ON THIN ICE (AGAIN)

Election or no election, the BBC continues to spew out with wearisome predictability tendentious nonsense about global warming. This time, it’s another melting glacier alert. This one ticks all the boxes for a BBC scare story because the mountain in question is in Africa, and of course, a central axiom of the BBC’s belief system is that Africans urgently need more money to fight the endless injustices heaped upon them … Continue reading

Righteousness and Wrongteousness

Recently some of us linked to a comprehensive study of the BBC’s institutional hostility to Israel and its biased reporting of the I/P conflict. It mentions much of what we’ve been highlighting here for yonks, and includes a systematic analysis of emotive partisan terms and references. They submitted it to the BBC, and awaited a response. So far all that has materialised is a rejection, conveyed indirectly, via the Jewish … Continue reading

Cheers, BBC! Cheers, Jane Garvey!

Now might be a good opportunity to reminisce; recalling those old, but not forgotten, times…. “I do remember… the corridors of Broadcasting House were strewn with empty champagne bottles. I’ll always remember that” Jane Garvey on BBC Five Live, May 10th 2007, recalling May 2nd 1997 (Audio / Transcript) We’re betting it’s not like that this year, eh, Beeboids? However this is currently the view from your liveblog Moderator’s desk at Chateau Eye. Cheers! Click … Continue reading

Election Night LiveBlog

Here it is – the Election Night Liveblog…..starting when polls close at 10pm and carrying on until the last Moderator collapses in a gibbering drunken stupor over their laptop. THE GREAT OZONE HOLE SCAM

Did you see that the BBC have been using the 25th anniversary of the alleged hole in the Ozone layer to further advance their eco-wacko agenda. Pity they couldn’t be bothered to consider other views on this issue but then again it is never news with the BBC it is always propaganda.   Click through to read and contribute comments on this post.

BP = EVIL?

Anyone catch the inquisition of BP’s Tony Hayward on Today this morning? Of course we realise that the Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico is a serious matter, not least for the loss of life of those workers (rarely mentioned by the BBC) but this was a clear assault on BP, with the repeated use of aggressive phrases emanating from the Obama regime. I thought Hayward handled it well … Continue reading

Still Undecided?

Let these recent observations from some BBC regulars guide you. Mr Hardy also thinks it’s OK to “lie about Tories because there is a higher truth: they’re cunts.” Such wit – I bet the BBC has already drawn up the contract for a new series of “Jeremy Hardy Speaks To The Nation”. I wasn’t going to vote Conservative but the outside chance of making Jeremy Hardy’s life a misery is … Continue reading

Election Night LiveBlogging

It’s almost here…the night that should see only the second change of a ruling party in the UK since 1979. We’ll be hosting another LiveBlog; this time starting when the polls close at 10pm and finishing when the last Moderator expires from alcohol poisoning in the early (or not so early) hours of the morning. As background information, these were the declaration times from 2005. As we’ve done previously, this … Continue reading

Charade

Today again. “………Immigration is second only to the economy. Difficult to discuss. Here’s Kevin Connolly in Peterborough. Highest concentration of immigrants. Bigots. Bigotgate.” At last, the discussion that dare not speak its name. At last they’re going to mention what is on everyone’s mind. Say the unsayable. Hoorah! No more taboo. No more intimidatory reminders of the unfortunate consequences awaiting those who mention you know what. Been waiting for this. … Continue reading
