The above video has Dave Rich, deputy director of communications at the Community Security Trust (CST), denounce Labour as institutionally anti-Semitic and he points the finger at Corbyn.  [Will his book be ‘Book of the Week’?  Surley of massive political interest at the moment]

He also says that there is a new narrative driving anti-Semitism…no longer coming from the Far Right it is originating from the Left and its Muslim fellow travellers….and it is a new narrative that says Jews in Europe are fair targets due to Israel’s actions.

Now where have we heard that narrative before?  On the BBC.  The same BBC which has seemingly based the vast majority of its reporting on a belief that the Jews in Israel are always acting badly and that the Palestinians can do no wrong…indeed many a BBC journalist seems inclined to report as if they themselves were Palestinian and wave the flag for Hamas…in one case literally as she put the Palestinian flag and gun waving Hamas terrorists as the banner photo for her Twitter account.

Let’s see what the Balen Report says?  Are BBC journalists guilty of anti-Semitism or anti-Israeli sentiment?  Does BBC News kill Jews?  Think we should know don’t you?

Such anti-Jewish sentiments are part and parcel of the Left these days…..they go even so far as to defend the once evil bankers Goldman Sachs in order to attack Nigel Farage….calling him a closet anti-Semite…

It is really hard to mock Nigel Farage: he is already a caricature of a little England neo-fascist, defending Trump’s pussy-grabbing one day, attacking Goldman Sachs without quite saying the words “Jewish conspiracy” the next.

The Left teaming up with Fascist Islamists and the Giant Face Eating Squid that is Goldman Sachs.  How times change.

Of course there is good reason Farage criticises Goldman Sachs, amongst many other bankers…they donated large sums of money to the Remain campaign and loudly voiced their opposition to Brexit.  Nowt to do with Jews, all to do with being in hock to the EU….and remember this is the Goldman Sachs that so wanted Greece to join the EU that it forged Greece’s application and massaged the figures about Greece’s debt…leading to the massive debt and political crisis that soon followed.

So let’s be clear…Goldman Sachs’ sole interest is Goldman Sachs…it will do whatever it can to make money regardless of how much harm it does.  Hope Remain voters were happy to vote to fill Goldman Sachs’ pockets with gold.

Where did that quote about Farage come from?  The Guardian of course, in an article that laments the apparent end of satire…however reading the piece you’d be hard pushed not to think Satire is alive and thriving…if unintentionally.

If there is a lack of humour, and listening to the BBC’s very political ‘comedy’ you might have to agree, it is probably down to the likes of Iannucci and Co who have an ideology, political, social and cultural, and they want to ‘sell’ that to the audience whilst attacking the Right…and it is always the Right….the jokes are fitted around the message.

Just read the piece….who’s to blame for the end of sature?  No guesses….it’s far too easy…..The Daily Mail and its Little Englander readership, the horrible, uneducated vermin on the internet [er….massively dominated by the Left] and of course those ‘fuckers’ who voted to leave the EU….oh and those ‘Bumptious, puffed-up little dickheads demanding so-and-so is ‘sacked by the BBC’‘…presumably all those on the Left who religiously intoned that Jeremy Clarkson must be eviscerated….no?

Apparently only some people are allowed to make ‘offensive’ jokes…and you know who judges them of course….

Yet this new respect for offence-taking doesn’t touch the people who are actually offensive. Iannucci’s example is: “Donald Trump’s campaign manager said this morning, ‘This thing about locking Hillary up in prison, that was just a quip.’ Trump saying ‘if I were in charge, you’d be in jail’, doesn’t sound like a joke. If it’s a bold statement that then takes 24 hours to clarify that it’s a joke …” – he has reached a beautiful crescendo, like a Gettysburg Address to the honour of the joke – “That’s not a joke!”

Trump’s not allowed to make jokes because ‘we’ don’t like them.

The whole piece is just Lefty jokesters whinging pathetically…..but have faith…the Left will rise again…..

This last quote sums that wilful blindness up as it shows how they refuse to recognise the real Fascism is on the Left [and always has been…Nazis….National Socialists]……

In their minds those ‘some people’ are of course on the Right, hence the ‘goose-stepping’ fascism, but it is the Left that likes a good Twitter storm to silence enemies and intimidate politicians, companies, academics and anyone else who steps away from the approved narrative, the BBC is quick with the ‘Nazi’ tag to smear people like Farage and Tommy Robinson, and then there’s the good old labour camp, the Gulags which if the threat of them was not enough to silence opponents the actuality did…..can’t help thinking that these would soon spring up if Comrade Corbyn gets his way sending round the Thought Police to re-educate you  or failing that remove your malign, poisonous influence from Society.

When the Law finally caught up with Anjem Choudary and after a decade of giving him prime-time platforms to spout his rhetoric with Mark Easton comparing him to Ghandi, Mandela and Churchill the BBC have decided that….

Despite being constantly criticised for giving him airtime they continued to do so with a wilful disregard for the evidence….but then they have always supported the terrorists, their mouthpieces and other radicalisers, from the IRA to Hamas, to groups like the MCB, Cage and MPACUK…all of which still get airtime on the BBC.

Pretty clear that this is urging British Muslims to go and fight Jihad physically.

The BBC seem to have completely forgotten that they were one of the prime facilitators for Choudary’s career as radical mouthpiece and terrorist recruiter and oddly make no mention of that fact in their latest piece on him which celebrates the fact he has been ‘silenced’…..

Was amused to see the Authorities will be removing ‘dangerous’ books that lead to radical thoughts from prisons….will that then include the Koran?

The Islamist Baroness Warsi was also shown up for the hypocrite and opportunist she really is.  She is a long term adversary of the anti-terrorist Prevent programme and not long ago was agitating for the government to engage with Msulim groups that were considered ‘beyond the pale’…presumably those such as Cage, MPACUK and the MCB.  She suggested that by not engaging with such groups the government was disengaged with the Muslim community….she was saying that these groups represent the Muslim community then?

Irony of ironies Warsi then attacked the BBC for giving Choudary airtime….

Criticising the BBC, Baroness Warsi, the former minister for faith and communities, said extremists should not be given platforms to express their damaging views.

Pity the BBC gives her so much airtime to peddle her own Islamist propaganda.

The reason that Choudary couldn’t be locked up before was because he was preaching the Koran and basic Islamic law.  Now when the government ministers tell us he was peddling a poisonous ideology you have to ask just what ideology was that then and if it is indeed ‘Islam’ what will you do about it?

The French have gone for window dressing and banned the Burkini in places when the real problem is far more fundamental and which such petty headline grabbing policies do nothing to address because politicians are afraid to speak the truth…that Europe is being Islamised and that without deliberate action to prevent that it is inevitable that Muslims will rule over Europe in the very near future.

The BBC and its ilk refuse to address that fact and indeed do all they can to play it down and instead of revealing the truth about what Islam really means continue to sell us a false narrative of a religion of peace, tolerance and interfaith dialogue.

The reality is that Islam is not a pleasant ideology, it is backward, violent (even Tariq Ramadan admits it is so) and oppressive and has been the ‘end of history’ for so many of the countries that it has taken root in.  If Europe becomes Islamised where does that leave the liberal progression?  Who in the world will stand up for all those values the BBC likes to boast it stands for and yet ironically also backs the most brutal of religions which is in direct opposition to every value liberals profess to hold?

Western values need defending, at the point of a bayonet if necessary, as they have been for centuries as we stopped Napoleon, the Kaiser, Hitler and the Communists.  The BBC seems to think that to apply a little muscular liberalism goes against the whole ethos of liberalism….the result of such a weak policy will be no liberalism at all.

Syria shows what standing back patting oneself on the back as Obama did for his ‘considered’, diplomatic approach to the disaster, results in….an unfolding, massive bloody disaster that could have been averted with quick and powerful early intervention.

Europe will eventually also turn into a warzone.  It is inevitable.  It’s here already.  People just refuse to see it…and as I’ve said before the war is not just one of bullets and bombs….it is at heart an ideological war and the intended end result is the Black flag of Islam flying over the ruling houses of Europe….

Listening to much of the BBC’s reporting on the attack in Nice you may have noticed a peculiar omission as they seek to investigate the attack, the methods used and the motivation…..

Before Nice, Palestinian terrorists used cars as lethal weapon

The BBC for some reason fails to mention that vehicles being used to attack pedestrians, Jews,  is a favoured method used by Palestinians.  Does the BBC not want to have comparisons made between their ‘heroic’ Islamist friends in Hamas and the ‘nasty’ Islamists of ISIS?

The BBC is otherwise pretty quick to ‘analyse’ the situation bringing us conclusive facts about the reasons for the terrorist’s radicalisation, his motivation and who to blame for it all.  The BBC’s very slick and practised emergency operation moved into gear as they sought to rapidly control the narrative and downplay the role Islam plays in this attack.

Straight-off the BBC thought that the mental health of the attacker may have played its part, an excuse the BBC always deploys when Islamists attack….this is the BBC that absolutely refused to mention that the killer of Jo Cox had well documented mental health issues and had sought help the night before he attacked Jo Cox.  The BBC wanted to use Jo Cox’s death to attack the Leave campaign by blaming their policies on immigration for generating hate, hence it dosn’t want to muddy the waters and provide an ‘excuse’ for the killer of Jo Cox and a get-out for Leave.  Clearly the BBC uses mental health as a weapon in its arsenal but one only used in the defence of their favoured terrorists.

Next up we had the standard BBC rhetoric….Nicky Campbell (who knows so much about Islam thanks to his guide and mentor the comical Mo Ansar) told us that this was all about alienation not religion and that was essentially the narrative throughout the day as Paul Rogers, a professor of peace studies no less (…from Bradford), told us this had definitely nothing to do with Islam and that we must surrender to the Islamists if we want to live in peace….and naturally we must fight anti-Muslim bigotry which can only lead to more Muslim alienation and disaffection.

Islam is absolutely not a threat to the West.  No, really.

Here’s a couple of questions someone might raise in the good professor’s tutorials….

Why is it that only Muslims get radicalised?

and..

Why is France so much under attack when it didn’t invade Iraq and in fact voted against the invasion?  Isn’t Iraq the cause of all this radicalisation?

The one question the BBC does have an answer for is is ‘who is to blame?‘  Naturally the killer is the victim here….the French government has failed to make him feel loved and at home in France…never mind he had a job, a wife (ex) and three kids…and he’d been allowed to come to France from Tunisia.  Might then seem a tad ungrateful to respond to that by going out and murdering so many French citizens on Bastille Day.

Terrorism is the French government’s fault.  The answer?  More Islam.  Muslims must be allowed to practise their religion freely and to its full extent in order to help them integrate.  Integrate by being totally separate and ghettoised.  Yes I see how that could work.

Perhaps the real problem is the fact that France allowed in so many immigants from North Africa without the jobs or social structure that could accomodate them…..just how do you accomodate people who have an entirely different culture, faith and political and social outlook on life?

That’s a question the BBC dodges and absolutely refuses to deal with seriously…a question that should be on everyone’s lips as millions of Muslims flood into Europe, thanks in large part due to the unilateral actions of Merkel…and with Turkey on the brink how many more will head this way?

Ironically it was on the World at One with the über wet, pro-Islam liberal Mark Mardell that we got a glimpse of what we should really be talking about as a French Republican was allowed to speak truth to power (26 mins 30 secs)..but is anyone listening?  This is a real war…we must understand who is the enemy and how to fight it…and immigration is the problem which produced millions of people who feel ‘not properly treated and want revenge’.  [But are they justified in feeling that way?]  He says we must control the borders. [Racist].  The horrors we see in the Middle East will come here due to immigration of people who bring their problems with them.

Note also that he says intelligence cooperation is a joke in the EU [which we already knew….so much for Remain’s argument].  There is a huge problem with coordination of information.

Schengen doesn’t work…we have a free circulation of terrorists due to EU immigration policies.

Bet Mardell was kicking himself for not having the chance to edit that one down to some anodyne soundbites about a ‘senseless tragedy’.

The BBC is part of the problem.

Apparently the use of the term #Alllives matter is a racial slur.  So if you’re not black your life doesn’t matter…so says #Blacklivesmatter.

It will be interesting to see how the BBC and the Left respond to these police murders as it is clearly the vitriolic anti-White, anti-police rhetoric of the left, and of the BBC, that has led to these deaths…..the BBC spends a great deal of time trying to link the official Brexit campaign to racist attacks despite Boris and Co never once suggesting in the slightest that people go out and do such things…however…as you see in the film above #BlackLivesmatter is deeply involved in encouraging the murder of police officers and anti-white racism…and the BBC is there alongside with an empathetic eye.

Hundreds join Black Lives Matter march through London

Hundreds of people have marched on Westminster in protest at the shooting of two black men by police in America.  The Black Lives Matter march went through central London to the Houses of Parliament at about 20:00 BST.

The marchers were heard to shout “Hands up, don’t shoot” as they carried banners through the capital.  The march is in response to the fatal shootings of Philando Castile in Minnesota and Alton Sterling in Louisiana.

The Black Lives Matter London Movement was founded by 18-year-old sixth form student Marayam Ali.

She told The Voice:”By these people coming here to stand and unite, they are showing that they are against police brutality and that’s the most important thing.”

The problem for Blacks in the UK is ‘police brutality’?  Not the fact that so many black lives are lost due to other black people killing blacks?  When police moved to try and stop this they were accused of racism.  Guess black lives only matter when they can be exploited as pawns in a political game by black/Muslim activists….and the BBC of course.

Oh yes…remember Ruth Smeeth, the Jewish Labour MP abused by a black Momentum activist who was so matey with Corbyn?  That activist, Marc Wadsworth, is a black power agitator.  Small world.

For a long time this site has noted the BBC’s readiness to uncriticially give airtime to those who would like to neuter the anti-terrorist Prevent programme….’those’ being Islamists of many shades and their fellow travellers on the Left…. we illustrated a perfect example of the BBC’s pro-extremist stance just the other day.  But, unfortunately it’s a story that has been brewing for a long time…

Nearly a year ago we said that....

‘The BBC has leapt upon the words of ex-chief Superintendent Dal Babu as he tries to discredit the ‘Prevent’ programme….and there is remarkably little comment on the BBC from people who would say otherwise.  Discrediting the ‘Prevent’programme is the Holy Grail for Islamic extremists, amongst others, and Babu’s words align neatly with their own rhetoric about the programme and do great damage as they give authority and credibility to those extremists.’

Baroness Warsi, the woman who wanted to disarm Israel and arm Hamas, who constantly supports Islamist student societies, who spends so much of her time undermining Prevent, always gets a warm welcome at the BBC…

‘Here is a classic example of the BBC ‘looking the other way’ as it is fed a line by the Islamist Baroness Warsi on the Today programme yesterday(from 08:10) who declares that the solution to radicalisation is to let extremist groups, those defined by government as ‘beyond the pale’, put their agendas in place….by not talking to them the government is not talking to the Muslim community….the government has ‘disengaged’ with the Muslim community….The BBC completely ignored the implications of what she was saying….that the extremists and their views should become ‘acceptable’ and even more worrying that these organisations are in fact representative of the Muslim community as a whole….in other words they are not ‘extremists’ or people who pervert the religion, and far from being ‘outside’ the community they are the voice of it.’

The way to counter radicalism is to let the radicals have their way…yep…that’d work and Warsi always gets a free pass at the BBC, allowed to spread her toxic narrative without challenge.

The BBC continues to this day to work alongside the Islamists to attack the Prevent programme as it naively, or not so naively, reports stories fed to them by people who are well known Islamist activists..

The BBC are backpeddling furiously on this…..they have been caught out by Muslim propagandists….the reason for that is because they are so willing for such stories to be true.  As I have said a few times here the BBC’s uncritical cheerleading of Muslim extremists, like Moazzam Begg, is a deadly game that almost certainly will have serious consequences.

Back in December we had the fake fury of the family denied entry to the US which the BBC reported endlessly as an example of anti-Muslim prejudice…we noted that…

Have to think this is an organised attempt to generate as much media and political pressure as possible to portray Muslims as victims of unwarranted discrimination with the intent that they are then given a special status as untouchables as we know the likes of the BBC and Guardian will happily fill the airwaves and pages of their websites with stories of ‘victimisation’ but offering no context or other side to the stories.

We have frequently noted Mehdi Hasan’s attempts to present himself as a suit wearing, secular democrat with progressive, liberal views when he is performing in public, such as on the BBC, when we know that in private he is a hard core Muslim believer with a great deal of contempt for the unbeliever.  It is Hasan who urged Muslims to become journalists in order to push the Islamist line….indeed the BBC’s own Mishal Husain said she was glad to have the job on Today because it allowed her to increase our ‘understanding’ of Islam and what a wonderful religion it is.

This Sunday we had the ‘Big Question’ asking if we should have a ‘British Islam’.  This shows a clear failure to understand Islam…there is only one Islam…Islam was ‘revealed’ precisely because Christians and Jews, we are told, didn’t follow their scriptures word for word and then split their religion into many sects….Islam was the cure for that…one religion, one faith, one God.  Not to undertsand that basic principle shows either a massive lack of knowledge about Islam or a deliberate attempt to mislead those watching the BBC’s programmes.

What should also raise questions and concerns is why the BBC continues to have MPACUK on as a spokesman for Muslims when it is a well known hardline Islamist group that advocated Jihad…

The Obligation of Jihad

Leaders and activists of Britain’s biggest teachers’ union are colluding with Islamic extremists to undermine policies aimed at preventing terror attacks.

Quite extraordinary that a ‘journalist’ like Campbell should not jump at the chance of tackling that issue when he had the chance, especially when the subject they were talking about directly connected with what Gilligan revealed and as……

“They [Islamist groups] are winding up vulnerable young people with lies in an extremely dangerous way,”

Might have thought the NUT would have their own concerns about that…but no, instead they side with the extremists and the BBC looks away.

Gilligan has now directly noted the BBC’s own predilection for itself siding with the Islamist narrative…

Muslim extremists’ ‘campaign of lies’ to undermine the government’s fight against terror

An organised campaign to undermine Britain’s fight against terrorism can be revealed today.

Islamist activists linked to Cage, a group known to sympathise with terrorists, are using coordinated leaks to mainstream news organisations, including the BBC, to spread fear and confusion in Muslim communities about the Government’s anti-terror policy, Prevent.

The BBC has long been tied to the Islamist cause…Moazzam Begg being their poster child…as they ‘Dance with the Devil’…

The BBC has a long history of pandering to Islamist extremists and presenting them to an unsuspecting audience as credible, authoritative and moderate Muslims whose words and beliefs are given all the more weight by the unquestioning platform afforded them by the BBC to push their ideology.

Recently we had Nicky Campbell allowing someone from CageUK to promote his Islamist cause which we looked at here…Jihadi Jock.

It’s not as if CageUK, or Cageprisoners as it used to be, is not unknown for its views….Statement by Gita Sahgal on Amnesty International and Cageprisoners

‘The tragedy here is that the necessary defence of the torture standard has been inexcusably allied to the political legitimization of individuals and organisations belonging to the Islamic Right.’

Note that line ‘the political legitimization of individuals and organisations belonging to the Islamic Right. ‘

That is what the BBC does, deliberately and knowingly…it is impossible for the BBC, a news organisation with huge resources, to claim it does not know the nature of the organisations and individuals it engages with in debate on its programmes.

Indeed…impossible for a news organisation with the BBC’s resources to not know who and what they are promoting.  Therefore the conclusion is that the BBC are wilfully giving support to known Islamists and their cause.

The BBC peddling such myths merely adds to the credibility of the Jihadi narrative and gives more ammunition to the Muslim grievance industry.

The BBC has a long history of serving that Islamist narrative and looking away from inconvenient and difficult facts about such groups….

BBC Plugs Jihadi Charities

The BBC is providing the perfect background noise for the Islamists to keep the evergrowing stream of new recruits flowing.

The BBC has been relentlessly attacking Saudi Arabia for some time now whilst, as always, telling us what a wonderful, enlightened and moderate state Iran is…or would be if it weren’t for the Great Satan which sets out to surround poor little Iran with enemies necessitating an Iranian hardline response.

Any thought that perhaps the BBC’s take on Saudi Arabia is coloured by its security correspondent’s grudge against the Saudis?

His conclusion….

When the Arab Spring protests erupted in 2011, Iran, which had crushed its own democratic protest movement two years earlier, claimed the credit for sparking reformist movements across the Arab world.

Today, Iran once again has a relatively moderate, pragmatic president in the form of Hassan Rouhani, while Saudi Arabia has embarked on a new and aggressive foreign policy that has seen it bogged down in an unwinnable war in Yemen.

Interesting to know that the Iranians claim the ‘credit’ for the Arab Spring which led to Syria et al….not the BBC narrative which blames the Iraq war and the West.

What of that ‘moderate, pragmatic’ Iran and the nasty aggressive Saudi foreign policy?

That’ll be the Iran which supports Hamas in its effort to ‘wipe Israel off the map’, which has essentially annexed Lebanon, which fights to support the murderous Assad in Syria, which interferes in Iraq and supported anyone from the Taliban to Iraqi insurgents who wanted to fight British and US troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan…and is involved in stoking the rebellion of Shia populations inside Sunni ruled states.

Aggressive Saudi Arabia?  Maybe it has just-cause in the name of self defence.

The BBC complains of the brutality of the Saudi regime as it executes ‘so many’ people…why, the BBC asks, do we maintain diplomatic relations with them?  Why then do we maintian diplomatic relations with the US which also has the death penalty?  Or indeed Iran which has executed far more people than the Saudis and with whom we have just opened diplomatic relations.

Nicky Campbell ambushed defence secretary Michael Fallon a while back talking (18th December) about extremism and ISIS.  He asked if Fallon was totally against beheaders, abusers and torturers….you could see the trap a mile off and knew what was coming next…Campbell was not now talking about ISIS…and indeed when Fallon said he was naturally against such things Campbell leapt in and gleefully demanded what he was going to do about Saudi Arabia then?  All very childish and student politics, as we expect from Campbell and co.

What is curious about all the BBC’s anti-Saudi Arabia rhetoric is that, apart from never having been similarly disposed to attack Iran for its murderous regime killing gays and young girls, hanging them and flogging them, the BBC fails to mention the Saudi money and ideology that floods into the UK, and the rest of the world.

British Muslims are heavily under the influence of the Saudi fundamentalist theology, not only that but all levels of British society and the Establishment are also being subborned by Saudi money which pours into universities, schools, business and sport…the Royal Family (PBUT) and British politicians all are at the beck and call of the Saudis and their money….the FCO is infamously ‘Arab’.…including this memorable example...’Fucking Jews’….”If I had my way, the fucking international community should be sent in and if the Israelis got in the way, they’d be blown off the fucking earth.”‘

The BBC admits frequently that the Saudi ‘brutality’ is guided by Islamic sharia law and yet they fail to link that to what is being brought into this country.  If it is bad in Saudi Arabia which is a Muslim country how much more unacceptable is such culture and law in a secular western democracy?  The BBC don’t like to ask in case some people of a certain ideology get upset….one of them might be their favourite extremist poster boy, Moazzam Begg, against whom the evidence of his extremism mounts rapidly…the Mail having done a large scale exposé of him over the last couple of days…ignored totally by the BBC of course….Fanatics’ campaign of hate on campus is revealed: Islamic zealots who backed Jihadi John are poisoning the minds of students.

The BBC’s Phil Mackie (who insisted the Trojan Horse plot was a hoax) reported from Birmingham’s Green Lane Mosque and told us of how moderate it was and how it was fighting against extremism…this was the mosque which was at the centre of C4’s Dispatches ‘Undercover Mosque’ exposé of Muslim extremism…it is also a mosque with close ties to Saudi Arabia and Wahhabism, it’s mission in life is Dawah…the spreading of Islam.  The BBC is either entirely naive or dishonest in its reporting about such things….seemingly covering up the extremist nature of many in the Muslim community in the interest of community cohesion…which is a very short sighted approach as the extremists are just biding their time to take over.

Green Lane Mosque tells us that a Salafi Muslim…

‘Is not of the sects of the Shi’ah who hate and curse the Prophet’s Companions and claim them to be apostates, claim that the Qur’an has been altered, reject the authentic Sunnah and worship the Prophet’s Family, peace be upon them.’

Now as a Mosque, a Muslim mosque you might emphasise (not so funny when you know that the BBC disregards what Muslims say and invent their own intepretation  of Islam to suit the BBC’s own narrative…there’s the Muslim Islam and the BBC Islam), you might think that they knew what they were talking about when they explained what they were about.  Not so.  The Mosque says there is great enmity between Sunni and Shia….the BBC begs to disagree as Frank Gardner, the expert, in the Times told us today (Pay-walled)….

Islam, a handy excuse for a squabble over power.

So the conflicts between Sunni and Shia Islam has nothing to do with Islam or religion per se…it’s all about power…but power of what?  It’s about which religious intepretation dominates…it’s all about religion and Islam, which version of Islam is correct….and if you get the chance to read Gardner’s piece in the Times you realise the truth of that as he admits this again and again despite his headline denying the truth of that…

In practise this has led to a sort of quais-arms race for influence, with both Iran and saudi Arabia exporting and promoting their own versions of Islam.

Why does the BBC still insist on downplaying the role of Islam in conflicts around the world…and yet at the same time admits that it plays a role just as it admits the Saudi ‘brutal’ regime is guided by Sharia law and yet refuses to make the link to the export of Saudi religious fundamentalism to the UK?

A brave Muslim tried to warn us this week about the extremists taking over his community. What a tragedy it is that our PC politicians would rather not know

Ali, who phoned in on Monday, is a third-generation Muslim in England, and has watched his Muslim community transform from complete integration with other Brits, to almost utter separation.

He is now too uncertain of elements within his own community to be able to speak out about his fears of extremists and radicalised Muslims, no longer sure who is friend or foe, who is British at heart and who is loyal to another ideology or country. 

A subject we have looked at before in relation to the BBC’s own wilful blindness and indeed its determined attempts to deny such things and to portray islam as a wonderful, tolerant and peaceful ideology.

Reading Ayaan Hirsi Ali in Birmingham

As a young child and teenager I grew up in an area where the majority was English but there were also Greeks, Chinese, Jamaicans and Indians living in the same community. Everybody got on and respected each other. My parents ran supermarkets, so we were integrated, if not allowed to assimilate as females because of the religion. And now the white people are leaving, the area has disintegrated, and it breaks my heart. Most members of my family have moved out.

The area has been Islamised. Mosques, mini-mosques and madrasas rise up on almost every street corner, but there is nothing for the youth. Drugs and crime has made the area unsafe for young girls. Social services and the police know what is going on. I have witnessed anti-west and anti-Jew posters and leaflets appear in shops run by young bearded Muslims. I watched the Islamists mobilise the Muslim community right under my nose. Before 9/11 the time I could not name it, but I knew something was not right, but it was being done in the name of Islam.

I left because there was no way I was going to raise my children as a lone mother in a community where the Imams or mosques did nothing to serve the community or teach a plural Islam. Even the schools were allowing little primary school girls to wear headscarves, and that has nothing to do with religion. The extremists have had over twenty five uncontested years to mobilise the minds of British Muslims and their backwardness now dominates some areas.

Gina Khan on Breaking the Silence

Being a British Asian woman from a Pakistani ethnic background, a Muslim, the atrocities commited in the name of Islam effected me profoundly. Being a Pakistani had its own stigmas – being female meant being treated as sub-human in relation to the Muslim man. I can see how the ideology works – half the ideology is about oppressing Muslim women. That’s evident when you note that the first thing Islamists do is reverse the rights and freedom of Muslim women, when they do manage to create an Islamic state, as in Afganistan or Iran. I wasn’t going to participate in my own oppression!

I have lived within the Muslim community in Birmingham. I’m a born and bred brummie, I had been speaking out for a while. I had been writing to a lot of people hoping someone would want to focus on the truth. I knew what I knew and didn’t want to forever remain silent at any cost.

We are engaged in a protracted and widely dispersed war at the Jihadists’ discretion, which I knew had been going on before 9/11; our goverment was in denial…and still is. My insight has been through personal experiences and those of people around me.

My father was indoctrinated with this ideology in the early 1980s…Dad would say ‘you kids don’t know nothing – Islam will take over, there will be mosques everywhere, you must think of your after-life – not this life. Kaffirs will burn in the fire of hell.’

His words would frighten me, and I had no reason to doubt his words of wisdom as he was reading the Quran and attending mosques where pious religious mullahs gave sermons about the Quran. He was becoming anti-Jewish, even though he had never met a Jewish person in his whole life. He was becoming anti-west although he never actually went back to live and retire in Pakistan until mum died.

Now in hindsight I realise he was brainwashed into an ideology – by the same mosques and mullahs in Birmingham that preach tenets of Jihadism. Pensioners as well as the young get indoctrinated. Dad had become colder and more disconnected the more religious he became.

In 1996 I remember seeing flyers and posters advocating meetings for Muslims to talk about Jihad – a call for the ‘umma’ and anti-west propaganda…in a chip shop in Ward End run by mullahs. I remember thinking: why haven’t the police arrested these guys?

When the horrendous events of 9/11 happened , I remember thinking ‘oh my God, they have started to attack the West’. I was gripped in fear…and I understood who the enemy was. I was shocked when I realised that Western governments didn’t know who the enemy was.

I remained silent for most of my life but I was seething with anger at Islamists…how did this goverment not sense what was coming, while many at the grassroots level could sense it ? Remaining silent wasn’t an option for me any more, especially when more Jihadists were being discovered and named locally. Many mujahideens were known to people who had gone off to fight in Jihad in Bosnia. One of the Jihadists who was arrested in Birmingham in February was a friend’s brother. A local British-born Pakistani lad in the armed forces had been killed in action in Afganistan, and I couldn’t believe they wanted to behead someone in the armed forces just to instill fear in us all.

In search of my religion I had also picked up books translated in English from the same bookshops that were raided. I had been a victim of domestic violence…the beating of women authorised in Islamic books and political Islam theories put my faith in turmoil. I’m pleased that other Muslim people are speaking out.

I have stated to many that this war will last at least 25 to 30 years. Prime Minister Brown, just like Mr Blair, won’t use the word ‘Jihad’ – they mention the ideology but never define it to their people, which I believe is counter-productive. Muslims themselves have to understand the concept and reasons behind the ideology, and it isn’t just because of foriegn policy; this ideology was being implemented long before the Iraq or Afganistan war. The only way to really understand the enemy and what Jihad means, is to understand the historical roots of Jihad, intertwined with the history of Muslim women and their struggle to be emancipated.

The real clash is between modern 21st century Muslims living in the present and backward-thinking Muslims with the mindset of the 7th century.

The goverment had until recently engaged and somewhat funded the MCB. In my eyes they are Islamists, they are Jihadists’ mentors.
They are not the voice of British-born Muslims or British Islam. Inayat Bunglawala gets on my nerves…everytime he makes a statement to the press, I wish he’d put a sock in it.

Initially Inayat Bungalawala had supported Osama bin Ladin, calling him a ‘freedom fighter’ in 2001; he supported Wahhabi Clerics and Hamas leaders, and currently these men want a new law so that banning religious discrimination can be implemented – which could shut down debates about Islam.

I know that I will have ‘issues’ if I’m critical of my religion and the supremacist attitude that govern us all currently…..

but what the heck, Islamists disrespect our logical reasoning and humanity every day. I have a right to my full humanity…I do not believe that whoever created me wanted me or any other woman to walk out of the front door with half the IQ He blessed us with, no one could suppress/oppress me or shut me up again – ask my ex-husband. I don’t want my daughter to have my life…I intend to set her free as a full human being, one day. She was born in a free country. She can write her own life script.

In the mean time I will continue to fight this mentality and backward mindset – I will exercise my freedom of opinion and debate…that’s what democracy is all about isn’t it?

Good luck with that if you rely on the BBC to support you…the same BBC that loves the veil and promotes the conversion of women to Islam….on ‘Woman’s Hour’ of all places.

Yasmin Alibhai-Brown: Who’d be female under Islamic law?  In Muslim states, violence against women is validated. A dark age is upon us.

The Talibanisation of British childhood by hardline parents  ‘I have met Muslim lawyers and academics who have turned to Taliban-style beliefs’…

Make no mistake, Taliban devotees are in our schools, playgrounds, homes, mosques, political parties, public service, private firms and universities.

And if we are to have any hope of combating them, we need to stop this attitude of appeasement and understand why so many Muslims are attracted to the most punishing forms of belief, suppressing women and children.

Eye-watering amounts of Saudi money goes into promoting Wahhabism.

They fund mosques, religious-schools, imams, conferences and trips to Saudi Arabia.

They are our wealthy allies and so are never questioned or stopped.

Free-thinking Muslims have lacked courage to oppose what is going on, while politicians do nothing for cynical reasons – best, they think, not to antagonise possible voters.

Meanwhile, the liberal position is to let people be and do what they wish within the law. Liberals tolerate the intolerable because they don’t have to live with the consequences. Yet the problem is in part caused by liberal values.

To me, that hands-off approach makes no sense.

Why are we fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan and indulging Taliban values here?

Even if it offends liberal principles, the powerful must find a way of stopping Islamicists from promulgating their distorted creed.

If they don’t, the future is bleak for Muslims and the country. Many of us British Muslims care deeply about both.

Always interesting and instructive what the BBC deems newsworthy and what it deems to be worthwhile covering up.

Here are three perfect illustrations of this from recent times showing how the BBC covers up information that is damaging to its favoured races, religions, groups and ideologies.

The first is in fact a double hit, two for one for the BBC (a BBC still taking money from the EU to peddle EU propaganda in one form or another) as its reluctance to report this covers up issues around the EU and the horrifying prospect of Brexit and immigration.  From the Telegraph:

Government accused of cover-up as data suggests million EU migrants unaccounted for in Britain

Ministers have failed to release data which experts believe could show the true number of EU migrants coming to the UK, claiming that it would be “unhelpful” to Mr Cameron’s current renegotiation with Brussels ahead of the in-out referendum.

Has the BBC been doing a relentless and rigorous investigation of this obvious bit of pro-EU cover-up by Cameron?  No.  No surprise there.  Why rock the boat and upset the applecart?

Second example of the BBC’s covering up of unwelcome news  is the very unwelcome report from the High Level Military Group that looked into Israel’s actions in Gaza.  The BBC are always chomping at the bit to put into headlines any condemnation of Israel from the likes of the UN (a very corrupt organisation) and Amnesty International…not so quick to report expert opinion like this that puts a case for Israel.  It’s conclusions…from Harry’s Place:

We are under no doubt that Israel did not want this conflict and sought actively to avoid it, pursuing avenues of de-escalation in every phase of the conflict. Israel’s extensive civil defence measures played a significant part in allowing its political and military leaders the strategic space to be deliberate in expanding military operations in each phase only once avenues to avoid escalation were exhausted. Ultimately, Israel had no choice but to defend its citizens from the rocket assault launched by Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups and the threat posed by the cross-border assault tunnels.

Hamas not only indiscriminately targeted Israeli civilians throughout the conflict with extensive rocket fire, but wilfully sought to draw the IDF into a prepared stronghold amid Gaza’s civilian population. It is important to note that Hamas actively sought the death of its own civilians as an advantageous reinforcement of its strategic concept aimed at the erosion of Israel’s legitimacy .

We further note that in reviewing commentary from the United Nations Human Rights Council, a number of NGOs such as Amnesty International, and sections of the media commentary on the 2014 Gaza Conflict, there are stark, unwarranted condemnations of the IDF’s conduct that do not accord with our own examination. We believe that where ideological motivation can be discounted, the principal reason for this disparity is the absence of the appropriate military and legal expertise and judgement in much of this commentary.

Further, it is alarming to see these institutions and organisations in certain instances accord equal weight to the actions and assertions of a terrorist organisation and a democratic state.

Note the HLMG criticises those reporting or commenting for being either ideologically motivated to attack Israel or lacking expertise and judgement.  Both accusations can be levelled at the BBC  for its abysmal, one-sided reporting of that war.

Third example of the BBC cover up is the usual pandering to Muslim sensibilites and the BBC’s narrative that says if we tell the truth about Islam and Muslims then the non-Muslim population will not welcome Muslims into their country or community….and that is so unfair not to mention xenophobic and racist..attacking Islam without reason or foundation, just baseless, animal hatred.

The government released a report on the Muslim Brotherhood, Jeremy Bowen’s non-violent, moderate Islamists.  The BBC reported it but it didn’t mention crucial facts that would make clear what is going on in Muslim communities in the UK and raise alarming questions about that.

Nowhere in the BBC report will you find mention of who it is in the UK that the Muslim Brotherhood is closely tied to in the ‘moderate’ Muslim community.  No where does the BBC mention the close ties to the Muslim Council of Britain which is the major and most representative organisation of British Muslims, nor the Muslim Association of Britain (also closely tied to the SNP who recruited MAB members, regardless of their reputation and own words, to be SMPs in order to win the Muslim vote).

‘In the 1990s the Muslim Brotherhood and their associates established public facing and apparently national organisations in the UK to promote their views. None were openly identified with the Muslim Brotherhood and membership of the Muslim Brotherhood remained (and still remains) a secret. But for some years the Muslim Brotherhood shaped the new Islamic Society of Britain (ISB), dominated the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB) and played an important role in establishing and then running the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB). MAB became politically active, notably in connection with Palestine and Iraq, and promoted candidates in national and local elections. The MCB sought and obtained a dialogue with Government.’

The Muslim Brotherhood is a Muslim supremacist group that gave rise to Al Qaeda and Hamas, its aim is a global Islamic caliphate…and one of the BBC’s favourite Muslim talking heads, Tariq Ramadan, is a member (though he hates to admit it as it damages his credentials as a moderate ‘reformer’…despite his whole family being closely tied to the organisation).

Why would the BBC not like to openly admit links between such an organisation and ‘respected’ British Muslim groups that are highly representative of UK Muslims?

Here is the BBC desperately trying to avoid association with ‘moderate’, everyday Muslims…note it is just extremists or ‘individuals’ (ie trying to say there isn’t widespread support in the UK for their narrative) whom the BBC makes the link to…

Some groups proscribed under terrorism laws in the UK adopted the Brotherhood’s core thinking about a global Muslim identity into their own ideologies.

“Individuals closely associated with the Muslim Brotherhood in the UK have supported suicide bombing and other attacks in Israel by Hamas… which describes itself as the Palestinian chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

Oh hang on a quick mention of possible links to groups that ‘claim to represent’ Muslims in the UK…

Mr Cameron said the Brotherhood had influenced groups in the UK which claimed to represent ordinary Muslim communities in talks with government.

Like that ‘influenced’…kind of covers up the fact that the MAB and MCB are MB creations…and what of that ‘claim to represent’?  They do represent….the MCB is widely recognised as the goto group for comment on Muslim affairs….the BBC itself has it on speed dial if it wants a guaranteed condemnation of government security policies….either the MCB or that Trojan Ass Baroness Warsi.

Curiouisly there is no comment from the MCB in this article.  Odd that.  No?

Wait, there’s more…I said I’d show three examples of the BBc covering up unwelcome news but here’s another (and there’s another as well but it deserves a separate post).

The BBC refuses to criticise Islam, and thereby believers of the religion in the UK, in order to ‘maintain a civil society and cohesion’.  on the other hand it does criticise Islam, or as it calls it ‘an extreme, strict, intolerant, version of islam’…is there more than one Islam?  Who knew?

For this purpose Saudi Arabia is the whipping boy, the lighting rod for ‘acceptable’ criticism of ‘intolerant’ islam…no coincidence that Saudi Arabia is allied to the ‘orrible West and buys lots of its weapons from us….the BBC doesn’t like that….its friends in Iran don’t either.

The BBC attacks Saudi Arabia for its intolerant version of Islam in an article that strangely tries to distance Saudi Arabia from ISIS but fails to mention the more important funding links between Saudia and the UK (amongst many, many other countries that Saudi spends lots of money in to buy influence and new recruits to Islam).

How can the BBC possibly miss out such a relevant and important fact about Saudi funding for Mosques, Madrassas, Islamic cultural and information centres and UK universities as well as of course buying up the High and Mighty of this land with mega deals and sporting buy outs?

The BBC’s friend of the Islamists of the MCB which tried to hijack British schools, Phil Mackie, spent a long time not so long ago praising Birmingham’s Green Lane Mosque for its anti-extremist messages and yet it is a mosque with a history of extremism and was at the centre of the C4 ‘Undercover Mosque’ exposé…from Harry’s Place in 2010…

This is a hardcore Wahhabi institution that is much reviled in the local community and known for bringing in hardline Wahhabi clerics in order to preach intolerance and hate.

A major Birmingham institution, the Green Lane Mosque (headquarters of the national Markaz Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith organization) will host two extreme Wahhabi clerics who bolster al-Qaeda narratives by advocating:

• Taking up arms against the ‘enemies of Islam’ in order to spread Wahhabi Islam
• ‘Preparing all the weapons we can’ and raising the ‘banner of jihad’
• Forcibly implementing their understanding of Shari’ah as state law

They have also said that:

• Islam is under attack from enemies, among the worst of whom are Jews
• Non-Muslim nations want to destroy Islam
• The Jews have ‘smeared creation and defaced mankind’
• The Jews were responsible for initiating both world wars and ending the Ottoman Empire (or Caliphate)

Whether visiting speakers to Green Lane Mosque criticise Al-Qaeda or otherwise does not however settle the matter; extremist Wahhabi Islam is routinely preached at the mosque.  On its own website Green Lane Mosque boasts that it has “excellent contacts with illustrious Scholars throughout the world, especially with Saudi Arabia.”

Well that’s four examples, five if you count the next post, of the BBC covering up serious issues surrounding Islam in the UK…and EU immigration is part of that discussion as millions of Muslims invade Europe under the guise of refugees and economic immigrants but bringing with them the ancient beliefs and attitudes that will tear Europe apart.

Lord Hall Hall’s immigration extremist BBC is happy to appease the jihadi extremists in order for a ‘peaceful life’….a peaceful life that may not last very long.   The BBC’s ideologically motivated gerrymandering of the news will bring exactly what it seeks to avoid…only many times worse.

Large number of refugees entering Europe is serious security risk, warns head of EU’s border agency

According to Western intelligence services, Islamic State militants had probably procured tens of thousands of real passports after taking control of local authorities in parts of Syria, Iraq and Libya.

They may also have seized machines used to produce identity documents.

The newspaper said, without specifying its sources, that Islamic State was doing a brisk trade in the passports, which sell for between £700 and £1,000 on the black market.

The BBC has played a very large part in that serious security risk as it did its utmost to cheerlead for mass, uncontrolled immigration but also, unforgiveably, sought to downplay and deny the entry of terrorists to Europe amongst those immigrants.  We saw what happened in Paris where terrorists who had been to Syria brought their war back with them to Europe.  The BBC played its part in that.

As Dan Hodges says, there are serious issues that need to be honestly and diligently examined and not brushd under the carpet in order not to upset the very people who are either carrying out the terrorism or do in fact support such acts….

The BBC is wrong. Many Muslims have sympathy with the Charlie Hebdo killings. Far too many.

Germany’s traditionally pro-Israeli stance has been shifting, particularly since the 2014 Gaza campaign.

What is the cause of the violent and often murderous attacks on Jews in Israel and the West Bank at the moment?

Mark Urban tells us…

Hamas may have had a small role to play but the main blame can be laid at the door of the Israelis…in particular right wing Israelis…..a casual dismissal of their views by Urban…he doesn’t bother to explore what they think and the reasons for their approach….They’re just wrong and right wing.  Netanyahu also gets it in the neck as usual….here Urban blames him for the fall out with Obama….

Urban lays most of the blame then for the failed peace talks with the Palestinians at the Israelis’ feet and the subsequent violence is their fault…but hang on…..Urban admits that…..

Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas, meanwhile, has focused efforts on taking Israel to the International Criminal Court for its 2014 campaign in Gaza, trying to halt settlement activity and drawing attention to what he characterises as Israeli attacks on Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem.

That kind of suggests that the real cause of this violence is Abbas…as Urban admits, or rather doesn’t admit, whilst giving us the facts that make it clear Abbas is to blame…..the uprising is in response to rumours of Israeli incursions at Muslim holy sites…

Violence between the two communities has spiralled since clashes erupted at a flashpoint Jerusalem holy site in mid-September.

They were fuelled by rumours among Palestinians that Israel was attempting to alter a long-standing religious arrangement governing the site.

Israel repeatedly dismissed the rumours as incitement.

Why does Urban not make an explicit statement blaming Abbas, and Hamas, for inciting the violence using lies and rumours to stir the trouble?

What is the most significant admission in Urban’s piece?  This is….

Jews will not even be safe in Israel because Muslims in Europe will gain enough power to bring in anti-Israel policies and all because Frau Merkel imported hundreds of thousands of Muslims…and the EU is even now negotiating with Turkey to allow easy access to Europe for Turkey’s 75 million Muslims.

How ironic…Jews once again on the run because of the Germans.

Tory MP Daniel Kawczynski has criticised a Newsnight report on the war in Yemen, or rather it reports on the role Saudi Arabia plays in that war and the supply of arms to Saudi Arabia by the UK……never mind that the airstrikes by the Saudi led coalition are backed by the UN…the BBC implication is that Saudi is deliberately bombing civilians and that the UK is complicit in this ‘war crime’…

The airstrikes are backed by a resolution at the United Nations Security Council. But the UN’s top humanitarian official in Yemen, Johannes van der Klaauw, says attacks on civilian infrastructure are violations of the laws of war.

“Schools and hospitals, markets, enterprises and factories should not be stricken, should not be shelled. Even in warfare there are certain rules, and they are being violated in this conflict,” he said.

Since the conflict started, more than 2,000 civilians have been killed.

They quote a UN offcial but it is they who suggested to him that the Saudis were deliberately targeting civilians and asked him what he thought of that…so the UN official is not talking about facts just a bit of BBC whatifery passed off as truth.

Kawczynski suggested that the BBC’s coverage was biased against Saudi Arabia…

As far as I can see Kawczynski has a case, and Katz a case to answer.  The BBC’s whole programme was set up to attack the Saudi’s role in the war and any British involvement in it.  This was not journalism but propaganda…and it is no different to the BBC reaction to the war in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The war in Yemen was started by the Houthi who have ousted the legitimate president in a coup and tried to take over the country, it wasn’t started by the Saudis.

The BBC has always been anti-war, or rather, anti wars led by Western interests…and Saudi Arabia is closely linked to the hated US.  Wars by doughty rebels of course are loudly applauded and cheerled….witness the BBC’s coverage of the IRA and the likes of Hamas.

Where is the BBC’s equally indepth coverage of Iran’s involvement in inciting and resourcing these wars?  Iran has been a dangerous provocateur in the Middle East for a long time and has frequently provoked wars that seriously destabilise countries…it has supplied the Taliban in Afghanistan, it helped create chaos in Iraq and stoked the civil war, it essentially created Hezbollah and backs the attacks on Israel and of course it now backs Assad in Syria.

The BBC though makes little mention of Iran’s baleful influence on events and its attempts to inflame Shia Muslims inside Sunni countries.  The BBC has always been somewhat pro-Iranian, often preferring to present it not as the aggressor but as a victim of the West…an excuse the BBC trundles out for everything really….blow up some trains in London and you’re a victim of racist oppression, kill Jews in a Paris supermarket and again you’re a victim of the West or its friends….so it’s OK to kill Jews if you are so oppressed!

The BBC’s excuse for not blaming the rebels and Iran?…

Houthi soldiers, some of them no more than teenagers, are accused of firing heavy weapons in built-up areas.

But it is the Saudis and their coalition partners, mainly Gulf Arab countries including the United Arab Emirates, who have overwhelming force.

 

So if you have the biggest army you must be guilty of something even if you didn’t start the war…sounds familiar…if you’re black you can’t be racist as you are ‘powerless’, if you’re a Palestinian you can’t be a murderous terrorist because the powerful Israelis have tanks and planes.

Sounds like the BBC is making up excuses in order to find a reason to peddle their own preferred anti-Saudi, anti- UK arms sales, narrative.

Kawczynski then gets invited onto Newsnight supposedly to allow him to voice his concerns….however it does look like this was just another set up to allow the BBC to attack him and defend itself rather than to do some serious journalism.

The BBC set their rabid attack dog James O’Brien onto him…now the BBC’s recruitment of O’Brien is visible evidence of its bias and intent.  O’Brien hardly merits the title ‘journalist’, his preferred method of attack is to hype a trumped up, malicious charge against someone and when they deny it and prove it is false, to then claim the charge is therefore proven and the defendant a liar….half truths, complete lies and fabrications are the stock in trade for O’Brien.  His infamous kangaroo court when he tried to smear Nigel Farage with a litany of falsehoods and nonsense was the thing that got him recruited to the BBC…as I said you have to raise questions about the BBC when it deliberately recruits someone who is so visibly prejudiced against UKIP and who clearly doesn’t let the facts stand in the way of a good character assassination.

His interview is arrogant, condescending and patronising.  When Kawczynski raises the question as to why the BBC is not also investigating Houthi atrocities O’Brien brushes that aside and claims that Kawczynski is trying to control what the BBC reports…..when in fact all he is doing is to raise a legitimate concern about the BBC’s very evident lack of balanced reporting.

The editor of Newsnight, the Guardianista, Ian Katz, intervenes with a Tweet claiming that Kawczynski is only complaining about BBC bias because he is paid to act in the interests of Saudi Arabia….

Curiously Katz doesn’t mention that Tory MP Crispin Blunt, who backs the BBC, has taken money from Jordan, also a member of the Saudi led coalition in Yemen…..surely, on the basis that if you receive money from one country you must therefore be representing their interests, Blunt should also be supporting the war.  Perhpas Jordan should ask for its money back…or Katz apologise for his deliberate libel.

He may have to apologise in court though…as Kawczynski suggests he may sue:

Mr Kawczynski told The Independent on Sunday, that he planned to write to the BBC’s  director-general, Lord Hall, to demand an apology and a correction about Mr Katz’s tweet.

“What [Mr Katz] is deliberately suggesting is because I’ve accepted hospitality from Saudi Arabia, I’ve somehow been in their pockets, spouting what they want me to spout,” he said. “That’s a huge, deliberate attempt to smear me and others, rather than engage in the debate … I consider it a libellous tweet and I’m considering suing him.”

Katz isn’t of course always concerned with details or too up to date on Middle East politics, being a sleepy little fellow…
