Unlike Cameron, Theresa is not going to show her ‘negotiating cards’. If some MP’s knew what the government was going to go for, they would ‘spill the beans’ to their Socialist friends in Europe, hence getting a poor deal to keep us in ‘by the back door’ . http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37606228
I urge Tory posters on this site to canvass their Tory MPs to back ‘Hard Brexit’ .
Given time Europe will financially implode by the time we leave . God willing.

Calais camp: List of children in the ‘Jungle’ to be given to UK
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-37609973
It was just a matter of time, and I expect they will be quietly slipped in , probably under some deal with the French. I would like the govt to state:
    – the age breakdown of these children
    – their nationalities
    – the actual nature of their relatives ( parent, sibling, cousin, great uncle)
    – the cost involved and how it is to be funded
    – how they arrived at Calais and why they did not apply for asylum already

I would be willing to put money on the likelihood that in the majority of instances the relative they are “reunited” with is a cousin, great uncle or similar. But six months later their actual parent appears at Calais demanding to be reunited with their child, and how cruel it is that the wicked UK government is keeping them apart.

One question that the biased BBC doesn’t ask enough about Obama, is: why are race relations not better in the U.S. given the arrival of the first (half-)Black President?

Even if you were a Republican of conservative views, you might think that, on race relations at least, Obama would be able to lessen divisions and calm things down. Instead, we get Black Lives Matter, Michael Brown and Ferguson (MI), Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman, the Dallas shootings, etc.

Marc Stear, who was the chief speechwriter to Ed Miliband, was given a few minutes to sell his ideas on this morning’s Today programme. For those that have any doubt about the implicit bias within the BBC this is how presenter Justin Webb introduced him:

“How does the centre left rescue it’s appeal, and indeed exert influence? People who like Europe, multi-nationalism, consider themselves to be citizens of the world, care about climate change, and want to reduce inequality …?”

The subliminal message is people that voted Brexit, or support Corbyn, or don’t agree with centre left politics don’t care about the environment or inequality.

I’ll say this for the Blob – they don’t waste time getting in their attack when there’s a Whitey to blame

24 hours ago news was aired regarding ‘Widow’s fury at officials who left crazed cannabis addict free to kill’

The BBC informed us that the killer was ‘Nigerian student’ Femi Nandap. Of course the BBC omitted the further lost nugget of information that the African scholar’s ‘visa had expired’.

Wonder whose rule book put the blue pencil throught that line of news: BBC or NUJ?

The Daily Mail may be regarded in polite society as a bit of a rag but they do say truth is usually the best policy

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3830357/Widow-Islington-stab-victim-Dr-Jeroen-Ensink-speak-sentencing-Femi-Nandap.html

Even the beastly Mail is being a little tentative here: if this chap’s visa has expired and he has not claimed asylum then that tends to make him an illegal immigrant – oh do pass the smelling salts the left-liberals among us may have just had a fit of the vapours…

But don’t worry left-liberals, the BBC and their friendly campaign goups have gone back on the attack this morning. The Blob always fights back. You see this killing was probably our fault. Whitey, I mean.

This morning we’re told Afro-Caribbeans are getting a raw deal from NHS mental health services. Some ex-footballer tells us that his ‘Eton-educated’ doctor just can’t understand the culture of a black footballer. Pity. They’re probably in a similar pay bracket at least? Eton? I don’t know about his doc but our GP was educated in Calcutta. Do you think ‘Eton-educated’ is code for ‘White’. Strange because half the Third World now send their kids there.

The best part about this template BBC diversity angst report are the statistics. Something about 6% of black and 13% white = not fair, discrimination yadda yadda.

The viewer is of course left unclear what these percentages really represent. Proportions of NHS patients, of the wider population – who can tell? For all we are told the Afro-Caribbean population may be far over-represented within the mental health patient population – it seemed the statistics were deliberatly presented in a form that implied unfairness but something more was being hidden.

Still the message got out there. Defence lawyers everywhere please take note of this mitigating evidence which must be true because it was on the BBC.

The NHS get a right to reply and say they are doing ok but inevitably cave in with the statement “we know there is more to be done”. Thereby conceding the point rather than stand up to the accusation of – basically – racialism. What a Blob.

    • RJ says:

From 2005 to 2011 the NHS carried out an annual survey of mental health patients to identify any differences between ethnic groups. A good summary is in the introduction to the 2011 report.

      http://www.cqc.org.uk/content/care-quality-commission-looks-ahead-last-count-me-census-published

Some ethic groups tend to contact services as soon as symptoms show (when treatment in the community is possible), others wait until an illness becomes critical (when admission to hospital is almost inevitable). Some ethnic groups show a high rate of willingness to come into hospital and others resist the idea of voluntary admission and so have a high percentage of sectioned patients. While in hospital ethnic groups respond differently to the conditions and so seclusion rates differ. The differences between ethnic groups in mental health services are not simply between “White British” and everyone else.

As an illustration of the above the Care Quality Commission states:

“Admission rates remain higher than average among some minority ethnic groups, especially Black and White/Black Mixed groups. In contrast, admission rates remain average or lower than average among the south Asian (Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi) and Chinese groups.

Rates of detention under the Mental Health Act are higher than average among the Black, White/Black Caribbean Mixed and Other White groups (but not in other ethnic groups). The rates for detained patients who were placed on a community treatment order (CTO) are higher among the south Asian and Black groups.

Although there have been fluctuations in seclusion rates, they have generally been higher than average for the Black, White/Black Mixed and Other White groups. (Seclusion is the supervised confinement of a patient in a room, which may be locked to protect others from significant harm.)”

I have no doubt that everyone reading this post will have understood the point being made. On the other hand, BBC journalists found it impossible to accept that the differences were caused by anything other than institutional racism.

T May’s exit team can then take the results of the debate into consideration. At least democratic argument would still hold water. I take it BBC interpretation was “Tory brexiteer u-turn”?

Radio 4 11:30 ‘Soul Music’ [1/4] Sam Cooke and the American Civil Rights movement.

    Radio 4 13:45 ‘Britain’s Black Past’ [7/10].

Well, I hope the BBC will give Indians and those of a dark skin colour from further east and Latin America a look in during the November series.

The current Gretchen Gerzina series is being a little racist so far in overlooking the Indians who came to Britain as traders, as servants and also if I recall correctly as students during the period she has under examination.

She has also to date overlooked the Abolition of 1807 and implied that black slavery continued until December 1899 or December 1900, depending on when you wish to end your 19th Century.

      It is simply untrue.

The reality is that the West has no strategic interest in Syria, unless it is to deprive Russia of its only Mediterranean sea port base.
The one country which has had an interest in Syria is Saudi and its Sunni oil rich neighbours which promoted the rebellion against Assad. We know that Obama has long been a puppet president of the Saudis and that Clinton is probably even worse. We know that it was the Sunnis who financed & equipped ISIS.

It would appear that ex Tory Chief Whip Andrew Mitchell is calling for WWIII against Russia which the derranged fool believes the West would ‘win’.

Given the involvement in the Wests politics which Saudi and its allies have, we have to question whether Andrew Mitchell has been promised ‘pecuniary advantage’ for making his comments.

Worse though is the fact that Hilary Clinton is said to be even more hawkish and we know for certain she is the puppet of the oil rich Muslim states.

Even the BBC is horrified at the prospect. Trying to force a no fly zone on the Russians, and then attempting to shoot down their aircraft is a fools errand, and the BBC brought on an ex RAF expert to say so.

Putin is no Saddam or Qaddafi and there’s no way he can be treated in the same way. With fools like this in power we should all be very worried indeed.

Gaxvil – Just another day in the life of a virtue signaller.

We are all horrified, barrel bombs, children, save the children, Get Saint Bob to write a song! we must do something!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately we have already done something – we have encouraged rebellion against a government that led to a situation where the whole country has split into Warring factions.

Essentially you had a country which was basically diverse and secular. There was a balance in the middle east and Syria was always traditionally been in the sphere of influence of Russia.

This whole country was held together by a fairly unpleasant leader but without him the whole pack of cards would collapse and turns in on itself.

As a direct result of Saudi and Western meddling, minorities, within Syria have now been decimated. And probably more have died or been enslaved than ever before.

And now we have an idiot stand up in parliament and preach that we should escalate this war even more, by shooting down Russian jets.

No one in the media really gave that much of a toss when the Yazdis and Christians were being raped, murdered and enslaved. Yes a bit on the news but reporting from the jungle “refugee” camp was so much more newsworthy. But as soon as we receive pictures from Sunni press central showing kids in bandages we have an MP who wants to escalate the situation to even greater depths of depravity.

What does Mitchell think will happen if we shoot down a Russian jet – Putin will put his hands up and walk away!

No Putin is fully committed to this conflict and truth be told Assad is the only man who can hold this country together.

The thing I find most ironic, is that until we started supporting all of these “moderate arabs” and “democratic forces” the minorities in this “evil dictatorship” were all competitively safe. Since meddling has begun the inverse is true.

I am afraid democracy is a luxury that will never work well in the Middle East due to the diverse cultures and beliefs. And the more we try and impose our values upon this area the more people will die!

Pretty much every time the west has tried to “encourage” democracy in the Middle East it has fallen flat on its face. You are dealing with countries where for centuries order has been maintained by the sword and to be honest as far as I can see little has changed. You think the penny would have dropped by now.

The best thing we can do now is to walk away and admit we were wrong – Yes Assad will settle scores, yes some people will be tortured and executed but left alone by the West the country will eventually settle down. However this will never happen until of course the Saudis decide that this is the correct course of action.

Instead I think we will just have to put up with years more of Syrian “war porn” Step forward Emma Jane Kirby and her concerned face – good for your career I suppose Emma Jane but probably not so good for the Syrians.

Still at least we now know what a caring chap Mitchell is. Youve said your bit Andrew, now go away. The best thing we can do is do nothing and stop meddling. Unfortunately I suspect this will not happen until many more have died.

It’s become a proxy war between Saudi and Iran (as has Yemen). It’s about which country is the most powerful with the added twist of the Sunni/Shia conflict that been going on for 1400 years. The Sunnis lost Iraq so they want Syria to restore their pride. The West became involved for two resons; firstly, the Saudis wanted us to, and secondly, it seemed like a clever idea to undermine Russian influence by annexing their naval base in the Med. At the moment Western governments can’t decide whether they/we should be bombing ISIS or providing their air support. We seem to be doing a bit of both.

Yet another topic where the public can only make sense of events if it has information but the BBC will only provide emotion.

I don’t know if anyone else noticed this on the news on R2 yesterday.
There was a report about a family of four, who were killed in a collision with a lorry the driver of which was using his mobile phone at the time; he plead guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.

In the first report I heard about this on the news, the driver was identified as Tomasz Kroker and the newsreader pronounced his name as that; however in a later report that day the pronunciation had altered to the rather more anglicized “Thomas Croker”. This would lead anyone listening to assume it was a British driver and not a Polish one, who had caused the death of a mother and her three children.

Whether it was intentional or not, I don’t know. But how al beebus obfuscates and lies, seemingly, about anything; I wouldn’t be surprised if it was.

The BBC line was sceptical at best…..until the NHS spokesman spelt out that a British person travelling to the USA could not expect free health care then asked why a non UK citizen should expect free healthcare from the NHS “at the expense of people who have contributed to the NHS”.

There was a silence, before “an alternative voice” disputed the figures and cost of health tourism and, whilst not specifically mentioning a magic money tree gave this listener the strong impression that she was a true believer!!

The comments to this nonsense heap ridicule on it, quite rightly. Too many people understand IT for this propaganda to work. Surely the world’s greatest broadcaster wouldn’t repeat anything so lame? (Incidentally, when Trump said ‘acid washed’ he also added that HRC would know it as ‘bleach’)

    “‘Acid-washed emails’

Claim: Donald Trump claims Hillary Clinton “acid washed” 33,000 personal emails to delete them, something he said was an “expensive process”.

Reality Check verdict: A claim that has been debunked before. The FBI said Clinton’s team used a free software programme called BleachBit. No chemicals were used. When he first made this claim, Trump’s campaign said that he did not literally mean “acid washed”, adding that it was a play on words and reference to a joke made by Clinton about “wiping” her email server with a cloth.”

No, the media is not stupid, lazy, arrogant, complacent or a combination of these. Just look at these articles which are either being suppressed by the government but certainly never reported by the BBC.

      http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/syria-crisis-turkey-and-saudi-arabia-shock-western-countries-by-supporting-anti-assad-jihadists-10242747.html

Joint approach by Turkey and Saudi Arabia graphically illustrates how the interests of the Sunni regional powers are diverging from those of the US in Syria

Turkey and Saudi Arabia are actively supporting a hardline coalition of Islamist rebels against Bashar al-Assad’s regime that includes al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria, in a move that has alarmed Western governments.

The two countries are focusing their backing for the Syrian rebels on the combined Jaish al-Fatah, or the Army of Conquest, a command structure for jihadist groups in Syria that includes Jabhat al-Nusra, an extremist rival to Isis which shares many of its aspirations for a fundamentalist caliphate.

      Or alternatively

      https://www.theguardian.com/media/greenslade/2015/nov/25/saudi-arabia-white-daesh-is-the-father-of-isis-says-writer

Saudi Arabia (white Daesh) is the father of Isis, says writer

One of the commenters to my posting, UK newspapers call on Vladimir Putin to keep calm over downed jet, asked:

“What irreconcilable opposing interests do Russia and the west have? Excuse the naive question, but can someone better informed than me say why Russia’s the enemy and (Erdogan’s) Turkey, Saudi Arabia or Qatar are staunch allies?” –

It’s a fair question and reminded me of a challenging op-ed article in the New York Times last Friday, Saudi Arabia, an Isis that has made it, by Kamel Daoud.*

He contrasted the behaviour and culture of Isis (black Daesh) with the state of Saudi Arabia (white Daesh). He began: “The former slits throats, kills, stones, cuts off hands, destroys humanity’s common heritage and despises archaeology, women and non-Muslims. The latter is better dressed and neater but does the same things.”

But the west wages war on one while shaking hands with the other and forgetting that the kingdom “relies on an alliance with a religious clergy that produces, legitimises, spreads, preaches and defends Wahhabism, the ultra-puritanical form of Islam that Daesh feeds on.”

“The west’s denial regarding Saudi Arabia is striking: it salutes the theocracy as its ally but pretends not to notice that it is the world’s chief ideological sponsor of Islamist culture.

The younger generations of radicals in the so-called Arab world were not born jihadists. They were suckled in the bosom of Fatwa Valley, a kind of Islamist Vatican with a vast industry that produces theologians, religious laws, books, and aggressive editorial policies and media campaigns.”

This is in the Guardian and the independent so those editors at the BBC MUST be fully aware of what is going on, but clearly do not wish to raise it as an issue.

Who is to blame for I am not going to speculate, but it might be that yet again that meaningless word ‘racism’ is too great a bogeyman for them to risk poking.

Maybe the left and media are overdoing the lies as a cry for help, a plea to be unshackled from the Saudi’s grip.

Huzzar! John Redwood stuffs Kirsty Wark on newsshite! Undeterred, it continues to air reports based on opinions, conjecture and blatant bias. I’ll have a party when it finally bites the dust.

Remember how we were informed in the first days after the referendum about the “collapse” in the FT 250 which presaged the “real” post-Brexit ruin of the economy. On BBC News at 10:00 tonight Huw and Kamal and a few well-chosen experts told the little people that the rise in the FT 100 meant nothing as against the rout of the pound since the FT 100 reflects the global rather than the domestic economy. What they . . . er . . forgot to tell us is that the FT 250 also rose today (by 0.6 per cent). In other words, the propects for the UK economy – as reflected in the FT 250, hitherto the BBC’s barometer of choice – might not be as bleak as the BBC wants us to believe. Were we in a war, such deliberate talking down of the economy would be deemed – correctly – as economic sabotage: much like Carney’s suspiciously precipitate cut in interest rates and further recourse to money printing.

Surely interest rates should rise if the b of e is worried about the pound.

They seem to be making decisions to deliberately harm GB as well as talking down every aspect of the economy just because they didn’t get their own way.

Remove these traitorous schemers and replace them with pro British people.

Haven’t posted for a while due to an unexpected illness, this also means I haven’t been following much of our beloved Beeb’s output either, well tonight I’ve just switched on Newsnight, oh lordy.

Caught the tail end of an interview with John Redwood answering some frankly bizarre questions about Brexit, needless to say it was all doom and gloom.

Next was yet another anti Trump piece……Don’t know what as at that point I changed channels.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with these people? They are absolutely obsessed and consumed with their hatred for both Brexit and Trump, it’s beyond parody now, it seems as though there’s been a group mental breakdown at broadcasting house.

I think if trump gets in, there’ll just be a giant tumbleweed rolling across the screen on newsshite! Fingers crossed!
In seriousness I enjoyed the comments of some of those Middletown folks in that report. They clearly are prepared to accept trump because they want change. Not the corrupt, globalist, open borders nut hilliary.

If Trump gets in I’m buying a 6 month supply of popcorn and I’m going to sit back and watch the BBC go into full meltdown, oh I can just picture it.

I don’t like Trump, but I absolutely detest Hilary. I openly admit the only reason I want Trump to win is just to see the reaction from the media, it’ll be like Brexit X10………In fact there’s more than a fair chance that if Trump wins the BBC will implode and disappear up it’s own arsehole in a puff of blue smoke! 🙂

I watched this and for once nearly felt sorry for Kirsty again way out of her depth. Badly prepared and did it show. Inept and useless. Redwood merely swatted her away with what seemed mild amusement at her crass questions.
      Newsnight fails again.
The segment on Youngstown Ohio and it’s voters was actually interesting. The droid almost got it. Not quite but almost. The voters like Trump because he just may be the man to do what America needs.

I agree, it was an interesting piece, and Gabriel Gatehouse seems to have learned something.

Working class Americans do not support Trump because they are bigots, they support him because the status quo has failed them.

Why have the steel mills closed in Youngstown? Why is American industry hollowed out? Why are American workers getting poorer, and Wall Street types getting richer?

Did it just happen, like the islamization and ethnic cleansing of East London “just happened”? Or did the leftist establishment follow policies for their own benefit at the expense of the working class?

Any average American who votes for Hillary Clinton is voting for the same globalist, crony capitalism which was the benchmark of the Clinton, Bush and Obama years. Nothing will change for the better, things will continue to get slowly worse. Why should this be? There is no reason why it has to be this way.

Trump is hated by the Republican establishment because he trounced it in the primaries. If it was up to the RINO elite, this election would be Bush v Clinton (Jeb v Hillary that is). How can that happen in a free republic? Trump’s answer is that it isn’t a free republic, and the deck is stacked against the ordinary man.

Voting Trump may not solve everything, but voting for Hillary is guaranteed to solve nothing, and hasten the decline of the average American worker.

That’s why I think Trump will win.
