, who killed nearly 30 million of them not so long ago. That’s not to say they won’t behave belligerently towards us: if you poke a bear long enough it will eventually come and shit in your part of the woods.
Our main problem is that the Foreign Office and Establishment won’t accept that the Charge of the Light Brigade was in 1854, and that The Great Game ended more than a century ago.

The bbc got a couple of muppets called Roger / Gavin and Stacy who unusually work – both having trouble paying … I wanted to here from someone on benefits who is on a nice ‘social tarif ‘who I pay for …. But no …

Wasn’t VAT a temporary tax on” luxury goods” in the early seventies ?
They’ll do the usual thing – ‘the tax is only 2% ‘ year two – more money for ‘our NHS’ tax going up 3% 5% 8 % _____ the uni-party will do it – and when a Reform government sees the books they’ll keep it too .
There is no tax cutting party …
Fedup, I never listen to the today programme. It is 100% state/bBC narrative. In fact I never listen to the bBC, with the exception of test match special. Unfortunately the DEI squad have managed to reduce my listening there from all day to a couple of minutes.

I must be missing something.

“The Plastics Industry must be stopped.” – Angelle Bradford
Plastic Activist BLINDSIDED After Markwayne Mullin Calls Out Her Glasses
Greta says don’t worry, Africa will keep the human race going.

Jeff
28gate set the pattern for the BBC – *every* orifice was carefully set up to drip climate propaganda and that feed has been in place for 20 years
BBC 28gate refers to a 2006 internal BBC seminar and the subsequent multi-year effort to keep the attendees’ identities secret.
Eco activism no matter how utterly ignorant or deranged gets top billing in every department at the BBC – just like The Guardian
If the BBC had handed the job of running the religious affairs coverage and department to Jehovah’s Witnesses it might be comparable… ( giving it to Rev. Ian Paisley might’ve been more entertaining)

“funded via a £67,000 grant from the then Labour government”
yes …. ecosocialism (or ecological Marxism) is a recognised thing.
Proponents of ecosocialism argue that Marxism offers tools to diagnose environmental problems (I’d add real *or* imaginary)
Then there’s the f’ing Fabians….
Jeff, it could have been worse, you might have had to deal with Mares tail…
It’s like socialism, it takes ages to take root, gets too far in to dig out, and you’ll never get rid of it!
The only way to control it is to, ‘Never let it see a Sunday’, which sounds about right…
“How Therapy Became a Left-Wing Weapon”
Franco set Moroccan mercenaries to terrorising the Iberian population in the Spanish Civil War… Even the Nazis disliked him….
Spain’s antics in NW Africa in the first half of the 20th Century were pretty awful.

The 5pm bbc news spent the first 17 minutes on a case in the US where democrats are trying to control meta . Meta has paid a settlement of 17 billion dollars – which is a win ….
The Marxist bbc presenter suggested a ‘code of practice’ for social media – which really aimed at controlling the arch enemy X … the real bbc / Marxist target …
Btw – re meta – the real decider of who won is the share price – which the Marxists didn’t mention – so I checked – it is up 1% today ….heres to freedom
This is what happens when you don’t shoot unarmed men in cars….
‘Two police officers among seven killed in wrong-way car crash’
I imagine if the youths killed in their car had been black this would be a whole different story and interpretation of events.
I think the incident has been staged. – a plane landed in Birmingham and an unwanted family got off …
Best way to deal with that is DGAF / ignore – rated lower than Charles III getting the palace guard band to play Dolly Parton tunes.
Newspaper war porn – totally orchestrated shit…
US meeting with Russians – Alexander Bortnikov, Sergey Naryshkin and Igor Kostyukov likely met with Ratcliff and aides
Oh, to be a fly on the wall…
I wonder if the C17 detoured to Ankara (with transponder turned off ) before returning to USA?
