    More BBC anti-Trump drivel.

Dozens of reports….surfaced on social media?? And this is reliable??
Even if true, dozens over a few days out of a population of 300 million amounts to nothing.

Hate crimes on the BBC, Yes: There are lots of Clinton supporters on the BBC, who hate losing so much that they have turned to showing hatred of the winners. So I do not mind if they arrest them for ”Hate Crimes” against Donald Trump.

But Trump supporters are far too happy to bother hating Clinton and her supporters, anymore. So hate crimes by Trump supporters are now in the past, unless they hate being violently attacked by disappointed Clinton supporters.

Agreed. I’m am nigh sick of these democracy deniers so beloved of the left being given so much air time by the BBC.

There’s nothing the left hate more than the ‘little people’ being able to vote against their superiors. I’m sure they would justify giving themselves two votes each to sway any election. Thereby ensuring the ‘correct result’ is always obtained.

After all, what’s the point in being a member of the master race if you don’t have absolute power to control the lives of your inferiors?

      Fascists.

Oh the things which slip out between the cracks of the BBC interviews, and this one might really surprise you that it hasn’t been heard in the UK before, even on a site like this.

The BBC position appears to be that the Obamessiah is perfect, and that if only it was possible for him to have stood for president for a third term he would have easily won.

This is of course not the truth.

Obamas record in government has been far from perfect, and was a factor in Clintons defeat, you would never know this living in BBC lala land because they’ve never told you something they didn’t want to be true.

For the majority of people living in ignorance they have a desperately distorted picture of what’s going on in the world.

Just been exposed to a repeat of Radio 4’s ‘comedy’ half hour of the ‘The Now show’ with Steve Cnt, etc. The canned laughter was turned up to 11 with ‘jokes’ about death threats to ‘lying’ Trump. What would have been said if the shoe was on the other foot and the real lying Killary had won?

They were beyond parody, listen at 11m.45s:-

I just don’t ‘get’ all the weeping wailing and whingeing over Donald Trump becoming President. Those interviewed are worried/concerned/fearful of the future – um, unless I’m wrong but isn’t this just a FOUR year (possibly eight) year term we’re talking about ? to listen to those whining its a lifetime sentence ! Dear God, a 4 year term ain’t that long – the last year is spent campaigning for a second term anyway, so if they don’t like it vote him out next time. Where IS the intelligence of these people ? but then, seeing those interviewed, most are the under 30s again who just like waving cardboard placards. Similar to those who sobbed at the thought of having to get a Visa for their next Spanish holiday after Brexit. Pathetic.

They didn’t get their own way. They don’t like that because they are ‘good’ and their opponents are ‘bad’.

I think the most important step to political maturity is to acknowledge that ultimately everybody wants fundamentally the same things – a nice country with good schools and hospitals. They just disagree on how to do it.

The culture wars have added a toxic element to the political mix – e.g. if you’re against open borders you’re a laycist. No attempt is made to listen to the oppositions reasoning.

When you start a boycott you need to write to the CEO and explain what you’re doing. Even if they dismiss you as a crank, if they have a dip in sales it will be in the back of their minds.

    • StewGreen says:

The NGO organising the boycott trade with the Daily Mail campaign is effectively a BLACKMAILER
“say what we want you to say, otherwise there will be financial consequences”

      – Offence that the Daily Mail may cause is trumped by their right to free speech (with the only limit being incitement to violent action)

There are sound reasons why people should not indulge in consumers boycotts, but just buy the best product.
#1 It hurt the ordinary worker, it is not his fault if a director of the crisp factory says something someone else finds “homophobic” or something.
#2 Public bodies should not indulge in such virtue signalling, as it leads to them getting a worse deal for the PUBLIC money they spend. eg they shouldn’t be boycotting contractors for spurious reasons.
#3 It is anti-Diversity of thought and free speech. Ideally newspapers should give their own honestly help opinions not self censor.
AS I said it is blackmail.

BTW Lego have not started a boycott against the DM, they have simply not continued the contract.
The NGO is twisting that to claim credit ..and blackmail further companies
Ideally the courts should intervene and say the NGO is interfering with the fundamental right to free speech.

The reason why Lego would do biz with the DM is not to support the DM’s headlines but because the DM is the UK’s largest selling newspaper.
It should be one of the first places for government ads.
Secondly the BBC is DISCRIMINATING by class by failing to place its job ads there and only in the Guardian instead. How can the BBC workforce represent the UK’s demographic if job ads are only in a minority cult newspaper ?

Why do I punish myself by listening to foul garbage like The Now Show? I’ve had man flu and was feeling groggy and sorry for myself, lying on the couch. I needed cheering up! This is billed as a comedy, but as we all know, BBC “comedies” are little more than ultra left wing bile and propaganda This edition was excruciating.
Some gormless, antipodean bint had a pop at both George W Bush and The Donald with this quip. “Bush is pleased with Trump’s election success because he’s no longer the biggest piece of excrement that has occupied the Oval Office”. Oscar Wilde it isn’t! Later, this same charming “lady” referred to Nigel Farage as “a wanker.” Naturally this remark received the usual hoots and whoops of approbation.
The BBC used to give us people like Morcambe and Wise, Dick Emery, Dave Allen etc. Some really talented, funny men. Now they seem to trawl through sewers to dredge up the filthiest and foulest unfunny, untalented dross that you could imagine.
The last time I had this much fun lying on a couch the dentist was ripping out my wisdom teeth.

    Hi
I’ve complained to the BBC about a false story they published about one of the terrorist attacks in Paris. I went through the complaints procedure to the BBC Trust, but they ignored the evidence that the story was fake. It’s important because there is independent video evidence to prove that the story was fake. And the corollary is that the actors in that faked report were the same ones who allegedly were in the other Paris attacks. I don’t have time and resources to take it further, but maybe you and your readers would be interested? If so I can send you the documentation. I think the Trustees and their adviser have laid themselves open to charges of misconduct in public office.

      Welcome, Mark,

The topic of BBC complaints is the stuff of legend, and nightmares. And, sadly, set to get worse as the reins of oversight pass from colleagues in the Trust to ex-colleagues in OFCOM. It is cosy that way.

Ignoring evidence for the BBC is second nature. As is fabricating it under the dubious excuse of a ‘source’ (clearly protected in anonymity by the FOI exemption they trot out, which is essentially a licence to fiction sold as fact) or what ‘some are saying’ (ditto) or muttering about ‘truthiness’ or ‘a representation of the kind of thing X may have said, or done’, but remains shy on actual proof.

This is how the BBC is so renowned for transparency and consequent trust.

If shared here by the site Eds I will be fascinated, but don’t get your hopes up on charges.

At least not yet. But the tide is turning, and as STASI operatives discovered post fall of the wall, their activities in the past can still catch up with them.

So it is always worth pursuing, and sharing.

      • MarkR says:

Thanks Guest Who. The Trust said they would use the BBC’s special exemption under the FOIA so really the only sanctions for a false story is Fraud,

        Fraud by false representation

(1)A person is in breach of this section if he—

(a)dishonestly makes a false representation, and

        (b)intends, by making the representation—

(i)to make a gain for himself or another, or

(ii)to cause loss to another or to expose another to a risk of loss.

        (2)A representation is false if—

(a)it is untrue or misleading, and

(b)the person making it knows that it is, or might be, untrue or misleading

So false claims of climate change would fall under that heading.

        Or,

Misconduct in public office (such as seriously misleading the public with a false news report) where a public officer acting as such wilfully neglects to perform his duty and/or wilfully misconducts himself to such a degree as to amount to an abuse of the public’s trust in the office holder without reasonable excuse or justification.

In the end, I think that legal sanction is the only way with the BBC.

          Legal takes lotsa munny.

The BBC has bottomless pot, for now.

And, as we have discovered of late, the judiciary can ‘interpret’ the law like the BBC interprets events. Lord to Lord, nudge, nudge, wink wink.

There are a few, so very few MPs with some spine and integrity, so if your evidence is solid, they may be a better route.

Or the media. Not my champions of choice, but the DM may be a bit piqued with multi-million £ BBC non employee on the roster Gary at the moment for using his position to mess with their less unique income stream.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-34820093

Almost without exception video of terrorist attacks is never available, and the authorities go out of their way to suppress them. Usually there is only indistinct amateur video that doesn’t in fact show any terrorist act. The Daily Mail carelessly “bought” the Casa Nostra security camera tapes without realising they were evidence of fakery. Amongst other things you’ll notice the bar at the back of the restaurant has been pixelated, evidence of security service interference. I won’t list my objections to the video yet, but welcome others opinions.

Fascinating times we live in DS. Can I suggest that we are witnessing the death of the post-68 Liberal-Left? If so, then good riddance.

I see from photos in the story you linked to, that London Breitbart editor and former UKIP leadership candidate Raheem Kassam now finds himself in the lobby of Trump Tower with Nigel Farage. I wonder if former Breitbart boss Steve Bannon and Milo Yiannopoulos are waiting in the penthouse suite ready to escort them in to see Daddy? I would like to think so.

The level of vituperation directed by the BBC and the liberal media at Mr Trump is not something I have ever seen before directed at a major world leader. HIGNFY was particularly appalling. A complete panel vying with each other to spit out abuse at the man who will be the next President of our most important ally. It went far beyond criticism into sheer unpleasant and embarrassing filth.
I feel we should somehow make Mr Trump aware of this show and the others so that he may form his own conclusion as to the attitude of our media and our elites. Reported today in the Daily Mail is a comment by the Scottish Tory Ruth Davidson about Mr Trump that is simply unrepeatable so vile is it. It would be to ours and his advantage if Mr Trump will address his words to us directly and ignore the media and the establishment.
Mr Trump would be less than human were he not to take real offence at all this and it will inevitably colour his views to our detriment. But then stupidity is a recurrent feature of our ruling class.
This is not how a ruling class should behave. It lacks wisdom and foresight.
Having travelled extensively in the US at one time I know that the office of President is something they do not take kindly to being insulted by foreigners. The man and the office are one in a sense.
The BBC is out of any reasonable control now and starting to be a menace to the future and good order of the country. For that reason it needs abolition as any reform now will be useless.

After several disobliging remarks about Donald Trump by members of the Conservative government, during a time when they thought there was no chance he would become president, it is hardly necessary to ask why Theresa May should have been only the 11th in the order of world leaders he spoke to. Again, the stupidity of some politicians knows no bounds.

Le Pen (like Farage and Wilders) is a formidable interviewee. There was no way Maitlis was going to best her, just as Marr will fail to do tomorrow.

What a remarkable politician Marine Le Pen is. She cannot be faulted on anything she says here. However, the attitude of Maitlis was appalling. She maintained a gloomy demeanour throughout, with none of her usual pleasantness and smiles when her interviewee meets with her approval – even putting on a ‘frightened’ face at one stage. This is bias at its most raw, and it is exactly what we have seen in other BBC news people on, for example, the election of Donald Trump.

Recorded a new Aussie TV drama on BBC4, set in Bondi I was hoping for plenty of tanned nubile blonde busty surfers, but instead we get a surly female cop, gay murder, Muslim immigrants, (one escaping because he was thrashed in Iran for sodomy…) and references to transgenderism.

Our feminist cop is convinced the perpetrator is a boxing middle aged white alpha male, but I’ll never find out, I won’t be watching > recording deleted. More BBC bollox.

Geof, I have lived in Australia since 2002, and the TV here has become very politically correct. All the channels were furiously anti-Trump. I thought they were going to play the funeral march when the shock victory news came through. The state-funded ABC (like BBC) and the ethnic minority orientated SBS have always been lefty, but the commercial channels have been catching them up in the last few years. My guess is that the turkey – I mean drama – you watched is an SBS job. They have the occasional good programme, but if they were honest they’d be called the anti-white-Anglo channel.

If you want tanned surfers, I’d suggest DVDs of old Baywatch or Hawaii Five-O episodes! At least they probably didn’t feature much PC brainwashing in those days.

      Geoff.

I too was very disappointed with this offering, having spent many happy hours watching BBC4 Saturday night foreign crime dramas recently.
Particularly grating was the presence of the burly (white and old, of course) senior cop who bullied the female lead cop and even seemed to relish the past where “poofter bashing” was a widespread sport on the Sydney beaches. Virtually every sentence from him contained the insult “prick”. I had a strange feeling after a while that perhaps this was meant to be a parody of a man who has just been elected US president.
It also amazes me how a very small woman cop, probably less than 7 stone is able to take down the 15 stone baddies with a flick of the wrist. Superior intellect no doubt as she is female.
Another fascinating scene showed the anguished mother of the murdered muslim man, unable to accept that there had to be a post-mortem. The mother was shown distressed and inconsolable by the insensitive and racist application of the country’s laws.

Apologies to anyone who might want to watch for not giving a spoiler alert.

The bBC, its leftwing agenda and how it lies in which to promote that agenda:
Indian tea workers’ conditions remain very poor
If you are drinking tea, I suggest you put down the cup right now because I’ve got bad news for you. You can forget those pretty pictures of happy women in saris on rolling green hillsides that you see on some tea packets. That is not the reality for most tea workers.
Last year, I was part of a BBC team that revealed the appalling conditions for workers and their families on estates that grow tea for some of the biggest brands in the world…So what can be done? Here is what campaigners such as Anirudha Nagar want to see happen.
First, pick up that cup of tea again. The answer is not to stop drinking tea.
But campaigners argue that tea is just too cheap. They say the big brands need to pay fairer prices to plantations so they in turn can afford decent wages and conditions for workers…And campaigners believe tea lovers can help too, by using their voice and influence to keep companies honest.
They want consumers to tell tea companies that conditions of the workers matter to them, and to challenge their favourite brand about what it is doing to ensure that its employees have decent homes and enough money to buy nutritious food.
And once you’ve sent that text, email or tweet, put the kettle back on. You will have earned yourself a nice cup of tea.

Here is what the bBC isn’t telling you about who exports tea into the UK:
    1)Kenya: $160.2 million (down -24.7%)
    2)India: $61.6 million (down -17.7%)
    3)Singapore: $21.8 million (up 3388.6%)
    4)Poland: $19.2 million (up 9.6%)
    5)Malawi: $17.2 million (down -35.7%)
    6)Netherlands: $14.7 million (up 470.5%)
    7)China: $12.9 million (down -36.5%)
    8)Sri Lanka: $12.6 million (up 18.9%)
    9)Germany: $11.4 million (up 73.2%)
    10)Tanzania: $9.6 million (down -19.5%)
    11)Switzerland: $9.2 million (up 76.7%)
    12)Zimbabwe: $8.5 million (up 133.5%)
    13)Rwanda: $7.5 million (up 225.4%)
    14)Ireland: $5.9 million (down -34.3%)
    15)Indonesia: $5.2 million (down -81.2%)

As for Indian tea exports, here is what the Indian tea industry website has to say:
The top export markets in volume terms for 2015-16 were Russian Federation (48.23 million kg), Iran (22.13 million kg) and Pakistan (19.37 million kg). In terms of value, the top export markets were Russian Federation (US$ 102.48 million), Iran (US$ 87.39 million) and UK (US$ 62.8 million).

So what happen if the UK did as the bBC demands? why others such as Kenya, Vietnam,Sri Lanka and China would take up the slack and India would lose its market to others. But hang on, isn’t India richer than the UK, what with a bigger military , a Space mission, why the Uk even gives them millions in Aid, yet to the CS at the bbC, its up to the British to help India sort out its problems.

Here we go. The BBC blaming Clinton’s defeat on James Comey, FBI director.

Oddly the facts don’t help the BBC, not that there are many in the piece on the web.

    1. Clintons ratings were at same level going into the election as they were before Comey said he was looking at her emails again. So it didnt affect her standing.
    2. What was Comey to do? Wait until she won the election and then say ‘oh by the way folks she is still under investigation for the emails. Didn’t think I should mention it before you voted. Sorry, I feel such a fool hiding stuff from you as the BBC wants.
    3. In relation to the emails, if Clinton hadn’t lied, disobeyed a subpoena, destroyed evidence, had she not had her staff plead the Fifth amendments, (like Mobsters form the 1950s, tobacco company owners from the 1960s), had she not avoided questioning for as long as she could, until threatened with jail, then she wouldn’t have been in the mess and put the honourable director of the FBI in a dreadful dilemma.
    4. Had she not chosen to disobey federal laws in the first place then none of this would have happened.

When will the BBC actually be honest with its viewers/listeners? They will throw mud until they have discredited the most remarkable democratic victory I have seen.

BBC Radio 4 News on Kurds destroying ‘Sunni Arab’ villages. Surely the BBC means the villages where Sunni Muslims live, why is this term used? It seems the Thought Speak continues unabated and unchallenged.
Meanwhile Andrew Marr gives Corbyn another easy ride.

beware of the above link. I’ve no idea if it is bona fide but when I tried to access it, my antivirus threw up more warnings than the BBC gave on a Trump presidency.

The beeb is still capable of a gem as is the planet earth 2 programme, the iguana and snake’s battle for survival was amazing. The plight of the land crab’s survival due to an introduced species of ant that stowed away on boats is disturbing, there population is down by 80%. I suggest a solution, how about a temporary introduction of anteaters?

I read yesterday that evil guardian bitch who tweeted about assassinating Trump has been sacked

    Anyone confirm this?

Not very likely No.6, they rely on her copy sale. Of course, if she works for the BBC there’s no need to pay, but that would also make her sacking even less likely.

Marr getting his arse handed to him by Le Pen. I don’t think he even believes his own crap anymore. Where did this Russian bogeyman distraction come from?

Andrew Marr and the bbc seem to be getting very vexed about DT doubting the future of NATO

havent the remoaners been telling us for months that the EU has in fact been our great protector?

    Why the overnight flip flop?

Great line from Lord Dannant – which might lead to awkward questions on fitness to run an army, but no matter. Trump’s quite reasonable antipathy to European backsliding on NATO payments is greeted by our lately senior army man with: ‘It’s a huge opportunity for us to take the lead. We could step up to the plate and make a significant contribution….’
Excuse me My Lord, but how does that help the US squeeze defence debts from the rest of Europe? Perhaps, in his naïve soldierly way he thinks that if the US and the UK continue to pay the lion’s share this might shame the others into stumping up. Seems like a line from the Farron-Corbyn school of Hopeful Political Studies.
