WHERE’S WALLY?

Gordon Brown, you remember him…Prime Minister and Leveson stalwart…..but where is he now?  Even the BBC seem to have lost track of him…..

Funny old world when one of the most important characters in the last 15 years in British politics  goes off the BBC radar…and he didn’t make the ‘New Elizabethans’ either…those Britains who have had the greatest influence…for good or bad….in the reign of  the Queen.

‘Even the BBC seem to have lost track of him…..’
It appears to be a matter of parameters.
What he DID say, a lot, was that he ‘got it about right’ (everyone else being wrong), which I suspect was good enough for the BBC.
Did they ever decide to pursue his memory of what happened on a few specifics vs. that of Mr. Murdoch, as confirmed by their own Mr. Neil.
I don’t recall seeing much on that.
And now Nick Robinson is on one of his several month ‘breaks’ for the school hols, guessing we never will.
Still, looking at what’s really important, newswise, today, there are a few bones that may tempt him to pen one of his famous ‘I didn’t check the facts but here’s my analysis anyway’ posts from wherever he is sunning himself

The infographic you reproduce is clearly arranged in numerical order, and doesn’t reference every single Leveson witness, only the ones who frequently professed to not recall or not remember in answer to questions posed them.

That in itself will give anyone with a modicum of intelligence a couple of clues as to why Brown and many other witnesses don’t appear within the graphic.

BBC conspiracy, or stupidity on the part of Vance? I know which I’d choose.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us on this issue.

Mr Vance and all the other bloggers on here are well aware of the Biased BBC guidelines on impartiality; it is central to our ethos and something we take very seriously. I’ve reviewed the item in question and believe it is slightly more nuanced than you suggest. It is not the aim of this blog to be balanced in each and every post. Rather, the aim is to represent what could be considered as the range of acceptable views over a reasonable period of time. In this case the piece is clearly intended to be light-hearted; context is important.

However, I accept that you disagree on this particular matter, and your post will remain on the site, unmoderated and uncensored for others to comment on.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to comment on this post.

Dopey Dez the Dimwit Droid pwned again (and again and again and again).

You know that little kid at school with the cotton wool in his ears and a plaster over one lens of his NHS glasses who everyone used to beat up. Well he used to beat up Dez

Yes, I was wondering what the purpose of this infographic was when my 18 year old, who had seen it, said, ‘guess who couldn’t remember most?…it doesn’t look good does it?’
Job done BBC. The subliminal message becomes clear.
But thinking ahead, perchance they stumbled on this, what inference on a defendent’s integrity might a potential juror draw, if he / she were, say, to sit in judgement on one of those named? I think that those legally respresenting Brooks et al might want to look closely at this and insist the the BBC take this down. It has the potential to impede a fair trial.
And another thing! In these ‘stats’ you wont see the more significant of the Leveson witness transactions. Murdoch’s, ‘I was threatened with war’ phone call doesn’t count as a ‘can’t remember’; nor does Browns, ‘I did not make that call.’ While someone might genuinely not remember (and is by inference criticised), in this case someone is clearly LYING – but that’s not worthy of comment or analysis in BBCland.

The fact remains that as far as BBC airtime given to this disaster of a chancellor is concerned, he didn’t really exist.

I prefer the ‘queenie’, who would say ‘off with his head’. Now where’s that chopping block?

I started to look through David Cameron’s evidence to Leveson to see what he couldn’t remember. The first three I found were these:

    Q. In your dealings with third parties [when he was a special adviser 92-94] , to what extent, if ever, did you express an opinion which was not the opinion of your minister, without making it clear that it wasn’t?

    A. Well, it’s quite a long time ago, so it’s hard to
remember all the interactions I had.

    […}

but on occasions I’m sure I would have made clear to people my own view about something, but I can’t think
    of particular instances.

    Q. What was your reaction to Mr Blair’s “feral beast”
speech of June 2007, aside from the fact that it was
a few days before he was departing?

    A …… I can’t remember what I said at the time……

    Q. Thank you. Can we move forward to a point you make in paragraph 131, which links in with this. Page 04138.3. Dealing with the issue of campaigns, which you’ve covered, you say in the last sentence that you’ve never traded or offered a position on policy in return for the support of any media outlet. Do you believe that others have?

    A. I can’t think of any particular examples.

Then I got bored. If you want more truly shocking instances of David Cameron failing to remember, ask the BBC. What’s more, I was then overly excited by the prospect of listening to Owen Shoutie-Jones quickly following on from Ken Livingstone on Nicky Campbell’s programme and couldn’t concentrate.

And in case anyone’s wondering, no, Nicky did not ask Ken anything about the Ken the liar story. The BBC’s blackout of this story continues.

Hilarious. 5Live has just told me that Charlotte Church has accepted libel damages. Who else has accepted libel damages recently, BBC, and for what reason?

    “WHERE’S WALLY?”

Well, Wally Brownshite SHOULD be in a prison cell, but after the IMF VERY wisely told him ‘thanks but no thanks’ to become their new MD – and they went for Lagard instead, Ban Ki-moon has just appointed elusive leftie reject Wally as United Nations Special Envoy on Global Education.
So, like with his beloved ever indoctrinating BBC, Wally is still well and truly hard at it with the get-’em-while-they’re-young brainwashing shit!

I noticed that the Caledonian Cyclops was quite at the moment and came to the view that the BBC wanted him out of the limelight so that voters forget how closely the current Labour leadership were to him. Clearly he was one of the most unpopular politicians (people) of all time and the strategy seems to have been to distance Milliband and Balls from the memory of that truly appalling man.

As I have said before, once they have sorted his meds out, and he has finished bouncing his nokia off the wall of his padded cell in Auchtermuchtie or wherever, Bruin will once again take his rightfull place on our TVs and Radios as “The man who saved the world”.

They had a trial run yesterday – he had lunch with the Queen, along with Cameron, Bliar and Major. He looked so doped up as to be catatonic! I doubt if Her Majesty noticed any difference.

  11. The other day, while I was at work, my sister stole my iPad and tested to see if
it can survive a twenty five foot drop, just so she can
be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now broken and she has 83 views.

I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with
    someone!
