Heard the news that the “ceasefire expired” yesterday and that Israel was firing rockets amidst the Gazan populace.
I therefore knew that Hamas had unilaterally broken any notion of a ceasefire and attacked Israel…so Israel was fighting back.
I knew this because when the BBC use the passive tense, it`ll be THEIR boys who`ve jumped the gun.
Had it been the Jews breaking the ceasefire, the active tense would have been used and Israel would clearly have been in the dock.
So Hamas attack Israel after three days…and this will, of course be all the fault of Israel for-well existing, I suppose!
But-Israel negotiators have left eh “peace talks” in Cairo….so Hamas are well within their rights to fire rockets to remind the Israelis not to forget to write to them.
Utter lazy, phoned in bias 24/7…and the BBC still think we don`t know what they`re doing.
Still-now that the Kurds and Christians are under the cosh in that evil empire of Shaitan…the need for Israel to have its own sanctuary behind secure borders is more pressing than ever.
If they did not, you know all too well what ISIS would do to the Jews…who they hate FAR more than anyone else.
Hope Obama gets a bit of Bibis steel and packs Isis off to Paradise as soon as possible….the world needs them gone.

According to Brietbart it looks like Mohammed is going to be the most popular boys name for last year, after being second the previous year. But like last year the BBC won’t admit to it because conveniently they will omit the fact that there are numerous spellings of the name, so still it will be Harry in first place…..

Not often that I can praise the BBC but todays demo for Gaza saw a reporter ask the Muslims why he was there, and cue the usual rant, but then he asked if he condemned Hamas for the firing of rockets – no chance, he refused point blank with weasel words about condemning all human rights abuses.
Asked a second time he just repeated his answer. It’s difficult to ask for more than that.

Only now, as Obama sanctions military action, does West’s political class (inc Beeboids) attempt to get up the speed on the nature of the murderous military threat from Islamic State (ISIS). Now, they bleet: ‘why didn’t we take it more seriously before now?’ Of course, the West’s political class has long chosen to be in denial about Islamic jihad threat globally, even supporting Hamas.

To really get up to speed, West’s political class should read daily and understand websites such as ‘Jihadwatch’
    http://www.jihadwatch.org/
    and ‘Atlas Shrugs’ http://pamelageller.com/

It’s interesting to see, as top news (as I write this) on the BBC News webpage the image of a precision heat-seeking missile hitting an alleged jihadist target.

It’s all very clean when Obama fights a war. Nothing messy. Only the bad guys die.

I don’t recall similar pictures when George W. Bush was in charge. There were such precision strikes. The BBC was happier to show other images.

    another civilian iranian aircraft crash.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-28730582

yet another excuse to remind us that this is the fault of ” the West” for imposing awful sanctions on the lovely iranian government.

“Iran has suffered a series of plane crashes, blamed on its ageing aircraft and poor maintenance record.

Iran is still flying planes bought before the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

International trade sanctions were imposed after the hostage crisis which followed, during which 52 Americans were held hostage in Tehran for 444 days.

Many Iranian planes are fitted with unofficial spare parts.

There have been more than 200 accidents involving Iranian planes in the past 25 years, leading to more than 2,000 deaths.”

get the message ? – have they rammed it home clearly ?

the only fly in the ointment is that the plane that crashed is a Ukrainian designed AN140, built in Iran, in 2008.

    http://aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=20140810-0

How this is the fault of “the West” is beyond my understanding.

Excellent point…..the information is out there for all..including the BBC

Head of Iran’s civil aviation authority Reza Nakhjavani said all operations of the Russian-built Tu-154 must end by February 19.

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said late last year that his ministry was ready to mass-produce the IRAN-140 passenger and cargo aircraft that is said to be capable of carrying 52 passengers more than 1,800nm.

The first IRAN-140 aircraft was introduced by Iran in 2003. Five domestically-manufactured IRAN-140 planes were completed in October 2008 to increase the air force’s transportation capacity and upgrade the marine surveillance capabilities. now the first eight are beleived to be ready to enter service with Iran’s domestic airlines

      • RGH says:

The problem has nothing to do with ageing western aircraft…but the Tu 154..for which parts were always available.

ran’s state-owned aircraft manufacturing company HESA has signed a letter of intent with Antonov for 50 An-148 regional jets for delivery in the next eight years.

The bulk of the 70-seaters will be assembled locally from kits, although an initial few are expected to be supplied directly from the KiGAZ Aviant plant in Kiev and the VASO factory in Voronezh. The contract, which is expected to be finalised next year, calls for an increasing level of local production as the programme progresses. HESA has a similar existing deal with Antonov for local production of the An-140 turboprop.

The majority of the 50 An-148s will be delivered to Iranian airlines via HESA, which will also provide aftersales support acting as primary local contactor for MRO services. The LoI calls for the creation of a comprehensive production training system and possibly a pilot training centre in Kiev using existing Antonov infrastructure.

How would you describe your ethnic origin?

    Mixed: White and Black African
    Mixed: White and Asian
    Mixed: Other Mixed
    Middle Eastern
    Chinese
    Other Ethnic Group
    Prefer not to say

How the hell is any of the above relevant other than an information gathering exercise with my IP address also being duly noted (as the following page also asked where was I right now) end the survey off with ‘Did I have any disabilities’ and I’d felt like I’d just applied for a job at my local council.

This confirms to me that the BBC considers it more important to seek to appeal to minorities other than the majority of indigenous licence payers, who it completely fails to represent these days. I was a little surprised that I wasn’t asked about my ‘sexual orientation’ !

UKIP defends MEP’s ‘Hitler speech’ advice – http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-28729098

All the guy did was do what the History Channel sometimes does, and explore why particular leaders held such mass appeal (including Churchill and Martin Luther King).

It’s a total non-story that plays to left-wing prejudices about UKIP supporters being closet bigots, and for ‘balance’ there is a quote from a suitably offended Labour MP.

OT(ish), but this does seem to have motivated Ch4 to get interested in ‘reporting’ again, albeit with caveats they have been less keen on issuing elsewhere recently. From my evening Snowjo… Mail:

Yazidis ‘buried alive’ by IS in Iraq

We start in northern Iraq where our team is on the ground and our Foreign Affairs Correspondent Jonathan Rugman will have the latest from Kurdistan. Great care must be taken in times of war (and peace) where everyone is lying and spinning for all they are worth – but a senior Iraqi official claims several hundred women and children have been buried alive by the Islamic State. Equally he says several hundred women have been abducted. Displaced civilians are pouring into cities like Irbil with similar tales it must be said. But independent corroboration has not come to light – and IS of all people are more than willing to put their atrocities on YouTube at the first chance they have.
      —-
Great care being taken indeed. And in the new hearts, minds and other delicacy war being waged for Western journos’ uncritical RTs, I am unsure not waving some heads or offal about on YouTube for once should be the best grounds for doubting it happened. Maybe there’s an UNRWA spokesperson or Gazan Medic not on duty about to confirm?
Not sure the Islamic community (doubtless living in fear, though it seems mostly for as yet unrealised meat product or verbal reaction to what a lot of guys are actually doing in their name) will be too thrilled at the rebranding: Islamic State does seem a descriptive that pulls in a lot of folk who may be less keen on the connotations or association.

    ‘The Village’ 9.00 tonight BBC1

Was looking forward to this drama set in a fictional Derbyshire village in the 1920s, (touch of the Downton Abbey from the plebs viewpoint maybe). I was until I took a look at the review in the Guardian:

Not only do the Beeboids indulge in another slice of anachronstic chicanery but use it as an opportunity to demonise our ‘evil racist’ ancestors!

Beeboids quite like a leftist political chum such as Mr Loach to accuse them (laughingly?) of pro-Israel bias, so that they can then push their propaganda in an even more pro-Hamas direction, which is their political line of travel anyway.

Britain and Europe are in complete and utter denial about this serious and worrying threat of fascist Islam. As I state below, George, Sky News now in their press previews epitomise this cravenness, much of the time through censorship wherein a guest will use ‘religious extremism’ to describe butchering Muslim terrorists. They ARE SO petrified of Islamic repercussions (perhaps a Jihadi knock at their west London door at night?) that they cannot bring themselves to say that a large percentage of Muslims harbour fascist and supremacist sympathies.

We had someone on R5L this morning (sorry didn’t catch his name) talking about how ISIS “misinterpreted” Islam and didn’t realise what a peaceful and tolerant religion it really was. Seriously.

This was in the context of talking about the genocide of the Yazidi currently being carried out by “militants” (which, it was stressed, had not been independently verified).

    • Aerfen says:

Actually you very rarely see a British male with a foreign ethnic female. They are far far keener to encourage the black man/white woman cliche.

I am puzzled by this as I’d expect them to show ethnic Brits mating with everyone, so I suspect there is an element of not wishing to ‘offend’ minority male sensibilities by hinting that there was any threat that ethnic British males might take their women.
Tough call for them as theyd love to slot more foreign ethnic women into dramas, and did so in the Scottish detective drama Shetland, with a very masculine black woman in the role of a forensic ‘expert’ (well she would be wouldn’t she?) Tellingly, even though they had the white alpha male detective lusting after her, she simply flirted, leaving him looking slightly less than ‘alpha’, and reassuring the black male viewer that a mere white male couldnt pull one of their own.

BBC and Sky Scum News now using ‘religious extremism’ instead of Islamic extremism so as not to offend Muslims. Genocide going on but the BBC and Sky Scum News prefer to talk about the public’s appetite for seeing ‘boots on the ground’, the weather and alcohol abuse on their press previews. They are grovelling scum and are totally in thrall to their Muslim masters.

“The director-general does not mind intervening when he sees fit. Last year he suggested that Islam should be treated more sensitively by the media because it is a minority religion in this country.

For all I know, Mr Ahmed may prove himself remarkably sympathetic to the sensibilities of Christians in his new job. One cannot, however, count on that, and it is interesting that he has said there should be more coverage of Muslim matters in the media.
Will this, on the BBC, be at the expense of an already reduced number of Christian programmes?

In all kinds of ways the publicly funded BBC does not reflect the views of the public it is supposed to serve.
No doubt its secular suits assume that Britain is as anti-Christian as they are. They’re out of touch again. In appointing Aaqil Ahmed they do not simply offend against this country’s Christian heritage and traditions. They also further weaken the hold and authority of the BBC”

“This is an excellent and succinct explanation of what’s wrong with the BBC feature series on the Ottoman Empire. Also, it must be asked what the point of this program is — why did the BBC decide to run it at all? Its clear purpose is to becalm the British people regarding the rapid Islamization of their own country: don’t worry! You see the Islamic State murdering and subjugating in the name of Islam, but look how tolerant and cosmopolitan the Ottomans were! No one need be concerned about the overwhelming numbers of Muslim immigrants, and the increasing power of Islamic supremacists in British society! Why, the Sceptered Isle will be a veritable new Ottoman Empire!”
