If you look at the app thing that tells us about UK power production – at this time it is flat out -with wind power on about 1% ……
The green nazis would say cover the land with wind farms – and get 1% supply …. More nuclear is probably 15 years away …..

Worth checking but think the Lib Dems during the 2010 coalition vetoed new Nuclear.

And here we are, a decade later, with no new nuclear.about to open.

Thus it is shown the LibDems are all about tactics and gripping on the coat tails of the woke populist flavour of the month. They have nothing strategic whatever to offer.

“Hinkley Point C in Somerset will now be operational in June 2026, EDF has said”
      It’s 3.2GW continuous baseload 24 hour x 365 days

That’s 80 times more power than a 40MW biomass straw burning power plant delivers

Unclear if this is Blarite rubbing of noses, or Brexit related, but seems unwise to copy.

“Very” win the TV diversity tv commercial prize. Just caught the latest one of a “typical family Christmas” and the only race missing in members of the family were probably Inuits or Russians.

Even a Martian would have been at home in this commercial.

There are some very, very weird people in the ad world.

digg, if memory serves me well there are extra rules to be followed if an advert is to be seen in the EU. I was visiting an agency one time and I was told something wouldn’t do for this ad because it would be shown in Germany with sub-titles/voice overs. I guess some Agencies just go over the top to be on the ‘safe side of legislation’.
