Midweek 24 May 2023

The taxpayer is now funding BBC VERIFY . BBC VERIFY ‘comprises about 60 journalists who will form a highly specialised operation with a range of forensic investigative skills and open source intelligence (Osint) capabilities at their fingertips.’

But what will the self serving BBC VERIFY verify ? US elections ? Unlikely . Vaccines killing people ?don’t go there . Ukrainian News? Avoid .

VERIFY gives us another tool to evidence the bias of the BBC . Enjoy

Despite fighting a war Ukraine have been busy building a new system of e-government, with development and humanitarian assistance from USAID who are “working to bring other democracies into the digital future”.

All hail the ‘state in a smartphone’. It sounds like it might be part of that build back better thing, but then I am a conspiracy theorist.

Launched in 2020, the Diia app allows Ukrainian citizens to use digital documents in their smartphones instead of physical ones for identification and sharing purposes.[4] The Diia portal allows access to over 50 governmental services.[5] Eventually, the government plans to make all kinds of state-person interactions available through Diia.[6]

The Ministry of Digital Transformation (Ukrainian: Міністерство цифрової трансформації України) is a government ministry in Ukraine that was established on 29 August 2019 when Mykhailo Fedorov was appointed as Minister of Digital Transformation in the Honcharuk Government.[3]

The goals of the ministry by 2024:

      transfer 100% of all public services for citizens and businesses online;

provide 95% of transport infrastructure, settlements and their
      social facilities with access to high-speed Internet;

      to teach 6 million Ukrainians digital skills;

increase the share of IT in the country’s GDP to 10%.

TWatO Watch #1 – immigration and immigrants front and centre

The BBC do seem to be making a point about immigration, ahead of the statistics tomorrow, digging up and getting on air the most American wimmin I have heard on the BBC R4 in a long time. Then of course they bring on Lady Nugee MP, (Lab) well known disliker of English white van men. Poor Andrea Leadsom (who, apparently is now a Dame) could not get an edge in wordways against motor mouth.

That news story is one year old
and seems to be PRasNews for political lobby group Friends of the Earth.

Health impacts from road pollution is difficult to quantify
cos for example on rainy days it’s all washed out of the air.

What counts is pollution entering your lungs
and most of that happens in the home.
Like do people have a log burner, burn rubbish in their garden. smoke a lot of joints, smoke a lot of cigs.
Those activities might well happen in immigrant areas more.

The Welsh boys killed on electric bikes has been masterclass in BBC anti-establishment posturing. Every new update tries to suggest we all point the finger at the cops.

Hour-by-hour updates breathlessly awaiting and expecting the cops to be the villains.

As per usual when it is confirmed that the cops played no part in the accident the story will melt like snow in spring from the BBC website.

Yes, Digg, I smelt a rat immediately when I first heard the story on the 6 pm R4 news on Tuesday. It was the framing that gave it away. It’s got to the stage where I now suspect the BBC of distorting news stories even before I’ve checked anywhere else (e.g. here!) because of how they frame the events.

From the start it was made to be all about whether the police were following / pursuing / chasing the two kids. Without any context of what the two might have been suspected of, this is not helpful. And of course it’s possible that the accident was caused by the kids’ carelessness or excessive speed.

It really would be better to hold back and simply report that there had been rioting after the two died in an accident. David Sedgwick has a lot about such framing in his books “BBC: Brainwashing Britain?”, “The Fake News Factory” and “Is that true or did you hear it on the BBC?”

There’s plenty of verification of the US election results, I’m sure you’re not suggesting it was ‘stolen’, because then you’d look really, really stupid.

“Vaccines killing people ?don’t go there .” – the very rare instances of that have been widely reported. Again, you’re advertising you’re stupidity.

      Great comment ‘Kik’.

How old are you ?. By your comment, I would guess about 16.

And most certainly a regular BBC HYS contributor. They write like spiteful schoolboys there as well.

That ‘Verify’ report on Ukraine is complete and utter propaganda rubbish for idiots. I particularly liked the excuse for not documenting Ukranian defensive positions:

‘Furthermore, the Ukrainians are currently in an attacking position and as such their focus is more on advancing, rather than keeping their current positions.’

Where might that be then ?.

Get ready to watch how they magnificently steer clear of the much-vaunted counter-attack when it doesn’t happen or it fails and much is lost in a Russian counter attack.

They are there for one reason : to try to give some legitimacy to the BBC agenda in all their other articles. I guarantee you will never find a single conclusion which goes against it. Which makes the entire ‘BBC Verify’ outfit completely worthless and confirms beyond doubt the stupidity of those who are unable to see it.

I truly believe Obama stole the US election – it was done so well with so much preparation – including the cover up and the support of the liberal media – dissent was crushed by the feds – fully under democrat control .

I’m sure you are a fan of a dementing old man wh can barely function even with an autocue and an army of minders . If that is your version of leadership – good for you .

If you believe Ukraine can win against Russia without bleeding to death – good for you – and if you think NATO should head towards direct confrontation with Russia – again – good for you –
I’m sure the relatives of those KSI by the vaccines would appreciate your view too .

If you read a lot on this site you’ll appreciate what the BBC is – a propaganda machine which will only handle the ‘ approved ‘view ….

With an IQ of 164, I seem to be immune to felling stupid. The felling stupid PSYOP does not work on me. Especially when you consider these people are stupid low IQ traitorous elitist snobs. ‘Useless Eaters’ because they are paid by the taxpayer, and they dominate the media and political blob. The BBC and the Five Eyes are full of people without critical thinking skills doing their own research. Thick people who see facts and evidence not approved by their boss as a “Conspiracy Theory”.

The Democrat presidential candidate, Bobby Kennedy Jnr and the CHD have filed an antitrust lawsuit against the BBC lead Trusted News Initiative (TNI) for collusively censoring online news, confirmed by the Twitter Files. TNI members have targeted and suppressed completely accurate online reporting by non-mainstream news publishers concerning both COVID-19 (on matters including treatments, immunity, lab leak, vax injury, and lockdowns/mandates) and U.S. elections (such as the Hunter Biden laptop story). Although most Judges were either against Trump or to fearful of the FBI to consider the evidence of voter fraud, the FBI seems to have gone to far as we see with FBI whistleblowers talking to Congress, developments at Fox News, what the FBI said to Zuckerberg and the Durham Report. This has weakened the FBI and two courts in Maricopa County, Antrim County, Michigan. Are now actually looking at the evidence and have ordered the cases to be heard. Pressure is now on 86 other judges around the United States to now look at the massive amount of election fraud from the 2016 election.

Censorship and Propaganda by the mainstream Press, BBC, TNI & OFCOM: The censorship of the Pfizer documents and almost half a million yellow card reports of adverse effects following administration of the Biotech Pfizer mRNA vaccine in the UK.

Censorship of Ukrainian News as BBC Journalists do not visit the front line because its not a “Safe Space”

This is replaced by Orwellian propaganda, Psychological operations (PSYOP) to convey selected information and indicators to audiences to influence their motives, and objective reasoning using simple idiotic language such as “Climate Denier” for a scientist who says Greta is wrong, “Conspiracy Theory” for facts found on Google Scholar, “Misinformation” for true and accurate information censored by the BBC, “Disinformation” for information found on Google Scholar that causes damage to the BBC, corrupt organisations and politicians, “Malinformation” for information that is true, but is exaggerated or omitted in a way that misleads the BBC viewer, and “anti-vaxxer” for those who refused the mRNA Jab because of ‘Informed Consent’ which meant that they found out that it was not a “REAL Edward Jenner type VACCINE”, or those half million injured by the mRNA Jab.

Harrabin, never the sharpest knife in the drawer at the best of times, needs to be very careful with the “silent majority in favour” argument.

Suppose there was a (not so silent) majority in favour of leaving the EU, as we saw in 2016? Or a silent majority for restoring capital punishment? Or for controlling the suicidally stupid levels of immigration into Britain?

For an elitist like Harrabin, a concept such as the silent majority will be invoked only when it suits him; otherwise it will have to be discarded.

“I saw first hand how hyper-sensitive Whitehall staff looked for offence in everything

Indeed, the game was given away by the accusers’ use of the term ‘bullying’ against her. In much of Whitehall and quangoland, this has become the default claim of disgruntled staff who want to discredit their boss or pursue their own agenda.

Thanks to their obsession with workplace rights and identity politics, many public bodies are particularly susceptible to such internal attacks – nowhere is that more true than at the Equality and Human Rights Commission where I worked as chief operating officer (COO) between 2012 and 2015. In that post, I saw at first-hand how dysfunctional and inward-looking the organisation could be.

Precisely because of its mission to champion the marginalised, it appeared to attract hyper-sensitive recruits who were often well-versed in the minutiae of procedure and constantly on the lookout for any perceived slights against themselves.

I was working at the Home Office when I was head-hunted for the COO position. A colleague warned me that the job was ‘one of the worst’ in Whitehall due to its discontented workforce and the chasm between its lofty ambition to build a country free of prejudice and the mundane reality of its sclerotic, introspective bureaucracy.

at times it was hard enough to get staff to carry out the most basic administrative orders, let alone change the world.

This rebellious streak is evident in the current row, with certain employees clearly of the view that they have the right to resist policies they dislike.”

Meet our brilliant new young crop of female war correspondents edition

You’ll have noticed perhaps a certain confusion – and dare one say obfuscation – when one reads our mainstream media on the subject of whether or not the city of Bakhmut has fallen to the Russians and whether it really matters.

Confusion as Ukraine’s Zelenskyy appears to confirm loss of Bakhmut (USA Today News)

Ukraine says its troops are still advancing on devastated city of Bakhmut (Sky News)

Ukraine and Russia trade places in battle for Bakhmut (Aljazeera)

Russia does not occupy Bakhmut, defiant Zelensky tells G7 (BBC)

One for the BBC’s bright young thing Marianna Spring, head girl, prefect-in-chief and top of the form fronting up and absolutely abreast the BBC’s efforts fact checking-wise surely?

Nope? We may as well ask bog-standard comprehensive drop out (due to multiple phamtom pregnancies) benefits princess and shell suit model Vicky Pollard (as played by comic Matt Lucas) – so, Vicky, is Bakhmut still under Ukrainian control as Zelensky assured the G7?

Inevitably: “Yeah but no but yeah but…”

Zelenskyy says ‘Bakhmut is only in our hearts’ after Russia claims control of Ukrainian city (ABC News)

We take it our friend Zelensky was being somewhat optimistic when his bold (yet fibbing) statement was allowed to slip past BBC fact checkers. But does it matter?

Not so much the BBC telling us the truth but the fall of Bakhmut, I mean.

The symbolic importance of the small city in Ukraine’s east now far outweighs any strategic value for either side. (Aljazeera)

Ukraine war: The battle of Bakhmut is not about seizing vital ground – it is about maximising enemy casualties (Sky News)

Battle for Bakhmut Is Critical Test of Russia’s Prospects in Ukraine (Wall Street Journal)

Holding Bakhmut is a ‘military necessity’ – Ukrainian general (Reuters)

Ukraine is reinforcing Bakhmut with its elite troops as Russian forces make advances, UK defense ministry says (Yahoo News)

So does it matter that the city has now fallen to the Russians? In lieu of asking our fact-checker swot top of her class Marianna – being so busy wracking her brain hard fronting up on other matters there at the BBC’s massive new fact checking school – we asked comedienne Catherine Tate’s sassy – critics might say chavvy – schoolgirl character Lauren Cooper how this apparent defeat will impact on Nato’s proxy war ally?

“Am I bovvered?”, “Do I look bovvered? Look at my face, does it look bovvered? Are you disrespecting me?”

Cardiff riot: Ely crash death boys were followed by police
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-65700552

The BBC are so far up their own backsides in their desperation to blame the police, they seem to have completely lost the plot.

Just what is the problem here ?.

When they crashed, the police were nowhere near. However the BBC are quick to point out:

‘But the only reason they weren’t there is because they knew they couldn’t follow the boys any further because the road was blocked.’

In what way is that relevant ?.

And the police were nowhere near them even before the crash – as the latest video shows. The one the BBC showed us earlier where the police were just behind is from earlier. Before the crash, they were a long way behind and completely out of site for the boys. Fake news again BBC.

They were following two youths illegally riding a motorbike on the public road. What is wrong with the police following them ?. What if these reckless kids killed someone else while they were doing it ?.

What is the BBC’s point here ?. That police should not try to stop 15 year olds illegally riding morobikes on public roads without crash helmets, no insurance etc ?.

How many others will be out riding bikes if that was the rule ?.

This story is absolutely bizarre and shows just how totally off the rails the BBC have gone.

The disruption to the amenity of this country on the way to its complete transformation and destruction is now plain to see. Even a fool must see the trajectory. All, clearly, with the approval and assent of the current red Government and the alternative red Government in waiting.

I say, ‘Well done’ to the Marxist/Communists behind the transformation. I’ll bet that they cannot believe their luck in not finding any resistance. In other contexts, ‘win a war without firing a shot’.

I was wondering whether any of the recent blue labour PMs could have done anything to make over a civil service to do what government ministers wanted it to do .

Let’s face it though – did any of them believe in anything enough to fight for it ? After all we got a brexit vote by ‘mistake ‘ .I bet the rear guard action in Whitehall to prevent a vote must have been bitter . I thought it would be fixed for ‘remain ‘ – but our system was probably too primitive to do it .

I suppose nut nut came closest by trying to bring in Cummings . But cummings – as a clear and obvious danger to the civil service led to the inevitable – the way so many others have been ‘done ‘….

I do wonder if any of their victims will really take the lid off and tell us what happened .

Will the civil service change when the red labour regime comes in ? I suppose it depends on whether policies are ‘approved’ or not .

I repeat my view about the woke far lefties having expectations of a starmer government far above what can really be delivered – particularly since the economy will be even more trashed than it already is .

However it’s going to take a very long time for the blue labour brand to relaunch itself . I find it hard to foresee a Right Wing government in our times – as the msm runs the Far Left agenda – see the BBC …. Which now has a free run over social changes in the UK leading to sharp rises in mental illness – self harm – suicide …. ( over 5000 a year ?)

Certainly Blighty is being dismantled both by design and incompetence . Any blue labour MP campaigning for a seat in a year or so should just have the number 606 000 thrown at them before being kicked out .

I strongly suspect the numbers will be fixed to be under 500 000 next year although in real life they’ll be way up .

I can’t remember the exact words but this Orwellian nightmare is becoming a reality.

This morning the BBC are giving prominence to a story about the unfairness of childcare.

Get this. Quote ‘Help with childcare costs for working parents, announced in the Budget, is “unfairly targeted” towards higher-income families, a report by Coram and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation says.
The charities say the plans, in England, risk widening the gap between disadvantaged children and their peers.
….. the report says children whose parents do not work will be left behind, “storing up problems for later in the education system”’.

Yes, if you contribute nothing they want you to receive even more benefits. And ‘higher income’ seems to apply to any families that have the temerity to work for a living, who by implication become rich and undeserving.

Idleness is industry. Orwell missed that one.
But looks like the BBC didn’t.

‘Mbondiya’ is a surname usually found in Zimbabwe (real name Rhodesia Yaxley-Lennon) and quite distinct from the popular Irish surname of O’Mbondiya. Apolonia Mbondiya could possibly be this person, described as a ‘social worker’, which could explain her cliched comments about waycism, slavery and wimmin.

Slaves were owned in all Islamic societies, both sedentary and nomadic, ranging from Arabia in the centre to North Africa in the west and to what is now Pakistan and Indonesia in the east. Some Islamic states, such as the Ottoman Empire, the Crimean Khanate, and the Sokoto caliphate [Nigeria], must be termed slave societies because slaves there were very important numerically as well as a focus of the polities’ energies.

Once upon a time, there was a boy with a dozen juicy oranges and a girl with a dozen, withered, sour crabapples. The girl said to the boy “Can I have a couple of those oranges?”. The boy said “No, because I will have less fruit”. The girl replied, “Well, I’ll give you a couple of my crabapples in exchange, so you will still have the same amount of fruit”. Now, the boy did not like crabapples, but he’d been brought up not to be unkind or upset people, so he reluctantly agreed and they swapped a couple of fruits. After a minute, the girl said “Why don’t we swap some more? Maybe another four of your oranges for four of my crabapples. After all, you’ll still have the same number of fruits.” The boy didn’t want to, but he couldn’t think how to say no, so he agreed. No sooner had he done so than the girl immediately said “I want all the oranges, give me the final six! And I will give you six crabapples in return, so you will still have a dozen fruits and there’s no net loss to you”. The boy said “No”, at which point the girl said “If you don’t agree, I will start screaming and tell everyone you were nasty to me”. Well, the boy didn’t want that, so he swapped the final oranges for the unwanted crabapples. The girl, laughing at his stupidity, skipped away. The boy, pondering what had happened, tried to convince himself that he still had the same amount of fruit and it was just as good. But in his heart he knew it wasn’t – he had been cruelly tricked and wished he hadn’t been so pliable and foolish.

And the moral of the story is: the term ‘Net Migration’ is a con and lacks any legitimacy. Migration is not just about quantity, it’s also about quality. If, say, a couple of 100,000 traditional, hard working and self-sufficient British people are forced to leave the country year, and they are replaced by an equal number of uneducated Third Worlders who go straight on benefit, then it’s not a like-for-like replacement. Do this year-in, year-out, unending and at an ever expanding rate and eventually you no longer have ‘Britain’. And do not accept the nonsense about ‘race’, it’s not about that it’s about the culture, tradition and values that define the country, which derive from the people who live here.
