Dr Simone Gold, one of the originators of America’s Frontline Doctors, has been sentenced to sixty days in a federal prison.

On 6th January 2021 she was due to speak at a rally with President Trump. In her own words, “When that was canceled, a large crowd swept into the Capitol building after the doors were opened from the inside.

“Peacefully, I delivered my remarks peacefully (sic) from the Capitol rotunda.

“I am a victim of selective prosecution. I am being legally attacked for speaking the truth about COVID-19 and vaccines.

“I remain committed to activism for physicians’ free speech. As George Washington said, ‘If freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.'”

In the e-mail issued by Dr Gold today there follows a picture of her giving the speech in the Capitol with the caption, “Dr. Gold delivering prepared remarks at U.S. Capitol while police officer casually looks on.”

It’s possible hundreds of mercenaries will be captured when Severodonetsk falls. It will be interesting to see how the BBC spin that one. Or if they even report it.

Just reading the BBC reports on the war and they are completely misrepresenting it. They have this in the lead article:

‘… more heavy weapons to be sent urgently for Ukraine to be able to defend itself more effectively and liberate territories seized by Moscow since the start of the invasion on 24 February.’

There is zero chance they will liberate any territories except temporarily. It reminds me of an earlier BBC headline were the weapons were needed to ‘help win the war’.

Failing Tory Gove-rnment and let’s talk generic edition

Remember way back when we celebrated 1st January as the warmest day of the year so far?

Weather boffins: Don’t drink too much booze on hottest day of year. Weather killjoys are urging us NOT to drink too much alcohol today on the hottest day of the year (Daily Star) – suddenly everyone is a public health expert.

The Star’s carefully considered thought for the day is: Good luck with that one, boffins!

Mores the pity our media didn’t react with similar pithy common sense previously…

One didn’t need to be an economics expert to realise that two years of covid over-reaction paying half the population borrowed on the never-never and currency debasing furlough money to stay at home… that ill-begotten policy might just trash our future standard of living – just a tad.

Inflation to hit 11pc, says Bank of England (Telegraph) – supposedly, they had just the one job to do – manage inflation at around 2%

The Express raises the stakes: Shock as food prices to soar 15%

There was another way. Look at the statistics. Practically no one under 75 without co-morbidities was really in danger. Billions of public money poured into mass vaccination efforts could have been saved and instead of lining Big Pharma’s pockets medics could have utilised a few well known out-of-patent drugs.

Of course there was no opposition to CCP-patented lockdown policies allowed in the mainstream.

The Times chances its arm a smidgen this morning dipping a toe (to mix anatomical metaphores) into these murky waters: Doctors increase side-effect risk with pill for every ill – blame lazy GPs, NHS bottomless pit subsidised prescriptions and Big Pharma lobbying.

Interestingly, the Times (temporarily going up a notch or two in our humble estimation) also features this appeal on behalf of generic treatments – as recomended by old timey consumer group Which?: Cheap sun lotions put eco brands in the shade… it doesn’t have to cost the earth… Own-brand suncreams are better than expensive mineral-based alternatives.

The Times of course has to go with the double-digit inflation figure as its main headline but as a conservative- small government-leaning observer one has to admire this subheader: Gove says ministers unable to help everyone – well, quite.

Pity the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and Minister for Intergovernmental Relations didn’t channel his conservative roots back in 2021: Michael Gove: No 10 condemns anti-lockdown protesters over confrontation… Video footage circulating on social media shows the housing secretary being harangued by anti-lockdown protesters… Afterwards, Mr Gove tweeted to thank the Met police for their “swift reaction”, adding: “I’m grateful to their officers for their thoughtfulness.” (BBC October 2021)

How come Govey was singled out?

Boris Johnson warned not to listen to Michael Gove on Covid policy… TORY insiders have accused Boris Johnson of relying too much on Michael Gove for advice on Covid policy as the Prime Minister faces yet more criticism from his own party… Despite this, current and former Tory ministers have said that Gove is a “dangerous force” in the Cabinet and that he is pushing too hard for more restrictions… but has no direct brief for Covid policy… One senior Tory MP described Gove as the ring-leader of pro-lockdown ministers… Due to his positions in favour of lockdown during the first and second waves, one insider says that the stance is now “ingrained in him that this is what we need to do”. (A rare – if reasonably welcome (on this occasion) appearance hereabouts for the SNP-supporting news source The National circa December 2021)

So the specky, nerdy-looking Gove – nicknamed “the Octopus” due to him getting involved in matters for which he has no ministerial brief – thinks nanny State must protect us all with lockdowns during the China flu – but when the ecomonic faeces really hit the wind turbine, then it’s suddenly a case of sorry, government can’t help you all..?

The BBC Moaning Emole is worried about money, via a BBC survey.

Cutting back as living costs rise – survey reveals extent of concern

Turning off lights, switching supermarkets, having pizza at home instead of a Friday-night takeaway… many of us have been taking steps to cut back on household costs, with prices rising at their fastest rate for 40 years. But the extent to which people are struggling is highlighted in a BBC-commissioned survey of more than 4,000 people. Some 56% say they have bought fewer groceries, with the same proportion saying they had skipped meals. Four in every five people tell us they are worried about living costs – up from 69% at the turn of the year – with two-thirds of those with worries saying it’s having a negative effect on their mental health. And 45% say their physical health has been affected. See our full report to find out how people tell us they are cutting back.

Then there is the climate. Gary of course is cutting back by getting to Qatar by camel.

Temperatures rise again after hottest day

Have you filled up your ice cube trays? Remember to pack sun cream and carry bottled water wherever you go today. Because after temperatures of 29C (85.1F) in Northolt, west London, set another high for the year, the mercury is expected to rise even further. It could hit 34C in the south east of England later – hotter than parts of Jamaica and the Maldives – with highs of between 27C and 30C expected across much of England and Wales. That wouldn’t quite be a record for June – Southampton’s Mayflower Park recorded 35.6C in 1976. But it has nonetheless prompted the UK Health Security Agency and Met Office to issue a level three heat-health alert until midnight on Saturday. That urges people to look out for older people and be aware of signs of heat exhaustion, such as headache, dizziness, cramps, clammy skin and fast breathing.

Of course, many will miss out on such wisdom, rammed as they are in a cost of living crisis airport queue to get somewhere as hot. As British do whenever they can. Which parts of the Maldives are hosting a gaggle of bbc environmental reporters currently is anyone’s guess.

TOADY Watch #1 – the BBC are still, still, still obsessed with Lord Geidt’s resignation

Nick Robinson has emitted some CO2 to travel to Leeds to broadcast negatively about the Government and do some campaigning on behalf of the LackLustre Labour Party prior to the Wakefield By-election. Prior to the 7 a.m. news, Lord Geidt was mentioned along with Donald Trump, no doubt with the BBC hoping that Donald Trump and Boris Johnson will be in future permanently bracketed together with some handcuffs.

Hopefully Nick has travelled by train – to keep his CO2 emissions low in BBC approved fashion – and will be stuck in Leeds because of the rail strikes. I suspect, however, he has travelled by car on BBC expenses with very expensive petrol. Stop paying the TellyTax, “you know it makes sense” and you cannot afford it because of the-cost-of-living-crisis.

Meanwhile JustRemainIn Webb in London is back to Lord Geidt.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-61835919

I’ve noticed recently that the overwhelmingly positive picture the BBC have been painting for Biden has been changing and now they are starting to criticise things about him (non-agenda only of course) and have acknowledged his plummeting approval ratings (though they still will not acknowledge he is less popular than Trump was).

I wonder if they are starting to realise what a massive mistake they have made and are now shifting to appear a little more balanced in anticipation of the November elections and a Republican takeover.

Too late BBC : some of the blood he has spilled, the complete racist fracture of Western society and so many dead in Ukraine because of an emboldened Russia taking advantage of the weakest President the USA has ever had is DIRECTLY your fault.

I believe given a coming economic catastrophy in the West not being covered at all in the media is absolute proof of the medias left wing bias, because they simply cannot understand any of what is happening around them.

TOADY Watch #3 – just when you thought the MP Prime Minister was dim to be snared by ‘Partygate’ along comes another dim MP

Jake Berry MP, Chair of the Conservative Party’s Northern Research Group is interviewed by Nick Robinson. Jake wants more Devolution, more Government for cities and regions in the UK. How stupid is that? More Government = more taxes, not reduced taxes. More Government = more salaried politicians. More Government = more spending (and therefore more taxes) on fancy ‘secure’, ‘modern’, local parliament buildings (and their heating and lighting at today’s prices!), and more and more support staff in addition.

I have a Thatcher quote in response to Jake Berry MP: “No, no, NO!”

Dr Snuffy is highly allergic to more Government and would say to John Major, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, David Cameron (with or without Nick Clegg) Theresa May, Boris Johnson and Jake Berry MP, if they were in my Consulting Room: “Have you thought of cutting back? You really ought to, you know.”

Details are still emerging on exactly how this tragedy occurred at Gatwick but my thoughts are with this poor passenger and his family.
I know all too well the sense of immense frustration as you watch all the other passengers disembark and you are left stranded on an empty plane waiting for ground staff to retrieve your wheelchair and get you off.
This is not the first time a passenger with restricted mobility has taken matters into their own hands.
In August 2017, Justine Levine famously dragged himself across the floor of Luton Airport after staff were unable to retrieve his wheelchair. They had offered to strap him into an airport chair and push him through the terminal but Levine, a fitness enthusiast, declined, saying this compromised his independence.
This latest incident ought, in theory, to lead to better treatment of disabled passengers and those with restricted mobility. But, historically their needs do not appear to have been a high priority at many British airports.

If you’d travelled across the world to pursue a better life, would you move back in return for money?

Germany is betting that the answer is yes.

The country has long offered migrants and asylum seekers financial incentives to leave its shores, and until 28 February 2018 it’s prepared to pay out extra.

Individuals will get €1,000 and families up to €3,000 (£2,650; $3,540) to cover rent or resettlement costs back in their home countries – things like basic kitchen or bathroom facilities.

Critics say Angela Merkel’s government is trying to bribe its way out of a tricky situation, but supporters say the scheme will help sad, exhausted migrants who just want to go home.

Germany is by no means first to this approach. So where else has done it – and is it morally wrong?

It’s a baseless, childish and very personal vendetta to bring Boris down as he is the key reason why Labour cannot make any headway.

Yes indeed, Labour will benefit. But I am seeing a different pattern. It is the media who are benefiting, they are replacing the political parties, and Johnson is a target. If Starmer gets in he will know that he is there by the grace of the BBC and will obey his bosses

I think its not just Labour..

There is obviously a clique in the Tory Party who want Boris out. There has been a constant and well timed drip drip drip of anti Boris and anti government comment and innuendo for some time.

There are obviously conversations going on behind the scenes to maximise the effect and i wouldnt be surprised if the BBC was involved.

The latest shot across the PM’s bow is the resignation of Lord Geidt, obviously timed for maximum effect.

The sad part about all of this, people are falling for it and that includes Tory MP’s…

These MP’s are too stupid to understand that, like him or loathe him (I’m ambivalent), Boris is the only reason they are currently in government. Although there is also a good chance that he will also be the reason that they’re not after the next election.

Don’t forget what the Emir of London said about Red Boris. He’s no good for the country and he has to go, but in terms of him enhancing Labours electoral chances we want him to stay.

Or the internal Tory party documents which describe Red Boris as being as electable as Jeremy Corbyn, to whom is perhaps the closest in terms of political opinion unless there are other far left loons hanging around.

I understand that the media is trying to get rid of him, but then I have to question what their ultimate aim is other than to generate a story, or claim a scalp. Perhaps it would be to get a remainer into power, but one thing is certain Red Boris is not up to the job of Prime Minister, he is bereft of ideas, and also lazy. His premiership has been market by inaction and lack of progress. plus economic ruination. It suits me as a small c conservative to see a far Left Socialist forced from power.

There is an article about electric cars on the bbc containing the usual propoganda, but this caught my eye :-

“Filling the tank of a 47-litre family hatchback with petrol now costs about £85, or £88 for diesel.”

47 litres? Now that is a BIG engine. Most cars are about 1.2 litres, so I can’t imagine who would want a 47 litre family hatchback.
The petrol tank, of course, could be 47 litres, but that’s not what it says there.

    BAN F1?

What is this? Regarding weight allocation for the recommended fuel allowance, the cars must carry 105 kilograms onboard. For a total race distance of 305 kilometers, we can estimate that the fuel consumption for an F1 car is around 46 liters per 100 kilometers or about 6 miles per gallon.

It might be HOT! But its the BBC that finds itself in hot water…And has been forced to admit it was wrong (again) on climate predictions. Desperate to impose compulsory LICENSES for everything – not just TV license. Everything : Births, Sex, Food, Gas CArbon Credits) , Industry all bound up in the new (EU) ESG* legislation passed this year.

*ESG (is another tax on the economy. A public paid for ‘socialism’ as global taxes are raised and income tax falls for governments (designed to by pass democratic governments) as social strife is predictable and ‘encouraged’. i.e the world run by the EU mindset, by global corporations. Not unlike the BBC license fee- which is a tax for owning a TV.

We complain and the BBC ignore us. But we shall win, when the BBC is forced to admit it was wrong….

BBC forced to admit it was wrong.. (Paul Holmwood)
    (quote)

“The report outlines criticisms that the BBC has been forced to correct false claims in climate-related coverage after receiving public complaints in recent years.

Accusing the broadcaster of “institutional alarmism” and “persistent exaggeration,” the report (pdf) highlighted that BBC’s own investigations department upheld investigations about its climate reporting. Furthermore, critics say the BBC’s lack of opposing perspectives means it is now promoting a “green ideological view of the world.”

    Examples:

    (1) ‘Persistent Exaggeration’

For example in October 2020, the National Farmers‘ Union complained about a BBC documentary “Meat: A Threat to our Planet,” which made several unsubstantiated claims about meat production. The complaint was brought to the British broadcaster regulator OFCOM when the BBC failed to provide a timely response.

The complaint was upheld and the documentary was removed from BBC’s iPlayer.

    False claims:

    (2) In April 2022, the BBC upheld two complaints against its climate editor Justin Rowlatt. Both concerned an episode of Panorama, the BBC’s flagship current affairs documentary programme, which aired in November 2021, called “Wild Weather: Our World Under Threat.”

Rowlatt wrote at the beginning of the programme that “the world is getting warmer and our weather is getting ever more unpredictable and dangerous. The death toll is rising around the world, and the forecast is that worse is to come.”

The BBC’s Executive Complaints Unit (ECU) found that “BBC News accepted the wording in the programme was not as clear as it should have been,” noting that “the number of deaths caused by such disasters has fallen because of improved early warnings and disaster management.”

BBC found taking a GARY LIENEKAR position on scientific debate…

    (3) In 2018, Carbon Brief posted a crib sheet that included the BBC’s “editorial policy” and “position” on climate change.

“Be aware of ‘false balance,’” wrote the BBC. “To achieve impartiality, you do not need to include outright deniers of climate change in BBC coverage, in the same way you would not have someone denying that Manchester United won 2-0 last Saturday,” it added.

But Peiser said that it was inevitable that bans of any critics or skeptics would lead to “exaggerations of issues.” “There’s no scrutiny,” he said.

    GLOBAL GREEN DREAMS (Greta-the-Great)

It all points back to the EU and its ‘friends’ at the UN, WEF, IPCC for ‘urgent action’
for global socialism (renamed as ESG payments) and Carbon taxes. A money0tree not unlike the BBC TV license. Anything made or traded IS TAXED!

    (3) “The BBC abandoned debate and impartiality on environment and climate change as a matter of editorial and institutional policy in recent decades, first refusing to allow people seemingly outside of the consensus to appear on shows, and later in reframing its mission to be an active participant in politics, a campaigning organisation which used its vast resources to promote the green ideological view of the world,”

...“But individuals within the organisation, and the management took it upon themselves, albeit after pressure from the broader movement, to align themselves with the green agenda.

An end of the world BBC scenario is NOT based on Scientific debate, but politics.
A global politics that has a ‘common purpose’ to side step democracy and impose a Stalinist (so called liberal) agenda built around EU perspectives and predictions that have been found false. Yet again. Science ignored if it does not fit the UN/EU agenda,

Environmentalism skeptic Ben Pile, co-founder of the Climate Resistance blog, told The Epoch Times that he believed the public has been “denied debate.” Referring to the BBC.

BBC impartiality = Ministry of disinformation = Global indoctrination program.

I have a friend who lives in Australia, spoke to her today and she told me about the astonishing speed at which the newly elected Labour government has managed to wreck the Australian electricity supply.

First they decided to put a cap on energy prices which was below the cost producers could generate it, this resulted in rolling blackouts as they turned off the least efficient stations, so the unbelievably stupid Socialists decided that if they couldn’t guarantee continuous supply they would ban them from the grid, thus they generate and contribute nothing, but save a lot of money into the bargain.

So now at night Australia is dark more or less everywhere and friend told me everyone is having to buy high power spot lamps for cars because hitting a roo at speed will probably kill you and certainly wreck your vehicle.

It makes me wonder how many times stupid stupid people will believe the lies and fall for what is effectively an adult version of the child catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, because they are too dim to see past the lies.

The Great Leap Forward (Second Five Year Plan) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) was an economic and social campaign led by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from 1958 to 1962. Chairman Mao Zedong launched the campaign to reconstruct the country from an agrarian economy into a communist society through the formation of people’s communes. Mao decreed that efforts to multiply grain yields and bring industry to the countryside should be increased. Local officials were fearful of Anti-Rightist Campaigns and they competed to fulfill or over-fulfill quotas which were based on Mao’s exaggerated claims, collecting non-existent “surpluses” and leaving farmers to starve to death. Higher officials did not dare to report the economic disaster which was being caused by these policies, and national officials, blaming bad weather for the decline in food output, took little or no action. Millions of people died in China during the Great Leap, with estimates ranging from 15 to 55 million, making the Great Chinese Famine the largest or second-largest[1] famine in human history.

THanks for keeping on reminding us of this. When you couple this story with the Lady of Heaven film ban , precipitated because the cinema chain feared what the Muslims would do if they continued to show it, plus many other examples , it is impossible not to be frightened of the future in the UK.
Yet the liberals still refuse to acknowledge that there is any need to even stop more Muslims arriving everyday, let alone take steps to force those already here to conform to our way of life and ditch their mediaeval practises.
That Islam is incompatible with the western way of life has been demonstrated week in week out for decades but our politicians simply refuse to admit this and continue to place us all in great danger .
The past forty or fifty years has seen a great betrayal of the British people by its liberal elite . A betrayal for which we will all pay a heavy price not too far down the road.
