Sometimes the BBC helps in its own journey to destruction …
A columnist in thr Mailonline describes the dire New Year / brexit coverage –
More precisely – that with a lot of the UK stuck in front of the TV it treated the occasion as a traditional ‘poor telly ‘night where few are watching because the majority are out ‘hogmanaying’ or whatever ….
And the stuff that was on was woke crap or repeated films . Good news for those plotting to bring the BBC down .

Guest – I don’t think I have seen or heard either of these TV comedy royalty but if their act involves ‘jokes ‘ about cancer or covid I’m sure the BBC will fund them and give them the circuit of HYGotnews … just a minute …. news quiz … their own game show at 530pm ….. whilst they make money asking for just £3 a week to save this cat / bear / dog / donkey / coloured kid ….

Who the hell would want to hear from someone called ‘nish ‘?

Feel as though you’ve just sacrificed a year of your life?

Not to worry, you can say farewell to 2020, here’s 2021: ‘This is the year we WILL defeat covid!’ – that’s the PM quoted in the Sunday Express. I thought that was last year? Oh well, hunker down for another one, folks.

Mystic Meg returned to the Sun yesterday with her predictions for your love life. I think I can paraphrase – you may as well put away those crystal balls, they’ll be gathering dust for another twelve months.

As for today: ‘Russell Grant predicts your financial future’ (Express) – well, since our Rishi has apparently gone missing, we may as well ask our cuddly Russell how long the banks can go on buying government debt, and at what point quantitative easing will inflate the asset bubble to a crisis point?

But I expect Russell will dodge Modern Monetary Theory and say something along the lines of: “For those of you dreaming of someone special and new to come into your lives, I’m afraid three eclipses on the horizon mean you’ll remain Virgo. Those of you with Cancer, especially those under Uranus, do please seek expert advice and please don’t be dismayed when your doctor tells you to Pisces off – he’s probably a dark stranger, maybe an Aquarian in search of his own new life, just arrived from overseas and has difficulty with foreign languages. Do open a new window in your life and show him your new moon.”

‘Carol Vorderman I would hate to share my life with someone’ (Sunday Telegraph) – I’ve just done the maths, luv. You’ve no worries on that front.

And from that bit of nonsense to the sub-header in the Express: ‘NHS first health service in world to deliver vaccine’ – they mean the first private pharmaceutical labs to develop a vaccine, have had their formula waived through safety checks in double quick time and purchased speculatively at great expense by the government. The NHS being something of a bystander in this process. Now our sainted NHS is about to do what it does best – make a pig’s ear of the distribution: ‘Postcode lottery for life-saving jab’ (Sunday Times)

‘Greta at 18: Fly if you like, I won’t judge you’ (Sunday Times) – a timely concession by the climate campaigner, with Davos coming up in May. Plus yet another big climate change conference to jet off to.

‘Greta Thunberg has given up buying new clothes, preferring to borrow them or use second-hand shops’ – I seem to recall Jarvis Cocker from the band Pulp was another pioneer of charity shop chic. You know Pulp, they had a song about the “Common People”.

The Telegraph’s frontpage pinup is not our peculiar Scandinavian doom merchant in borrowed vest and trackie bottoms you’ll see in the Times, but a fashion model in a rather more ludicrous get up: ‘A model showcases Pierre Garroudi’s latest collection during the designer’s flash mob fashion show in Sloane Square London’ – for all I know Pierre Garroudi could be the Spurs new signing at right back. Careful, son, the cops will likely nick you for that “flash mob”. In case you were wondering, the light-skinned black model has a lot of blue glitter face paint around her eyes and sports a triangular basketwork pirate’s hat with two pale blue pompoms sown on. Is Pierre four years old? Just noticed that hat – it is actually an upside-down straw shopping basket; I can see the handles by her ears. Wear that get up in your high street and at least when you go into Sainsburys you’ll always be able to say “no plastic bag, thank you, I’ve brought my own bag, it’s on my head”

Chaps, all is not lost. Your chances with Carol Vorderman may equal the square root of zero but we do have a hero of sorts: ‘Lockdown love exclusive. Jet ski romeo: my story’ (Sunday Mirror) – this is the bloke (the ‘lovelorn roofer’) who attempted to jet ski to the Isle of Man (despite covid) to hook up with his girlfriend: ‘4-hour battle with 6ft waves. I felt like crappy James Bond’ – don’t be so hard on yourself, mate. The real crappy James Bond will be the next but one in the franchise.

Anyway the story is not so exclusive as you can also read it in the Sunday Star.

Meanwhile in the Star: ‘Showbiz exclusive Mammy’s in the Brown stuff. Star faces legal action from SECOND show actor. Crisis as ratings slide to lowest in TEN YEARS’ – oh dear, if the BBC still can’t scoop the ratings even with the pubs, clubs, cinemas and theatres shut…

The Sunday Times gives up on statistical data and prefers anecdotal story telling from a: ‘Covid nurse… the patients are getting younger’ – It’s just your age, luv. I find that phenomenon with police officers. Start to worry when high court judges appear to look younger.

‘Head teachers call for GCSEs and A-levels to be scrapped this summer’ (Times) – what to make of this headline? Perhaps we’re living in a parallel universe where some errant schoolboy grabbed the magic monkey’s paw and got his greatest wish fulfilled. A notion further implied by the Sunday Mirror headline: ‘Teachers poised to walk out’

Children have forgone a vital year of their education. They may have postcode lottery jab prospects, but their future job prospects are diminished. National debt has been stacked so high the children of our children will still be repaying it. Hospital waiting lists are now so long that should you have a health condition the best advice is to grin and bear it. Small businesses have been crushed leaving only the big corporates standing. A year of sacrifice on the dubious, easily-overwhelmed alter of our sainted NHS…

Feel as though you’ve just sacrificed a year of your life? Hold tight, here we go again.

AISI, thanks for that. Can you use your influence to get the BBC to put the pic of the front page of The Observer up on their web-site? It is missing again although copies must have reached someone at the BBC as the Blog refers to The Observer.

Perhaps there was something too awful on the front page that the BBC did not want us to see. Perhaps a headline: ‘No significant trouble at ports after Brexit’ ?

Mind you, that pic of Greta is scary enough. Is the poor mite being given puberty blocking drugs?

When the exorcists of the BBC cancelled ‘Britain’ and decided that anything that smacked of Britishness must be banished and excised from the Proms Tim Davie leapt to the rescue and reinstated the ‘hatefilled tunes that had so many uncomfortable echoes of white supremacy’….general hurrahs all round as politicians and the media cheered him on!

Now some might cyncally suggest that this was all a bit too convenient and that the BBC orchestrated the ‘crisis’ [not that it doesn’t want to cancel ‘Britain’] at a time when the BBC was under enormous scrutiny and pressure for blatant bias in its programming and on social media. A perfect time then for a new DG to step in and make a huge statement that caught the headlines as he so publicly battled the relentless BBC bias and stamped down on rogue employees on Twitter and the cosy left-wing comedy cabal that is the BBC.

Looking on at the present and you might agree with that cynical view that it was all smoke and mirrors designed to get the politicians off their back for a while. How can it be that BBC programming is not less but relentlessly more biased, one-sided and proscriptive and that BBC employees have actually ramped up their left-wing commenting on social media? Tim Davie where are you now as the BBC celebrates a marxist terror group spreading racist hate and fear but doesn’t broadcast ‘Auld Lang Syne’ at New Year?

How is it that Maitlis still presides over one of the BBC’s flagship political programmes when she has been caught out numerous times using it as a vehicle for her own toxic and prejudiced views?
BBC comedy still relentlessly pours out a diet of left-wing tripe targeting Trump, Cummings and of course Brexit…..Our exit from the EU has hardly been greeted with any joy or positivity by the BBC….far from any positive expression that the wishes and views of one of the biggest democratic votes this country has ever seen have been fulfilled the BBC has avoided any ‘celebration’ of that and instead has launched a highly negative and petty torrent of carping and trivial criticism….based more on their own antagonism than reality…witness the ports….The BBC ramped up the fear that it would be gridlock with Kent one large lorry park…so far…everything has gone smoothly……France of course long ago told us that they had prepared for this…but the BBC downplayed or ignored that….it just wanted bad news.

This of course is the future of BBC reporting on our relationship with the EU…every little setback, delay or problem will be highlighted, magnified and whipped up into a crisis and a massive negative. All part of the long term aim of getting us back into the EU…..a few years of the BBC drip, drip, drip reporting of ‘bad news’ telling us how disastrous Brexit has been for travel, business and life in general and they hope that with that embedded in our subconsciouses we’ll vote to get back in.

The BBC does not represent ‘Britain’ or the views of the vast majority of the people….it is the mouthpiece for terrorists, marxists and racists.

On the assumption that some BBC bigwigs read what’s on this site, I’d like to ask the following:-

Have you seen Bridgerton on Netflix? Bridgerton is a big production; funny, diverse in a peculiarly good way, and very, very enjoyable. Each episode is reputed to have cost around £5m, and it shows. There is only one actor that I recognised (Jonny English’s side kick – don’t know his name). The £5m has been spent on entertaining the viewer.

Currently the BBC couldn’t afford to make a programme like this because of all its overheads. But, maybe, if it ditched all the June Sarpongs and all the middle managers and half of the 3,400 journalists and all of the other members of staff that provide no added value, then maybe it could?

Switch on the BBC at any time, day or night, any programme, any social media feed, and you will almost certainly find yourself being lectured on the oppression of Blacks, informed about white imposed historic grievances that blight their modern lives and re-educated on the terrors of white supremacy that lurk in everyday life like a minefield for Black people who have to live lives of fear expecting any second to be murdered by the police or have to come face-to-to-face with emblems of white supremacy such as statues of Churchill, white people appropriating black culture by wearing braided hair, or songs celebrating New Year.

I am astonished that Blacks even dare to walk the streets so prevalent and malevolent as the white feeling against them is….the systemic racism etched so deep into British society that it must be tremendously traumatic for any person of colour to head off to Tescos….and why oh why are there no black Smarties!!?? Every colour but black….every black child must feel so disappointed, marginalised and left out!

‘Sunday’ didn’t disappoint…reliably biased and a long-time voice for blacks and Muslims…here today combined in one as we were told how awful everything is for Black Muslims in America…thank Allah for BLM!

FOOC also didn’t disappoint as it told us Trump instructed people to inject bleach as a cure for covid19….except of course he didn’t…this has long been the standard joke for BBC comedy but here was a ‘journalist’ stating it as fact when Trump, of course, said nothing of the kind.

Naturally BLM also got an airing as we were told that the ‘pandemic’ of white police officers murdering Blacks and police ‘brutality’ in the US was worse than the covid19 pandemic….hmmmm….just an outright lie. More whites are killed by police in proportion than blacks….and police are just as brutal with whites as black [check Youtube for endless examples of whites being beaten or killed…in UK as well as US]…and many of the ‘killer cops’ are in fact black or asian….hence the BBC had to start talking about ‘Police brutality’ and not murderous white cops….at least for a while…they’re back to limiting the killings to white racist cops again.

Why should anyone be forced to pay for this relentless outpouring of lies, misinformation and toxic anti-white, anti-British, anti-American, anti-West black propaganda that is designed to demonise, smear and delegitimise ‘white’ culture and society, to erase Whites from society and history, and to make anything White seem toxic and hate-filled to be expunged and exorcised and children taught that to be white is to be guilty of so many sins that they need to atone for?

Before the switch off button was hit I tried to figure out why – if there won’t be much difference between trump and Biden – did they all hate mr trump so much ?

I was just thinking today that I don;t recall hearing anything at all in the media during the last election when Biden allegedly:
      1) Pushed a reporter up against a wall and actually entered her with his fingers. We are not talking about boasting to mates at a golf club, we are talking about something second only to actual rape.
      2) Bidens absolutely outrageous, cynical lie to curry black votes about when he met Mandella.

It’s the hypocrisy and double standards of the Left which disgust me the most. Every ethic they pretend to have is fake and will be ignored when it suits.

I would also would add that he further let us other guard down when he said he mentioned Scotland as a country far away. Boris Johnson actually got him to admit he was talking about Scotland and Marr replied that it was in fact hundreds of miles away. It is probably a different planet from Marr’s London bubble is.

Listening to the teachers consistently whingeing on it sounds like they would only be happy if all the schools were shut forever but they would be kept on holiday at full pay.
If masks work, teachers can wear masks.

Good job the rest of the population such as the supermarket workers, lorry and delivery drivers or bus drivers isn’t such a bunch of wimps.

Not surprising though as the vast majority of teachers are far left, achingly pc, miserable moaning shits.

The government are not covering themselves in glory either.
They have ‘followed the science’ as it’s been convenient for them but now are going against the science (from the 3 weeks to almost 3 months between doses plus mixing the types) as this is not convenient for them.
I wouldn’t be happy to get ‘half’ the recommended treatment but would rather wait for the course to be given properly. Replacing 2 out of 4 bald tyres on your car still leaves 2 bald tyres. In fact, having half the treatment could be worse as many might feel they are protected and behave as if they are completely safe.
Do the jabs properly and not some bodged up way.
The most vulnerable should get the two jabs within the 3 weeks and that should see the death rate plummet.
This, along with only allowing extreme pc persons to vaccinate (this 21 part form including diversity conditions and suchlike) will slowdown the process and keep the government with plenty of cases and therefore excuses to carry on with their controls.

Way back when I was at school, we were all marched to a room, given whatever jab, then back to class, all within a half hour. The whole school done in less than a day.
Same when I was in the Army, all down to the MI room, vaccinated, then back to work.

I saw this link on facebook and it struck that if Trump is still so adamant about the fraud, I should listen to what he says just to see if it holds water.
After listening to the claims about large vote-drops for Biden in the early hours across multiple states just when it looked like Trump was winning, it occurred to me that I have not seen one single explanation of how they happened. All I have seen is ‘No evidence has been found’ which doesn’t tell me anything. Why aren’t the things Trump says being pulled out and explained one by one ?.

I really don’t know quite what to think about this – but I’ve noticed that as a general rule, what Trump has actually said has been more or less right even when it’s been dressed in some unusual language. But time and again he has been scandalously misrepresented by the media to the point of complete lies – just as Farage has been. The fact that he won’t let go of this is making me think he could be right. And I admire how far he is prepared to stick his neck out for it. I would have thought he would be glad to get rid of the job after what he has been through.

You have to appreciate that the main-stream media, both in the USA, and here, and everywhere else for that matter, and social media have skirted around all and any issues regarding this fraud, as they have with Biden’s misdemeanours. The only possible way of getting a clearer picture, is by trawling through alternative news sites, especially those of the Trump protagonists – Rudy Giuliani, Lin Wood, Sidney Powell, John Frederick, et al, – and also, of course, the brilliant Pandemic War Room, with Steve Bannon. The truth is there, writ large, with oceans of evidence. It’s just that the Democrats and their Chinese masters don’t want you to see it.

They believe that the rest of us are non-believers
who need to be converted, educated and enlightened to the values of  inclusivity, diversity and all that nonsense they subscribe to.

The result of that is people are switching off in record numbers
the BBC won’t change we need to stop subscribing to it”

Kev ‘Yes, even the Ofcom report said about that chasm.’
‘the viewers are losing faith in the BBC’s news output because of its insistence on the Remain side of the argument
and it’s firm belief that Brexit was going to lose,
      that  Brexiteers were racist dinosaurs
      … and then brexit won
This is obvious to all of us
why can’t the BBC see that its North London attitude is self-destruction ?’

‘The BBC was well in with Sadiq’s agenda pushing NYE display, and the Vicar of Dibley’

“Now, the BBC thinks the NHS is the New Church of England”
“The BBC were in tears yesterday day-night there were no queues at Dover

Another state broadcaster – RTE – is in hot water because of a ‘comedy sketch ‘ it put out on New Year Eve describing God as a rapist – in an interpretation of the Christmas story ….
    ..
… it can only be a matter of time before said sketch is repeated on the BBC . Lucky Mohammed wasn’t mentioned – there would be bodies in the street by now ….

And he really did rape – if you count forced sex with slaves as rape, which it is, given they have no choice.

“Muhammad was married to thirteen women, including eleven at one time. He relegated them to either consecutive days or (according to some accounts) all in one night. He had sex with a 9-year-old girl and married his adopted son’s wife (after arranging a quick divorce).

On top of that, Muhammad had a multitude of slave girls and concubines with whom he had sex – sometimes on the very days in which they watched their husbands and fathers die at the hands of his army.

So, by any realistic measure, the creator of the world’s most sexually restrictive religion was also one of the most sexually indulgent characters in history.”

It’s 27 seconds long and unfunny
Surely the #1 concern are rape victims
Imagine you are a rape victim perhaps, even a victim of a rapey priest. Is it good to satirically equate your situation with that of the situation of the Holy Mother ? Especially if you are still a firm Catholic yourself ?

The apologists on Twitter universally used whataboutery
.. “What about when priests abused children, you never complained about that, and now you complain about a comedy sketch”

In a mock year-in-review news bulletin, portrayed as a broadcast from satirical website Waterford Whispers News, former RTÉ newsreader Aengus MacGrianna reads a report over video footage of an old long bearded white man dressed in white robes being led by police from a court.

      Entire text of video
      “A shocking revelation this year,”
“God became the latest figure to be implicated in the ongoing sexual harassment scandal.
The five-billion-year-old stood accused of forcing himself on a young Middle Eastern migrant
and allegedly impregnating her against her will before being sentenced to two years in prison, with the last 24 months suspended.
“Following the news, movie producer Harvey Weinstein requested a retrial in Ireland.”

Apart from being extremely crass, it’s also theologically incorrect: Mary acquiesced, she said Yes.

‘So Mary said, “Yes, I am a servant of the Lord; let this happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel departed from her.’ – (Luke 1:38)

          Mary acquiesced, she said Yes.

According to who? The accused rapist, or the story spun by one of his best mates 80 years later?

Just how old was Mary at the time, by the way?

Starmer is now calling for an immediate national lockdown . Doing such a thing – publicly – when the PM has warned about the need for higher tiers ‘later’ surely just drives the decision to be a political one ….

Sadly, the agreement allows them to be there.

Boris the outgoing PM generously negotiated away 90% of white fish catches east of the IOW to our continental neighbours.

Some have said this is in perpetuity, others have said its reviewed in 5years. The detail is hidden in one of the annexes apparently.

The AIS plot shows the lead vessel performing a sharp about turn when hitting the line whilst operating south of the IOW. Perhaps a FPV was in the area.

All Boats were however prevented from Electric pulse fishing from New Year’s Day, which is somethings, but not enough when compared to the damage the Dutch factory ships do.

Plenty of sprats around at the moment, these are being chased by Cod and Whiting, all of which will find their way to Dutch fields as fertiliser or African fish markets.

I remember one article on the new Dr Who which had HYS opened on it. The cherry picked twitter comments in the article were either absolutely positive, or slightly negative with a follow-up comment to countering the negative one.
The HYS comments however all trashed the show completely for the woke garbage it is.

Apparently a black-ish footballer scored the winning goal in a match yesterday, and someone (who presumably supports the losing team?) didn’t take too kindly and wrote something derogatory on Twitter against the footballer and his family.

Now, the comments against the footballer should be water off a ducks back, although the ones aimed against his family are obviously going too far and aren’t necessary.

But what really annoys me is that every time we get anything like this, any kind of name-calling or dodgy communication via social media, then the reaction from blacks, or BLM, or lefties, or the PC brigade, is always a hysterical indignant over-reaction.

Whatever happened to “sticks and stones may break my bones” etc etc, or “oh just ignore him, he’ll go away”. In other words stop being such cry-babies over every perceived form of injustice, stop with the hysteria and witch hunt when one person writes something questionable on social media.

Just sick and tired of this.

Oh so sad to hear of another 60’s icon passing away Gerry Marsden. I remember queuing to see him back in 1965 when he had equal billing with Billy J Kramer & the Dakotas, and on the same bill was Gene Pitney and Lindsey de Paul. Those were the days when all the chart heroes were on the same bill at the local theatre. None of this huge concert performing where you watch tv screens to see them.

I listened to a doom laden The World this Weekend on R4 with Jonny Dymond who was, pleasantly, not in his usual ‘Staccato Dalek’ mode. Mind you, he couldn’t get an edge in wordways most of the time as two contributors talked and talked and then talked some more at high speed for all of their contribution.

The vanishing mist like ‘R’ rate got a passing mention. Had I been presenting, I would have interrupted the contributor, Mishal-or-Nick-stylee from the TOADY Prog and pushed and pushed for detailed information about this ‘R’ number, who calculates it and where can we find consistent daily records of it since 1st March 2020.

As ‘they’ used to finish ‘their’ letters to The Times newspaper ‘I think we should be told.’
