The MSM clearly is desperate. And will try anything.

Not entirely convinced a majority population UK is going to be impressed by a naked attempt to equate an ethnic dead guy ceremony with looking after a kid.

Maybe Sky should run a poll?

All day the tv channels have been trying their utmost to get Dominic Cummings sacked.

EVERY person they’ve had on to comment on this has been anti Cummings and I’ve not heard any commentator supporting him.

Even the sky 2 person interview where you get two different viewpoints argued had 2 on who wanted him gone. Some little lefty and the usually sensible JHB who wants him gone.

The left (liblabmsm) are terrified of Cummings and of course they want brexit reversed so they are going all out to finish him off.

I think DC has far more support than the msm think and this is yet another case of them misreading the people.

Let’s have a clap for Dominic on Thursday at 8. Just stand outside and we can assume you’re clapping to support The DOM.

It is really bad out there at the moment. I am in quite a few groups as the moment and I have raised a concern about an illegal ‘rave’ that was mentioned in the Express (the green loving millennials left all their rubbish everywhere) and now everyone is shrieking about Cummings.

6pm Radio 4 Saturday. I only switched on whilst peeling the carrots, Of course they were in full flow about Dominic. They then explained that the North East was having the most Covid cases at the moment and reminded everyone that Dom’s parents live in Durham. So they someone out onto the streets to ask them what they thought of Dom’s trip. I would guess most people don’t know who he is. But if it is as breezy as it is where I am, I could guess that 2 metres might not be enough when social distancing and the BBC could be putting the people of Durham at risk. I don’t know if the reporter was local, otherwise the BBC are doing the same as Dom. But I really don’t care for the BBC’s gotcha moment. How long ago was Dom’s trip? At the very best this is stale news.

Forget about the awful Beeb’s tawdry screeching about Dominic, Debs, how did you have your carrots, ‘Julienne’, or ‘waffer-thin mint’?

These facts are much more important than a wasteful, tax-funded bunch of weak lefties, all trying to dribble everywhere!

We like carrots raw, and have three large buckets, sown at intervals, so that we have a succession of tiny roots, probably until October, but a September sowing also produces a great supply over the winter.

And don’t forget, keep the buckets up at least two ft off the ground, as the carrot fly doesn’t normally get to that height to lay its grubs, which unfortunately tunnel down and make the root inedible after a time! Bit like Momentum really…

Now isn’t that much more important than the squeals of the passive, shallow idiots in W1AA!

    Worldometer check
Mexico topped daily deaths today AND has a rising death pattern built in for next 3 weeks
Brazil seems to be even worse 20,000 new cases each day today could turn into THOUSANDS of deaths PER DAY in 3 weeks time
Chile possible high hundreds of deaths built in and rising
    India’s in a rising phase
In fact a lot of countries are still in a rising phase
as if they are all not getting on top of it.
A lot of unnoticed small countries could be heading to big problems.

Europe is in a downward phase. LIke Belgium is on top of it.
Spain had a strange one day blip, some kinds of stats correction

Russia’s numbers are suspicious like how can 10K cases result in only 150 deaths unless they are somehow detecting every mild case ?

      Qatar is off the scale

Maybe we have a lot more testing and are detecting a lot of mild cases

Maybe it would be better – since Sky has sent a list of questions to Mr Shapps that – overnight they send back replies to the questions and save time with the ‘live ‘ interview –
That way they can save everyone who bothers watching daytime tv 10 minutes or so in their lives as Sophie tries out her ‘gotcha’ technique .

Tonight the independent has released footage of Mr Cummings taking a child’s cycle from his home and putting it in his car whilst surrounded at close quarters by about a dozen ‘journalists ‘ not practicing social distancing ….

      It’s all about stopping Brexit

Perhaps the BBC thinks that by forcing Cummings out their future will be more secure . I think this would be the biggest misread they could possibly make

The other piece in the chess game is the PM – whom the MSM are trying to force to make a statement – which they will claim will be false and attempt to force him out too .

The MSM uses false emotion – compassion – when it wants – like foreign NHS staff getting free services only 2 days ago .

But 2 men who have both recently suffered from a serious illness are now in the process of being shredded. Is there any real surprise that there is so much Hate about ,…..?

PS – on Twitter – that giant of journalism and a liar – piers Morgan – has declared that he has ‘banned’ all government ministers Who expressed support for Mr Cummings , his wife and child , from appearing on his show –

I used to ponder with quiet satisfaction that I never thought that Brits would do as Johnny Frog did in their tadpole millions, and denounce others. In Vichy France it was anonymous letters to the vile Nazis, sometimes out of spite, sometimes for reward. There are vaults, in Lyon I believe, containing millions of denunciations to the Nazis. Successive French governments have declined to open them, pour crainte.

Here in the UK today the vile, Commufascist Left and their gutless screeching twatter followers are trying to usurp a legitimate government with lies and false denunciations.

I’ve long been disgusted with the conduct of the Left and Leftoids; I’m now ashamed of these sub-humans and of most of this country.

The intended victim was called Patel.

On the news the BBC refuse to name the five arrested suspects. It appears from other sources that names such as John Smith do not appear in the list.

The BBC then give fulsome coverage of thecdead girl’s funeral. It is held in a town in ……..South Lebanon !!!!!

And it would show the utter arrogance of those in power who think the rules they impose on the rest of us don’t apply to them. The one good thing would be if it contributes to this lockdown madness falling apart before the damage becomes even greater.

    From ITN News:

The force’s updated statement read: “Following a significant number of media inquiries over the weekend, Durham Constabulary can add the following detail.

“On Tuesday, March 31, our officers were made aware that Dominic Cummings had travelled from London to Durham and was present at an address in the city.

“At the request of Mr Cummings’ father, an officer made contact the following morning by telephone.

“During that conversation, Mr Cummings’ father confirmed that his son had travelled with his family from London to the North East and was self-isolating in part of the property.

“Durham Constabulary deemed that no further action was required. However, the officer did provide advice in relation to security issues.”

How come every Tom, Dick, Mohamed and Tracy refuses to tell anyone about anything on the basis of ‘data protection’ yet the Durham Boys-in-blue can blab and name someone i.e. Mr Cummings Snr. who is subject to no police action whatsover, and, even if he was, it would be normal to say “A man is helping us with our enquiries”?

Yet more evidence that we have Political Police now.

    1. Given the way police officers all around the world have been hanging around in gangs they must surely be dropping like flies by now? (Ditto supermarket workers: I heard a group of three of them complaining that customers didn’t keep their distance!)

    2. If an over-loaded ‘RIB’ needs rescuing once it is in UK waters why doesn’t it need rescuing while it is within French waters? Does the French navy have lower (EU) standards that our ‘Border Force’? (PS What happens to the RIB and all the life jackets? Does the Border Force deliver them back to France?)

    3. Who is Domminic Cummings? Didn’t he used to present Newsnight or perhaps he won ‘Strictly’? Should I care? If Amol does, probably not.

If its true that Cummings has made subsequent trips to his parents during lockdown, as opposed to just the one, then he really must be finished. It is high time we stopped allowing the media (and Twitter) to hound people out of their jobs.

We should believe in and practice ‘equality under the law’. If the (illegal) law has been broken then prosecute him just like (or not) anyone else.

The legal process has rules that should apply to everyone, i.e. ‘due process’, ‘trial by media’ has no rules and each taste of blood just encourages their lust for more.

The BBC has been doing the ‘noun as an adjective’ for decades, (but it still grates!).

We have the ‘Scotland’ correspondent and the ‘England’ team. The excuse is that when an adjective is used it isn’t clear to what it applies, i.e. does the correspondent report on Scotland or was he born there.

Of course that difficulty can be avoided by using the proper form instead of the bastardised titles that ‘the media’ delights in, ‘Defence minister’ rather than ‘Secretary of State for Defence’ for instance.

Eventually we end up with In The Thick Of It-speak, “Shit shit, shit shit shit.”, which is actually a sentence containing nouns, adjectives and verbs.

The one that really grates with me is “Brit”, I hate it, it is lazy and now used by the MSM. British is two syllables, not too onerous I would suggest.

Also, “Brit” is often used as a derogatory term by Pakis (proper word four syllables, so IMHO an acceptable contraction).

And of course, the ubiquitous bleeding “bruv” and “innit” used so many illiterates, but again intially from our dusky friends.

This Leftoid bint said what message did Cummins’ actions give to the public at large, totally oblivious to the fact that apart from Cummins’ parents neighbour who initially dobbed him in to Durham plod, wtf else knew before Grauniad/Crack’d puffed up the story so who could be influenced? We’ve already seen far more serious breaches of the lockdown and they chose to ignore Kinnochio’s peregrinations to Taffland to visit his greedy parents.

I’ve just wasted half a minute having a brief look at the BBBC’s ‘website’ (more like a freebie ad thing, stuck through your door by ex-Big Issue people), and see that all they’ve done is re-hash the garbage from all the leftie, failing rags.

On their monstrous wages, can’t they even try to get with the story by their own efforts? Maybe ask a few questions, make a few enquiries?

What a shower of wasters we have to support – especially about a non-story which is already as boring as the boring unfunny ‘comedy’ shows they try and cobble together.

Listening to the news this morning a couple of things nudged my attention button.
They interviewed Britain’s oldest Covid survivor, a lady of 107 (I think)
“Were you worried?” asked the breathless bimbo reporter. “No” replied the game old bird. “I didn’t know I had it. I just felt a bit uncomfortable…and I thought had a cold…”

In the very next piece, another clearly worried journalist, brought us the news that the vaccine for this terrifying virus may be delayed. Why? Because there are now so few new sufferers there aren’t sufficient numbers to test it on…

And just to finish off we had the now obligatory warning. It’s the bank holiday weekend, the weather is going to be nice, but what ever you do, don’t travel, stay at home, stay alert, stay safe…

FFS, is it just me that thinks we’re now living in a nut house?

apparently there’s precious little social distancing going on there

of course one sympathises with the family’s loss and is quite sure on their return to the UK official quarantine advice will be rigorously adhered to and authorities and indeed media will scrutinise closely and intervene with admonishment and fines should there be even the most minor transgression. You reckon?

To further my reply to above here is a Daily Mail story that we are not seeing from the BBC:

‘Coronavirus pandemic could be over in the UK by September 30: Scientific model predicts virus will continue its steady decline with NO second wave’

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8351237/Coronavirus-completely-wiped-Britain-September-30.html

Take it with a pinch of salt and it is likely the virus might stick around a while longer undetected but are the government doing something right? I think that they are but where is the pro government news stories these days?

Do they not want to give the government the chance to inform the nation that things could be going back to normal or does that not fit the agenda?

The high profile resignations due to lockdown violations were valid as the people themselves were responsible for the advice. Professor Trousersdown and Lady Scottishperson were breaking rules they themselves helped devise.
For others the situation is different. An average employer with an option of sacking someone for gross misconduct is unlikely I suggest to use an arguable lockdown breach on one of his employees.
Cummings may or may not have sailed very close to the wind on the rules and would be pretty stupid to have done so. But if for a valid family reason then he may have recourse to the Human Rights Act (privacy and family life) and, if not a key maker of this particular policy, then a fair case at an employment tribunal.

What we have here is the baying mob of the Left, aided and abetted of course by its BBC chums, and after some weeks of relative inaction, trying to politicise the situation and seizing a chance to weaken and de-stabilise the government. Pure and simple.

I don’t have a problem with the BBC covering the Cummings story. He might indeed have been a hypocrite, or he might have just been acting as a good dad, but it remains a sideshow while the rest of the world is coping with a pandemic crisis.
What I do have a problem with is that the BBC has been treating it as the biggest story in the world for two days now – while it cannot be arsed to cover the amazing drop in covid cases in our capital city, or provide more than a passing reference to the anniversary of the Manchester Arena bombing, or get its teeth into the latest on the grooming gangs scandal.
When one day we eventually look back at this global crisis, will a potentially dodgy car journey by a Government adviser really be what we all talk about? I doubt it.
Dodgy scientific modelling, dodgy Chinese markets, the impact of open borders and international travel, the politicisation of lockdown – these are things we might be much more concerned about.

I nearly forgot about the Manchester attacks the other day until someone shared it on Facebook. The sad thing is that attack was politicised itself during the 2017 GE. ‘Police cuts lead to this attack’ but when it was proven that the local hospitals coped well with the situation there was no point in point scoring.

Compare that to the coverage of Grenfell. For a couple of years now we have had people coming back to that incident and when Corbyn put out his desperate plea for votes on Twitter before the 2019 GE was it Grenfell victims he wanted people to vote for or Manchester victims?

      Manchester? What Manchester?

Not the BBC but Mail on Sunday on line. Not only did Dom make a second trip but he also went for a walk in a bluebell wood with HIS wife. The shock, the horror. Mr D pointed out it wasn’t even somebody else’s wife. He also saw yesterday the press at Mr C’s gate not practicing social distancing and apparently the BBC did not blank out his number plate even though there was a child in the car.

If you are going to be holier than thou, then you need to show it.

But of course it is all about Brexit. Who leaked the story of him going north in the first place? A pro Remainer in No10 I guess.

Comedy gold on Andrew Marr this Morning. The stand-up comedian Tony Hall, was invited in.

Some direct quotes for your delectation …

“One of the strengths of the BBC is it represents the nations of the UK. Diversity of thought is one of our strengths.” My cornflakes left my mouth at this point. ????

“½ of the BB is outside London so I don’t accept it’s metropolitan bias.” Genuine jaw drop, more cornflakes lost.

So Tony, A smaller BBC is a better BBC? The closest he got was….“A BBC that is certainly not expansionist.” So…no then!

“90% of the population have turned to the BBC for education/information and news.”… I’d love to see the data behind this claim! Not sure ‘turning to’ is essentially positive. I ‘turn to’ the BBC like I used to turn to Tony Benn. It solidified my position against.

License fee subscriptions have fallen, recently. Could you comment? “I hope there will be a big debate on funding the BBC. But, I will say, the BBC has to provide something for everyone. The COVID crisis has demonstrated the need for the BBC.” Spin is clearly not the preserve of politicians…

But I’ve saved the best till last…”Young audiences have been coming back to the BBC and finding the BBC….” ????

Following on from my comment yesterday on the vile Dr Louise Raw (expert on Colonialism, Gender, Sexuality, Sexual Violence and Women), our establishment is increasingly distant and irrelevant to many of us.

I think, however, once figures become widely comedic. The show’s over.

I did post here some time ago that Al Beeb and the meeja would weaponise ‘Covid’ in the Brexit Battle .

Cummings remaining in or out of his job has got nothing to do with Brexit . The People voted for Brexit and along with UKIP, it was The Brexit Party that led the way to freedom. Just remember that the dominant British Party that represented Great Britain in the so called European Parliament was indeed The Brexit Party.

The best way forward for Brexiteers now is to weaponise every means possible in the war against Al Beeb and the meeja, turn the people against the ‘London Bubble’ .
Start by calling for the payment of the Television Licence fee voluntary .
Then we will see how ‘good’ Al Beeb is?

Peter …. and when Shapps tried to discuss what is, after all, his brief, Marr just pushed that aside burbling something about ‘later’ and continued with the completely repetitive questioning of Cummings.

At the end of the interview, Marr ‘apologised’ for not getting on to discussing transport at all with the Transport Minister – a fundamental re-building block in the infrastructure of the country post-pandemic, and surely what he was originally asked to be on the show to discuss.

I also noticed, during Radio Four’s hourly news brief this morning (I think the 9:00 am one), that the Beeboid newsreader went into great detail of the history of Cummings’ trip to Durham, but any mention of Cummings’ 4-year-old son was simply airbrushed out of the history. Then Marr, with Grant Shapps, tried exactly the same approach as well. It looks as though the BBC has decided what the ‘real’ situation is here, and nothing will be allowed to impinge on their version of ‘The Story’.
