The empire strikes back really, with a plethora of tolerance, empathy and high culture, as can be witnessed in any African or middle east war torn, corrupt sh&t hole ( I think they got a far as wooden masks and human sacrifice in Africa, well done)

And we are enriched now with mysogynistic rap music, casual regular sexism and anti asian racism, no male role models cos daddy is off inseminated someone else, forced prostitution, gang culture, stabbings and rape, all the kinds of behaviour you will never find in any English village

And as for an empire ? when violence does not work what are you left with ? Somalia…. or Lebanon, razed the the ground by your guns and bombs, so just wait for whitee to build something else you can steal and make it all turn to sh@t just like all the other places you have ruined

Next question. Would you consider that anyone who does not take up the booster jab is not fully vaccinated and therefor their Covid pass becomes invalid?

Prof Van-Tam says there’s no current consideration of certification for booster jabs.

He says, as a scientist, he would not consider that person to be “optimally protected” – but any Covid certification would be a matter for ministers to decide and that’s a long way off.

“I’m kicking the can down the road on that,” he says.

When can these emergency powers be used?
Emergency powers are only intended to be used in exceptional circumstances. Ignorance is a safe space. Book burning by the left is already a factor being considered and as for Science that is a perception based on race and circumstance (if we are to believe the BBC) can ony be used to further an Agenda (and not to oppose it). All things being equal (equal, society), then the most oppresses and coloured should be able to express themselves as equal to Darwin, Newton, Faraday as well as carry the latest mobile phone is proof of above average intelligence. That time has come. Thanks to Google, facebook, Twitter and BBC fact checkers, everybody has a right to be stupid en-masse and be equally stupid. Twitter followers and BBC fact checkers are proof that no universe exists, as planets are racist.

Suzhou: The Venice of the East

“Suzhou, located in the Jiangsu Province of China, is often called the “Venice of the East” because of it’s many water canals and bridges around the city! In fact, more than 42% of the city is covered in water.

Built in 514 BC, this city has a history of more than 2,000 years and is the perfect place to enjoy sightseeing, beautiful canals, and a relaxing travel experience strolling along the river.

I first came to Suzhou during the Spring Festival of 2016, so I was really excited to visit again and explore more! I spent 2 days here which was enough time to see the highlights, but you could easily spend longer here to really experience all the water areas and gardens here.”

Macau’s casinos have seen some tough times in recent years, but take a walk along the city’s casino boulevard, the Cotai Strip, and you’d never know it — a couple of mega casinos have opened recently and more are in the works.
The casino hub is bouncing back from some recent tough times.
Macau’s casinos were at their peak in 2014 when gaming revenue was more than US$45 billion, cementing the city’s position as the world’s casino capital.
And then Beijing launched its anti-corruption crackdown, targeting the casinos and its VIP gambling segment, and the industry was hard-hit. The casinos experienced 26 consecutive months of gross gaming revenue decline and it wasn’t until August 2016 that the industry saw a turnaround.
All of Macau’s six casino operators — SJM Holdings, Wynn Macau, Sands China, Galaxy Entertainment Group, MGM China Holdings and Melco Crown Entertainment — have expanded in the last few years, most opening big new properties.
The Cotai Strip is where it’s all happening — three of the operators with big casinos on the Macau Peninsula have recently opened or are currently building new mega-casinos on the strip.
In line with a Macau Government initiative to seek economic diversification, casinos are being encouraged to develop more family-friendly projects and entertainment to help draw visitors.

My thoughts regarding him are for his family today

      Even the bbc:

The prime minister’s mother, Charlotte Johnson Wahl, has died aged 79.

A notice published in the Times newspaper said she died “suddenly and peacefully” at St Mary’s Hospital in west London.

Boris Johnson once described his mother, who was a painter, as the “supreme authority” in the family.

Senior figures from across the political spectrum, including Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer, have sent their condolences to Mr Johnson.

Sir Keir tweeted: “I’m very sorry to learn of the prime minister’s loss. My condolences to him and his family.”

Conservative party chairwoman, Amanda Milling, said she was “thinking of Boris Johnson and his family this evening”, adding, “Our thoughts and prayers are with you.”

Tory MP, Conor Burns, who is a friend of the prime minister, tweeted: “So sad to hear of the death of Boris Johnson’s mum. Thoughts and prayers are with him and the whole of the Johnson clan.”

Mrs Johnson Wahl, whose father was president of the European Commission for Human Rights in the 1970s, married Stanley Johnson in 1963 before completing her degree at Oxford University as the first married female undergraduate at her college.

The couple had four children – Boris, journalist Rachel, former minister Jo and environmentalist Leo. They divorced in 1979.

As an artist, Mrs Johnson Wahl made her name as a portrait painter, with actress Joanna Lumley and author Jilly Cooper among her subjects.

In 1988, she married American professor Nicholas Wahl and moved to New York – where she began painting cityscapes. She returned to London in 1996 following his death.

At the age of 40, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease but continued painting, steadying herself with a walking frame as she worked.

As I’ve had to look at your BBC news and use other sources to determine that your news is not news but selective editorial opinion I’d like to request that I have a refund for the last 4 years plus get the BBC free from now on.

Please let me know how I can go about this as I am willing to create a full list of articles that I’ve had to investigate plus time taken for me to check your fact checker whilst realising that the BBC intentionally removes news rather than incorrectly report on it, uses images to sway opinion or misleads with the main titles hoping no one reads the full article.

    https://www.ozy.com/around-the-world/the-worlds-first-anti-vax-fatwa-has-been-issued-heres-what-it-did/93536/

For the 225 million Muslims who call Indonesia’s 17,500 islands home, the supreme authority on religious affairs is the Indonesian Ulama Council, or the MUI. So when the central MUI issued a fatwa last August backing up a regional council’s decision that the measles and rubella (MR) vaccine was considered haram, or forbidden, many conservative families across the archipelago refused to vaccinate.

The reason was that the innoculation contained elements derived from pigs, and the fatwa — a ruling on a point of Islamic law — earned the dubious accolade of being the first known in the world to be issued against a vaccine.

The central MUI, chaired until recently by the incumbent president’s new running mate Ma’ruf Amin, later walked back its condemnation. It said that the prohibited porcine elements were superseded by the risk to public health, and that parents should inoculate their children despite the haram label. But the damage had already been done. Especially in one province: geographically isolated Aceh, the only state in Indonesia permitted to enforce Sharia law.

Many other Islamic and Jewish authorities around the world have certified vaccines containing pig gelatin under a concept called istihalah in Islam, claiming that the hydrolysis process purifies the vaccines. While some ultra-Orthodox Jews and branches of fundamentalist Christianity oppose vaccines, no other major religious council has rejected them. Vaccination rates among ultra-Orthodox Jews are thought to be low, and New York City suburb Rockland County has recently seen a measles outbreak with cases concentrated among its Orthodox population, though no known authority has forbidden that community from vaccinating.

The UK’s vaccination programme continues apace, but GP’s have warned the uptake in BAME communities has been low.

They warned that misinformation has left patients reluctant to come forward.

Muslims are one of the groups of BAME patients that are reportedly being targeted.

“The fears that target the Muslim community, are that somehow the vaccine contains components that aren’t halal or something else,” said Imran Ahmed from the Centre for Countering Digital Hate.

Those behind the campaigns are “willing to use misinformation, misrepresentation and outright lies,” he added.

As COP26 approaches the ‘narrative’ becomes ever more desperate

TOADY Watch #2 – the first of two items to raise fear of Global Warming and Climate Change – the farmer is guilty!

Polluted streams reared their heads on TOADY. The water quality in streams is poor and is getting worse. Not mentioned was the rubbish that humans dump in rivers, food trays, plastic bottles, shopping trolleys or what the wind blows in to them, discarded food and confectionary wrappers, pieces of paper and plastic bags. Also not mentioned were the animals who defecate in streams and rivers. Yes, wildlife can reduce water quality. Sewage and chemical discharges can come from the water companies themselves and Southern Water was in the news recently having been fined for polluting Whitstable Harbour in Kent with sewage.

No, top of the list for guilty for this female scientist or environmental campaigner (cannot now remember which) was the farmer and here’s the rub. She claimed it was soil and the chemicals put on it that were polluting rivers and streams the most. Now, if the environmental activists want the world to go vegan to save the planet, then that will mean getting rid of pigs and goats and sheep and cows from the flatlands, the animals that generally do not need chemicals and pesticides put on them, and replacing them with fields growing grain crops and vegetables. Now those need chemicals to keep them pest free and healthy and the soil run-off will carry those chemicals into rivers and streams if they flow through farmland. Doh!

Talk about stupid at Doctorate level! The woman obviously had no brain at all.

I had to switch the radio off at that point. I’m now longing for the end of November. Or Christmas. We are going to have more and more of this nonsense in the run-up to COP26. I hope Mishal had the brains to suggest Genetic Modification of grains and vegetables to this woman to hear a complete meltdown from her on air. Sadly, I don’t think the TOADY Editors would allow that and Mishal would not be bright enough to think of it on her own.

‘It’s all over for the West’….long time plan of the Left…from the BBC to Labour….and ‘The West’ means ‘White people’ and their culture, history and civilisation…..The Left has always hated European success and influence….as we speak the BBC is broadcasting all week a programme relating the tragedies inflicted upon the world by interaction with bad Europeans [whites]….

‘Neil MacGregor’s history of the world as told through things that time has left behind. Throughout this week, he is examining the often troubled relationship between Europe and the rest of the world during the 18th century. ‘
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00v1mvt

We know the BBC et al promote mass immigration in order to further this plan [Labour admitted it wanted to ‘Brown Britain’] and celebrate the ‘ethnic cleansing’ of Whites…here’s the Guardian[way back in 2000…so even worse now] gloating at Brown’s dominating Whites…

….and you will have nowhere to run, no safe haven….when ‘White’ becomes illegal and your land has been occupied and ‘browned’….

‘The last days of a white world
We are near a global watershed – a time when white people will not be in the majority in the developed world, Britain included. Anthony Browne reports ‘

‘Back in California, in a land built by immigrants, Bustamente put a positive spin on the end of the white majority: ‘If there are no majorities, then there’s no minorities.’ In Europe, with its 40,000-year-old indigenous white population, the rise of a non-white majority may not be greeted with such equanimity.

In the United Kingdom, the number of people from ethnic minorities has risen from a few tens of thousands in 1950 to more than 3 million now.’

    Hmmmmm

Guido suggests the BBC’s Katya Adler may have been ‘influenced’ in one of her analysis’ of Merkel’s career by a previous profile…

‘BBC’s Remarkably Familiar Story on Angela Merkel
Yesterday, BBC Europe editor Katya Adler posted an insightful profile on Angela Merkel’s “mixed legacy” following her 16 years as German Chancellor. It was a compelling analysis: poring over the details of her domestic and European policymaking, ultimately concluding that there’s a “tale of two Merkels“. By sheer coincidence, Adler’s analysis bears a truly remarkable similarity to another profile on the German Chancellor that appeared in Foreign Policy magazine back in July.’

I’m thinking this is not an unusual thing for the BBC….The BBC’s Sarah Baxter was on Today giving us an analysis of American political polarisation…we heard it was all the fault of the Right and could be linked to events on January 6 as an explosive coming together of all the right-wing conspiracy theories and memes.

Yesterday I heard an American writer [missed his name]telling us about his book….which said the same thing.

Considering that the narrative is entirely false, and both manage to miss out the part of the Democrats [and the Russians and BBC], BLM[a year of riots, death and destruction] and Antifa et al, it’s remarkable that we get exactly the same line about the development of polarisation and how it is all due to the Right.

Preston teenager charged with killing Army veteran, 86.

teenager has been charged over the death of an 86-year-old Army veteran who was attacked outside his home.

Frank Fishwick was assaulted after confronting a group of youths at about 15:00 BST on Friday in The Paddock in Fulwood, said Lancashire police.

Mr Fishwick suffered a fractured nose and died in hospital the following day.

Mohammed Al Aaraj, 19, of Sheffield Drive in Preston has been charged with manslaughter. He will appear later at Preston Magistrates’ Court.

He had been originally been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Mr Fishwick’s family said the former Royal Engineer, who later worked for Leyland Motors, was an “adored father and grandfather”.

Lancashire Police said he was attacked when he went to speak to youths who were congregating in a stairway near his home.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of his death to be bleeding as a result of fractures to the nose.

Det Ch Insp Mark Haworth-Oates said: “First and foremost our thoughts remain with Mr Fishwick’s family, who continue to be looked after by specialist officers.

“Our inquiries are very much ongoing and we have now charged a man in relation to this incident. However, we are continuing to ask witnesses to come forward.”.

My young people aren’t even remotely terrified of ‘global warming’, but perhaps that’s because we’ve tried to install a sense of proportion in them, and to equip them with enquiring minds.

To be honest, I don’t think any of their friends are ‘terrified’ about global warming either, or their parents…

In fact, come to think of it, I only know one person terrified of global warming, rather worryingly he’s a 48 year old GP, but he never was any good at maths, or the ‘hard’ sciences, that’s why he went into medicine. “One pill, two pills… lots of pills”. Why they get paid three times as much as the rest of us I have no idea, but he is a genuinely nice guy… just a little daft, very impressionable, thought Jeremy Corbyn would be a ‘decent PM’, voted to Remain, watches the BBC, and reads the Guardian (yes, I know, but they all do, it goes with the job).

He suffered anxiety cos whereas most women wait 2 weeks for scan results

and that needed further clarification of the results
but the department then sent the follow up request back, saying we don’t do appointments for men
After complaints he got the appointment
    His results came back negative.

OK a big story for him

The world is pretty bonkers and the BBC keeps on encouraging them.

Listening yesterday to a piece about childcare and how expensive it is….woman, black, from London moaning…someone from oop North messages in to say her childcare was reasonable….black woman doesn’t like this and says people should know they are privileged and acknowledge it….guess you can use that line for anything these days.

She was of course from some ‘Black Women’s’ something or other group. Why do black women need a group just for themselves about childcare? And why does the BBC give them the time of day?

It does become harder to find childcare if your child is an ADHD monster, or so I’ve heard. The nurseries/playgroups/kindergartens/schools/colleges/unis/employers just don’t seem to want them, for some reason.

Is it me, or has EVERYONE in this country got something wrong with them AND their offspring?

I’m not talking about older people and their aches and pains here, I’m talking about middle aged and younger adults, and their offspring.

Just got back from a social event with friends and it’s depressing just how many families claim most of the family has something wrong with them (more often than not it’s the entire family), physically, mentally, physically and mentally.

ME, ADHD, Autism, Allergies, Chronic Fatigue, Long Covid etcera…

Which usually means they can’t work, or have to have a lot of time off work, or can’t do any housework, or mow their lawns, or the kids just can’t sit still, or go to school, or do what they’re told…

Looking at most of them they still manage to find the right hole to shove the food in though.

Am sure it wasn’t like that when I was a child, or maybe people just got off their fat arses and went to work, instead of sitting around moaning and coming up with excuses all the time.

Students have defaced a mural featuring Rudyard Kipling’s If in a stand against his “racist” work.

The author’s 1895 poem was painted on a wall of Manchester University’s newly renovated union building.

But student leaders erased the work, replacing it with a piece by Maya Angelou in a bid to reverse “black and brown voices” being written out of history.

The union has apologised for failing to consult students on its choice of poem.

      ‘Terribly crude’
Riddi Viswanathan, student union diversity officer, said elected members representing students felt Kipling was “not in line with our values”, singling out his poem The White Man’s Burden.

“It’s important for us to represent the voices of black and brown students, which is why we felt Rudyard Kipling’s poem was completely inappropriate,” she said.

But Jan Montefiore, professor emeritus of 20th Century literature at Kent University and author of a 2007 book on Kipling, said it was “terribly crude and simplistic to dismiss Kipling as a racist”.
