Hilarious, no on second thoughts tragic, head in the sand BBC.

The BBC report Ford are laying off 1300 workers. They even have a HYS about it. Why?

The BBC also report that the devolved Welsh Labour government have cancelled nearly all their road building programme ‘in order to protect the environment’. But strangely no HYS.

Yet no ability whatever to join the dots.
I might also add that the BBC continually report a lack of growth in the economy.

Could there just possibly be a teeny weeny link between all these stories.

Here’s a clue. Prioritise a politically correct woke absolutist environmental anti-car ideology above all else and watch car demand decline and economic growth go down the pan.
    How hard was that?

So Keir Starmer will reveal his tax returns when he becomes PM. Someone on GB News asks why not before the General Election? Pretty obvious I would say, he’s giving himself time to “tidy up” his financial affairs for the return he will let us see. He’s already run into the next return year so another year will be required for any “cleaning”. I’m not necessarily suggesting he’s evading but there might be sums he’s receiving from people or organisations he won’t want to reveal, maybe offshore stuff or avoidance measures. The return we’ll see will be saintly clean.

    Starmer’s a fake.

Surely putting up the cost of parking in hospital car parks is a good thing as it will deter people from going to hospital hence reducing waiting times in a and E (if not on strike) as well as shortening outpatient lists and freeing up room for ambulances and staff car parking ….

At my local GP their little parking space . So the friendly moped enabled traffic wardens lurk with removal lorries to catch people going to the GP surgery … there is even a helpful warning notice in the waiting room .

Funny how you always remember right at the end edition

Mr AsI envisages the raison d’être to his daily edition to be (in part) the daily debunking of the BBC’s own in-house justification for their raison d’être – as a counter-weight rebalancing a supposedly right-wing press.

Au contraire he says. The formerly patriotic Times is a case in point. That’s not cricket, you may say. Trending liberal of late, the Times has recently decided to go into the field of play to bat for the Labour leader: Back me or leave party, Starmer tells Labour’s left… Leader issues ultimatum to Corbynistas – music to Blairite ears and reassurance for Labour-curious voters yet to properly come out, so to speak.

The Times may be Labour’s surprise twelthman but the Guardian is their top spinner: EHRC says case closed on Labour anti-Jewish racism

And our BBC the fast attack: Equalities watchdog satisfied with Labour antisemitism reforms

It’s not like our press to want to slam the door shut, to close a story, whether there’s new news or no… surely there’s always a new line – a little something they can find to go on?

Nicola: Stained glove found… Cops searching for Nicola Bulley were handed a mystery “stained” glove… in a dramatic twist… (The Sun)

True crime aficionados of the O.J. Simpson trial will recall the mantra: ‘If the glove don’t fit, you must acquit’

    Keep Britain tidy?

It’s funny the things people just leave about: A Banksy artwork that appeared in Margate has been dismantled by the local council hours after the elusive artist claimed the piece as his… The piece – called “Valentine’s day mascara” by Banksy – had also incorporated a broken freezer and other items, which were all later removed… The freezer will return “once it has been made safe”, the council said. (BBC) – your Council Tax spent wisely?

MSPs warn against ‘reckless’ start to deposit return scheme… The Deposit Return Scheme is designed to boost recycling via a 20p deposit on single-use drinks bottles and cans. (BBC) – I can envisage hordes of Rab C. Nesbitt-types scouring the streets of Scotland for discarded Irn-Bru cans

From the formerly thunderer Times to the whimperer Telegraph

The Torygraph makes a limp wet plea for forgiveness for conservatism today – having signed up to Christian holy ceremonies for same-sex couples and called the Church of England gay: The Church of England would barely survive without gay people – so why forbid them to marry? – our Allison Pearson now whimpers: Don’t call us far-Right – we are just talking common sense.

The Telegraph frets that our British army is now a busted flush: Nato and France ‘concerned’ by UK military cuts – parse that report and you’ll realise the concern is that our forces are not playing a big enough role in the interests of some wider european strategy we’ve apparently signed up for.

Read the small print in the Daily Express counter blast and you’ll see our own local border defence is a low priority: UK military ‘completely credible’ to lead Nato forces if Russia attacks ally – I thought they already had?

Try this conundrum – we invaded Iraq for cheap oil – now we’re backing Ukraine against Russia so as make it more expensive?

    It Ain’t Half Hot Mum?

Defence of our own home shores appears to be a very low priority: At the ready. Troops train for battle in British-Omani joint excercise (Daily Mirror) – there we go, mucking about in the desert again, after Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya all went so well.

Closer to home, apparently, our forces are now part social service and part female sports club; with a few bad apples still to be weeded out: NHS strikes: Military train to drive ambulances at London barracks (BBC); Preet Chandi: Guinness confirms woman’s two polar world records… A British Army officer has had two world records she broke in the course of an Antarctic trek confirmed by Guinness. Preet Chandi, known as Polar Preet, has not only surpassed the world record for the longest polar ski expedition by a woman, but also the overall record. (BBC); British Army serviceman appears in court charged with terror offences… Mr Khalife, of Beacon Barracks in Stafford, was remanded in custody until his next court appearance (BBC)

On a lighter note our press titles from across the political divide agree on a fashion trend (no, not what Mr AsI terms pantomime marriage, I mean actual clothes fashion)

Left-leaning ‘i’ newspaper and left-curious Times are in accord: Farewell floral midi dresses… make way for no frills fashion (‘i‘); No florals! The new dress for spring (Times)

The ‘Red Wall’ has sucked up too much attention, voters deserve better. Conservatives and Labour need to attend to the much-maligned urbanites, unhappy shire voters, and forgotten poor of the east and south, too (Yasmin Alibhai-Brown in the ‘i’) – doncha just have to admire the way she gives a nice big up to her very own metropolitan liberal/leftyites… and then just as an afterthought remembers to mention the ‘poor’ – you know, that lot in the food banks, cost of living crisis and all that.

You may recall those TV ads for the chocolate bar Topic (a hazelnut in every bite) “Funny how you always remember right at the end”.

I’m watching the most peculiar speech from Starmer at this moment regarding the antisemitism commission report. He talked about the problem as if he was never part of the Labour Party at the time. He sat shoulder to shoulder with Corbyn. “Nothing to do with me guv” he might as well have said. It reminded me of the defences put forward at the Nurenburg trials

Journalists at the news conference are skirting around his involvement as is Starmer himself who is using his lying lawyer techniques to their full

Starmer’s ‘skill’ for always being at least two or three steps away from any responsibility or blame is what has served him well in the past (hence all the fence-sitting).
It is the typical behaviour of civil servant managerial types.
Being ‘leader’ of the Labour party he now finds it harder to hide behind others.
This has exposed his lack of principles and weak duplicitous nature – at least to all those who care to see.

A few weeks back I watched (on GBNews, I watch no other nowadays), a Labour fellow-travelling goon insisting that since he had been anointed leader, Starmer had been ‘utterly ruthless’ in sorting out the anti-semitism in the party, and in other matters.

To my mind Starmer has only been utterly ruthless in his abandoning everything he has stood on or supported for the last 7 years in the hope he can triumph.

Her resignation speech is full of me, me ,me. At the same time that she’s bragging about her adherence to feminism…she’s brushing aside her lunacy in trying to put a male rapist in a woman’s prison. That’s the utter madness that really did for her.

Scotland has the poorest health in the UK. Drink, drugs, an appalling NHS and the earliest death rate of any GB citizens. What a legacy.

She imprisoned her people, mask wearing was ubiquitous, she closed schools, then had insane plans to remove the bottom of classroom doors in order to aid ventilation. I mean, WTF? Power clearly went to her highly lacquered head. She was a jumped up little dictator; a pocket sized Kim Jock-un.

Of course, the questions have been pretty soft…as you’d expect from our awful media. Soon, one of them, probably The Guardian, will tell us that she was a woman of principle, who achieved great things and left on her own terms.

Sturgeon and her Scottish Nazi Party cronies were interested only in power. Their efforts to hand the vote to anyone likely to prop them up in power has been the hallmark of their existence. They have attempted to portray themselves as magnanimous supporters of any group that would thereby become acolytes for them. Hence the vote for children, championing trans rights you name it. These people they tried to woo they expected to become lifelong SNP clones.

It backfired…. There were never enough left wing 16 year olds or trannies to make much difference.

They also gambled that in their view the Scots should by nature hate the English which would lead to a mass uprising for independence, another misconception and much of the reason behind their vile unwarranted nastiness towards the UK government.

At one stage I used to think of Sturgeon as a would-be queen of Scotland but can now see she was really always much more like a Cromwell.

The dreadful MSM have never questioned the little hags sordid mismanagement and corruption up here. They fawned over her every word. Worse than North Korea.

Is it not reassuring to know that who ends up governing is decided not by policy, but by which sources tell Laura K, Toenails, Beff or Paul Brand what they know they will run with?

Sturgeon’s resignation speech. There was a deaf signing person in attendance, a strange looker. I know not whether lesbian or trannie. She had to keep up the LGBTQ/trannie virtue signalling to the end.

    Slightly less overt here.

Beeboids just get to host conferences and then get hired in curiously predictable places.

        Dear Darren Henry,

Do you know about the following which will have a big impact on the World’s climate and our future planet?

China allows three children in major policy shift
        Published 31 May (BBC)
        – Large population growth China currently has 1.4 billion people at present.

China’s Monster Three Gorges Dam Is About To Slow The Rotation Of The Earth

        – I guess you if you cannot report on a Country then it can do no wrong.

Did you know about the above and if not then what are you opinions on them and their impact on the World?

        Yours sincerely,
        Mr H

You’d think that the majority of the Greenies would turn to a religious following wouldn’t you? Since “HE” (sorry, I’m old fashioned) up there is the only one who can reverse nature……..

She tweeted in June 2020: “I’m so exhausted at these white folx in these PD [professional development] sessions this lady actually had the CAUdacity to say that black people can be racist too … I had to stop the session and give Karen the BUSINESS … we are not the majority, we don’t have power.”

I can forgive the racism, but anyone who says ‘folx’ or ‘caudacity’ should be sacked on the spot and made to do a paper round for the rest of their lives.

Re: Knowsley protests… BBC, Sky and Guardian all note the presence of a “counter protest” but are any of them talking about the role of the Communist Party (Merseyside branch) in this?

Footage shows the police van windows being smashed by skinny boys wearing all black incl. face coverings. Not conclusive evidence of course… just coincidentally the standard uniform of antifa types.

Either way, the MSM won’t let this info get in the way of pursuing their agenda.

The Economist, tarnished bible of the BBC’s music teachers, seems to have missed connecting a few dots in that headline.

Remarkable how respectful the BBC’s coverage of Wee Shugee’s dash for cover is. If it had been Trump, Modi, Oban, Bolsonaro or Boris it would have been a triumphant hurrah that the divisive, controversial, polarising, dangerous, Far-Right, populist, racist, misogynist, transphobic nationalist has gone!
