In the last post I point out the BBC tweet about Riitenhouse
doesn’t open with “not guilty” or “innocent”.
And ends by saying he was “claiming self-defence”
as if there were still some doubt in the jury’s verdict.

The Now Show Radio 4 6.30pm today repeat tomorrow at 12.30 pm .

I took one for the team and endured it . Naturally being a BBC comedy it wasn’t funny . Taffman always says here that the BBC don’t do comedy . One day , by listening to thousands of hours of BBC comedy shows over many years I’ll prove him wrong because one day a BBC comedian will say something funny . I hope Taffman’s younger than me to hear it .

There was a North American stand up on tonight’s show , no doubt Democrat and all other boxes ticked . She had a go at Duck duck Go because anyone who went there can’t stand Google because it’s too mainstream.
The usual anti Tory jibes probably deserved because they could but don’t sort the BBC out . Only today I heard Nadine Dorries saying she likes the BBC because she’s British . I hate the BBC because I’m British . It’s like liking your dead skin cells because they were part of you .

There were no jibes atLabour politicians because the BBC couldn’t this week accuse them of not being pro EU enough or pro immigration etc .

…I guess this site should be interested by the ‘diversity of thought ‘ amongst this dismal list – but for me it is academic as they are not worth a fart .

They treat Marr as though he’s some sort of messiah, and like a lot of these over-paid hacks, they begin to believe that they are famous for being famous, like the awful sussex gits and several other yanks as well!

They’re just hacks fergodsake! Not that interesting unless they can go to work and get some real news, not just spout gotchas every few minutes, and beam around like the school fat kid, eventually answering an easy question in class.

I really don’t give two hoots about most journos these days, especially those paid for by the state (over-paid). The occasional pundit says a few well-chosen words in one or two normal rags, but on the whole, the awful BBC lead the pack on poor writing, pretentious presentation, fraudulent insincerity and a general lack of goodwill towards the pensioners who fork out a week’s pension per year for their eye-watering wages, and get very little in return.

Fair point. Who could possibly guess his politics? My guess would be he is a keen Brexiteer who voted Ukip. I now expect to hear much more from him on his love of free market economics and opposition to climate change hysteria.

Mark Dolan on GBNews just after 10pm responded to Andrew Neil and his loyalty to the new channel. Mr Neil had obviously hit a nerve with Mr Dolan when he referred to him as a shock jock. Mark highlighted Mr Neil’s complaints that he had been flown up to London from his second home in Monaco in the smallest private plane ever. He had returned by plane after 9 programmes, only 1 hour after leaving the studio. Mark suggested it wasn’t Ryanair. Not sure how private planes fit in with Andrew’s time at the BBC. But of course it is one rule for the BBC and the left and another rule for everyone else.

The piece can be found on YouTube and 1 hour 5 minutes into the programme.

The blame or policy decision has to be at no.10. It not as if the EU has the capacity or the political will to hold a gun to Britain’s head. We are the authors of our destruction.

The BBC keep changing their Rittenhouse story. At the time of writing:

Mr Rittenhouse, then aged 17, had travelled to the city from his home in Illinois. Armed with a semi-automatic rifle, he said he sought to help protect property from unrest.

During the trial, jurors were shown video, sometimes frame by frame, leading up to and after each shooting.

In their closing arguments, Mr Rittenhouse’s lawyers argued that he was “trying to help this community” and “reacted to people attacking him”. Prosecutors, meanwhile, questioned why he broke curfew in a city he did not live in and “pretended to guard” people and property he was not familiar with.

Which implies that Rittenhouse brought the gun into the state, except that he didn’t, he got it from a friend living in Kenosha. They also miss out that his father lived in Kenosha, which rather challenges the prosecution argument that he had no connection to Kenosha. I wonder how many of the ‘peaceful protesters’ came from outside Kenosha?

Sleepy Joe is struggling too, first accepting that what juries decide is right, then getting the update from his minders and telling us it is OK to protest against the verdict.

    • Doublethinker says:

To a degree the jury arriving at the not guilty verdict has revived my faith in the US justice system. The 7 women and 5 men jury resisted the mob and media pressure to find Rittenhouse guilty. Well done them.
But if any of those who assaulted Rittenhouse and whom he shot in self defence had been black , the pressure exerted by the MSM and the mob would have been even more intense. Would the jurors have been able to stand firm under it?
As we repeatedly see over here being a BAME confers huge advantages whenever the law is involved. It really is one rule for white folks and another much more lenient one for BAMES. The race card trumps every other card in the pack, it make the innocent guilty and guilty innocent.

      Jim,

Of the little I can bear to hear from our, “Worlds Most Trusted Broadcaster”, the emphasis from them alone is that the Rittenhouse legal issue was solely based on the right to own firearms. Self defence, as far as the BBC is concerned, didn’t come into it.

It can only be the BBC who decided to totally distort a story and have the nerve to broadcast it to predominantly British viewer/listeners in the hope that they will be too dim to realise the lies.

The BBC? Utterly corrupted and dishonest. The evil entity needs closing down immediately. From what I hear of the Dorries volte- face, it aint gonna happen on her watch.

There was a simpler time when young children used to sing:

Jesus bids us shine with a clear, pure light,
    Like a little candle burning in the night;
In this world of darkness, we must shine,
You in your small corner, and I in mine.
    Jesus bids us shine, first of all for Him;
    Well He sees and knows it if our light is dim;
He looks down from heaven, sees us shine,
You in your small corner, and I in mine.
Jesus bids us shine, then, for all around
Many kinds of darkness in this world abound:
Sin, and want, and sorrow—we must shine,
You in your small corner, and I in mine.
Jesus bids us shine, as we work for Him,
    Bringing those that wander from the paths of sin;
He will ever help us, if we shine,
You in your small corner, and I in mine.

You in your small corner, and I in mine. If only…

    I read today:

“Will there be no end to Adele emoting about her divorce and the suffering it caused her and her son Angelo while promoting her new album? The once private singer even included one track My Little Love for Angelo with the lyrics ‘Mummy’s got big feelings. I feel confused. Mama’s got to learn, teach me’. When you ditch half your body weight and your husband to take up with an American sports agent, Mummy, surely it’s your job to teach your child how to cope.”

I owe my life to Adele. I was in coma for two years, until the nurses played one of her songs on the radio in my room.

I had to wake up to turn it off.

The BBC has decided the outcome of a trial in another country is number one in the news. So they start the programme with a frankly mad American ‘human rights’ lawyer going on about the rittenhouse ? Case – which I know little about and care less .
Anyway – the yank lawyer was moaning about the fact that the defence had a lot of resources to fight the case . The lightweight beeboid chose not to call the lawyer idiot out on this very much .

I sat laughing at the thought that a human rights lawyer didn’t like defendants having the best defence against The State .—-because The State in this case is the Hero Biden ….

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-59348734

Another article about racism written by a female BAME on the BBC. No bias there then. The BBC far-Left propaganda is simply out of control now.

Nothing has divided society like the George Floyd farce. The Left well and truly rubbed it in everybodies faces for months. The policeman was wrong and Floyd was a drug dealing scumbag. But they totally ignored the second part.

Now they are doing it again. And Bidens comments are absolutely outrageous for a President criticising someone found innocent in a court of law and basically telling people they should be angry.

The Left are far too nasty and spiteful to allow this slap in their face. I wouldn’t be surprised if the guy is somehow put back on trial and found guilty of something to appease the racist BLM.

Kyle Rittenhouse should have realised that as a moral upstanding citizen he had no business shooting people dead only far left Democrat supporting movie actors are allowed to do that, and where are the protests in the streets over what Alec Baldwin did ?

Lets take a look at the people who were shot two dead one wounded and all of them with criminal convictions, some very serious.

Rosenbaum spent roughly 15 years in prison in his early adulthood, according to Arizona prison records. Court documents showed that Rosenbaum was accused of sexually abusing five pre-teen boys in 2002, was indicted on 11 counts of child molestation, and eventually pleaded guilty to two amended counts of sexual conduct with a minor.

Huber pleaded guilty in 2013 to two felony counts of strangulation and suffocation, and false imprisonment, court records showed. According to a criminal complaint, Rittenhouse’s defense attorneys cited without the jury present, Huber had pulled a knife on his brother and grandmother, and choked his brother amid an argument about housecleaning.

Grosskreutz confirmed on the witness stand that he had previously been convicted of a crime, but did not tell the jury what it was. Wisconsin court records show he pleaded guilty in 2016 to one misdemeanor count of being armed while intoxicated.

It is no surprise to find the left out protesting assaulting people and shouting the usual meaningless word ‘racism’ when defending the right of a paedophile. It’s not an isolated event either, as we have seen here in Britain the Left promoting the dissgusting activities of paedophiles whenever they can.

Something to ponder, no protests for this one:

Black rapper DaBaby killed someone inside a Walmart in Huntersville, a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. But the situation surrounding the Walmart shooting and resulting murder is more complex than what Chappelle presented.

Immediately after the shooting, pandemonium ensued inside the store as patrons stampeded towards the exits. Cops quickly responded — with one officer already inside the store on routine patrol. But it was initially unclear who was involved in the shooting or what took place. Inside the empty store, police only found the dead body of 19-year-old Jalyn Domonique Craig, who died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Within days, local Charlotte news reports confirmed that rapper DaBaby (real name Jonathan Kirk) was one of four individuals being held for questioning. Soon thereafter, DaBaby released an Instagram video from a hospital bed confirming that he had fired shots in the altercation in self-defense.

“If them gunshots ain’t go off, n—a, my f—kin’ daughter could’ve got hit, son could’ve got hit, me,” DaBaby alleged. “F—kin’ lawyers telling me not to say something and s—t, f—k all that. Two n—as walk down on you and your whole muthaf—kin’ family, threaten y’all, whip out on y’all, n—a, let me see what y’all gon’ too. You feel me?”

DaBaby alleged that immediately prior to the Walmart shooting murder, he was violently robbed by two men while shopping with his family. The assailants were allegedly armed and potentially trying to kill the rapper — and camera footage supplied by Walmart eventually backed that defense.

By March of 2019, a judge agreed with DaBaby’s legal argument of self-defense and dropped the murder charges. The rapper was only charged with the misdemeanor offense of carrying a concealed weapon.

Immediately after the ruling, the family of Jalyn Domonique Craig felt that DaBaby got away with murder following the Walmart shooting. But the evidence strongly suggested that the rapper was merely defending himself during an aggressive assault.

We increasingly notice commercial corporations promoting leftist idealogy. The evidence spans the gamut from diversity casting in advertising to climate alarmism virtue signalling. The commercial incentive however, still prevents the boardroom going quite as far down that road as our editorial newsrooms will go.

A nice example is the frontpage of the ‘i’ newspaper this morning.

Whereas the market still demands WH Smith advertise: ‘Children’s books for Christmas

The anti-Christian house-style of the ‘i’ presents to us: ‘The best films to watch this winter

A Merry Winterval to us all; Any deity, or deities (or none) bless us, every one!” – as a latterday Tiny Tim might have to say, were he to appear in a festive advert. The editor of the ‘i’, by the way, apparently delights in the rather Dickensian name of Oliver Duff. Please Sir, we want a bit less of your lefty gruel.

The ‘i’ newspaper, always keen to serve us up a big steaming bowl of leftism, has probably also been the most coronaphobic of our national press titles. The Guardian has obviously been lockdownphilic; ever anxious to protect those precious flowers that are our public sector workers, supposedly tasked with our health and welfare, and more specifically to protect their institutions. Of course the Graun is always happy to bash Boris whatever the grounds for the beating. This morning however, the Guardinistas have other fish to fry than epidemics: ‘Tories “fuelling racism” by rejecting multiculturalism

    More news, less isms, please.

The ‘i’ frontpage does the virus like a stuck needle on a scratchy old gramophone record: ‘New lockdown in Europe

You’ll notice closer to home the operative word in their conditional clause here is YET: ‘but no need for UK Plan B yet, say scientists

Seems our world-envied NHS has come up with a super new medical breakthrough palliative for their all too familiar seasonal pressures: ‘NHS trust offer families £1,200 to take patients home from hospital as crisis grows‘ (‘i’)

For some reason, having mentioned Oliver Twist, I’m thinking of another children’s Christmas movie. I’m imagining Charlie Bucket of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory fame, nabbing himself a fortune and freeing up multiple NHS beds with his four bedridden grandparents.

There’s a slightly awkward segue to: ‘Bedwetters lose fight to keep comic off telly. Benny Hill scuttles wokies‘ (Daily Satyr) – you have to smile, their thought for the day is: ‘Cue saxophone

Yakety Sax indeed. That humorous little ditty might be a suitable theme tune for our justice system these days.

Freed killer back inside. Child murderer Pitchfork approached lone women‘ (Daily Mirror)

Second thoughts, let’s allow Border Force first dibs on the Benny Hill theme.

Patel plans Greek-style clampdown on migrants‘ (Daily Telegraph) – what’s that then… a plan where the migrants get to break all our plates? What’s a Greek Urn? asked Ernie Wise.. about two bob a week, came Eric’s reply. Minimum wage regulations have put that one out of date.

Asylum seekers will have to obey strict rules at new holding centres or face rejection‘ – I joke about the plate breaking – but how long before they burn the centre down?

The Paul Dacre Ofcom fiasco gives us an insight into why our border migrant problems will never be fixed.

The former editor of the Daily Mail pulls out of the race to become chairman of the media regulator Ofcom… with a stinging attack on senior civil servants‘ (Times) – why so?

in a letter to The Times, Dacre described his experience as an “infelicitous dalliance with the Blob… if you are possessed of an independent mind and are unassociated with the liberal left, you will have more chance of winning the lottery than getting the job”

Female celeb angst story spot: ‘“I just thought I was less mature. Now I know the education system wasn’t for me” Melanie Sykes on her diagnosis of autism‘ (Guardian)

The ‘i’ enthuses over: ‘Kamala Harris becomes first female US Acting President‘ – I can almost hear her witchy cackling laughter from here. Shame she missed her initial taste of the number one spot being at Halloween.

The Telegraph features: ‘Marr quits BBC to “get my voice back”‘ – don’t tell us he wants to come out as a conservative? That really would be a Miracle on Christmas.

Meanwhile the Daily Express presents: ‘Free Mr Men book… Mr Happy finds a hobby

With a bit of luck the casual BBC viewer will wonder wtf? And maybe just a little bit more to the demise of the BBC ….

And coming changes are years away…

Im afraid Mr Balls should just stick to the gravy train like the rest of them – his wife – after all – still gets her minimum £83k…

.hmmmm…maybe that’s the problem with the Muslim community and anti-Semitism…a deeply engrained cultural problem…or as Mehdi Hasan admitted…the Muslim communities’ ‘dirty little secret’.

Its not a cultural issue. Its Islamic doctrine. so it cannot be changed.

Similar to killing a Muslim, who convers out of Islam. After 9/11 much effort was made to get Muslims to change that Islamic doctrine, but they always got out of it by shifting that it was not the time etc.

For a Muslim, devout or not, changing Islamic doctrine cannot be done. Once the UK is Sharia, homosexuals and atheists beware.

    Business as usual.

Whilst we were all asleep, an RNLI lifeboat ferried in 28 illegal immigrants at 3.45am.

3h ago – Speedwell has arrived with illegal immigrants on-board. Hunter and Valiant are in the middle of the Channel picking them up from the French. Two RHIBs are assisting with the dinghies. Business as usual.

25m ago – Border Force vessel Athena is on its way in with illegal immigrants on-board. Hurricane isn’t far behind. It seems Speedwell is picking some up mid-Channel. Hunter is a few miles off Ramsgate also looking for illegal immigrants to pick up.

I think this issue will inflict serious damage on P Useless and billy bunter and the tories as a whole than they have the brain to recognise. It also highlights the failings and inadequacies of the political system in the UK. Five years is too long, if glaring issues arise in between the rulers have too much time to wreak serious damage – such as what we witness at present and can do nothing about if keeping within the daily evaporating ‘law’. Bit by bit, the so-called, “Rule of Law” is breaking down. “Illegal” migrants? Surely we can take the governments lead in ignoring the “illegal” bit when we decide as individuals to do as we please – illegally. We’re well headed for the ‘law of the jungle’ by government example.

‘Zelazek, a prominent member of the terrorist group, the Unwoke Gammonati, was today found guilty of wrongthink. Overwhelming evidence of his guilt was provided by the star witness for the prosecution, Maxincony, who had kept a full dossier on Zelazek for many years. Under the severe torture of 24-hour exposure to Radio Four, Zelazek denounced fellow conspirators who go under the noms de guerre of Scroblene and Sluff. Zelazek’s execution will be broadcast live on BBC One at 7am Tuesday (highlights later at 8pm, except for viewers in Scotland). After the execution Jeremy Vine will host a phone-in on Radio Two on the danger posed by those who advocate becoming aware of reality.’

I used to enjoy TV ‘tec dramas, particularly those set in the past.
They used to be simple tales, entertainingly told, with a hint of nostalgia for people in my age group. Not any more I’m afraid…

Political correctness has inveigled its way in to series like Endeavour, Granchester and even the ridiculously twee, Father Brown. I find I’m not watching a well told story anymore, that’s just the wrapping. Actually I’m being lectured about racism, sexism, gay rights…indeed all manner of BS that people in the fifties, sixties and seventies weren’t, for some reason, permanently preoccupied with. Strange people…

So perhaps I should have been on my guard when I sat down to watch Dalgleish, Channel 5s latest foray into old cop dramas. You might well recall the excellent series with Roy Marsden, or even the later Martin Shaw effort. This latest one has taken a bit of a detour from the original stories, inventing characters that hadn’t earlier existed and shoe horning them into the drama for purely tiresome and predictable finger wagging.

Dalgleish gets a new assistant; a bright, decent mixed race girl…oh God, you can all guess the rest. His second in command is an unpleasant, loutish, racist, misogynistic bloke…ie, he’s a working class bloke. The type of person these people really despise.

The girl is brave, bright and honest. The bloke is a creepy, sneering, inadequate bully. It’s just so painfully, dreadfully predictable. Every box was ticked. No woke cliche was left out. It was agonisingly awful.

It will probably win a BAFTA…

”Gayathri Ajith alleges that cricketer Azeem Rafiq sent her inappropriate messages in late 2015, three months after meeting on a flight from Manchester to Dubai.

She said she told Mr Rafiq that she was 17-years-old when they met, when she was only 16-years-old, reportedly turning down a dinner invite from the cricketer whilst in Dubai.

The Yorkshire Post reports that a mobile phone number belonging to the cricketer, and sent in 2015, read: “u know what I wanted to do on the plane?” and “I want to grab you push u up against wall and kiss you”.

When she said “do you realise that I’m only 17?” she was asked: “Does tht mean it not allowed to want to kiss me” and “Wud u have let me kiss u?”.

Ms Ajith, described the alleged messages from Azeem Rafiq as “creepy” when she spoke to The Yorkshire Post, adding “I was just kind of shocked by the crudity of those messages. They were just so vulgar.”

I don’t usually listen to LBC radio because most of the presenters are left wing idiots but been listening to Majid Nawaz whose talking about Covid passports. He pointed listeners to an article by the Welsh liberal democrats. https://www.politics.co.uk/news-in-brief/welsh-covid-pass-expansion-not-based-on-evidence-say-lib-dems/ the Welsh gov has extended covid passports but as the liberal democrats point out in this article there is no evidence passports reduce covid and people who have been vaccinated still catch and spread it. That mark drakeford is a little hitler and his passports will ruin businesses and create a two tier society. He is a dictator who recently was at a party with no mask on the hypocrite. I think his dementia is nearly as bad as that old fool in the Whitehouse. We do not need passports we need to get back to normality. I think Majid nawaz might be the only decent presenter left on LBC

ITV accuses BBC of buying up US shows in bid to ‘maximize’ audience figures among younger viewers

ITV told Ofcom BBC’s objective is to ‘maximize audience share of 16-34s’

According to The Daily Mail this Friday. ITV has posted a complaint to OFCOM about the BBC predator tactics on its ‘come-back’ for Channel 3, which they dropped, stating that it cost too much to run when they agreed to fund the over 75’s TV licenses (it was terms of government at the time to limit BBC pay awards and not raise the TV license above inflation). Well, they whinged, they cried, then looked at the BBC pension deficit, then pay awards and thought ‘SOD IT’ we can afford it, lets just squeeze ITV for the YOUTH market. Lets bring back Channel 3 for ‘da yoof’, as it looks good in The Guardian, ad left liberals and we can buy-in all the same CRAP as ITV.

So they did. They paid over the odds for American KIDS programming designed for ITV, that is now ending up on BBC channel 3 as they have no programming to fill the space. So the reason for it is unclear as the BBC clearly has paid over the odds at the same time it declares itself so short of money it has to jail the over 75’s it has had to ‘beg’ for the TV license to be upped to £159. It won’t be the last increase, its becoming an annual event. Until it is abolished entirely

The highlight for the BBC new channel is:
BBC has acquired Gossip Girl and ‘hugely popular’ Pokemon animated series

At one time the BBC tries to argue that all its its programs were ‘Made in Britain’ . There is no reason to maintain the TV license for ‘Pokemon’ or ‘Gossip Girl’, they already have CBBC and BBC iPlayer, why do they need another channel?

I hope the BBC get canned by OFCOM, but as usual, the BBC get away with murder or exploitation of its Charter, which serves no useful purpose.
