On politics live I must have heard several times “people on the doorstep are telling me” or something similar.
Has anyone on here ever had a knock on their door by their politician out canvassing for an election.
It would be interesting to hear what was said but my feelings are that nobody will have had the visit.
Also.
They were talking about the £58billion for the wasps wimmin.
Paid for by taxing the top 5% “just a little bit more”
It got me thinking.
Labour will land a man on the moon within 5 years at a cost of £200billion. (Grieve hopefully)
Paid for by taxing the top 5% “just a little bit more”
Labour will give every person in the UK a weekly payment of £250 at a cost of £50billion each year.

Labour will double the NHS budget.

Bravo EG – another one of those cover all’s for anything a politician of any type claims – “ people on the doorstep have been telling me ….” it would take a brave Comrade Corbyn disciple to knock on any door in my area …..probably because people get up early in the morning and go to work ….
And as for these ‘victims ‘ of equality who happen to be wimmin – what about me ? I thought I’d get a pension at 65 … now it’s pushed back to 68? – by the time I get there it will probably be 70- maybe I should find someone to blame . ?
I follow all the clowns pitching for the comfy sinecure of my hood’s vote very soon, on social media.
They appear to be leafleting like a Halifax over Berlin.
So far our house has had one flyer, from the Greens, that says nothing beyond ‘Hope’, ‘Change’ and ‘We are all going to die’ and… nothing else.
I am beginning to think the excitement around this election extends to some very odd people in Westminster, W1A, Salford, the butt end of twitter and… nowhere else.
“The young lorry driver was the first person to be arrested and, today, here at the Old Bailey, he admitted being part of a conspiracy to smuggle people into Britain. The discovery of 39 dead people from Vietnam in the back of a lorry in Essex led to a huge international investigation into a suspected people-smuggling gang”
This is in contrast to the BBC online article –
“A lorry driver who is accused over the deaths of 39 migrants in Essex has admitted plotting to assist illegal immigration…As well as the manslaughter charges, Mr Robinson is accused of conspiracy to commit human trafficking offences and transferring criminal property.”
“BBC Films defended its product, saying Blue Story is an “important film”, which aims to show the “futility of gang violence”. A spokesperson for BBC Films said: “We are appalled by the incident at Star City and our thoughts are with all those affected by it. Blue Story is an outstanding, critically acclaimed debut feature which powerfully depicts the futility of gang violence. It’s an important film from one of the UK’s most exciting new filmmakers which we’re proud to be part of.”
Blue Story “critically acclaimed?”
As in Simon Hooper’s review for AnyGoodFilms.com who adds:
“Claims that grime music is responsible for deaths in the black youth community might seem risible and frankly if that (sic) were any truth in that then the conservative government would probably be funding it. . .” Yeah, OK mate.
Personally I’m not in favour of blaming films for causing violence. Anybody remember gang movies The Warriors, Colors or even Quadrophenia? The same accusations were levelled at those movies and they were made by actual film makers, not some dim rapper. No, the responsibility lies with the little turds who arm themselves and go looking for trouble, and them alone.
WE live in a risk averse society . The cinema chain is probably acting on legal advice. Anything happening on their premises and they risk being sued.
It is just not worth their while to show the film. Risk v reward.

After something controversial, the BBC has a habit of switching to the weather. The online BBC weather forecasts still show old fashioned pressure maps. I haven’t noticed these on television, perhaps they think few would understand them?
Not too many bright spots around today and for south-west England and South Wales, heavy rain is expected. Met Office yellow warnings are in force for those areas. https://t.co/xng9vLNG7cpic.twitter.com/BB28HegYUO
After the debacle in Birmingham the BBC films has announced its next venture into the world of diversity with an all black take on the Flintstones set in London.
Further to thoughtful but rather less amusing.
The BBC 10 pm news covers the Birmingham cinema story in some detail.
Pictures about the film.
Pictures about the cast.
Pictures about the cinema customers.
There was not a single white person.
Yet this ‘significant under-representation’ and glaringly obvious ethnicity component to the story yielded not a single mention in the BBC report.
The usual disgraceful BBC whitewash when one of its favourite agendas hits the buffers.

This is an appalling political intervention by the Cheif Rabbi. BBC News – General election 2019: Chief rabbi attacks Labour anti-Semitism record
Anyone who knows a probably fairly young Corbynista knows that the hatred of Israel is behind all this. They just cannot stomach the fact that Israel exists. This means that in their view as Israel is a majority Jewish state the Jews of this country are in some way to be so closely identified with Israel as to be treated in the same way. BDS against Israel and othering the Jewish population of this country.
This needs spelling out time and time again.
In our wee troubled part of the world, the NHS waiting lists are the worst in UK, however, the hospitals simply would not function at all without the skilled doctors and nurses from overseas.
A friend has just survived a quintuple bypass (yes five) and the very excellent consultant is a Nigerian. One usually associates the latter with email scams.
One does see a lot of young doctors though and I’m wondering if it’s like what used to be the ‘brain drain’ where after qualifying they take themselves off?
Children should be taught about the evils of socialism, communism, Marxism, Trotskyism, Fabianism and all the other isms that the collectivists have invented and the death destruction and impoverishment they bring in their wake.
Maybe if children were made aware of these things, including the fact that collectivism is founded on lies, deceit, threats and violence, they’d be a little more discerning in their beliefs in later life.

Having said that given the state of Blue Labour clueless Tories who have abandoned conservatism and are so devoid of sense and vision that they can only run with Tony BLiars vision (hell on Earth) in the hope they too will be enriched by the petro dollars, that they have become no different to Labour in the 1990s.
Al-beeb are to be commended for their meticulous investigation into underage sex offences committed in London, New York, Florida, The Virgin Islands and Paris.
No doubt they will eventually extend their investigations to include the less exotic towns of Rotherham, Rochester, Burnley, Newcastle, Keighley, Peterborough, Aylesbury, Oxford, Bristol, Coventry, Derby, Gateshead, High Wycombe, Huddersfield, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Middlesborough, Oldbury, Oldham, Preston, Telford and so many more.
Incidentally I’ve noticed it’s increasingly difficult to find a list of such towns online. A Google search produces more and more articles by leftish / liberal publications muddying the waters and many challenging the very notion of muslim grooming gangs, or whose main concern is of the danger of far-right groups.
A conspiracy theorist could almost believe that Google are monkeying with their data and algorithms, perish the thought.

“Speaking on his BBC podcast Have You Heard George’s Podcast?, he said: ‘I turned down an MBE. Listen to this pathetic drivel of this self-pitying POS on his BBC podcast. I’d start at 18:23. Be warned, you will get angry.
Cassandra: I used to listen to poetry programmes on Radio4. No longer. The end of the last series of ‘poetry please’ (itself lately subject to much PC under my long-standing hero, Roger McGough -since the late 60s, who clearly felt he had to sacrifice quality to ‘move with the times’) was the end of my listening. The chances of catching Milton or Keats, Larkin or Plath, ever diminishing. You may still get the odd Gerard Manley Hopkins or Edward Thomas, but it’s rare.
I heard a bit of ‘George the Poet’. Third-rate crap. The fact that there’s a bit of rhyming doesn’t make it poetry – a common problem with ‘rap’. They share the same sort of unattractive staccato rhythm, instead of having any musical quality. The fact that someone decides to publicly call himself ‘a poet’ means less than nothing.
Radio 4 has really been deteriorating in every respect over the last decade. The same can also be said for beeb television in general. Rewriting history and re-educating (brainwashing) us is now its major function.
The decline of poetry programmes on R4 – another channel now largely geared to propaganda- is only one symptom.
BBC types are being careful in the way they do / don’t report of the article by the Chief Rabbi concerning Corbyn and is anti Semitic comrades .
So what to do to minimise damage ? Get a multi millionaire ex Tory peer who gets £90 k from the EU each year to tell Tory voters to vote Illiberal . Heseltine to the rescue of Jeremy Corbyn .
I wonder how chakrabati will respond to the chief rabbi ? But I suspect she ll be hiding somewhere admiring herself wearing ermine .
As I write Toady has been on for around 40 minutes – but so far all they have done is juxtaposed the view of a no one like traitor Heseltine with The Chief Rabbi – and shamefully – treated them as equals .
I’ve speculated here before whether the BBC has the whif of anti semitism – and an irony that Tourette’s Robinson is – in theory I believe – Jewish ….
One might speculate that if a head of a major religion said ‘don’t vote Tory ‘we’d be hearing wall to wall coverage on the biased state broadcaster . I’m guessing an awful lot of lobbying has been going on overnight between labour and its’ broadcaster .
The BBC is full of self destructive Jews, who have it has to be said brought anti Semitism down on their own heads.
While other people were sounding out the warnings about the Muslims the BBC and others were not only defending Islamic anti Semitism, they were actively attacking those people who were warning them.
Despite there being Jews in senior positions at the BBC such as Alan Yentob and Danny Cohen – both have left under a cloud, the BBC has in the eyes of many of the Jews I have known pursued a campaign against Israel for decades, to the extent the Israeli government so far as I am aware does not give interviews to the BBC because of the perceived bias.
Alas despite clear prejudice the cowardly useless incompetent Tories have done what they alway do – nothing.
Andy,
“….downplay….”? From what I heard earlier, the results of the elections are not even mentioned.
A practice exercised closer to home that is realised.
The BBC Today Programme goes with ‘belief’ for the the money quote.
“”I think he is fit to be prime minister… I do not believe he is anti-Semitic.”
Lord Dubs – who came to the UK on the Kindertransport – believes the Chief Rabbi “has gone a bit far” in his criticism that Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party has not done enough to tackle anti-Semitism.”
Twice. For good measure. As anticipated. Hence the invitation.
In the October 16 thread, John in Cheshire posted a paper by Unconstrained Analytics on the Left. It appears that a follow-up was written “Warning on Racism” that takes a look at a few activities in the UK. Maybe worth a look?

A bit late but regarding the all-time high bribe for select women’s votes of £58 bn to recompense women for whom 25 years of advance warning about pension changes was not enough.
Will the Labour Party be compensating men for years of pension underpayments and unequal retirement ages?
Will the Labour Party be compensating men for 100 years of lower mortality rates?
Put the two together. Will the Labour Party be compensating men for state pension provision for 9 years less than women for most of the last several decades?
Of course not. Their victimhood policies are highly selective and driven only by their own pet prejudices.
No wonder the BBC find them so attractive.
Sluff.
I think they haven’t thought of that but as soon as they do they will announce this payment to all men, probably costing in the hundreds of £billions.
Buying votes.
All paid for by taxing the top 5% who will have to pay just a little more.
Today’s Labour Party victims are under-represented BAME people in the teaching profession.
Strangely the under-representation of white males in the nursing profession never gets a mention, in Labour Party circles, or at the BBC.
No surprises there.
Maybe we males need to get off our arses and form some noisy pressure groups.
Maybe a few white males in the NHS might be an idea? The Moaning Emole…

‘Why was our son left starving for five days?’
An investigation into the death of a young, autistic man – left starving and desperately thirsty in hospital while waiting for a delayed operation – is to be reviewed. Mark Stuart spent five days in agony and died following a catalogue of failings by NHS staff.
It’s four years since Richard and Janet Stuart scattered their son’s ashes at his favourite swimming spot at Windermere, Cumbria. “I feel so guilty that I didn’t raise the roof,” says Richard. “I just sit on the end of the jetty and say, ‘I’m sorry, Mark.'”

As with failure to place a glass of water near the hand of a dehydrated senior, more money for ‘retraining’ staff incapable of basic duties and supervised by diversity advisors seems doomed to failure.
I think a lot of nurses, far from being ‘angels of mercy’, are quite callous in their treatment of patients, particularly elderly patients.
I also wonder whether the need now for nurses to have a degree, creates an attitude of superiority such that they regard actual nursing to be too menial and beneath them.
The BBC and Jeremy Corbyn are misunderstood. All the BBC
wants to do is to support Jeremy Corbyn into winning the
General Election and turn the UK into a modern communist
state such as Venezuela. What can be wrong with that?
As for the film Blue. All that BBC Films wanted to show
us was what some young black men do in their spare time.
Honestly folks the BBC is trying so hard to “educate” us.
It’s about time that we succumbed to BIG BROTHER’S wishes.
Readers of this site should click on the link to see what is happening to this country under the cowardly useless incompetent Tories whose book of lies they call a manifesto is only going to make the country a worse place.
Of course the BBC are not going to be reporting this kind of thing going on.
It is clear to everyone that Labour can’t win and neither can the Lib Dem’s so now we have prominent Remainers given a platform by the BBC to advise Remainers to vote for whoever can stop Brexit. Only three weeks these same folks and the BBC tried to convince us that this election was about all sorts of things other than Brexit. That distraction ploy has failed spectacularly and now they are once again showing their true colours , Stop Brexit At Any Cost.
I hope that when this ploy fails too and we Leave we do not forget nor forgive those who tried to defeat the democratic process.
Hundreds of MPs who promised one thing to their constituents but did another, and of course the unlamented ex Speaker.
The judges in the Supreme Court ( a Blair fabrication) who politicised the judiciary
The BBC whose propaganda for the EU has been brazen and sustained.
The House of Lords whose virulent opposition to Brexit has been shocking.
Many celebs, notably Geldof , who have been ridiculous in their opposition to Brexit.
The Civil Service whose traitorous attachment to Brussels has been a major plank of the Remain resistance.
I’m sure that there are many other institutions and members of the establishment who merit being remembered for their anti democratic actions but these are groups that immediately spring to mind. I know that if we leave Boris et al will be preaching to us that we must be generous in victory and that the country must be brought together etc etc . But to me the scars left by the Remainers contempt for democracy run deep and I want retribution and for the supremacy of democracy to be reinforced by examples being made of those who dare to flout it.
Saw an interesting article online Guardian and reported BBC website..
Chinese (tourists and French Chinese) attacked in France by French nationals …apparently because they are thought to carry large amounts of cash and not fight back.
It took me a while to find a more honest article (Independent)that highlights it is North African ‘French’ nationals/immigrants doing the attacking.
BBC and Guardian – disingenuous as usual..Now if it was white far right.. we know how they would have been described
The main interview about anti semitism in the Corbyn Party doesn’t feature a front bencher ( during an election campaign ) but they put up an old friend of Corbyn – comrade baron dubbs .
I remember comrade baron dubbs from his time as a far left MP – he lost his safe seat and got put in the lords – if you look at wiki. You’ll see he’s regularly got his snout in the trough at the age of 86 .
Nice friendly interview with Robinson . Strange that chakrabati hasn’t found the time for interview since she is not looking for a constituency and is a peer for life .
I’m actually shocked at how easy a ride comrade dubbs got . I shouldn’t be but it does show how biased the BBC is toward Labour . Image the treatment of a Tory in such circumstances .
Big day for Dawn Butler launching some nonsense about equality today – popcorn time ….
Labour’s ‘Emancipation Educational Trust’ will teach in all schools how evil the British empire is and make your children feel loathing for themselves and their ancestors.
The BBC had a similar theme a few weeks ago with a young rapper in Bristol who hated his own race/culture and bathed himself in voluntary flagellation on behalf of his white historical ancestors cheered on by ‘diversity champions’.
There is a concerted effort to deny and demote our culture to our own Children for the sake of some Liberal ideological experiment and the BBC is complicit.
I love history, but it’s a subject that has been use as a political tool for generations to brainwash and deny truth to our Children. Never more so that this current generation, and that sinister reality will get infinitely worse under this English hating communist and his acolytes at the BBC.
Venutius
“Labour’s ‘Emancipation Educational Trust’ will teach in all schools how evil the British empire is and make your children feel loathing for themselves and their ancestors. ”
Its being going on in our education system for years.
An empire that has a commonwealth of 53 nations that still want to be associated with an “Evil” GB?
53 is not a bad record compared with all the other empires that the so called educationalists never mention.
I agree Taffman. I have children, I see it every day. It’s not so much what they are taught, it’s how it’s taught and what’s omitted. The agenda is obvious and has red flags all over it.
The reality is our education establishment is a liberal cult and the the acceleration of this bastardised history will accelerate inexorably under this Man. His London Labour ideology will be projected onto your child.
“General election 2019: Lifelong Tories should back Lib Dems, says Heseltine” https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2019-50555146

I think I heard that wealthy ex Tory saying just withdraw a50 – he doesn’t even do the pre text about another ( fixed ) referendum .
Funny how Today has rolled out 2 octogenarians – he and Alf Dubbs who are both in the Lords and both unelected . Both Remainer traitors and both past their sell by date .
The BBC has noticeably avoided anyone supporting the chief rabbis view .
R4 – reporting about poor old Academic staff…well as somebody involved with Universities – none of these people are poorly paid for what they do…and they have pension plans private people can only dream of..
Moaning about these short term contracts – well one of my friends loves hers, as she said – it is much better than being FT – the pay rate is higher. She is ex private sector and laughs about how easy it is in Academia
“General Election 2019: Scotland would ‘seek a way back in’ to EU” https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2019-50545372
The SNP would be calling for another independence referendum Brexit or no Brexit. They want a referendum to be held every year until they win .
“An independent Scotland could rejoin the EU on a “relatively quick” timescale, Nicola Sturgeon has said.”
There’s that operative word “Could” again. Much more important is the word ‘would’ . Can the EU support an Independent Scotland given the financial loss the EU would take when Great Britain leaves the ‘European Empire’ ?
Would The EU allow Scotland to join their new ‘Empire’?
It is up to the Scottish people if they wish to vote for independence. They then would be free to re-apply for membership of the EU.
However, what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If they reject independence, there should then be a binding referendum held in England, Wales and Northern Ireland only, in which the rest of the population have a say on whether Scotland is allowed to remain a part of the UK.

I have read that article already. Just bias really. No one challenging the claims of course and just another push to weaken the Tories. The polls are starting to narrow as floating voters are being lured towards Labour. The BBC know what they are doing
Anyone looked up that figure Corbyn keeps throwing around – I did and even the people who wrote the report admit it depends on how you define poverty..
So they reckon nearly 20% of the population is in poverty!!! Do me favour – I see some of these poverty stricken people come into the NHS with Iphones, nice shiny new nails, having just been on holiday overseas with all the family –
I must have been less than poverty stricken when I was a kid….lived in a shoe box on side of grass verge 🙂
I once typed slums on on google and you see loads of pictures of slums in India, Africa or even South America.
Look for slums in Britain and you get a picture of a UK housing estate which usually has green spaces around it and a news report of someone attacked and filmed on a mobile phone…
On Toady, Beeb’s Justin Webb has tried very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very hard to persuade Sinn Fein to take their seats in parliament, in order to help block Brexit.
Connor Murphy of Sinn Fein wouldn’t have any of it.
So much for reporting and commenting on the news in an impartial manner.
Webb needs to be sacked. Lord Hall?

Just one less email being sent per day could reduce the UK’s carbon footprint by 16,000 tonnes a year, that’s according to new research which suggests we send too many unnecessary emails. Do you agree? Would you cut back? #BBCWorklifehttps://t.co/YV6zoeGItZ@SallyBundockBBC
Could you cut back on your emails? Climate campaigners say we should “think before we thank” on email and cut back on unnecessary messages. This would significantly reduce the energy used. What do you think? Get in touch #BBCTheBriefingpic.twitter.com/VYd7SrJZTM
I suspect that sending an email or not makes no difference or at least no difference of consequence as all the infrastructure is running 24/7, as they say.
However the amount of electrical energy needed to run the internet should be of concern to the ‘climate change’ faithful. Five years ago EdF were estimating it at 10% in the UK and it must be more by now.
And what is burning it up? Vital business or cat videos and BBC iPlayer/Sounds?
Toady also wheeled on ‘refugee importer’ Lord Dubbs, to whitewash Labour’s Antisemitism, and say they’re just a wee bit slow, and Jeremy’s really a nice fellow, and no- Labour aren’t really THAT anti-Semitic. Vague, very vague on the 130 reported cases of antisemitism still to be resolved in the Labour Party.
Merely ‘a humble Labour backbencher in the Lords’ he says. Doesn’t know too much.
We noticed.
Beeb really getting desperate?
Toady had to mention Heseltine, saying: ‘Don’t vote Tory. Independent or LimpDumb instead’.
We know Heseltine is an EU enthusiast.
So he is also an admirer of Jo Swinson.
There is no fool…
BBC fave #1degreeofseparation medium gets excited about silent majorities and democracy.
Given HK is an indefensible pimple on the butt end of a vast military regime nowhere near the EU’s diverse army, one might be a bit nervous about what the population knew they were voting for.
I am starting to question the relationship between Labour and the BBC. Is there something going on behind closed doors? A small (or at least small in Labour terms) bribe coming from somewhere and a secret handshake?
Surly with the amount of bias going on there has to be more than just a preference for the left. The BBC are very actively trying to get Labour elected.
The thing is with Labour’s plans it means a tax on inheritance among other things (no challenge from the BBC)
For some people that is the only chance they get on paying their mortgage and so this tax will hurt the working class. Alright for overpayed BBC drones with their nice big properties but some people just don’t get a chance.
So much for Labour being ‘the party of the working class’
smoogie – this is really the problem with the bbc. It is trading on former glories, has kept its right to extort moneys with menaces, and remains a law unto itself. People still think it does news and comment when what actually does is manipulation (witness Justin Webb’s desperate attempt to get Sinn Fein back into parliament on Toady, as merely one of countless examples) and propaganda.
Its really the relentless propaganda, trying hard to support all the social engineering that is in progress, that gets on one’s nerves.
The thing is it is the floating voters who swing elections. These are the people that the BBC are trying to get. Undecided people who need to be scared about big bad Johnson into voting for nice and generous old Corbyn.
It is the same with the anti Brexit bias. They are not just trying to mock leave voters but are preparing for a potential second referendum. With three years of people then under 18 now able to vote and a number of people who might have changed their minds and those who did not vote before but might vote now the anti Brexit bias has been left on full blast to try and swing it if it ever happens.
Of course Labour are hinting at a second referendum so if you swing people to vote Labour now then you could push them to vote remain later.
The BBC would prefer the Lib Dem’s instant revoke but as the Lib Dems won’t win but Labour do still have a chance then they are behind Labour.
The programme carried an item about a specific research about a manufacturing leftover, no, not unemployed Unionised workers (Yooni Lecturer sigh of relief) but something going to waste and ending up as landfill.
The brewing industry discards its by-product, spent spelt and unused grains and research is being undertaken into what can be done with it.
A researcher at the Uni explains that burning it is carbon neutral, notwithstanding the release of CO2 and pollutants, because the grain has absorbed CO2 while growing. To my mind, that is stretching the definition of carbon-neutral but what do I know? I was taught science in ‘the old days’.
The politicians, in a bid to appease the Climate Alarmists (all over today’s TOADY, before I was awake, apparently) will seize on things like that in order to reach the mythical and impossible Carbon Net-Zero.
I have posted on here before: it will not be long before we are back to burning coal and, in Ireland, peat in order to keep warm, keep the lights on and trains & vehicles moving.
The argument that since “The brewing industry discards its by-product, spent spelt and unused grains” burning it is CO2
That would be true
.. but I 100% doubt the waste is discarded
..more likely it is used for pig and cow feed
and some is composted and goes out as fertiliser or even to fuel biogas power stations.
That is like saying that when Drax burns good wood it is carbon neutral. It’s not true cos you have got system where wood used in physical products acts as a carbon sink, so burning that wood increases the CO2 output of the system.
In the case of beer byproduct system if you burn waste, that means you have to plant more grain elsewehere to feed pigs and cattle.
This isn't hard. If you're frustrated by two deeply flawed parties, there is a proper alternative. A party led by a young, internationalist, progressive woman who will stop Brexit and take action on the climate crisis. I'll be voting for @joswinson and the @LibDems
‘Internationalism’ seems to be an obsession of those who indulge in heavy networking for personal gain, whether they be politicians or beeboid ‘historians’.
I saw him too Not Gwent, I had the misfortune of walking in on that hateful liberal magazine programme Sunday Brunch on Channel 4. With it being Christmas, Dan (only famous as he’s the son of “I’ve never seen so many white people” Jon) Snow was selling his book. It’s a look at the entirety of human history from the Iron Age to the present day. I doubt it was a coincidence that I entered the room as he was criticising President Trump and commenting on Brexit. So there you have it from the author’s mouth, a book covering nearly 3000 years of human history……Trump bad, Brexit. It goes without saying that even without reading the book I predict it will be less balanced historical document and more left leaning revisionism of history. It also goes without saying that it won’t be going on my Christmas list.
I think you are confusing Jon and Peter Snow. Dan is the son of Peter, but is in some way related to the even-handed and supremely impartial Jon.
Clearly, Dan ticks all the right BBC boxes.
If you don’t, you suddenly find your show has been cancelled (Bellamy style) or you don’t get any work from your fellow luvvies.
We hear people in certain organisations who have said things that offend the PC Righteous apologise and submit to further training in “equality” etc. Same thing although, I would hope, less brutal here than in Socialist China.

Paid for by taxing the top 5% “just a little bit more”
Labour will double the NHS budget.
Paid for by taxing the top 5% “just a little bit more”
Free gas, water and electricity for all supplied from windmills, waves and sunshine at a cost of £150billion.
Paid for by taxing the top 5% “just a little bit more”

Bravo EG – another one of those cover all’s for anything a politician of any type claims – “ people on the doorstep have been telling me ….” it would take a brave Comrade Corbyn disciple to knock on any door in my area …..probably because people get up early in the morning and go to work ….
And as for these ‘victims ‘ of equality who happen to be wimmin – what about me ? I thought I’d get a pension at 65 … now it’s pushed back to 68? – by the time I get there it will probably be 70- maybe I should find someone to blame . ?

The BBC News at Six –

“BBC Films, which was involved in the venture, also defended it.”

Yet this ‘significant under-representation’ and glaringly obvious ethnicity component to the story yielded not a single mention in the BBC report.

I think a lot of nurses, far from being ‘angels of mercy’, are quite callous in their treatment of patients, particularly elderly patients.
I also wonder whether the need now for nurses to have a degree, creates an attitude of superiority such that they regard actual nursing to be too menial and beneath them.

However, what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If they reject independence, there should then be a binding referendum held in England, Wales and Northern Ireland only, in which the rest of the population have a say on whether Scotland is allowed to remain a part of the UK.

BBC News has found some white, blonde people to ‘report’ upon…
***
“They discriminate against us because they don’t like what we do for a living.”
***
In a shock discovery, there are no porn stars of color, as they are all in dfs and Lidl ads.
Apparently.

Meanwhile, the BBC could be seen as impartial.

The BBC are all over him. Anything to try and get Labour in

I have read that article already. Just bias really. No one challenging the claims of course and just another push to weaken the Tories. The polls are starting to narrow as floating voters are being lured towards Labour. The BBC know what they are doing

Does the Resolution Foundation’s report actually say that relative child poverty could reach a 60-year high of 34% by 2023-4 ? I can’t find it.

Lord Hall?

A £5,000,000,000 pr and promo budget will do that.
Especially when backed by editorial by omission and attack ads disguised as “quotes” from invited guests.

No wonder Labour has explicitly guaranteed the BBC its lucrative future… and is seeing the returns on this billion £ commitment already.

Now when do you hear that said on the BBC?

smoogie – this is really the problem with the bbc.

TOADY Watch #2 – We will be back to burning coal
