    Spot the common factor ?
I am sure Al Beeb can .

Taffman, thinking along Beeboid lines, I think the common factor is that they have all suffered under the yoke of British colonialism. Turkey didn’t but it was defeated in the First World War by Britain, allowing that nasty secularist dictator Ataturk to take over and oppress the Religion of Peace, so we must bear the brunt of the blame for its problems also.

And into Africa that fault line continues in a westward proceeding arc from the Horn of Africa across to Grant’s Gambia. The common factor was there before the British and has returned … er, since .. er since

          … we left.

I wish it was “Grant’s Gambia ” ! If I had a dalasi ( about 2 p at current rates ) for every time a Gambian had said to me that they wish the British would come back and rule Gambia I would be a dalasi millionaire.

Maybe the BBC could do a documentary about the people in former British colonies who wish they had never had independence.

Maybe the BBC could compare the British Empire with the Russian, French, Belgian, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese etc.

Maybe the BBC could compare the British handover of powers with the other Empires.

            Don’t hold your breath !

Ah yes Taffman. It’s time for that yuletide game of count the number of countries into which Muslims have moved where there is NOT blood being spilled. I always allow people to go back in time over 1300 years and can pick any country on any continent. Just to make it fair I have a time restraint of 3 days.

Warning, Guardian and BBC staff often pout during the game, believing I am cheating in some way.

What with the Middle East, Russia, Europe, Africa etc., very little thought seems devoted to China. With a population of billions now freed up to expand, a standing army of millions and state of the art weaponry. They have weaponised the illegally occupied islands in the South China sea. They can’t seriously be concerned with at the possibility of invasion so what might they be thinking? America, Russia, China? The answer to most of the Worlds problems comes down to one thing – too many people and finite resources – China is well aware of this. We’ll have to wait and see.

The BBC were keen on the story ‘Russia hacked the US election’

Not heard a word in BBC headlines about this report:

    http://www.politico.com/story/2016/12/michigan-hillary-clinton-trump-232547

‘How Clinton lost Michigan — and blew the election’

‘Across battlegrounds, Democrats blame HQ’s stubborn commitment to a one-size-fits-all strategy’

“They believed they were more experienced, which they were. They believed they were smarter, which they weren’t,” said Donnie Fowler, who was consulting for the Democratic National Committee during the final months of the campaign. “They believed they had better information, which they didn’t.”

Hey BBC, don’t let actual analysis and reporting of facts get in the way of your leftist-inspired fake news scare headlines!

It is with great interest that I am following the disgraceful spat between Amir Khans wife, and his Muslim mother.

At least this is how it is being presented in the media – however, what is not being reported is the fact that an ‘ordinary’ Muslim can not only hold such appalling views, but that they are more than prepared to impose & inflict these views on other people.

It is an lesson in real time as to how Muslims in Britain are behaving towards others.

As an aside the totally hypocritical parents don’t seem to care that their son made his wealth by a sport which is forbidden in Islam – boxing

Islam forbids its adherents to hit someone in the face

It involves attacking the face, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If any one of you has a fight with his brother, let him avoid the face.”

(al-Bukhaari, 2560; Muslim, 2612). This game is based on hitting the face of one’s opponent with the strongest blow the boxer can muster

It was narrated from ‘Ubaadah ibn al-Saamit that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) decreed that there should be no harm or reciprocating of harm. Narrated by Ibn Maajah, 2340; Ahmad, 21714; this hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Imam Ahmad and al-Haakim, and as hasan by Ibn al-Salaah.

Boxing is absolutely Haram to Muslims, but it seems that like so many other inconveniences of the Muslim faith it can be ignored so long as there is money to be made.

The British Ambassador to the EU ( guess if he’s a Remoaner?) had been told about the 10 years scare by some of his chums. All this has to be taken with a huge pinch of salt yet the qualifications to these stories are never mentioned . The EU has been trying to scare and bully us ever since June 23. That’s why I find it cretinous that our Lib-Lab-SNP- pro EU Tory politicians want us to reveal a ‘ negotiating plan’.
If the EU want to punish us by moving from the current position of no tariffs , less regulation due to single market membership, to something worse, then let them. Meanwhile we can get on with negotiating bilateral trade deals with fast growing parts of the world economy and put a multilateral, complex trade deal with 27 slow growing countries ‘ to the back of the queue’.

This is hilarious. According to the BBC’s own story (see GWF’s link):
“In October, Sir Ivan, who conducted David Cameron’s negotiation over the UK’s relationship with the EU, advised ministers that the view of the 27 other countries was that a free trade agreement could take as long as a decade.”

So he’s a REALLY good negotiator, then!

Though in the eyes of the BBC and FCO, he’s brilliant because he can be relied in to keep it all going for our EUrophiles with minimal disruption to six course meals on gold plates in Brussels restaurants.

A three-second google search – which one always has to do these days with any information proffered by the BBC – reveals that Sir Ivan was from 2003-6 the Principal Private Secretary to Prime Minister Tony Blair at the height of Blair’s powers. He went on to be David Cameron’s Adviser for Europe and Global Issues (anyone else scent the whiff of Lingering Blair, there?).

Also…reading as I type…this just gets better… has been Private Secretary to one Kenneth Clarke. And took a break to be a high level banker at Citigroup, one of the biggest global corporations.

Hmmm. I wonder what makes him so keen on a frustrating Brexit…

An encouraging conversation in London last night with an old friend who was at university (Oxbridge) with husband and me. By any estimation our friend is one of the elite, works for a European bank and has had a spectacular City career for 30 years. He is an ardent europhile (note lower case) and is clever, cultured and kind.

He wanted to talk about Brexit. We were reluctant (a few too many Radio4-brainwashed friends) but he insisted. He and his wife had been reluctant Remainers, being well aware of which side their bread was buttered and having some residual respect for politicians. However, his considered opinion now was that quite a few people he knows of the same persuasion would vote Leave if faced with the abomination of a second referendum. Scales are very rapidly falling from eyes, in every part of the country.

Just a conversation, a finger in the wind, interesting enough to put out among friends here. Though, obviously, if I were a BBC “reporter” and it was the other way around, it would be Hard News and all systems go.

Bake Off’s Nadiya Hussain tells of racist abuse on train
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-38328198

Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain has spoken of the racial abuse she received after a passenger on a train refused to sit next to her.

The 31-year-old, who grew up in Luton, said the man had remarked: “I ain’t sitting near a Muslim” on a train service on Wednesday.

You couldn’t make this crap up. The BBC want to ram down our throats how great Islam is and the racist abuse Muslims get from Brexiteers but at the same time they totally ignore that Islam itself wants women and men separated. If the BBC had their way and the UK was an Islamic State then there would be separate carriages for men and women.

Suppose a woman in a burka had an accident. Suppose she needed artificial respiration. Would I volunteer and risk the wrath of the husband/brother/other? Have to admit, I’d think twice about getting involved.

Then on to Grammaticus and that extraordinary decision to cut the PM in mid-flow to focus on Sir Ivan the Terrible Negotiator (see posts above) standing behind her, before resuming his hatchet job. Bloody rude and disrespectful – and broadcast proudly to the nation.

Though, to be fair, Norman Smith’s summing up – so often a wipe of the murder weapon after the BBC’s crimes against impartiality – in this case actually put the ridiculous Sir Ivan story in context as a load of hot air. Still some way short of real journalism, though, as no mention of this alternative interpretation of the state of play:

I could not get into work yesterday (or day before) due to SOUTHERN Strike crippling the Trains in and out of London. A source of pride for the BBC to report ‘the latest’ news (and lets not forget ‘OPINION’). The Strike is ridiculous but then when your on the Train, you do wonder how much everybody already gets paid (working for BR) when we have the highest prices in the World as Train fares. Cheaper to fly anywhere in England (or Europe) than take the train, at any time.

This Summer RMT decided to have ‘gorilla’ action by making staff take ‘sickies’ which won’t get them the sack but cancels trains at short notice.. So Trains run late (due to lack of staff turning up to work). And that was just the ‘warm up’ routine by Jeremy Corbyn’s mob. Labour needs RMT union money (due to anybody in a sane mind, would leave – since Corbyn’s troops arrived and veered sharp left. Labour are in melt down electorally and yet the BBC still plugging away that ‘Labour’ is the only party you can trust (to get us (the EU despises peoples of the UK) political ‘favors’ in the already bankrupt EU stink tank). My question would be (to the BBC) at what point do we trust The Labour (or the Liberals) or even EU to fund your dreams? Just: GIVE ME ONE EXAMPLE OF PAST WORKS THAT WERE SUSTAINABLE?

And then I read today that RMT are so flush with cash that they are prepared to pay members (I like that word members) for BR Conductors to go on strike for £300 per week cash in hand. No doubt on top of a summer of ‘sickies’ and general disruption throughout the year. The BBC are forever trying to recreate that ‘winter of discontent’ to bring down Mays government. The BBC presumption that they (and the Unions) have enough power to do that, [
Corbyn’s union backers plan first general strike for 90 years and urge support for law breakers]
I don’t think so BBC! Times have changed, there is little public sympathy. Since BREXIT half the country is very well aware that the BBC employs too many conductors on a line that is going nowhere and is so biased it cannot even admit that it has a problem, (in answering TV license fee payers concerns), such as ‘where does the TV LICENSE money go’. Does it fund Anarchy in the UK and if so how is it part of the BBC Charter commitment to journalistic and creative ‘impartiality’?

says the BBC headline. Well up to a point, Lord Copper. The £ has dropped a cent against the $, but is up a quarter cent against the holidaymakers’ Euro. So maybe it is a story of $ strength rather than £ weakness.

Context : yesterday US put up interest rates 0.25%
Today Carney the clown said UK still needed to keep rates low.

Thus that sends a signal to put your spare $1m in a US account cos you’ll get more interest.
Thus pushes people to sell pounds and buy dollars. so £ drpps in value whilst $ rises.
(Carney had no reason to cut ours in the first place, as low interest rates fuel our out of control house prices, which will all end in tears one day)

Lies Douchebag and Arbeit Matt Frei’s constant whining and emoting of Aleppo seems to fly in the face of the fact that the city has been liberated from Islamic fighters and under the control of the country’s secular government? You’d think they had an agenda.

Yes think of her death, but also think of the 8,000/year Africans who die due to ‘pull factor’ people like Jo encouraged. Causing Africans to think that for a dream life, all theu have to do is get to Libya and get in a boat and the EU will taxi them to paradise.

Nice one amber Amber and your boss Treezer the Appeaser. Cracking down on extremism. Phony trumped up charges to placate the Muslims and destroy the far far right.
You may not like Paul Golding and Britain First but unlike the SWP and others they put their views before the public and stood for election
Now Paul Golding gets the Tommy Robinson treatment.
Separation of executive and judiciary my arse.
He was banned from entering a mosque, but did not enter one. However, the injunction banned him from encouraging others to do so.

‘James Weston, counsel for the Chief Constable of Bedfordshire Police who brought the committal application, said mosque members found the conduct provocative and unnerving and were concerned it could have escalated if prayers had not been over.
Judge Moloney said the breach was a “deliberate and cynical defiance” of the court’s order as well as an affront to the Muslim community not merely in Cardiff but throughout the country where Britain First might circulate its propaganda.’

Paul is now languishing in a cell in a prison dominated by Muslim gangs.
His life is on the line, thanks to this colossal stitch-up by the police and the courts. Our corrupt leftwing authorities have thrown Paul to the wolves in a bid to destroy him!”

Well the aim as with Robinson, is for him to be topped and thus removed.
… I mean what s the harm eh! he s a “waycist” after all.

Given today’s alarming precedent of Damien Grammaticus shamelessly overdubbing the Prime Minister with his very own voice-over (wot he or maybe the production intern made earlier out of sticky-backed plastic and square loo-rolls).
At least we now know what the BBC in co-operation with the Brussel sprout marketing board would like us to think Theresa May said – one ponders what next from our national broadcaster?
Lyse Doucet, Jeremy Bowen and Peter Snow donning toy plastic white helmets and jumping hand-in-hand into the sand box whilst chanting Ali Bongo’s Old Snackbar and proceeding to kick around the tonka toys exclaiming ‘this is what the Middle East conflict really looks like!’
Cut costs next time Sir Attenborough, just leave the expensive microphones at home for Planet Earth two-point-oh, back in the studio we have Chris Packham and the One Show hosts with a quick extreme rendition of Old MacDonald’s Farm… ‘with a woof woof here, and baa baa there…’

This lunchtime I attended a charity lunch which was naturally supported by a load of middle class anglo saxon white people, augmentd by a few of Indian heritage. Prior to eating, Grace was said.
We were then entertained by a primary school choir which consisted of 16 children, with two exceptions white, and they were singing Christian Christmas carols.

Should I report this to the authorites? Perhaps the bBBC would like to investigate this abominable example of racist, xenophobic, religiously intolerant, unrepresentative Britain. Presumably the school needs to be put in special measures, its Head suspended, and Britain’s finest need to interview us all to check whether there has been some Hate Crime or Paedo activity.

    Merry Christmas.

So a thousand Muslims demonstrating in the capital, and calling for a caliphate who will back their offensive Jihad against the West, and the BBC doesn’t even mention it at all.
However when a white man enters a Mosque, and engages in an argument it makes the BBCs headline news.

I’m not of the food industry, but just what cost proportion of a pink wafer is imported product, and what difference would a 15% price hike to that make in overall costs? You have sterling costs in UK business rates, UK distribution costs, UK manufacturing labour costs, UK energy bills etc etc.

I have the suspicion many businesses are using Brexit as a convenient hook to hang all their problems on. Companies doing well seem to be saying say no real effect, those struggling use Brexit as an excuse.

Post the headline news on the BBC of a white man who dared enter a Mosque they also omit this story too.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4036710/Blogger-52-posted-grossly-offensive-anti-Semitic-song-YouTube-denies-hate-crime-charge-brought-Jewish-charity-private-prosecution.html

A blogger accused of calling Auschwitz a ‘theme park’ and gas chambers a ‘hoax’ appeared in court today in what is believed to be the first private prosecution in the UK for anti-jewish racism.

Alison Chabloz, 52, is accused of posting a ‘grossly offensive’ video, called ‘Survivors’, online on June 8 this year.

The prosecution has been brought by the charity the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism, which said it decided to do so after the Crown Prosecution Service did not press charges.

‘The very reason this charity is making an example of this case is because of their disappointment that the Crown Prosecution Service have investigated 15,442 cases in recent times, but only 12 of those cases have involved anti-Semitic hatred.’

So who is this woman? Some form of extreme right wing extremist? Well if she was I’m sure that the BBC would have been all over the story, but no, it’s not the first time her extremist views have been reported in the media, including the time she caused a scene at the Edinburgh fringe, yet the BBC clearly think she has done nothing wrong.

    https://alisonchabloz.wordpress.com/

And it’s no surprise, as here she is advertising her appearance at Glossop LABOUR club !

    Spiked mentioned her

    http://www.spiked-online.com/newsite/article/dont-censor-anti-semites-argue-with-them/17325#.WFLSm-aLRO8

And she’s even had a mention in the Jewish Chronicle:

    https://www.thejc.com/comment/comment/corbyn-supporters-post-vile-racism-and-he-says-nothing-1.68295

But I cannot find anything about her antics on the BBC.

A trade deal is nothing to do with Brexit. Once we leave we can discuss a trade deal if it is necessary and it will take as long as it takes for the EU side to agree terms amongst themselves. No reason not to leave the EU next week.
