Just out of curiosity, to test how comprehensive the bBBC’s coverage is regarding Europe, I’ve just done a search on its website for news regarding Italy’s bank bonds crisis. There’s absolutely nothing after 2012.

Mind you, I’ve even spoken to Brit expats in Italy who know nothing about it, just goes to show what a bubble they live in as it’s a HUGE scandal that threatens the entire Italian banking system as well as the standard of living of many Italians. It’s worse than Britain’s PPI scandal. In a nutshell, Italians were persuaded by banks to invest in bank bonds and were told that it was a fail-safe investment, and many did so for their retirement savings pot. Well, the banks are failing and many had their savings/pension savings wiped out. The government wanted to bail out the banks but the EU stopped them. They wanted a bail-in, but instead of institutions bearing the losses, it would be VOTERS so that knocked that on the head. Italy’s banking system is teetering on the edge of a precipice, though it’s not the only EU country where that is the case. Even Deutsche Bank is in trouble.

This is just one aspect of the total meltdown mess that is the EU, but don’t expect to hear about it from the bBBC.

      Excellent post, Englishttc.

You could almost run a macabre book on who or what will be the first to bring down the rest of the EU. Italy, Greece, Spain & Portugal kicking off again, or Germany or France.

Commerzbank, also, has and is causing a few tense whistling moments, I understand. Fortunately (from the EU’s point of view) the Dutch had the good sense to rule themselves out early on.

OK, I know a lot of people will say this is pathetic, that I need to accept the democratic choice of millions of Britons, etc. but seriously! It is quite clear that when people voted against Jeremy Corbyn and UKIP yesterday, they had no idea that they were voting for local council seats at the same time. AND – a lot of people have come up to me and said that they have changed their minds, if they were just given another chance, they would vote differently this time. I am sure that Tony Bliar, Peter Mandleson, Nick Clogg and the Biased BBC would all agree. So, please, please can we have another local council election so that people can vote again now that we have seen the totally unexpected result of their votes? Please like and repost, let’s start another anti-democratic movement here!!

Saw this on Breitbart about Diane Abbott

I particularly liked the sentence which read

‘Since 2003, her total fees have amounted to £110,000, equivalent to 756 annual licence fees – or 3,600 police officers, according to her dodgy maths’

I personally have no problem with jokes about illness or anything, but having spent all week sneering and finger wagging about abuse on some obscure chat rooms or wherever online they let a prime time programme go out which mocks the Prime Minister for having a very serious condition?

They must realise that, especially when it comes to comedy, offending some people is unavoidable. The best comedy is often at someone else’s expense.

Clearly some hatred is more hateful than others. They should be free to abuse anyone they disapprove of, but anyone who fights back is an evil Nazi who must be silenced.

Imagine is someone mocked Diane Abbot for being brain-damaged after her interview? They would be hounded and thrown out of their jobs. Tim Peake – a Nobel prize winner – lost his post just for saying women can be more emotional than men!

Not the BBC but George Osborne’s Brussels Evening Standard

Our George steps out of political office and trips straight into a top job with a Russian oligarch and there’s n’ere a quibble from the Putin-watchers of the left-liberal media. Hey-ho.

I reckon now he no longer has his austerity-stained hands on the public sector hot pasties he can safely rejoin the elite approval club through the EU back door. It beats putting yourself through 10 rounds of Strictly.

The news is he has re-introduced the political cartoon to the pages of this daily metropolitan giveaway – we wouldn’t buy it. All the better to bash Theresa and Boris, you might think, the BBC is unlikely to comment.

Anyway Wednesday’s was hilarious – we have a Diane Abbott dressed as WPC Plod standing in front of a car crash and insisting “Move along, nothing to see here”

Now I don’t know whether something went awry in the print works but the drawing of our Diane was coloured decidedly pink.

Is it now considered somewhat chancey for the liberal press to charicature black people?

I couldn’t help but notice that the substantial figure of the – election pending – soon-to-be-erstwhile (one way or the other) Shadow Home Secretary was drawn just as wide as she was tall.

So, fatness still just about caricaturable, then?

    I guess we’ve all gone post-Hebdo

No wonder the political cartoon is on the way out.

Turnout is worryingly low, apparently, for the French Presidential run-off. No wonder the BBC was emphasising two weeks ago that their poster boy, Macron, was one vote away from the Presidency.

      Good luck, mate!

Low turnout may play into Le Pen’s hands. The BBC may be getting a little nervous already. There is no reference to the French Election on their Homepage.

Politically Correct or Liberal Fascism at British Universities started with riots against those in Psychology departments who used the scientific method to analyse Human intelligence. At Oxford, the Mensa test examiner said that only one in six students pass the test, while I remember there was talk of student riots in London against Professor Hans Eysenck.

I would never have thought that Astronomy departments would come under the same treatment from these Arts and Humanity thugs. At the moment its just banning Astronomers from “Free Speech” at Climate conferences on University property. But I have also heard that these unqualified Environ-Mental morons retrain scientifically qualified BBC staff, such as Paul Hudson, who seems to be the most relevantly qualified causational Climate Scientist employed by the BBC.

But for the best book for the collection of research material for the scientific analysis of Human Intelligence is “The Bell Curve” by Richard Herrnstein and Charles Murray.

It will give you an idea why BBC people do not like Jews, Chinese, Japanese and Koreans. But also why BBC people have an unhealthy obsessive liking for people of African descent, who we could agree with Lord Hall, are on average, more intelligent than the middle-class lefties employed by the BBC.

Stephen Colbert investigated over ‘homophobic’ anti-Trump joke
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39828336

“Others noted that Mr Trump had himself been recorded using obscene language, including bragging to TV host Billy Bush about trying to have sex with a married woman.”

Of course the BBC fails to point out the ‘yuge’ difference between something said in private, secretly recorded and broadcast to the world out of spite purely to damage someone’s reputation and a scripted, rehearsed monologue aired to the world by a media giant purely in an attempt to damage that same persons reputation.

What Trump said in that part of the tape was that he’d found the lady attractive, tried to start a relationship, even bought her some furniture, but then she told him she wasn’t interested and he dropped the idea. Trump’s conclusion was that he’d misread the signals and he’d been an idiot to waste his time. He didn’t grab her and he didn’t brag about it. It was a story he told against himself – in a private conversation that was later leaked.

It’s infuriating that the BBC (and the rest of the MSM, to be fair) insist on describing Macron as a ‘centrist’ candidate in the French elections. The word is used to cast a benign light on someone, bestowing a respectability and sense of moderation. Contrast and compare with Le Pen’s ‘far Right’ tag.

The facts, however, are different. Le Pen is a Left wing nationalist with economic policies that would have been warmly embraced by the post-War Labour party. Hollande, meanwhile, is a globalist elitist, who served in the most unpopular (one might also say most unsuccessful) socialist government France has had in living memory. At the very least he should be described as ‘the pro-EU, pro-immigration socialist candidate’ candidate’.

I suspect that most of my CDs by a named individual are by females and nearly all of them will have written their own songs.

Of the CDs by named groups most will be by men, a lot of them performing other men’s songs.

Perhaps young women like retiring to their bedrooms and crying to their guitars and young men like meeting up with their mates and making lots of noise?

In the days before the enlightenment most records were bought by young women and, knowing no better, they ‘fancied’ young men, so young men sold more records.

As an un-enlightened, fascist, racist xenophobe of the non-sex and certainly of no gender, oh, and potential rapist, I find myself drawn to the female voice, hence the love of female singer-songwriters. Especially if they stick to singing and keep their foul-mouthed rants to themselves.

The common factor of all the CDs that I have is that they are ‘good’ – I don’t know how that is defined. I think that some of it is that the performers have put their efforts into their music making rather than ‘identity’ campaigning.

My music collection consists of a vast majority of male groups & singer songwriters. Barring McCartney, most of them were/are not cute enough to “fancy”. It’s strictly a musical interest. There really aren’t many women who both compose & perform a consistently high quality of music over many years. IMO. If I subtracted the male writers from my CD collection. I might have a couple of dozen left out of hundreds. Of course I’m not much in to ‘pop’ music but Rock, jazz, blues, folk & classical works.

    BBC Radio Lincolnshire 3rd headline
    “racially aggravated offence in Grantham”
=’bicycle Kids shout at woman in car’
You have to be sharp to spot that the event was TWO MONTHS ago.
    Police page :
“The victim, who was wearing Muslim dress, was driving along Inner Street, towards McDonalds, with her children in the car, around 1.50pm on 4th March.

The driver’s windows were down and as she passed a group of teenagers, she was subjected to verbal abuse of a racial nature.”
And included a pathetic CCTV photo of kids in street 4 girls and 2 bicycle youths
    The only NEW news is
“Update as of 5pm, 6 May

To clarify it is the two young men on bicycles that we are looking to speak with to assist our inquiries”
= ‘basically there is no new news’

May I suggest that Radio Lincs and the police have strange priorities in their USE of PUBLICLY FUNDED resources.
that could be better used to prevent the daily stabbing of black kids in London by other black kids.

There was a stink about Leics Police about a year ago, they only investigated burglaries on house numbers that had an even number if I remember correctly. People’s hurt feelings are more important than your property.

On Sunday morning BBC news says “up to 4600 migrants will be rescued in the 48 hours” they are counting. Since when is it obligatory to rescue “migrants”. Interesting how these people have seamlessly morphed from “refugees” into “migrants”. Maybe some organisation is paying the fares……

“Maybe some organisation is paying the fares……”

Exactly! I read in 2015 that the fare across the Med was about $3500, but if their livelihoods had been devastated by war or, as the Beeb kept telling us, they were migrants escaping “grinding poverty”, where do they get the money? FFS, in 2015 I was so skint that I couldn’t have cobbled together that much in cash, and I was in a country with far higher wages.

I think that what is happening that organised crime is getting them to work for their fare. Once they’re in Italy or Greece they have to earn enough for their next stage of the journey to Berlin, Stockholm or Calais. I’ve seen myself the sheer level of slavery across the Channel, especially in Italy, with organised begging, illegal street vendors, prostitution, agriculture and various crappy jobs. Beeb informed us that in 2015 the criminals were going to earn about £450 million in boat fares, but that is nothing compared to the slavery.

What I would like to know, and this has been evaded by the media, is who are these criminals who are earning untold millions, and shouldn’t we all be worried about ruthless criminals earning vast fortunes? Are they terrorists?

Ettc, it is said that since Merkel threw open the doors of Europe, trafficking people into Europe grew into a £4bn+ industry within months.

Probably the EU’s only successful growth industry ever, since 1992, but people die as a result.

Thanks for that Up2snuff – that’s an astounding figure of £4bn, but I’m not surprised. Anyone with just a few brain cells can work out that a cottage industry of a few fishermen who would ferry illegal immigrants to Lampedusa could only mushroom with large scale organisation. It’s the criminals that I despise and I feel sorry for the poor sods who risk that crossing. I’ve read in the MSM that they’re encouraged to come as the traffickers work in the migrants’ countries, encouraging them to make the journey with a load of false promises about an idyllic life in northern Europe. Even in a bBBC article about the migrants’ expectations just over a year ago, one who was intending to make the journey said that in Britain “they (the state) give you a large house, a car and lots of money”.

Englishtothecore, I was talking recently with the harbour master in my town. He agreed with me that in theory, any small fishing boat could cross the English channel about 5 times in a day. It would be no trouble for them to take four illegal immigrants on each trip from small unwatched harbours, so 20 people a day. If each pays, say, £500 a time that’s £10,000 a day less fuel costs. If they did that for just three days they would be making more than most people make in Britain in a year.

    Desperately speaking Susan
An all too familiar phenomenon I like to call Metrological Adjective Inflation is once again presented to the BBC tv viewer this morning – on this occasion by our b-list second string reserve weather marm Louise Lear.
“We’re getting to the point where we’re DESPERATE for some rain”
Really? The Sahara Desert may be desperate for rain. The UK is just having a relatively dry spell. My sense is that BBC weather metrol-tainment presenters are rather pleased to have something to get us excited about. And the ideologues of Global Warming desperately hanker for at least a heat wave but ideally a draught – to make their dreams come true.
Trouble is… our Louise has to forecast another frost… in May.
The lanky sofa eunuch enquires – all casual like – of our Louise “How unusual is it to have temperatures of 18 to 19 degrees during the day to freezing at night?”
Our Louise – just up off the subs bench – confirms what we laymen all know in our heart of hearts that Britain is a temperate island and there’s absolutely nothing usual going on.
Which begs the question why it is with our north to south regular daily temperature differences of 10 degrees and day to night difference of 20 degrees it should be that we are getting all excited about Global Warming measured in fractions of one degree? And framing our public policy to combat this supposed combatable supposed problem?

    The Polish Navy Lark
What’s steaming and comes backwards out of Cowes?
    A Polish warship, apparently.
Having just got used to the idea that women won the Battle of Britain, the Indians won the Great War and the Gays triumphed in the Wars of the Roses – or was that the Cavaliers versus the Roundheads in the Transgender Wars? (It is easy to get confused, what with all the interest groups vying for historical recognition; and so it is that the teaching of history has deteriorated somewhat since the dawn of the Horrible History era).
Anyway, only one of those historical revisions was not promulgated by the BBC.
This morning BBC tv have a new one for us: “The Polish Navy saved the Isle of Wight”
Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve a lot of respect for the Poles and their twentieth century national travails are a sad tale indeed.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-39807247

The online article tempers somewhat the tv claim of ‘saved the Isle of Wight’ but includes some carefully selected purple prose from the Polish Ambassador:
“The links forged in these tragic circumstances form the foundation of our shared heritage and partnership, and act as an example for future generations”
But if the BBC think they can bend this one to their open borders refugee-friendly pro-EU agenda, well, just remember who it was who was doing the bombing of the Isle of Wight whilst attempting to wipe Poland off the map – our EU buddies the Germans.

The BBC was re-writing history again last night with The BBC At War.

It told the tale of how the BBC was up against the ‘fake news’ put out by William Joyce from Germany but in the end they triumphed! The story got more and more ridiculous as it went on with Dimbleby praising Dimbleby.

As children we would respond to the threats of others with calls such as, “You and whose army?” and I felt like saying that last night. I think the allied armies achievements had more to do with putting a BBC reporter into Berlin than Dimbleby having a strop with his management!

I recently watched the SSGB series that I had recorded some while ago. This was the fiction that Britain lost the war in 1941 and the programme was an epitome of life under German (particularly SS) control. Anyway, as the storyline moved on, it suddenly dawned on me that the fiction that the BBC were peddling was a foreboding of things to come. Having lived in Saudi Arabia, the series portrayed what it will be like living under Islamic control. Equally as brutal as the SS if not more. Naturally, it had to be the BBC, advocate of all things Islamic, that created the television series.

I happen to believe that uncontrolled arrivals of large numbers of people is a very dangerous destabiliser to any country. When the majority are Muslims this increases the danger and I think the evidence is clear on this. I would argue that these people are not refugees, or immigrants but invaders who intend, as their numbers grow to take over the lands that they have landed on. Their demands are already obvious and they use our legal systems against us to further wrench more and more control leaving the existing population stupefied and treating them as second class citizens.
I breiefly caught the last few items on the CBB World Service news at 10am. The second last piece informed of 6000 rescued trying to cross, some arriving in Italy and others being rescued by a Doctors Without Borders ship. The summer hasn’t started yet however a few weeks ago I heard a similar story of 5000 being rescued. In subsequent broadcasts this was never mentioned again. Given the already precarious financial accounts in France and Italy, the collapse of Greece and the weak economic conditions in most of the other EU countries as well as the imminent UK elections you would think that our national broadcaster would be keen and willing to inform us on these latest unsustainable arrivals. This is just another selective, biased and manipulated presentation of events which are quickly leading us into what can only end in war. As the current government seem not bothered by the behaviour of the CBB and intend to do nothing I can only conclude that the deeper state is getting much deeper and that war is the intended outcome. This would cleanse millions of the population and leave an infrastructure needing trillions of investment to rebuild. It would also allow for democracy, such as it is to be squashed. The CBB are playing their part admirably and of course hope to become even more powerful. Oh, the last item was about two Indian brothers who are now the richest in the UK. Strange how that wasn’t the lead headline. It might well be in their next broadcast.

But maybe war is not the intended outcome. The invaders are supported by our government, the law and the media. Our schools and universities are re-teaching history so they have a longstanding place in our culture. Even the mildest protests against the invasion is met by media distortions, police and the elite’s black shirted Antifa

Intended result. A new culture, a new population devoid of its Christian history, one which integrates with Islam, not the other way. Already we see it in our schools such that the coming generation will submissively accept its newly created history and current place.

I don’t believe even the numbskulls at the far Left end of the spectrum actually want war. What they believe is that islam will be modified by absorption into Western culture, as will other cultural differences (in our concerns about islam let us not forget the hideousness of some sub-Saharan African ‘culture’!).

They are, of course, utterly and disastrously mistaken, as events have shown.

The BBC blandly reports that 6000 migrants are ‘rescued’ in the space of 48 hours. They are not being rescued . They are simply paddling a mile or two off the Libyan coast, curtesy of people smugglers, so that various EU navies and ‘no borders ‘ Brendan Cox – style charities can pick them up so that can complete their journey to Europe. Free welfare payments, accommodation etc follow and no repatriation to Africa or the Middle East. Italy, France etc receive yet more cultural enrichment and maybe a few mire terrorist recruits.
At least we have the channel but we don’t have effective border controls or enough patrol boats . Instead of catch phrase Brexit debates, I’d like to hear done detailed proposals about tough
immigration controls and strengthened borders that will be introduced the minute we leave the EU.
