SkyNews says the Unite Union hotel scandal has moved further
Two bombshell independent reports into alleged corruption at one of the UK’s largest trade unions are to be handed to the police after “potential criminality” was discovered.

Sky News understands that the two separate probes into Unite The Union – one conducted by a senior lawyer and the other by an accountancy firm – found evidence of “eye-watering” overcharging on large contracts.

“There was pricing and overcharging that would make your eyes bleed”, said a source. ”
There are such discrepancies in the money that the police *may* want to take things further

      Is that actually PJW ?
I already on the previous page posted that Maxi was omitting important context in his attempted gotcha
There is no actual video, just an old story from May with an audio that sounds like PJWs voice.

      #1 The comment was whataboutery

#2 It made a huge claim about PJW
but supplied no evidence or context
There is no video of PJW ever saying anything like that.
Rather in May2022 the wacky conspiracy theory website The BylineTimes said they had an audio recording of a voice like PJWs saying that,
they claimed it was off the cuff at a party.
AFAIK they never gave more evidence than, ‘oh some people say it was him

Friday evening, Oxford Street London. I can report it very busy, not much sign of Londoners choosing between eating and heating. On my return to Oxford Circus around 10.30pm people were pouring into night clubs and bars. I don’t think that is a cheap evening out. How would the BBC report things?

LOL. Just heard striking postal worker on news; “If we don’t get what we want Royal Mail will be just another parcel delivery firm with parcels left on doorstep rather than from handed to you by a friendly postal worker”. My parcel sent last Friday on a Royal Mail 48-hour tracked delivery service. Arrived at local sorting office 1.30 Monday morning. Delivered to me, 3 miles away, Wednesday evening 62 hours later (and left on my doorstep!). I ordered a CH pump yesterday afternoon and delivered (by DPD) this morning (and handed to me). Central heating now working but my response to lady postal worker still cold.

“‘Keep your mouth shut you f***ing t***’: Emi Martinez yells abuse at a Dutch rival after Argentina’s World Cup win as Lionel Messi calls out ‘a fool’ in a TV interview before confronting Louis van Gaal

Argentina beat Holland on penalties in an ill-tempered World Cup quarter-final
The game saw 15 yellow cards handed out plus a red card after the match
Both sets of players clashed on numerous occasions during and after the game
Emi Martinez yelled abuse at the Holland bench following the final whistle
Lionel Messi was also angry and called out some of Holland’s staff afterwards”

Argentina progressed to the semi-finals following a bad-tempered game that saw an astonishing 14 bookings over the course of 128 minutes – six for the Netherlands, eight for Argentina – plus a yellow card for Argentina assistant Walter Samuel and a red card for Denzel Dumfries.

The two sets of players clashed after the final whistle, and Martinez was at the heart of it as he launched abuse towards the opposition dugout. ‘Keep your mouth shut you f***ing t***! I f***ed you twice!’ he said.

Several players made gestures towards the Dutch team who looked devastated following their gut-wrenching defeat. ”

    Today

Do you know when you listen to the BBC and know you are missing something . ? Two green crap disciples chatting to each other ‘multimillionaire John Kerry’ chatting with Justin Rowlatt – an extremist green about the new UK coal mine .

Kerry tried to avoid criticism a Uk cola mine by saying he’d have to go away and look at it . Rowlatt let him off . Kerry said the us was closing coal powered stations .

But go look at wiki for world coal production ….. the US is the 4th largest producer . The UK doesn’t make the list .

Yet the BBC wants to crush this coal mine – the jobs and money that goes with it .

Yet the BBC attitude to the closure of coal mines in the 1980s ? Evil – destroyed ‘communities ‘ ….. wtf ?

Imagine if those mines were being closed now – in the name of the Green Crap God …?

      Absolutely.
I heard this cringe fest which removed all doubt that the BBC are fully paid up members of the eco-loons. The only thing missing is a pink boat in the front courtyard of New Broadcasting House. Which incidentally is just down the road from Oxford Circus which is where the police actually stood by while the pink boat caused havoc the other year.

That cosy chat between fellow travellers (can anyone really call it an interview) failed to mention that the Cumbria coal mine is not designed for electricity generation but for steel production. They treated it as if it were for the former. And of course there was no mention of China.

The left clearly want to undermine the West as much as possible so that their friends in other places can take over the world.

“Grant Wahl, 48, collapsed as extra time began in the Argentina-Netherlands game on Friday night.

Early reports suggest he may have had a heart attack, but this has yet to be officially confirmed.

Last month Mr Wahl was briefly detained by Qatari authorities for trying to enter a stadium wearing a rainbow shirt, in support of LGBT rights.

Mr Wahl wrote on his website on Monday that he had been unwell in the last 10 days and was on a course of antibiotics for suspected bronchitis.”

Heart? Wonder if he had the covid ‘vaccine’..
Or maybe death via the sheer stress of worrying himself sick about camp LGBT issues.
Very considerate of him to sit in a busy room and enter a stadium with a highly contagious ‘suspected’ condition..

The French and late letters edition

Whilst the red tops today are keen to be seen geeing up our lads in Qatar, the left-leaners with pretentions, just couldn’t be bothered…

Dawn O’Porter Being stylish isn’t about effort  (‘i’); How to be sexier (without much effort) (Guardian) – fair play, football isn’t compulsory, ladies – but if you did make a bit of an effort us chaps might take more notice, despite the World Cup.

The cost of the Lockdown crisis was compulsory, however. Blame the prolonging of the Ukraine war, if you prefer. We didn’t vote for that either.

NHS winter crisis errupts after years of warnings (‘i’) – let’s pick the saw bones out of this one… correct, the NHS has cried wolf consistently year after year as regular as the clocks going back and the nights drawing in. The ‘i’ newspaper check-listing bullet points as is their wont provides the whole litany of late ambulances, long waiting lists and worried parents overwhelming A&E by presenting there (presumably as default having been put off by the byzantine difficulty of contacting a GP) concerned about their infectious kids suddenly re-exposed to the herd after two winters of being confined in a bubble. Our public health experts literally demanded the creation of bubbles.

What we never get from the NHS is the cure, the prescription, the remedy – other than… let’s guess… more funding? We never seem allowed to question the basic free-at-the-point-of-promise/rationed by waiting list basis of the NHS socialist philosopy.

In a moment of momentary semi-realisation Sophie Ridge in the ‘i’ complains: Interviewing Labour MPs is frustrating – they refuse to answer questions

The Guardian takes up the theme of NHS woes with a distinctly feminist twist: ‘Bullyboy’ Barclay is to blame for nurses’ strike – union boss… Health secretary is ‘unwilling to negotiate with a woman acting for largely female workforce’

So what’s the problem with the rail unions? How come the transport secretary won’t talk with macho man Mick Lynch of the RMT?

Feminism – the last refuge of the scoundrel-ette

The formerly patriotic Times reminds us there’s: Misery on the railways every day for a month

Plus: A cheat’s guide to Christmas

The Telegraph notes: Christmas cards ‘won’t arrive until February’ – can we blame this one on ministerial male chauvinism against our many short trousered hairy-legged out in all weathers posties?

.. this is a new blue labour legislation aimed at stopping all contact between chaps and non – chaps – I somehow see an unvoiced subtext that it is really aimed at third world invaders who think all white British girls of any and all ages are ‘up for it ‘….

Talking of sex – oh yes – the habit in the World Cup of picking out ‘hot’ lady footy supporters in the crowd – done in the last World Cup – and followed in this one – remains happily ignored by the msm – although wimmins hour will do a ‘special ‘on it …

What I don’t understand is the over egging of this cold spell. Frequent forecasts of snow when none falls. We nearly brought forward a long journey because of it, but didn’t, and not a problem. Forecasts highlight temperatures of minus eight or minus 10. Then I look at the chart (this is BBC weather) and see the map plastered with plus 3s or 4s daytime temperature. Not sure how all this fits in with their climate crisis, I just know it will.

Ever since the 87 gales the BBC are scared witless of failing to advise a significant weather event. Perhaps they are afraid of some litigious activity. Thus even the mere possibility of a brief shower brings warnings of biblical floods, pestilence, and famine.
Having survived the Jan 82 cold spell when rivers froze over, car engine oil solidified, ina house with no central heating (bedroom temperature 9C) the fuss about the current weather strikes me as being absolutely pathetic but a tribute to todays woke, entitled, soft as butter, spineless cliques.

    7 Dec 2022
PROF: RYSZARD LEGUTKO: “Two minutes of truth, of bitter truth” in the European Parliament

During ceremony of the 70th anniversary of the European Parliament, the European Conservatives and Reformists made cutting criticisms. Speaking on behalf of the Group, Chairman Professor Ryszard Legutko pointed out that in the strict sense it is only a quasi-parliament, alienating millions of voters.

“Madam President, Prime Ministers. Two minutes of truth, of bitter truth. And the bitter truth is that the European Parliament has done a lot of damage in Europe. It has been sending a false message it represents the European demos. There isn’t, and there won’t be any European demos. The Parliament infected Europe with shameless partisanship and the infection became so contagious that it spread to other institutions such as the European Commission.

The Parliament has abandoned the basic function of representing people. Instead, it has become a machine to implement the so-called European project, thus alienating millions of voters. The Parliament has become a political vehicle of the left to impose their monopoly with their fierce intolerance towards any dissenting view. No matter how many times you repeat the word ‘diversity’. Diversity is becoming an extinct species in the European Union and particularly in this chamber.

The Parliament is a quasi-parliament because it rejects the essential principle of parliamentarism, namely accountability. The deputy – let me remind you – is elected by the voters and must be accountable to the voters that elected him. Not so in the European Union. The idea that, say, Spanish, German, French, et cetera, deputies accountable to their own national electorates can dictate something to, shall we say, Hungarian society or any other society to which they cannot be held accountable and which cannot take them to task is simply preposterous.

Call it what you will. But democracy, it is not. To sum up, the Parliament represents the demos that does not exist, works for the project that ignores reality and law, shuns accountability, turns its back on millions of people and serves the interest of one political orientation. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. Having said that, ladies and gentlemen, I rest my case.”

From what I’ve seen, the BBC seem to have adopted a generally favourable and uncritical response to the pile of ordure that is “Harry and Meghan”.

Well, they would, wouldn’t they? Anti-British, anti-Commonwealth, anti-Empire, anti-Brexit, far-woke, throwing out wild accusations of racism at all and sundry, namely the media, the Royal Family, and the general public – they share the BBC’s core values.

What’s not to like, eh Beeb?

Staying out the spotlight can be a sensible option, as Marlene is now finding.

However, Reg is a bbc fave as the girls do love their tantrums and tiaras.

        And some of the wimmin.

What a complete farce that story is and absolutely shameful for the BBC to give it so much support and credance. It’s a few paragraphs giving a free soapbox – at the licence fee payers expense – to a racist black activist looking for more attention and then devotes the rest of the lengthy article to re-tell the whole story yet again.

This is what they do to keep an agenda story current. They did it with the scumbag Floyd then Trump, Boris and now this woman.

Why should the public be forced to fund extreme-left activists at the BBC ?.

Earlier some people* here were scoffing about cold weather news
    Actually snow closed Manchester airport

“Operations have resumed from one of our runways since 11:30am.”

    North West Motorway Police tweeted
: “Snow fall this morning is causing surface water on the regions motorways.
    “We are currently dealing with RTC’s on the M58, M62, M61 & A556

Of course Scottish mountains had snow weeks ago

TalkTV is pushing the “Go Kart Christmas alternative advert”
    just like the other media
Alternative Christmas advert depicting a young widower struggling to buy his son a present, working by candlelight and going hungry amid the cost of living crisis leaves viewers sobbing as it is dubbed ‘better than John Lewis’

“Oh this one will make you cry”
Oh of course it will, especially if you prime me like that
but I am sceptical of all advertising
It often uses manipulation and children to hook us.

In any decent Country with backbone that had not totally lost the plot and gone batshit crazy like the deviant-ridden US this geezer would be hauled into court for child grooming and handed a custodial sentence plus a place on the sex offenders register. And would certainly never teach kids again.

Isn’t it nice when others notice the BBC’s duplicity and anti English seditiousness..

England are on top in the test match and on BBC sport webshite they report on the match and then allow a HYS.

CCBGB as we sometimes say. Check out the top rated while you can. Thanks to ‘Bath’ who writes as follows.

Don’t you just love it! ‘Pakistan’s collapse hands control to England, and ‘England have been gifted a dominant position by the Pakistan implosion’. So very BBC. It is just so difficult to say England have bowled brilliantly and put Pakistan under immense pressure, therefore stifling their batting. Oh no, when England do well at anything it is usually because of the incompetence of the opponents

The message is gradually getting across.

Here is yet another measure of how out of touch the rotten BBC is with normal people.

Its coverage and commentary of Harry and Meghan, while not exactly ecstatic, has been broadly favourable, relishing especially the claims of racism. (Alleged racism is irresistible to the BBC, who are drawn to it like flies to you-know-what.)

Meanwhile, in the real world, the response to the doco has been excoriating. It received an abysmal 12% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the vast majority of ratings being 1/2 and 1 star. And that includes American audiences who are easily taken in by all their woke, new-age Gobbledigook.

The overwhelming majority of comments are savage too.

Once again, the metropolitan elites at the BBC haven’t got a clue what real people are thinking.

The MSM is starting to piece together the background to the self destruction of Mary Elizabeth Truss as a 44 day? PM .

The over inflated Nick Robinson has done a documentary where some of those involved have given accounts . Today The Times has something about the over promoted Kwazi ……

…. It’s a hard listen for someone like me who mistakenly thought there might finally be a Conservative in number 10 – or the nearest thing in current circumstances …. But instead we got that idiot .

I don’t know if she is getting the lifetime PM pension – I bet she is – but let’s hope we never hear from her again .

I think our country has to descend further before someone of the Right takes control – but not in the foreseeable future ..

      They don’t get a pension
Thy can claim expenses limited expenses up to £115K

“The costs are a reimbursement of incurred expenses for necessary office costs and secretarial costs arising from their special position in public life. The allowance is not paid to support private or parliamentary duties.

BTW in January 2022 Gina Miller Tfounded the True & Fair Party
        @VoteTrueAndFair
“Fixing our broken politics, making voting fairer – because we all deserve better”

        Then I spot them tweeting
“Boris Johnson and Liz Truss will be able to claim £115,000 a year from the taxpayer, for life.
        Is this fair?”

That is not a FAIR claim, cos it’s not £115K salary or pension
It’s just the limit on expenses
They are supposed to show results

Theresa May did claim £58K last year

However somehow Tony Blair and John Major seem to make their ex-PM expenses claim £115K each year and have claimed about £2m each

Many in the UK will hope Morocco win because they despise the preening peacock Ronaldo and recall him getting Rooney sent off and winking to the bench.

The bbc staff meanwhile, will be creaming their panties and having a group w@nk if Morocco win just because they are arabs and not white European, especially English.
