BLOWING THROUGH THE JASMINE OF MY MIND……

A Biased BBC contributor shared this with me.

“I thought you might be interested in the email below which was just sent out to BBC News staff. Jasmine Williams is also known as Jasmine Lawrence, and these links show what she did ahead of the European and local elections in 2014. Interesting to see the BBC promoting her just before the EU referendum!

This email is being sent to everyone in BBC News on behalf of James Stephenson, News Editor

Dear all,

I am delighted to announce that Jasmine Williams has been appointed as Deputy News Editor on a year’s attachment. She is currently an Assistant Editor on the News Channel, where she has combined editing with a substantial planning role. Jasmine has a wealth of experience working across platforms as a news editor and deployment editor on the desk, planning editor and assignment editor.

Jasmine will be sharing the weekend news editor role and the planning editor role with Toby Castle, rotating between the two sides of the job each month. She will be taking up her new role in May.

James

What joy and not a hint of bias. No Sirree!

What does Jasmine have against “white, middle-class males”? She obviously qualifies on two counts and I’m not entirely sure about the third.

All these people who are good with platforms ought to be sent to work for Network Rail. Our railways are in need of extra qualified staff.

      Cull,

Damn, you just beat me too it ! But I think that anyone who uses “Birtspeak” shows a paucity of intellect.

It is fascinating what rewards are for at the BBC, and who secures them.

Still, the rest of the staff can now be in no doubt what gets you ahead in the corporation.

Expect more ‘views my own’ that are easily forgiven soon.

      Guest,

I would love to know how much the BBC pay their cleaners.

Seems her previous incarnation is still defunct, but a Twitter search of @journomummy reveals an interesting selection of views the public have of the BBC’s latest favoured partial peroxide sink.

It’s “IN” my mind, not “OF” my mind btw. A song that conjures an image of the sweet days of Summer ’74, when the Isley Brothers cover version was featured (get this) on an album from that year whose title was “Black Music”.

Would the bBBC allow that, these days? Or would we all be sent off for some cultural ‘re-education’?

    Otherwise, 100% on the money.
The bBBC. 100% bias. Satisfaction Guaranteed!

‘Music by People of Colour’ somehow doesn’t have the same impact does it…

Still, the title could still stand as long as white people don’t actually say it.

That is just what is wanted at the failing BBC, yet another biased and prejudiced reporter. How many does that make 2000 or more, I think we should be told.

BBC modesty get you into such high giddy places… From Mail news link (above).

‘In 2011 she joined a BBC team responsible for posting breaking news on Twitter before she was promoted to become an assistant editor on the BBC News channel in 2012.

On her LinkedIn profile, Mrs Lawrence, who has a private pilot’s licence, boasted: ‘I’ve been a journalist for 25 years with proven experience in both the commercial sector and within the BBC. ‘I am well versed in making decisions – frequently at speed. I have impeccable editorial judgment.’

So thats OK then. She has impeccable judgement. Hasn’t everyone at the BBC got that?

She reminds me of Joy Johnson who suffered the same ‘modesty’ problem at the BBC but was rehired after trying out her skills for Labour HQ (did not like it) and then went back as a hack to her old job… No questions asked, of course. They do, don’t they.
1990 BBC Joy Johnson became Labour campaigns Media director. (under Tony Blair)
1997 BBC Joy Johnson was also rehired by the BBC after the election. (she failed on modesty)

They obviously have the ‘right stuff’ for the BBC. But it could also be that they are largely unemployable anywhere else. As for her ‘commercial’ experience , one cannot help but wonder what that might be! Money in brown envelopes perhaps!

Have I missed something, not a peep from a Troll for a couple of days now ?
Have they been banned from this site?
Or have they realised that Al Beeb is Biased and cannot defend or support the words emanating from the ‘Ministry of Truth’ any more ?

To be fair, BBBC has been so dysfunctional for the past few days that posting has been a complete PITA. And you know what short attention spans trolls have.

On the other hand, maybe the owner has decided enough is enough. And if he has – GOOD FOR HIM!
