Harry et all v Daily Mail, Court costs £35 million and he/they have to cover their own legal costs as well. Well first prize for taking the piss has to be the British legal profession. I think even the Judge has commented that the costs seem excessive. One can almost feel sorry for Harry.
The Amercan legal system is based loosely on English Common Law. The American legal system is even more aggressively expensive than here in the home Country. The BBC v Trump case will be colossally expensive I’m sure. British taxpayers will be covering the cost.

When I ask Alexa to ‘Play Talk Radio’, I often get a recurring – and irritating advert for Sky Sports. I must have had to listen to it hundreds of times, and I’m not in the least bit interested in anything from Sky – especially sport!
Apparently, there is a way to obviate this intrusion and I’m working on that, but there’s also a similar issue with Chrome, where unwanted ads suddenly appear on opening a new screen.
At this rate, there won’t be very many companies who will ever get my custom if this sort of drivel keeps going on, as I always make a mental note not to buy anything from these companies.

I used to have most of the national newspapers home pages in my favourites but deleted them one-by-one when the frustration kicked in. I think I’m down to three now that are still reasonably readable!
Flotsam – I get some perverse pleasure from hearing those plaintiffs come unstuck – some have commented on what the judge said – that witnesses may have purged themselves or the legal advice they were given was so allegedly incompetent as to make it worth going legal against their own legal team .

I think that the globalist European establishment is fighting for its life in the UK, France and Germany and hence their EU empire, they will do anything and risk anything to preserve their power. This includes provoking a conventional war with Russia because they believe that being on a war footing will cause their voters to rally to them and/ or give them an excuse to cancel elections which they expect to lose. They also think that if Russia attacks Europe then even though Trump doesn’t want to involved it would hard for him to wash his hands of Europe and his NATO obligations.

Andy Burnham has told how he questioned whether footage of the lead-up to a brawl at Manchester Airport could have been released to give a “broader picture” of what happened.
A Greater Manchester Police officer is under investigation for allegedly leaking wider footage of the incident on 23 July to the media, after an initial video of an officer kicking a man’s head went viral.
The clip sparked protests and led Burnham, the mayor of Greater Manchester to consider whether more footage of the incident “could be put in the public domain”.

In a question to a contributor, we stated that the Muslim Council of Britain had been boycotted by governments from both main parties in this country after its then Deputy Secretary General, Dr Daud Abdullah, supported attacks on the Royal Navy if British troops sought to stop arms reaching Hamas in 2009.
This related to when Dr Abdullah, in a personal capacity, signed the Istanbul Declaration which government ministers viewed as showing support for Hamas and condoning violence against foreign troops in the Middle East including British forces. The MCB and Mr Abdullah strongly disputed this interpretation.
Today did not contact the present leadership of the Muslim Council of Britain in advance of mentioning this incident and we apologise for not doing so. I was in the ladies changing room at the swimming pool this morning. There were about half a dozen ladies there already in discussion. Somebody mentioned plagiarism but by the way she was talking I could guess she wasn’t absolutely sure what it was. One said how awful was that someone had taken his life because of it. I had to ask if they knew exactly what Mr Arday had done and explained there had been over 100 examples of plagurism in his PhD. Another lady chimed in and explained about his amazing claims of marathon running and appearing on 7Up. I added a few more of the claims. The first lady asked how I knew. I asked her if she only got her news from the BBC. She said mostly although sometimes ITV. I said I never trust the BBC but watched GBNews. It turned out so did the other lady who knew more details about Jason Arday. The first lady didn’t know what GBNews was, asking if it was on Sky or Channel 4.
Now I know GBNews isn’t perfect. But what is scary, is to realise how little they know and how controlled the people are who only watch main stream media.

An Essex council leader walked into an asylum accommodation site expecting one thing and came out describing what he saw as “more akin to a holiday camp”. 😳
Essex County Council leader Peter Harris said he was “aghast” by what he saw during a tour of RAF Wethersfield, which is being used to house asylum seekers.
Speaking on GB News, Harris described full-sized football pitches, fully equipped gyms, fitness rooms and an indoor sports hall where residents play cricket and basketball.
He also said martial arts instructors were brought in, and that one resident was a UFC fighter who was training at the site.
Harris described the facilities as “fantastic”, adding that they were facilities “many sports clubs would love to have right the way through the country”.
The council leader also spoke about the dining facilities, saying there was a choice of menus and “fantastic fresh food”.
He said the accommodation included rooms with two or three beds, while newer units being built as part of an expansion were “brand spanking new”.
Harris was told around 800 migrants were living at the site, although he said he only saw around 150 during his visit. He was reportedly told many of the others were still in their rooms because they like to get up later, while others had been taken into town by bus.
He also described a medical centre staffed by GPs and nurses, which asylum seekers could access at any time.
Harris said he arrived at 9.30am but was not allowed into the facility until 10am, when many residents were still in bed.
