The role of Enoch Powell in Radio’s Four’s upcoming reading of the ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech will be by Ian McDiarmid – best known as the Emperor from ‘Star Wars.’ No bias there, then.
Cooper – because the BBC are broadcasting this we all know it will be a “hit job” on Powell. But I cant help wondering if it may well blow up in their faces as I think it may be difficult to hide the self evident truths that the speech alludes to.
I suspect in all likelihood it will be nothing more than a sophisticated “white shaming” exercise which even the most unsophisticated audience will be able to see through.
The self evident truths in Powells speech are self evident because they are er…… true. So good luck with that Aunty I look forward with interest to see how you get on trying to convince everyone that the earth is flat, Elvis still lives on Mars and of course it was the Russians wot did it!
I listened to Dan Hodges, on the Jezza Swine Show today trying to make the case that the speech shouldn’t be broadcast; as it is just far too dangerous for the plebs to be allowed to hear it. Tw@t.

I thought not.
In the early 1970s I went to hear Powell speak at the local Miners Institute. It was packed and when he started he was facing a hostile audience of miners v Tory ex-minister. His logic was flawless and by the end they were totally won over. It was the best speech by a politician I’ve ever heard.
In both the Times and Telegraph there are articles by non Muslim Asians claiming that history of the past fifty years has proved EPs Speech was wrong. But the comments from readers hotly contest that view with only perhaps 10% of comments being in support. Whilst it may be true that some religions have settled down well into UK life , it certainly isn’t true of Muslims and as we see the black community has plenty of difficulties.One of the themes running through the comments was that the native British people were never asked if we agreed to have our society changed irrevocably. No matter what politicians do, no matter what the BBC claims , that is a fact that will not go away. When our economic circumstances deteriorate, and at some point they are bound to, tensions will rise and that fact will come into sharp focus.
History takes a long time to play itself out and Enoch Powell’ prediction has every chance of coming true.
Powell’s speech has already come true.
In the UK, in a general sense that the “black” has the whip hand. As seen in the attempts to close down the broadcast. In the event, the BBC powers at play here let it go forward as they believed they could exercise their whip hand by having the last word on the commentary.
[There are many more senses in which this has come true, but I leave those for now.]
But it has come true in a much more real sense in former European colonies. Though not British, much white blood is being spent in South Africa as they seize the assets of white farmers, etc.

She was, as usual,criticising all things British (pulling statues down, the commonwealth and her other usual hate Britain topics) and nawaz asked her why. She said she continuously slagged off (my words there) Britain because she loved it.
Nawaz then asked her why she gave a glowing report to Winnie Mandela (tyres and all) and if she also loved South Africa.
Somehow this wasn’t answered when someone else interrupted and it was forgotten.

No EG – I try not to as she doesn’t do my blood pressure any good. She has turned herself into a ‘media star’ by her outbursts – there was even a page long article about her recently, asking why someone who wasn’t born here, yet resides here, and living a comfortable life should continue to berate everything about the UK. I suppose to programme producers she’s TV ‘gold’. I wish someone would ask her , if she hates us so much why doesn’t she sod off back to Norway.

Interpretation of reality is an advance module so I suggest baby steps first. Logic however has been completely discredited.

Supposedly, Dateless interviewing two nonentities of colour, mouthing the usual anti-Powell platitudes means we have attained some multi-cultural diversity heaven. The real world looks quite different. There was even a reference to the working class support for Powell. This shoes how much the white working class has fallen from grace over 50 years at the BBC. Then they were the “horny-handed sons of toil” and vanguard of the revolution. Their disenchantment at being marginalised for replacement at a later date seems to have got the liberal elite’s back up. There have been a couple of programmes recently where thick white working class boys and girls have been paired off with more aspirational swots of colour or have been sent off to a private school in India because “white working class boys perform better in a diverse environment”. Needless to say the white thickos did not improve their GCSE results inspite of all the cultural enrichment and were doomed to be left-behind losers for the rest of their lives like all of us who voted Brexit.
The BBC even followed up with the Hideous Hag Beard Show.

Apparently there is a bit of a backlash against the BBC’s planned broadcast of Enoch Powell’s so-called ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech. This being the BBC there is more to it than that of course…the speech is being split up into little segments and taken apart, undoubtedly with the intent of ‘proving’ he was wrong in his facts and wrong in his predictions about what immigration would bring. Trouble is he was right about mass immigration…you could argue about the effect of the Race Relations Act, good or bad?, but it has had the effect, as Powell said, of an Orwellian criminalisation of native Brits. They didn’t ask, and weren’t asked if they wanted it, for mass immigration that completely destroyed their communities and way of life. If they objected they were told to like it and if they didn’t they were made into criminals in their own country….as in effect Powell was for making this speech. He spoke of the use of the law as a weapon to beat the ‘White man’, giving the immigrant the power….as is pretty much what is happening today…‘ They now learn that a one-way privilege is to be established by Act of Parliament: a law, which cannot, and is not intended, to operate to protect them or redress their grievances, is to be enacted to give the stranger, the disgruntled and the agent provocateur the power to pillory them for their private actions……Here is the means of showing that the immigrant communities can organize to consolidate their members, to agitate and campaign against their fellow-citizens, and to overawe and dominate the rest with the legal weapons which the ignorant and the ill-informed have provided. ‘

You can be absolutely sure there is no way the BBC will be concluding Powell was right…you may have noticed they have been talking about him recently…the, clearly ‘official’, line from several BBC presenters has been that Powell’s speech was to blame for the rise of racism and the Far Right in Britain….that’ll be right, no racism in Britain before then….no Mosley, no Black Shirts, no anti-semitism. It’s a narrative designed once again to demonise Powell, turn him from prescient ‘hero’ into a Nazi demagogue who has stirred up irrational and loathsome hatreds…the usual BBC reinterpretation of history to suit its own agenda…..an interesting quote and very apt from Roger Scruton in the video below that ‘people are frightened by the truth’…those ‘people’ being the cowardly politicians and their fellow travellers in the media who won’t admit they made an horrendous mistake and of course don’t dare to do anything to put things right in any meaningful way.
Odd then that back in 2008 the BBC made a similar programme, one which had a lot of the usual sneering and snide comments about Powell but which also seemed to take a parallel track that he was right…we had Frank Field on essentially supporting what Powell said…and a curious final comment from the narrator that ‘blamed’ Powell for the rise of, not the Far Right, but multi-culturalism which we were told came as a response from the head-in-the-sand liberal establishment to his speech which ‘inadvertently damaged the country he loved’…..an admission from the BBC that multiculturalism is a huge mistake and a failed experiment that has destroyed Britain in ‘The Great Betrayal’.
Here’s the speech in full…and note he doesn’t talk himself [as he is so often deliberately misquoted] of the ‘the black man will have the whip hand over the white man.’, it’s a quote from a constituent used to illustrate what the concerns were of the local population at the pace of immigration…not wrong though.

20th April, 1968
‘The supreme function of statesmanship is to provide against preventable evils. In seeking to do so, it encounters obstacles which are deeply rooted in human nature. One is that by the very order of things such evils are not demonstrable until they have occurred: at each stage in their onset there is room for doubt and for dispute whether they be real or imaginary. By the same token, they attract little attention in comparison with current troubles, which are both indisputable and pressing. Hence the besetting temptation of all politics to concern itself with the immediate present at the expense of the future. Above all, people are disposed to mistake predicting troubles for causing troubles and even for desiring troubles: ‘if only’, they love to think, ‘if only people wouldn’t talk about it, it probably wouldn’t happen’. Perhaps this habit goes back to the primitive belief that the word and the thing, the name and the object, are identical. At all events, the discussion of future grave but, with effort now, avoidable evils is the most unpopular and at the same time the most necessary occupation for the politician. Those who knowingly shirk it, deserve, and not infrequently receive, the curses of those who come after.
A week or two ago I fell into conversation with a constituent, a middle-aged, quite ordinary working man employed in one of our nationalized industries. After a sentence or two about the weather, he suddenly said: ‘If I had the money to go, I wouldn’t stay in this country’. I made some deprecatory reply, to the effect that even this government wouldn’t last for ever; but he took no notice, and continued: ‘I have three children, all of them been through grammar school and two of them married now, with family. I shan’t be satisfied till I have seen them all settled overseas. In this country in fifteen or twenty years time the black man will have the whip hand over the white man.’
I can already hear the chorus of execration. How dare I say such a horrible thing? How dare I stir up trouble and inflame feelings by repeating such a conversation? The answer is that I do not have the right not to do so. Here is a decent, ordinary fellow-Englishman, who in broad daylight in my own town says to me, his Member of Parliament, that this country will not be worth living in for his children. I simply do not have the right to shrug my shoulders and think about something else. What he is saying, thousands and hundreds of thousands are saying and thinking – not throughout Great Britain, perhaps, but in the areas that are already undergoing the total transformation to which there is no parallel in a thousand years of English history.
In fifteen or twenty years, on present trends, there will be in this country 3½ million Commonwealth immigrants and their descendants. That is not my figure. That is the official figure given to Parliament by the spokesman of the Registrar General’s office. There is no comparable official figure for the year 2000; but it must be in the region of five to seven million, approximately one-tenth of the whole population, and approaching that of Greater London. Of course, it will not be evenly distributed from Margate to Aberystwyth and from Penzance to Aberdeen. Whole areas, towns and parts of towns across England will be occupied by different sections of the immigrant and immigrant-descended population.
As time goes on, the proportion of this total who are immigrant descendants, those born in England, who arrived here by exactly the same route as the rest of us, will rapidly increase. Already by 1985 those born here would constitute the majority. It is this fact above all which creates the extreme urgency of action now, of just that kind of action which is hardest for politicians to take, action where the difficulties lie in the present but the evils to be prevented or minimized lie several parliaments ahead.
The natural and rational first question for a nation confronted by such a prospect is to ask: ‘how can its dimensions be reduced?’ Granted it be not wholly preventable, can it be limited, bearing in mind that numbers are of the essence. The significance and consequences of an alien element introduced into a country or population are profoundly different according to whether that element is one per cent or 10 per cent. The answers to the simple and rational question are equally simple and rational: by stopping, or virtually stopping, further inflow, and by promoting the maximum outflow. Both answers are part of the official policy of the Conservative Party.
It almost passes belief that at this moment 20 or 30 additional immigrant children are arriving from overseas in Wolverhampton alone every week – and that means 15 or 20 additional families a decade or two hence. Those whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad. We must be mad, literally mad, as a nation to be permitting the annual inflow of some 50,000 dependents, who are for the most part the material of the future growth of the immigrant-descended population. It is like watching a nation busily engaged in heaping up its own funeral pyre. So insane are we that we actually permit unmarried persons to immigrate for the purpose of founding a family with spouses and fiances whom they have never seen. Let no one suppose that the flow of dependents will automatically tail off. On the contrary, even at the present admission rate of only 5,000 a year by voucher, there is sufficient for a further 25,000 dependents per annum ad infinitum, without taking into account the huge reservoir of existing relations in this country – and I am making no allowance at all for fraudulent entry. In these circumstances nothing will suffice but that the total inflow for settlement should be reduced at once to negligible proportions, and that the necessary legislative and administrative measures be taken without delay. I stress the words ‘for settlement’. This has nothing to do with the entry of Commonwealth citizens, any more than of aliens, into this country, for the purposes of study or of improving their qualifications, like (for instance) the Commonwealth doctors who, to the advantage of their own countries, have enabled our hospital service to be expanded faster than would otherwise have been possible. These are not, and never have been, immigrants.
I turn to re-emigration. If all immigration ended tomorrow, the rate of growth of the immigrant and immigrant-descended population would be substantially reduced, but the prospective size of this element in the population would still leave the basic character of the national danger unaffected. This can only be tackled while a considerable proportion of the total still comprises persons who entered this country during the last ten years or so. Hence the urgency of implementing now the second element of the Conservative Party’s policy: the encouragement of re-emigration. Nobody can make an estimate of the numbers which, with generous grants and assistance would choose either to return to their countries of origin or go to other countries anxious to receive the manpower and the skills they represent. Nobody knows, because no such policy has yet been attempted. I can only say that, even at present, immigrants in my own constituency from time to time come to me, asking if I can find them assistance to return home. If such a policy were adopted and pursued with the determination which the gravity of the alternative justifies, the resultant outflow could appreciably alter the prospects for the future.
It can be no part of any policy that existing families should be kept divided; but there are two directions in which families can be reunited, and if our former and present immigration laws have brought about the division of families, albeit voluntary or semi-voluntary, we ought to be prepared to arrange for them to be reunited in their countries of origin. In short, suspension of immigration and encouragement of re-emigration hang together, logically and humanly, as two aspects of the same approach.
The third element of the Conservative Party’s policy is that all who are in this country as citizens should be equal before the law and that there shall be no discrimination or difference made between them by public authority. As Mr. Heath has put it, we will have no ‘first-class citizens’ and ‘second-class citizens’. This does not mean that the immigrant and his descendants should be elevated into a privileged or special class or that the citizen should be denied his right to discriminate in the management of his own affairs between one fellow-citizen and another or that he should be subjected to inquisition as to his reasons and motives for behaving in one lawful manner rather than another.
There could be no grosser misconception of the realities than is entertained by those who vociferously demand legislation as they call it ‘against discrimination’, whether they be leader-writers of the same kidney and sometimes on the same newspapers which year after year in the 1930s tried to blind this country to the rising peril which confronted it, or archbishops who live in palaces, faring delicately, with the bedclothes pulled right over their heads. They have got it exactly and diametrically wrong. The discrimination and the deprivation, the sense of alarm and of resentment, lies not with the immigrant population but with those among whom they have come and are still coming. This is why to enact legislation of the kind before Parliament at this moment is to risk throwing a match on to gunpowder. The kindest thing that can be said about those who propose and support it is that they know not what they do.
Nothing is more misleading than comparison between the Commonwealth immigrant in Britain and the American negro. The negro population of the United States, which was already in existence before the United States became a nation, started literally as slaves and were later given the franchise and other rights of citizenship, to the exercise of which they have only gradually and still incompletely come. The Commonwealth immigrant came to Britain as a full citizen, to a country which knew no discrimination between one citizen and another, and he entered instantly into the possession of the rights of every citizen, from the vote to free treatment under the National Health Service. Whatever drawbacks attended the immigrants – and they were drawbacks which did not, and do not, make admission into Britain by hook or by crook appear less than desirable – arose not from the law or from public policy or from administration but from those personal circumstances and accidents which cause, and always will cause, the fortunes and experience of one man to be different from another’s.
But while to the immigrant entry to this country was admission to privileges and opportunities eagerly sought, the impact upon the existing population was very different. For reasons which they could not comprehend, and in pursuance of a decision by default, on which they were never consulted, they found themselves made strangers in their own country. They found their wives unable to obtain hospital beds in childbirth, their children unable to obtain school places, their homes and neighbourhoods changed beyond recognition, their plans and prospects for the future defeated; at work they found that employers hesitated to apply to the immigrant worker the standards of discipline and competence required of the native-born worker; they began to hear, as time went by, more and more voices which told them that they were now the unwanted. On top of this, they now learn that a one-way privilege is to be established by Act of Parliament: a law, which cannot, and is not intended, to operate to protect them or redress their grievances, is to be enacted to give the stranger, the disgruntled and the agent provocateur the power to pillory them for their private actions.
In the hundreds upon hundreds of letters I received when I last spoke on this subject two or three months ago, there was one striking feature which was largely new and which I find ominous. All Members of Parliament are used to the typical anonymous correspondent; but what surprised and alarmed me was the high proportion of ordinary, decent, sensible people, writing a rational and often well-educated letter, who believed that they had to omit their address because it was dangerous to have committed themselves to paper to a Member of Parliament agreeing with the views I had expressed, and that they would risk either penalties or reprisals if they were known to have done so. The sense of being a persecuted minority which is growing among ordinary English people in the areas of the country affected is something that those without direct experience can hardly imagine. I am going to allow just one of those hundreds of people to speak for me. She did give her name and address, which I have detached from the letter which I am about to read. She was writing from Northumberland about something which is happening at this moment in my own constituency.
‘Eight years ago in a respectable street in Wolverhampton a house was sold to a negro. Now only one white (a woman old-age pensioner) lives there. This is her story. She lost her husband and both her sons in the war. So she turned her seven-roomed house, her only asset, into a boarding house. She worked hard and did well, paid off her mortgage and began to put something by for her old age. Then the immigrants moved in. With growing fear, she saw one house after another taken over. The quiet street became a place of noise and confusion. Regretfully, her white tenants moved out.
The day after the last one left, she was awakened at 7 a.m. by two negroes who wanted to use her phone to contact their employer. When she refused, as she would have refused any stranger at such an hour, she was abused and feared she would have been attacked but for the chain on her door. Immigrant families have tried to rent rooms in her house, but she always refused. Her little store of money went, and after paying her rates, she has less than £2 per week. She went to apply for a rate reduction and was seen by a young girl, who on hearing she had a seven-roomed house, suggested she should let part of it. When she said the only people she could get were negroes, the girl said ‘racial prejudice won’t get you anywhere in this country’. So she went home.
The telephone is her lifeline. Her family pay the bill, and help her out as best they can. Immigrants have offered to buy her house – at a price which the prospective landlord would be able to recover from his tenants in weeks, or at most a few months. She is becoming afraid to go out. Windows are broken. She finds excreta pushed through her letterbox. When she goes to the shops, she is followed by children, charming, wide-grinning piccaninnies. They cannot speak English, but one word they know. ‘Racialist’, they chant. When the new Race Relations Bill is passed, this woman is convinced she will go to prison. And is she so wrong? I begin to wonder.’
The other dangerous delusion from which those who are wilfully or otherwise blind to realities suffer, is summed up in the word ‘integration’. To be integrated into a population means to become for all practical purposes indistinguishable from its other members. Now, at all times, where there are marked physical differences, especially of colour, integration is difficult, though over a period, not impossible. There are among the Commonwealth immigrants who have come to live here in the last fifteen years or so, many thousands whose wish and purpose is to be integrated and whose every thought and endeavour is bent in that direction. But to imagine that such a thing enters the heads of a great and growing majority of immigrants and their descendants is a ludicrous misconception, and a dangerous one to boot.
We are on the verge of a change. Hitherto it has been force of circumstance and of background which has rendered the very idea of integration inaccessible to the greater part of the immigrant population – that they never conceived or intended such a thing, and that their numbers and physical concentration meant the pressures towards integration which normally bear upon any small minority did not operate. Now we are seeing the growth of positive forces acting against integration, of vested interests in the preservation and sharpening of racial and religious differences, with a view to the exercise of actual domination, first over fellow-immigrants and then over the rest of the population. The cloud no bigger than a man’s hand, that can so rapidly overcast the sky, has been visible recently in Wolverhampton and has shown signs of spreading quickly. The words I am about to use, verbatim as they appeared in the local press of 17th February [1968], are not mine, but those of a Labour Member of Parliament who is a Minister in the Government. ‘The Sikh community’s campaign to maintain customs inappropriate in Britain is much to be regretted. Something is puzzling me about the BBC reports of the Syrian gas attack.
Each report is covered with the words ‘alleged’, ‘suspected’, ‘believed to’, and so on.
In the picture note the inverted commas around ‘chemical attack’
It is as if the BBC do not want to be committed to the certainty felt by Treezer and her Cabinet.
Let me speculate.
Perhaps the BBC know that the operation is a false flag and are aware that one day the truth will out and Treezer will have to leave with her knickers down.
The state broadcaster can then distance itself from a discredited government.

The BBC are definitely pushing for war in Syria and regime change. From the BBC output from their website – this can be proven. As I previously mentioned given the very close ties the BBC has with the Syrian Rebels, it would not be surprising to learn that the BBC were working with the Rebels to produce false flag presentations.
I am currently looking at one homepage BBC article – which reads more like a case for war – and it has no fewer than 26 embedded links to external sites – including links that takes us to Syrian Rebel activist websites and youtube clips.

The BBC seems very keen to promote any and every EU initiative as an ‘EU initiative’…the EU to the rescue be it data protection, stopping food fraud or targeting the evil Murdoch. How will we survive without them? It is also very keen to keep up the constant drumbeat of doom and gloom stories about the dire effect Brexit will have….this morning we had the head of the German stock exchange on to tell us we must be mad and Brexit will be a disaster. Just another day on the BBC which numbnuts Adonis clearly doesn’t actually watch, listen or read as he complains the BBC does not push the idea that Brexit is not final and that it can be reversed and killed off…except the BBC does constantly peddle that idea…indeed the very next day Nick Robinson was in Berlin suggesting that very thing….just a coincidence I’m sure.
But one EU ‘initiative’ seems to have been cold shouldered by the BBC, they have mentioned it in passing but, considering what is happening right now in the world, you might think it would have much more significance and prominence….it’s in other news sources but not the BBC, not on their website at all as far as I can see…wonder why…..keep in mind it came from an EU investigation….note that Germany, under the rule of the East German and ardent ‘Young Socialist’ Frau Merkel, got a ‘sweetheart deal’ from Putin…who was stationed in the same town in East Germany as Merkel when he was in the kGB…any reason the Russian’s most successful spy [got to be a reason the Americans were tapping her personal phone] gets a ‘sweetheart deal’?

I have been listening to many of Putin’s interviews on youtube given the situation in Syria, the very likely attack by Theresa May, Macron and Donald Trump in Syria, and then the possible escalation of events leading to a nuclear exchange.
What Putin has been saying is that when the US unilaterally pulled out of the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty in 2002 Russia felt that this was a sign of intent by the US to marginalise Russia and blunt Russian’s nuclear threat – which the Russians felt was maintaining the balance of power. With the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1990 – Russia was left in a parlous state, and he felt the West and the US took advantage of this and began to think of Russia as a spent force. Putin said that Russia looked on as the US and its allies intervened militarily in world affairs: what they saw as invading former Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya – and Russia was in no position to stop them. Similarly they have seen the expansion of NATO into former Soviet Union allied countries with anti-ballistic weapon systems being installed in Romania and soon Poland – Putin says that Russia has repeatedly been ignored in their protests. Putin also says that he feels that the change in government in Ukraine was a western inspired coup – but again Russia was in no position militarily to stop it – all they have done is offered support to areas of Ukraine that are ethnically Russian, near the Russian border, and have asked for support or want to break away from this “new Ukraine” to gain their own independent state.
What has changed recently according to Putin is that Russia have now recovered their nuclear threat – he says since 2002 Russia has been working intensely to modernise its now smaller (compared to the Soviet Union) conventional weaponry and to modernise its nuclear arsenal so that it remains a threat after the US and NATO surrounds Russia with its Anti-Ballistic Missile System. He says that Russia now has modernised its nuclear missile system giving it confidence that it won’t be negated by the US-NATO defence system.
He is making noises that he and Russia might be ready to counter what he sees as US – NATO interventionalist policies – beginning now with Syria.

I spent a good 2 years actually researching this subject for my officer candidates who would be tested on it via a written exam.
1) The Ukraine and Poland both gained independence from Russia around the same time (1991 and 1989 respectively) At the time their GDP was roughly similar. However Polands rose as it gravitated towards the West and it rose even more after it joined in 2004. The Ukraine#s GDP has remained stagnant . The people of the Ukraine simply wanted what the Poles had , by closer links to the West and the EU. This view was helped by how Russia blackmailed the Ukraine from 2005 till 2015 by cutting off gas to the country in the midst of winter and then increasing the price, which the EU paid.
The Moscow leaning president refused to sign an association agreement with the European Union on 21 November 2013 (President Yanukovych had announced his intention to sign the agreement, but ultimately refused to do so at the last minute) and instead singed a deal with Moscow, there lies the reason why he was kicked out, nothing to do with NATO.
As for the Crimea, Putin has admitted that the plan to annex Crimea was ordered weeks before the referendum on self-determination.

Why? because the Crimea holds all the docks and such for the Russia black sea fleet and with the Russian lease on the naval years (which was set to expire in 2017) increased by 25 years in 2010 with a reduction in the price of gas sold to the Ukraine from Russia, a cut as we saw which meant nothing with Moscow reneging on that deal. However by upsetting the Ukrainians they knew that they could by rights kick out the Russias, leaving them as huge loss in Naval docks and suck, so they took it, blaming everybody else as for the reason why.

I don’t have any notes from the time but I seem to remember that the Ukrainian president had a year to run before he would have had to face the polls again but the west couldn’t wait for a democratic solution to sort things out they had to engineer a pro-western solution regardless of democracy. The street protests trying to bring the government down (undemocraticlly) were supported by the EU and USA. It was a situation where on the streets of the capital hordes of unemployed people could be hired to riot or protest for whichever side paid the most, or so I’m informed by an Russian/Ukrainian friend who is no supporter of Putin.

5 April 2018 – Evacuations are suspended due to disagreement within Jaish-al Islam, hard-liners demanding they stay and fight.
6 April 2018 – The battle recommences, Jaish-al Islam hard-liners start shelling Damascus, Syrian warplanes targeted Douma for the first time in 10 days. The Syrian government immediately launched an air and ground offensive on the town.
7 April 2018 – Syrian forces are infiltrating Jaysh Al-Islam’s primary line of defence reaching Douma’s southern outskirts. A chemical attack on Douma is reported. Reports are that the chemical attack was delivered by helicopters dropping canisters, which where dropped on the surface but strangely caused most casualties underground. Now the reports are that the Chemical Attack was fabricated just like the previous Chemical Attacks. It looks like the White Helmets fabricated the chemical operation by using wounded children in the Hospital and actors. The French have evidence that yellow canisters were used. The canisters do not look as if they could have survived being dropped from a helicopter, so reports indicated that the hardline rebels facing loss of control poisoned the many children of the prisoners they held underground using yellow canisters containing chlorine, but the latest is that even these children may not have been effected other than by smoke inhalation.
8 April 2018 – Jaish-al Islam hard-liners lose control and the ceasefire is restored.
9 April 2018 – Civilians storm rebel warehouses that were packed with food, while the rebels burned their tanks, heavy weapons and other military vehicles.

Alarm bells go off, James Le Mesurier who founded the White Helmets is known to be an MI6 agent. His MI6 colleague Hamish de Bretton-Gordon has quoted his opinions in the media about the Skripal case and on chemical weapon threats from Salisbury to Syria. So the MI6 agents reported to be in Douma were probably the White Helmets.
Theresa May has gone on record saying there was no alternative but for her to send the order for British Jets to bomb Damascus. In my view she has lost the next general election. As long as Jeremy Corbyn doesn’t shoot himself in the foot, labour are now more likely to win an outright majority at the next election.

The 3 countries which carried out strikes on Syria are all Nuclear armed, thus able to resist any nuclear intimidation by Moscow.
That may be so but their citizens and the human body are unable to resist a thermonuclear strike.
This rush to action is simply the usual suspects flexing their political and military muscles by dropping a whole load of bombs in and around areas of population.
Intervention in Afghanistan led to the Taliban and al-Qaeda. Intervention in Iraq led to the collapse of Iraq and the creation of ISIS. Regime change in Libya led to the biblical level mass migration of predominantly Muslim peoples into Europe. Intervention in Syria over the past seven years has led to hundreds of thousands of dead in Syria and further mass migration into Europe.
This is not careful, sustained, stern diplomacy it is bombing the shite out of people diplomacy – my dick is bigger than yours diplomacy.

The irony of the US, UK and France taking the moral high ground is that all three support and promote huge arms industries selling an assortment of advanced and not so advanced weapons and munitions around the world to various dictators and regimes that use those arms to brutally suppress their people or to engage in cross border warfare e.g. Saudi Arabia in Yemen.
I think the danger is – is that we are looking at this whole thing through the prism of conventional party politics not from a globalist standpoint.
Both political parties gave up trying to represent “us the people” a long time ago.
If Theresa wins the next General election it is unlikely that any sort of effective brexit will happen and the immigration back doors will still be left wide open
If Corbyn wins -Brexit will still not be happening and the front doors will also be flung open as well to any “refugee” who wants to move here.

Can we stay on topic which is the BBC , yes there are some pressing concerns around the world, and nobody objects to the odd off topic post. But currently we have been overrun by people who wish to opine what a bad place the West is , in its treatment of Russia. As I said, the odd post is fine, but come on, it’s 247 at the moment, If you wish to gripe go elsewhere and give the rest of us a chance to fart in public.
Maybe some analysis on how the BBC has been reporting this? They have been positively pushing for intervention for several days now and are absolutely cock-a-hoop of the successful outcome – bombing of Syria in support of the Syrian Rebel Coalition. Even on the CBBC webpage for British children they have been carefully explaining the need for western intervention.
PS how is it going in Afrin? The BBC have stopped reporting from that part of Syria. As far as I can tell it is going well for Turkey and the Syrian Rebels there and not so well for the Kurds – but as I say there doesn’t seem to be much news reported from there at the moment.

Up until now, the BBC has insisted that Trump is always in the wrong, though they havent appologised for that.

There were more black actors playing Romans than there were black people in the audience .female actresses played very male roles . In the play ( spoiler alert ) Julius Caesar was killed by 5 women . I think I have a Quentin Letts issue.
We’ve noticed that when we visit the theatre very few non whites except for me and a load of oriental tourists. You’d think the bbc would have noticed that, but oh no they are too busy defending a black himonie in Harry Potter on stage.

The BBC has three senior News Editors; Politics, Economics and Business and major country or area Editors, eg. Jeremy Bowen as Middle East Ed. and Sopey over in Washington (Yes, I know there are a legion of others, but that’s the way of the BBC creating jobs for the boys and girls and paying them lots of our money.) Since the turn of the 21st century, the BBC heavily promoted their Editors, especially the Senior ones and asked them to write regular Blogs for the BBC web-site, which they did. (That’s the way of the BBC creating jobs for the boys and girls and paying them lots more of our money.) These Blogs were open to registered web-site users to comment. It wasn’t long before a (growing) community would gather around, for example, Steffie Flanders’ Blog and talk mostly economics but occasionally stray off topic which might or might not be allowed. BBC Moderation was none too good or consistent. (But that’s the way of the BBC, creating jobs for the boys and girls and paying them lots of even more of our money.) Same for ‘Toenails’ and Pesto and their Blogs. Each had a Community but also many would post across all three because, inevitably in the way of the world, politics, business and economics collide and overlap and mix.
Real communities, from the virtual world, started to gather regularly (often daily) to discuss, argue, debate, bring insights – perhaps share specialist (inside) knowledge, argue some more, teach, fight like rats in a sack, apologise, share personal news & griefs, commiserate, take sides, learn from each other, have minds changed, carry on arguing, and so on. It struck me as I participated a bit and then increasingly, that what the BBC had done was a truly wonderful thing.
In an increasingly busy and disconnected 24/7 world, the BBC had used new technology to bring back the City gates and village pump of old, of times long ago. They had brought communities, albeit anonymously in many cases, around these Blogs, and enabled people to have a voice and engage with each other. It enabled learning and increased understanding while challenging all ideas and at the same time providing examples of tolerance, acceptance and, even, forgiveness. On any given Blog you might see bad aspects of human nature being, if not overcome, at least overshadowed by the good.
Then, a few years ago, having built this community, it was killed off by the BBC under James Purnell.

Changes were also made to the web-site restricting posting, making searching more difficult. In addition, Steffie left, Nick needed treatment for his cancer and Pesto swapped jobs moving to Steffie’s spot. Laura Kuenssberg did not Blog regularly (how you get the nick-name ‘Part-time’) and did not want sweaty proles commenting on her precious pearls of wisdom. I would also guess that the amount of data that was going through the BBC servers was becoming too much for their capacity and what the BBC was willing to pay for updating kit and capacity and the techies to run it. It’s OK to pay ‘Part-time’ a quarter of a mill but half that to geek in skinny jeans who looks like he should be in school, oh no! Despite a guaranteed income of £3.6bn …..
That’s probably the real reason for the demise of the BBC-based community. The BBC are greedy for power and money. They have become fat and lazy. They know they are powerful (albeit under threat from new media) and have allowed that power to be corrupted and diverted into promotion of their own political ideas and ideals. Citizen journalism and the new media that facilitates it, threatens the BBC and their hold on power and their money.
They could have kept ‘their community’ together and under their wing. Instead, they destroyed it and those scattered sparrows who like ‘meeting others’ inevitably head elsewhere. Some of them landed here and stayed around the Biased BBC feeder so it is inevitable that the chatter will stray from the topic of BBC bias and other faults onto the topics of the day. Funny thing but this morning, while dozing and listening to early TOADY Prog, my mind briefly strayed to those that we haven’t heard from here in a while; Grant, Support our Lefty, Cranmer, for example.
When that sort of thing happens, you know that you have a community.

Here’s a wild guess:
They are doing some really hard, intensive work, exploring whether there is scope to morph this site or move separately into a Blogging/podcasting news alternative to the MSM, especially the BBC. One of the dangers of doing what the BBC have done with their web-site, Editors’ Blogs and HYSs is that inspired individuals or groups may then go off and create an alternative to a part of the BBC. If you like, an early version and example of this, THE prototype – whether you like it or not – is/was Guido Fawkes.
Rather less wild, much more realistic guess:
The data this site is now carrying is getting a bit big for the servers. In addition, it now has an archive that both needs to be managed (and made increasingly accessible – for research, etc.) and could be utilised more in different ways. Then there are new Data Protection changes coming in May 2018, so there may or will be work to do for that.
If it is any encouragement to David, Alan and their team, I probably first visited here nearly a decade ago. I ran away, more than slightly shocked. Occasionally thereafter, I would dip back in and shrink back and away. When B-BBC switched to registration for users, I signed up as I had started to see a change for the better. That continued and accelerated under the new set-up. Thank you gentlemen – and, of course – any ladies.
I think Biased-BBC is better than ever, although the topical posts from David, Alan and others are missed, as are the more clockwork updates, but this site in my view has improved tremendously and is also great entertainment from the writing and humour displayed, for example, just on this Thread so far. I’ve had a jolly good laugh or chuckle at some of the posts here. Thank you all.

I accept the requirement to stick rigidly to the subject of the BBC. The problem for me is that I don’t see much difference between the BBC, the state, and what the Americans refer to as the ‘deep state’.

I’m guess we must be on a list somewhere – acts of Parliament such as section 5 of the public order act are so widely drawn that anything can be dragged into it so there is a method for the state to criminalise certain types of people .

Having read the Powell speech and noted how prophetic he was, I am drawn to the conclusion that the BBCLabour will use against Powell the same tactics that Blair/Campbell used to discredit Andrew Gilligan over the dodgy dossier.
That is, identify specific detail and show that it was wrong. Then, make a big noise about these errors. The gullible will conclude that because of the noise and errors the whole thing must be wrong.
Hopefully the less gullible will see the wood for the trees. Certain details may be wrong but the general idea, the direction of travel, the big picture is right.
Some of Powell’s thoughts are amazingly accurate 50 years later. The differentiation between overseas students and permanent immigrants. The acceptance of overseas doctors working in the NHS. Towns changing character because of mass immigration and subsequent second generation growth. He may have screwed up in places, but he wasn’t wrong.
