Jeremy Whine’s knuckle-dragging on the oh-so-impartial BBC:

Throughout their coverage of last night’s local election results the oh-so-pleased-with-himself Jeremy Whine repeated, ad-nauseam, the oh-so-clever sequence in the clip above with such enthusiasm he seemed at risk of wetting himself with excitement.

I wonder how many other groups the BBC would dare to depict thus…

    Biased BBC, more like naughty BBC.
    The BBC has an article on the poor innocent Brazilian shot dead by uncover police offices last year in a dreadful mistake;

    “ No charges follow Menezes ‘leak’
    No-one will face charges over the alleged leak of papers from the Jean Charles de Menezes shooting probe.

    Fine I can accept that as genuine reporting from the BBC
    Scroll down the page and the BBC has this to say about the incident;

    “They also contradicted claims he had been wearing a bulky coat, saying he was in fact clad only in a light denim jacket.”

    That’s rather interesting as far as I can say the police never made that allegation. In fact I actually remember where I read such a supposition;
    “A passenger has told how he saw armed police officers shoot a man dead on a Tube train at Stockwell.”
    Followed later by:
    “He [the suspect] had a baseball cap on and quite a sort of thickish coat – it was a coat you’d wear in winter, sort of like a padded jacket. I was distraught, totally distraught. It was no less than five yards away from where I was sitting
    “He might have had something concealed under there, I don’t know. But it looked sort of out of place with the sort of weather we’ve been having, the sort of hot humid weather”

    Taken from the BBC webpage at
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4706913.stm
    In fact as far as I know the police never made a statement saying that he was wearing a bulky jacket. The BBC did. In fact in this summary of the events that transpired the BBC acknowledge this fact;
    “Scotland Yard had said on the day that his clothing had added to suspicions but had not elaborated further.”
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4158832.stm

    So BBC for you to try and suggest that the Police are guilty of misinformation. The claims of him wearing a bulky jacket came from your newsroom. To omit the news source and lead in the direction that there was some form of cover up is very naughty indeed.
    But hey I am talking Biased BBC

    Biased BBC and its continuing pitiful saga against the US of A.

    A member of the religion of Plumbers is up on the stand AGAIN over a shooting campaign he committed against innocent people in Montgomery County (USA) where 6 people were shot dead.

    Note he not only was caught red handed in possession of the weapons used , but in the modified vehicle he used to launch his shooting spree. To that end he was found guilty in a court of law in 2004.

    So how does Al Beeb report on this man;

    “Opening statements are expected in a Maryland court on Thursday as one of the men accused of being the Washington sniper faces a second murder trial.”

    ACCUSED???
    He was found guilty. Not even a Blind man in a dark room on a dark night couldn’t fail to see he was the man.

    Why is it Al Beeb that when Plumbers are up in the dock they are always innocent in your eyes.

    I have just sent a complaint in to the BBC regarding this degrading spectacle

    “Election 2006, Newsnight 5/5/06. I think it was in very bad taste to show past leaders of the conservative party as if they are knuckle dragging Neanderthals. If you thought this was OK why wasn’t Tony Blair shown going in the other direction from “walking straight” to “knuckle dragging”? Why does the BBC have to use licence payers money to produce such graphics, when serious debate would be more enlightening?”

    I think that this is really futile but I was so disgusted. The complaints system does seem a bit daft though, even if they agree that it was in bad taste the damage has already been done.

    Dont worry about the apeman stuff to much. Because, did you not notice something about the coverage on the TV media in general last night? That was that the media seem to have got bored, as much as the voters have with the government. I think some political commentaters have run out of things to write, so need a new government to start slaging off.

    The media think that at least they might find DC with his trousers down with someone other than his wife. I think they have given up thinking TB has still got it in him.

    I share your frustration with Tory politicians. However I cant remember ever hearing a Tory in opposition or government ever defend themselves or the party very well. So I cant really expect them to start now. I would be interested if you can think of anyone, who could actualy, “pull it off.”

    They are all to grammer and public school for all that stuff. Perhaps with another 150 Tory MPs there might be the odd “pleb” that gets though the net.

    It would be nice to see at least one Tory MP getting a bitt “down and dirty” sometimes if not just for the entertainment value alone.

    Respect are now the second biggest group on Tower Hamlets council.”

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4977798.stm

    For a party which apes the BNP with its political agenda. I don’t find AL Beeb criticising anybody for the so called Breakthrough it made. In fact I’m surprised that Al Beeb has mentioned anything about how 99.99% of the vote it has collected will be Islamic. (The power of cohesion perhaps Al Beeb.) I understand only too well how the so called Uncles and Aunties of the Islamic village system have transplanted themselves into the Uk and thus tell the Plebs who to vote. But alas while Al Beeb is more than happy to send undercover reporters into the Schools,Police,Army and the BNP (Whom I still think are a bunch of racist bigots) we find Al Beeb fawning at the feet of a group of people whom make the political ideology of the BNP seem like a kinder garden dinner party in comparison.
    My point Al Beeb Respect the so called wonder party is as a threat to the UK as is the BNP. Calling one evil while remaining quiet on the other shows how polarised the BBC is in its so called apolitical reporting.

    Militant or Terrorist?

    Five dead as Israelis strike Gaza

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4978486.stm

    Five people have been killed in an Israeli air strike in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian officials say.

    An Israeli army spokeswoman said the strike had targeted a training area for militants in Gaza City.

    The area is believed to be used by a group involved in launching rockets from Gaza into southern Israel.

    The Israeli military said the militants were training for attacks on Israel.

    Militant commander [This is a headline in the article.]

    Members of the group – one of the smaller militant organisations operating in Gaza – were on some kind of exercise in what is an area of trees and open ground, says the BBC’s Alan Johnston in Gaza.

    A [sic] official from the militant group, Abu Mujahid, told the Associated Press news agency that at least three missiles landed in the field. The strike left body parts scattered and pools of blood on the ground, the agency said.

    The strike apparently took place close to the house of the group’s top militant commander, Moumtaz Dourghmush.

    Gunmen fired into the air and called for revenge outside the hospital where the dead men had been brought, Reuters news agency said.

    In recent months, Israel has stepped up military activity in Gaza as a response to repeated rocket fire.

    Last week, one Palestinian was killed and two injured in what the Islamic Jihad group said was an Israeli attempt to kill one of its leaders. Israel said it attacked militants on their way to strike Israeli territory.

    The Israeli army said troops were carrying out a raid to arrest a militant when they encountered the demonstrators.

    Here’s the only instance of the dreaded ‘T’ word being mentioned:

    “We carried out a strike against a terror target of the Popular Resistance Committees where armed militants were training,” a spokeswoman told the AFP news agency.

    I tried to see whether AFP had in fact used that exact wording but couldn’t find the report on a Google search. But between the BBC and the AFP it’s almost a given that the IDF spokeswoman was misquoted on militants.

    Anyway, the score is:

    Five/people/militants/group/members/official/gunmen/men/rocket/Palestinian = 22

    Terror = 1

    He was convicted of the “Virgina” shootings. So, he stills stand “accused” of the Washington shootings. Maybe a small difference to some, but others would argue he’s innocent till proven guilty.

    The reason they are trying him for the Washington shootings seperately, is in case he wins an appeal in Virgina. They want a back up conviction.

    Simo – even the bias of the bbc can’t win the next election for Labour. They should be very careful what they wish for. I think “The Scottish socialist” as an audience member on Question Time called Gordo will be anathema to a majority of voters. All the Blair attacks have shielded Gordon from real public scrutiny so far. But I think it will be a case of the more they see the more they don’t like – a sign of this came from several anti-Brown letters on today’s Today. I do agree however – a resurgent Conservative party is going to be a major trauma for beeboids.

    Yes RE. Norman Tebbit
    But hes a bit old now. Even he was never seen before 1979. When Thatcher took over a whole new type of Tory came out of the woodwork. During the 80s a large influx of new Tory MPS also made a lot of difference to the Tories tone and class base. It probely would again.

    The Tory Party has changed, because the situation and therefore the job to be done has changed. Getting past the statist MSM is the primary objective. Being able to run the country, without the full scale opposition of the BBC,is also a challenge.

    The problems of this country are very bad, but nothing like as bad as 1979. It is clear to DC that the econemy will not be as tottaly screwed as 1979, and the trade unions are mainly still in their cages.

    The Tories can win without table thumping. However if I got elected to be an MP, I would not be able to keep my mouth shut for one day. Which is only one reason why, I would never get elected in the first place. Smileing really does work much better. Especialy as Gordon Brown and Tony Blair cant anymore.

    Here’s a prime example of BBC misinformation. These were their poll predictions in April:

    “Ahead of Mr Cameron’s speech, research for the BBC’s Newsnight has suggested the Tories will lose council seats in the local elections. The Conservatives will drop 4% from their 2004 vote share, scoring only 33% of the vote and lose 75 seats, the research suggests. Using council by-election results since January, Professor Colin Rallings from Plymouth University says the Liberal Democrats will be up 2%, gaining 190 seats. According to the professor, Labour will gain 2% in vote share, but still lose 130 seats.”

    Infuriating that they aren’t confronted with this politically loaded junk.
