“”Government has ‘no plans’ for royal yacht for Brexit trade talks””

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37622924

Another non-story diminishing Brexit from the BBC.

I’m sure there’s more to come.

I was under the impression that the plans were for Global trade with less isolationist nations after Brexit. The idiots at the BBC must think that Britannia could be restored in time for the start of Brexit talks on 31st March 2017.
But I would suggest “Headquarters British Forces Germany, Bielefeld” This would be ideal because as the talks end in 2019, so does the presence of British Forces in Germany, and then the Headquarters could then be closed on the day before Britain gains its independence.
So 2020 would be the first full year of Britain being a fully independent sovereign nation, again, and the first full year since 1943, that British forces are not present on German soil.

Saw an awesome advert today for the new planet earth II, narrated by Attenborough.

At the current rate I do wander whether the new series will feature the ‘racist little englander’ species that the BBC are trying so hard to find, but like the right wing back lash remain so elusive. Wish I could say the same for islamic extremism.

That said it shouldn’t be too hard for the “world’s most trusted broadcaster” as last time I checked there were over 17,000,000 inhabiting the UK. That was the 23rd of June so a few months ago now.

TBT, 17 Million inhabiting the UK – So so many. Clearly the BBC do not need to use a stick to overturn a stone in the garden to find one.

The BBC seldom seems to ask why, if Obama has presided over a gilded Presidency and Administration, things Merca seem pretty much in the shitter at home and abroad.

“Labour renews pressure for Brexit vote with 170 questions”
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37622928m
    My questions would be…
How on earth do nations with far better economies survive outside the EU?
How did we manage before we joined?
How do other nations without free movement of people trade with the EU?

Not enough space for reasons of editorial integrity. 173 would be ridiculous for the BBC to have to pose. 170 is just right. Or left.

BBC Radio 4, ‘Today’ ending 0741 this morning: Sara Montague explains that they understand that Boris Johnson is trying to persuade the Americans to join with the UK in confronting Russia’s bombing in Syria. But, so Sarah tells us, no decision will be made until, “….the new President, Hilary Clinton, takes up office….”. Well folks, with a breathless disregard for honesty the BBC steams on with its outright bias and disinformation. Long may the BBC continue to think itself, ‘The Worlds Most Trusted Broadcaster’. Methinks, the listener/viewer knows otherwise and this blatant disregard of the facts demonstrates exactly that.

The BBC are still doing their promotional work for the Apple iPhone, I see.

Yesterday, the corporation made as much as possible of the abandonment of the Galaxy Note 7 by Samsung, even treating the matter as the lead item in news bulletins during the morning. I’m not sure that this was the most important item of world news, but there we are.

But Rory Cellan-Jones’s report on the BBC 10 o’clock news took it to another level. He interviewed someone with a Note 7 in front of an advertising hoarding featuring the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. A later shot appeared to have been taken at a show with “S7 Edge” in clear view.

The S7 and S7 Edge are not affected by the battery problems of the Note 7 and have not been recalled. They are, however, direct competitors to the Apple iPhone 7 and are regarded by many as better phones; hence the attempt by Cellan-Jones to associate the S7 and S7 Edge with the Note 7 problems. I do not believe that this was accidental, but if it was, he should be dismissed.

Considering that the most notable thing about the launch of the iPhone 7 was the deletion of a feature (the headphone jack), it will clearly need heavy promotion, and the BBC is evidently happy to oblige.

Samsung have handled this poorly, from QC to PR. However, they have responded now. So the BBC has decided to put the boot into a commercial organisation as only they can. Bet Samsung wish they were uniquely funded to weather self inflicted cock ups like the BBC does so easily, so often.

The EU referendum camapaign may officially be over but the perenial Brussels supporters at BBC TV News keep pumping out the Remain propaganda.

From petrol prices to minimum wage calculation – anything bad is the fault of Brexit. I’m only surprised they don’t try to blame the rise in people resorting to the NHS for allergy treatment on Brexit.

Never mind the judicious use of the words ‘could’ and ‘might’ that inevitably pepper the BBC doomladen reports – the BBC’s narrative here is quite clear. The BBC just do not want Britain to leave the EU.

Labour’s call for our negotiators to show their hand prior to the start of dicussions is given full weight of BBC reporting – despite one of their own political journos candidly admitting Labour stategy here is a ‘gimmick’

Financial advice? I think the BBC would consider that “distasteful”.

The only financial advice the BBC seems to want to give is this…

services that are state provided should be free at the point of delivery and prioritised according to the state since its the states money to spend as it sees fit. (Strangely enough, this model also applies to the BBC itself).

The money to pay for all this comes from an orchard of magic money trees, so no need to consider the interests of feelings of anyone else like the mythical beings whose name should only be whispered the fabled “taxpayers” or “licence payers” who we talk to once every few years to help them feel included.

The only risk to the orchard is the mysterious “brexit blight” which threatens the health of the magical money trees, so we do need some strong counter measures… “Remoan” or failing that “globalise” to protect our access to the magic money trees.

Yes, they do give financial advice, they do it constantly.

They advised the country to join the ERM, ok so they got it wrong but anyone make a mistake.

They advised the country to join the Euro, OK so that would have been a disaster too.

They did say that shares would collapse if we voted Brexit, so anyone who followed that advice would be worse off.

They said the EU would make UK wealthier. Sadly, all countries in the EU are financially worse off than European countries outside the EU, (Norway, Iceland, Switzerland).

They do give financial advice, but it is based on the Guardian/BBC day view of the world, which is so often tosh.

BBC R4 leads with the same three headlines this morning as it did yesterday, and probably will tomorrow. Brexit is bad, Trump said something horrible, and won’t anyone do something about Aleppo.

Dominic O’Connell interviews somebody with the same views as himself as usual, to claim that the £ has recovered a bit only because the markets think Brexit might not happen.

    Yawn.

The Calais conversation that left Lily Allen in tears
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-37607774

Is this a new low even for the BBC? The usual Geldolf pop star clone dictating to everyone else about how bad immigrants lives are compared to Joe Public (but not compared to themselves of course).

Whilst Lily Allen speaks to a 13 years at The Jungle…
Allen tells him: “At three points in your life [the UK] has put you in danger. We bombed your country, put you in the hands of the Taliban, and now put you in danger of risking your life to get into our country.”
Then, breaking into tears, she adds: “I apologise on behalf of my country, for what we’ve put you through.”
He quietly responds: “It’s all right.”

Well Tabs would also like to apoligise when the young boy comes to the UK. We are sorry you only have a 3 bedroom house for free, we are sorry the nearest Mosque is 1/2 mile walk away, we are sorry that we delayed your extended family paperwork to join you in the future, we are sorry we haven’t got Sharia in place yet, we are sorry that UK woman don’t cover their faces etc.

The article ends with her saying “No-one’s chosen to be here.” – a comment would be superfluous.

Tearful Lily Allen apologising on behalf of the UK:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/video_and_audio/headlines/37628854

The wise sage, and politically knowledgeable Lilly explains to an afghan lad: “the English have put you in the hands of danger, bombed your country and put you in the hands of the Taliban.”

Oh dear, what on earth do they teach Guardian lovies?

Lilly, the UK removed the Taliban from Afghanistan. The lad was driven out of his country, as he says in the interview, because he would have been killed by the Taliban, ie. not by the UK. He told her that, her beliefs wouldn’t let her hear him.

Just as a heads up Lilly, the population of Afghanistan is over 30 million, just how many would you like to invite to our evil country?

Would it not be better, and I am just putting this out there, to tell Muslims to stop butchering innocent people so children can remain in their homes? And then to support our troops in battling the Taliban on behalf of these children?
