    Just an observation…

A week or so before Christmas a middle-aged white Christian woman was arrested for “silently praying”, while standing some distance from an abortion centre. She held no placards and didn’t utter a word. She just stood there.

This week (what appears to be) a heavily camouflaged, black paramilitary unit, turned up outside a school in Ashford, Surrey. There had been a well publicised attack on a black schoolgirl a day or two earlier. We know nothing of the reasons for the assault and I’m guessing that if they do know the media will be in no rush to inform us.

However, my point is this; plod stood idly by while a whole tribe of these camouflaged paramilitary types swarmed on the school and started chanting.

“It was a peaceful protest” a police spokesman told the BBC. “There was no need to intervene.”

FFS, surely it can’t have been more peaceful than standing in silence…

    • Thoughtful says:

To be fair there were special laws in place of the ‘silent prayer’ which banned certain actions including praying, the silly woman admitted to a crime when asked making it impossible for plod to do anything but arrest her.

Yes @Thoughtful I have little sympathy for ‘silent prayer’ woman
It was clearly against the law.

However demonstrating wearing a uniform seems illegal
The Public Order Act 1936 prohibits by law paramilitary and political uniforms.

Section one of the act states: “Any person who in any public place or at any public meeting wears uniform signifying his association with any political organisation or with the promotion of any political object shall be guilty of an offence.”`

The act was used extensively against the supporters of the terrorist Irish Republican Army (IRA) during the 1970s, and in recent years against the Christian nationalist group Britain First, with police arresting leaders Paul Golding and Jayda Fransen for taking a “Christian patrol” through the streets of Luton in 2016 while wearing Britain First lapel badges

The law creates a carve-out for wearing uniforms on “any ceremonial, anniversary, or other special occasion” and “will not be likely to involve risk of public disorder”.

As ever what counts is not how it’s written
but rather how it works in the real world
And in the real world the UK has two tier justice
A court would judge a lefty innocent, whilst a righty in the same situation would be treated harshly.

FFS, I despair when I hear that pathetic, mealy mouthed, statement “It was clearly against the law.” God help us…

A couple of years ago people like you were saying the self-same thing when a couple of elderly women were arrested for sitting on a park bench, or some bloke got nicked for walking his dog. “It’s against the law!”

The law is an ass and those cretins that are supposed to uphold it are only too willing to arrest a middle-aged white Christian, but turn a blind eye to paramilitary intimidation and statues being ripped down by thugs. There are laws against those actions too.

          Keep saying the mantra…

“It was clearly against the law!”!

Yep, give it 20 years and King Charles – if he’s still around, will be head of an Islamic State.

And that’s without this year’s intake of the bearded ba……ds ! It will take more than one riot in Liverpool at a refugee hotel for the Government to do anything.

The immigrants make their way north, having no desire to assimilate to French culture, but continuing to demand a First World standard of living, even as they flout laws, do not produce, and murder French citizens, such as factory bosses and shopkeepers, as well as the ordinary people who do not welcome them. They are also joined by the immigrants who already reside in Europe, as well as various left-wing and anarchist groups. Across the West, more and more migrants arrive and have children, rapidly growing to outnumber whites. In a matter of months, the white West has been overrun and pro-immigrant governments have been established, while the white people are ordered to share their houses and flats with the immigrants. The village containing the troops is bombed flat by airplanes of the new French government, referred to only as the “Paris Multiracial Commune”. Within a few years, most Western governments have surrendered. The mayor of New York City is made to share Gracie Mansion with three African-American families from Harlem; migrants gather at coastal ports in West Africa and South Asia and swarm into Europe, Australia, and New Zealand; London is taken over by an organization of non-white residents known as the “Non-European Commonwealth Committee”, who force the British queen to have her son marry a Pakistani woman; millions of black Africans from around the continent gather at the Limpopo River and invade South Africa; and only one drunken Soviet soldier stands in the way of hundreds of thousands of Chinese peasants as they overrun Siberia.

Holocaust survivor, Vera Sharav, has just produced a five part documentary called “Never Again is Now Global” which features personal stories from fellow Holocaust survivors and their descendants, about Covid-related suspension of freedoms, imposition of lockdowns, coerced medical procedures and mandates and vaccine passports, which echo the measures put in place in Nazi Germany. Critical independent thinking, disobeying criminal mandates, and understanding that one’s rights come from God and not from the government are essential to winning this fight and to bringing the Covid criminals to justice, maintained Vera.

“Is the liberal elite’s odd obsession with the Right helping to create a British Stasi?

We have seen, in the past few weeks, Big Brother Watch’s fascinating probe into British Government surveillance of dissenters over the state Covid policy.

Almost everyone is by now aware that the organisation formerly known as ‘the police’ are now a radical Left-wing body, flyers of the rainbow flag, very ready to pounce on traditional street preachers or on social-media posters who don’t play along with the sexual and transgender revolution.

But there is a third pillar of this, which has bothered me for some time, and is now rightly troubling William Shawcross, a distinguished public servant. Mr Shawcross examined Prevent, a supposed counter-terrorism programme. And he noticed something very strange about it.

Most people would probably agree that the most pressing danger of terrorism in modern Britain comes from fanatical Islamists, followers of Islamic State or Al Qaeda.

But, as Mr Shawcross notes, Prevent has something close to an obsession with what it calls ‘Right-wing extremism’.

He writes: ‘Prevent must address all extremist ideologies proportionately according to the threat each represents. However, my research shows that the present boundaries around what is termed by Prevent as extremist Islamist ideology are drawn too narrowly – while the boundaries around the ideology of the extreme Right-wing are too broad. This does not allow Prevent to reflect accurately, and deal effectively with, the lethal risks we actually face.’

He adds: ‘Prevent has a double standard when dealing with the extreme Right-wing and Islamism. Prevent takes an expansive approach to the extreme Right-wing, capturing a variety of influences that, at times, has been so broad it has included mildly controversial or provocative forms of mainstream, Right-wing leaning commentary that have no meaningful connection to terrorism or radicalisation. However, with Islamism, Prevent tends to take a much narrower approach centred around proscribed organisations.’

Mr Shawcross looked at reports from Prevent’s Research, Information and Communications Unit (RICU) and found ‘one RICU analysis product from 2020 on Right-wing terrorist and extremist activity online which referenced books by mainstream British conservative commentators as “key cultural nationalist ideological texts”. The same document listed “key texts” for white nationalists as including historic works of the Western philosophic and literary canon’.

Another RICU document ‘listed a prominent Conservative politician and former member of the government as being among figures “associated with far-Right sympathetic audiences, and Brexit” ’.

The keystone of this wobbly arch of ‘Right-wing extremism’ is the miserable figure of Thomas Mair, who murdered the much-loved and much-missed Jo Cox MP during the 2016 referendum campaign.

Plainly Mair did the savage crime and ought to be locked up. But it matters greatly what he is locked up for. This was a man who went about the streets wearing Marigold gloves and tried to wash his own skin with Brillo pads.

ITV news reported on November 23, 2016, that ‘Mair suffered from mental health issues for much of his life and had volunteered with a mental health charity near his home in Birstall. But details of his health records were ruled inadmissible at his trial after the judge said his mental health was not relevant to the murder of Jo Cox’.

How can it not have been relevant? There is, in fact, scant evidence that Mair had been in touch with any political group, though he seems to have bought and perhaps read some Neo-Nazi publications.

Crazy people often attach themselves to political causes, or to major religions, to make themselves seem more important. But we are wise if we do not take this too seriously.

I believe the Mair case has been treated in this way because parts of our elite genuinely think that there is a ‘Right-wing extremist’ threat and wish to mobilise the police, the courts and MI5 against it. Where will this go, and where will it end?”

And – of course – they use it to re-run the original agenda story which has absolutely nothing to do with the article. Here is what they wrote:

‘Labour MP Mrs Cox was fatally shot and stabbed outside her constituency office in West Yorkshire by a far-right extremist during the EU Referendum campaign in 2016.’

The BBC have never wanted this guy because he isn’t a Lefty and now this campaign to get rid of him is going on day after day just like their previous successful campaigns to force out all the other Tories who support Brexit and/or abolishing the license fee.

But that’s not the reason for my post : it’s because it is a perfect example of how they do it. They apply so much pressure by abusing their power that the person HAS to resign, even when there is no reason they should.

I will presume this has gone out on that ‘trusted news feed’ the BBC orchestrated and which they use to swamp all the news feeds with their agenda. I put ‘BBC chairman made errors on Johnson loan’ into google and it simultaneously appeared overnight on no less than 34 different news sites!!!.

Mark my words : this will continue until he resigns. And OFCOM will be silent.

    Cold spoon edition

For a fleeting moment Mr AsI thought the lefty Guardian-on-Sunday crew over there at the Observer had finally fallen out of line with the Ukraine warmongering unanimity of our media, as he glanced at their frontpage top right-hand corner: “No War” was the slogan boldly emblazoned on a Greenpeace banner pictured there.

A poignant counter blast perhaps to the Daily Express and their daily masthead flag-waving of the blue and yellow?

But no. One took just a second more to read on: The Great March. Tim Adams on the Iraq war protest, 20 years on – Ah, that’ll be the safe non-controversal, two decades in the rearview mirror, anti-war stance.

The Sunday Times reminds us we don’t (or can’t) manufacture anything over here anymore: British weapons could be made in Ukraine – in our globalised world everything is outsourced these days – even our wars are by proxy.

The Science… we’ve followed it, they love it…

Valentines Day approaches and one senses romance in the air. However, the Observer tends to dispell the inefable, the magic, the mystery, and instead – as is the trend of late in our left-liberal media – it goes with the science bit: The science of romance – please don’t conjure the image of Whitty and Vallance…

We know global warming is a mainly bourgeois concern, however, the Sunday Times attempts to raise the temperature a degree or two in Middle England: Sex and the Shires

Downmarket, sadly, romance does appear to be – if not dead – at least on life support: Boozy flirting at Butlin’s in Skegness – is the best Mills & Boon-flavoured celeb romance break-up story the Sunday Mirror could retell for us – care of Vanessa Feltz and her ex.

Singer Ben Ofoedu, 50, tells for the first time how he had sex three times with a woman he met in Ibiza – one hopes the article doesn’t dwell on how he had sex – it’s a shame Ben and Vanessa split – think of all the sofas this real life mixed race couple might have advertised.

And if that hasn’t cooled your ardour the Daily Star on Sunday finishes the job pouring another bucket-full of cold water: Nudists put on clothes as heating bills rocket… The Fuel Monty

The lefty Sunday People has – more or less – the same unlikely tale of energy cost woe, but bend it for political gain: Cost of living crisis. GP won’t see you now… it is too cold! Hundreds of surgeries cut hours as they can’t afford heating bills

One recalls a likely apocryphal tale of those fairer of the fair sex nursing staff having to employ an unusual medical instrument known simply as the “cold spoon” when faced with the embarrassing situation in the examination room where an undressed male patient became aroused – so to speak.

Slow hand clap for our NHS heroes (to zeroes?)

Yeah…this is the same thing the BBC’s Media Action ‘charity’ does….it trains and enables locals to become activist-journalists…and do journalism from a left-wing perspective. This is what Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe was part of as the BBC trained up Iranians to generate content that would intended to undermine the regime and to stir up anger and protest…the 2009 protests were in large part instigated by the BBC who actuallly boast about their part in that….hence Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe was regarded as a ‘spy’ or someone who was subverting the Iranian state and arrested when she rather foolishly went back to Iran.

‘The Power of TV News: An Insider’s Perspective on the Launch of BBC Persian TV in the Year of the Iranian Uprising’
‘ “Anarchy, total chaos, and everyone watching the BBC.”

“The shooting of Neda Soltan and the killings and beatings that followed changed everything” according to Karim Sadjadpour at the Carnegie Endowment for Peace. “Those picutres were seen by everyone in Iran, mostly on the BBC,, but also on Voice of America or CNN. And make no mistake, the very existence of BBC TV was a critical factor.”’

Boris Johnson was absolutely right…nothing ‘erroneous’ about it…

‘In 2017, when Mr Johnson was foreign secretary in Theresa May’s government, he erroneously said Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe had been training journalists in Iran.

The BBC went for him because it put them in the frame….she was working for the BBC in 2009 and it was that work that eventually got her arrested. The BBC twisted Boris’ words to make it seem that he said she was arrested in 2016 for training journalists at that time…a lie by the BBC…she was arrested for her work in 2009.

The US believes that unidentified objects shot down over North American airspace on Friday and Saturday were balloons, according to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Washington has been on high alert since its military destroyed a suspected Chinese spy balloon last weekend.

While he didn’t say specifically that the latest objects were Chinese, Mr Schumer told ABC on Sunday that Beijing was likely using a “crew of balloons” that had “probably been all over the world”.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed that the latest object was shot down on Saturday over the Yukon in north-west Canada.

Cannot remember the last time I actually watched the BBC – for anything, but judging by the upcoming programmes listed, they are clearly not for the remotely intelligent or academically minded.

    2) Gogglebox “star” Scarlett Moffatt helps struggling learners to pass their tests – Scarlett’s Driving School Monday 8.30 pm BBC1

This is the sort of mindless f…….g drivel the public are paying for on prime time tele. I always maintained that much of the terrestrial output is only fit for the likes of Sun readers – who like the pictures but not the reading. A new low has been reached.

Remember the case of Raheem Bailey who lost a finger in Wales scaling a fence, because according to his mum he was fleeing racial bullying at school?

Police have now dropped their investigations: “Our investigation found that Raheem left the school premises of his own accord, and no other persons were involved in him sustaining the injury to his hand.” Mum’s not happy… there’s a police complaint and legal action against the school forthcoming, and the council are doing an independent review.

It’s a sad story all round, made somewhat lighter for mum who managed to raise £100k via gofundme and the BBC who get to pursue one of their hobbies a bit longer.

The incoherence of this is staggering.
      Either
Wind power goes into the grid and is priced at the going rate. In which case the wind power companies are making massive profits……without a windfall tax you’ll note
      Or
Wind power is used locally and charged relating to costs of production. In which case the featured person should already be paying a relatively low rate and could not therefore save anything unless a massive further subsidy was offered.

All part of the relentlessly disingenuous pro-wind BBC narrative. Not a million miles away from an earlier post above on this thread where the bBBC deliberately misinform by highlighting increases in renewable capacity rather than renewable production (no amount of wind turbines produce electricity if there is no wind).

In other words, the biased BBC up to their usual tricks.

‘A racist show trial that the BBC is more than happy to go along with rather than investigate….no 10 part series, documentary or indepth dissection of the case with Naga Munchetty each week for Officer Chauvin….that’s preserved for Islamic terrorists.’

    The Mail reports…

‘Stark warning Britain may be on brink of becoming a ZOMBIELAND: Experts fear explosion of fentanyl — a drug 50 times stronger than heroin which has ravaged America ‘

Fentanyl….you know…the drug George Floyd used…along with metamphetamines.

I thought I’d look at how the BBC reports on Fentanyl and its effects…

‘Fentanyl is 100 times stronger than morphine and even a tiny quantity can kill. But its low cost has made it a popular recreational drug.

Typical symptoms of a fentanyl overdose include slow and difficult breathing, nausea and vomiting, dizziness and increased blood pressure.

    …respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest….’

Sooo…Fentanyl can make breathing difficult and cause cardiac arrest….erm….Floyd complained loudly of having difficulty breathing and he died from cardiac arrest….but, apparently it was a racist cop that killed him….his knee on his neck cutting off his air, choking him and causing him to, somehow, cry out constantly that he couldn’t breathe.

But check the video and he is constantly saying he couldn’t breath as they tried to get him to sit in the vehicle….no cops on or near his neck.

Basically the cops were hung out to dry as they attempted to deal with a difficult situation that ended unexpectedly badly…there is no evidence that the police were racist or that they even intended this outcome….an outcome determined more by Floyd’s drug intake and his behaviour…..and there is no evidence that the infamous knee was putting any huge pressure on Floyd….it may have been merely placed on Floyd with no or little pressure but ready to apply some if needed….in other words it didn’t cut off his air supply as his constant talking might indicate.

A racist show trial that the BBC is more than happy to go along with rather than investigate….no 10 part series, documentary or indepth issection of the case with Naga Munchetty each week….that’s preserved for Islamic terrorists.
