Can you imagine the ‘thought process ‘ within the sunak team which gone from calling a general election to now being in a position where he may be the first British PM to lose his own seat ?
A poll carried by the DT suggests a wipe out – down to 53 MPs . This is disappointing to me because I’ve put 50p on less that 50…. Here’s hoping

Relevance – bet the BBC never discuss how immigrants are vetted for jobs here, especially in sensitive sectors like the care and health industry. So how are Abdul and Ahmed going to be properly checked like we have to be? How many have the same name, and no fixed address to trace records, not to mention any history from abroad. Some industries here require a fingerprint check if you’ve lived abroad…do you think they’re ever asked for that?
Clearly the NHS don’t have the time or resources to properly check their staff CVs, and of course it would be racist to do so.

      Berlin, Germany 2016
      Arrested German spy was a onetime gay porn actor — and a secret Islamist {washingtonpost nov2016}
“BERLIN — Two weeks ago, German intelligence agents noticed an unusual user in a chat room known as a digital hideout for Islamic militants. The man claimed to be one of them — and said he was a German spy. He was offering to help Islamists infiltrate his agency’s (In April 2016, the man began working for the BfV, assigned to monitoring potentially violent Islamists in Germany.) defenses to stage a strike.

Agents lured him into a private chat, and he gave away so many details about the spy agency — and his own directives within it to thwart Islamists — that they quickly identified him, arresting the 51-year-old the next day. Only then would the extent of his double life become clear.

I listened to John Swinney, the SNP leader’s election speech today. What a revolting and divisive person he is. The main thrust of his address throughout was to push Scottish independence. His speech was an election speech but he obviously doesn’t believe in elections because there was a referendum on Scottish independence which the SNP lost. Other than that his speech was the usual socialist clap trap, basically, spend more of our money on all aspects of the Scottish public sector. This included the Scottish NHS which spends more per person than the English NHS for poorer outcomes. A constant theme, mentioned many times, was attacks on “Westminster” which to me is code for the English. Of course he had a go at Brexit which they hadn’t voted for and England did, another election remember. He wants Scotland to rejoin the EU presumably to be under their jackboot rather than the English one.
Swinney represents the worst of Scottish politics.

She unwittingly shows us her typical hard-left fascist nature with that statement.

All Farage did was let the people decide. The Left don’t like that at all. They think they are intellectually superior and should decide for everybody else. Like Hitler did.

Which makes me laugh because as a rule, these people can’t even check the oil in their car. Their perfect world only exists in their own head. If they get a chance to make it reality, it utterly fails.

China changed village names ‘to erase Uyghur culture’
    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cxrrkl6ve39o

‘China has changed the names of hundreds of villages in Xinjiang region in a move aimed at erasing Uyghur Muslim culture, Human Rights Watch (HRW) says.’
What an utterly ridiculous claim which the BBC see fit to repeat multiple times in this article.
According to Human Rights Watch – who are as far Left as the UN and are similarly totally selective about who’s ‘rights’ they defend – changing 630 village names out of 25,000 to remove some specific religious Muslim references is attempting to ‘erase Muslim culture’ !!.
Why ? – is that all their culture is ?.

Well done China : protect yourselves against Muslim attempts to gradually displace you. All it will lead to is them eventually trying to change those places to Muslim-only and ruled by Islam.

I’ve come across HRW a few times now they are are ALWAYS pushing the far-Left agenda. They NEVER start shouting about abuses of anyone not on the Left’s ‘approved victims’ list.

What a truly pathetic, 100% agenda article by the BBC.

No articles on how the Muslims themselves treat others for us BBC ?. No ‘disgust’ at their mysogyny for us ?. Or their homophobia ?. Or how Hamas are deliberately causing the slaughter of women and children ?.

“Terrorism” is of two kinds: terrorism that is evil based upon wicked tyrannical acts, and terrorism that is good and desired based on necessary and justified acts. The terrorism that is evil is injustice, double standards, tyranny, and aggression, in all the hateful connotations that these words imply. It targets women and children, civilians and noncombatants, trying to force defeat and difficult political decisions by spreading terror. This kind is what most people immediately think about when hearing the word terrorism.

The terrorism that is desired and based on necessary and justified acts is enforcing the rule of just laws, providing fair punishments commensurate to the crimes committed, and preparing and defending against attacks, aggression, and corruption. It is used against the criminal evildoers themselves, and never targets women, children and noncombatants.

Are you looking forward to the Paris Olympics – coming hot on the heels of the football Euro 2024s? Do you still avidly follow your native country’s exploits in international sport? Do you say “yah boo sucks” to the likes of that scornful Emily Thornberry and still wave your national flag in support of our boys and girls?

    The cricket test

The US is the surprise team of the T20 World Cup after beating 2022 finalists Pakistan and narrowly losing to titans India. Its efforts secured a place in the final eight of the tournament, for which the team qualified as co-hosts with the West Indies. Dubbed the ‘H1-B squad’ after the US visa scheme, the team hails largely from India, Pakistan and the Caribbean, places where many had early cricket careers before being lured to economic opportunities in the US (Financial Times)

    Go USA!

They do say limited over cricket is just souped-up rounders – which is basically baseball.

Of course you may have noticed how the Scots soccer team isn’t particularly… what’s the word…? Diverse. There’s still many a Mc, a Gordon and a Robertson in the squad. Dare one say it’s still a tad too… “Why-hhhhtttt!” [TM Humza Yousaf]

Euro 2024… Scots give themselves a fighting chance (‘i’); Scotland the brave… McTominay keeps Scottish Euro hopes alive (Telegraph); Scotland wrestled free from the shackles of injury and self destruction to muster a precious point against Switzerland to keep their Euro 2024 campaign alive (BBC) – perhaps there’s a metaphor in there somewhere

With reference to the fun we have with flags these days and speaking of Scots football fans – sometimes these segueways write themselves

Rod Stewart defends support for Ukraine after jeers (BBC) – oh dear, do the crowd perhaps… think it’s all over? To coin a phrase.

Ukraine could face defeat in 2024. Here’s how that might look (BBC, April 2024, Frank Gardner, security correspondent)

I Don’t Want to Talk About It

Sir Rod Stewart has defended his support of Ukraine, after he was apparently booed at a concert in Germany on Friday night… the Ukrainian flag appeared on a video screen, followed by an image of President Volodymyr Zelensky… Both applause and jeers could be heard from fans… “I have supported the Ukrainian people throughout this war,” he told PA news agency (BBC)

Well at least Rod’s been consistent then. The Rishi lackey loyalist Daily Express proudly raised the old yellow and blue on their masthead with the slogan ‘United with the people of Ukraine’ for a few heady months – then dropped it like a hot brick.

Are ordinary europeans getting a bit war weary? Or can we blame their apparent desire for a ceasefire on the eastern front on other causes?

Something rotten in the state of Saxony?

Sir Rod was performing… in Leipzig, the most populous city in Germany’s central state of Saxony. The state has embraced nationalism, electing a mayor from the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) in December. There has also been neo-Nazi violence and attacks on migrants in Saxony. (Tiffany Wertheimer, BBC News, reporting from London)

Can we get a Russia conspiracy theory to go with that far-right aspersion and dark reference to the mid-twentieth century Germans – for a full-house, right royal flush, BBC?

German far-right MP ‘could be absolutely controlled by Russia’ (By Gabriel Gatehouse BBC Newsnight, April 2019)

Mr AsI contends that the formerly serious Times of London newspaper has gone all limp and lefty.

He habitually accuses the title of being a Keir Starmer bromancer.

Let’s compare and contrast how the Times treats the big new Just Stop Oil contrived frontpage photo op.

    Offence archaeology

Monumental stupidy – huffs the Daily Mail: Two Just Stop Oil climate protesters spray orange paint powder at Stonehenge yesterday… Is nothing sacred to the eco clowns?

Just lock them up! – exclaims the Express: Pathetic eco-zealots should “face the full force of the law” after Stonehenge was attacked in what Rishi Sunak deplored as “disgraceful act of vandalism” – perhaps Rishi ought to have gotten around to just stopping Just Stop Oil at some point prior to his becoming the lame duck?

And the Times: Paint misbehaving – just me or is that putting it rather mildly? Not for our liberal Times the righteous conservative outrage of the Mail or the Express.

I’ve just seen the film of those middle-class yobs from Just Stop Oil, vandalising Stonehenge. The most striking thing was the action taken (or lack of) by the security people. Virtually sweet FA…

A couple of Japanese tourists did get stuck in…all honour to them…and about a minute later some chubby security woman came slowly lumbering over. Far too little and far too late…

Stonehenge is a genuine national treasure and once upon a time we were all allowed to wander among these ancient monuments.

My dad took me there during the summer of 1977. I have photos of us actually touching the stones and I remember standing between two of these massive chunks and my dad saying, “Oi, Jeff be careful. I don’t want you getting your ‘ead stuck.”

Even in those days the daft, self-righteous middle-classes were desecrating these places with sprayed on CND symbols…it’s directly because of them that we ‘re not allowed such access today. These Just Stop Oil oiks are their grandchildren. They’re well fed, well heeled, know all…know nothings…

Today is the summer solstice. I’m not sure if it’s true, but legend has it that sacrifices were once made by this monument on this very day to appease the sun god.

Are you thinking what I’m thinking?

    Biased BBC energy update.
Readers were quite probably asleep when early this morning on Toady a chap from interviewed from something like the Energy Institute. Well, it was early. And he won’t be on again.

Here’s the thing. He reported that global energy output reached an all time high last year. Fossil fuels INCREASED by 1.5% thanks to coal and oil in India and China.

Which makes the eco-fanatics and the slavish adherence to the green agenda of all the parties except Reform look as utterly utterly insane as we know it to be.

I ‘m not expecting Justin Rowlatt to take this line.

Hiomicide figures may also be affected where tribal supporters come into conflict as if it really matters …

Thank you for the donation, Reform gets my vote

How is it in the bbc world, that a Muslim can say “says mass immigration is straining public services” and this is acceptable.

But if White & British – this would be racist!

Towards the bottom of the page/link:-

Are you ready for the general election on 4 July?
New laws mean voters need to bring photo ID when voting in person. Which of the following are included in the 22 acceptable forms of voter ID?

Out of the 3 possible answers the bbc gives, the Student Card is wrong – obviously the bbc wouldn’t want any students from being able to vote

BBC News Climate and Science —

“Human-induced climate change made recent extreme heat in the US southwest, Mexico and Central America around 35 times more likely, scientists say […] such a heatwave was now four times more likely than it was in 2000, driven by planet-warming emissions.”

Once again the BBC go to the World Weather Attribution group for their report. Dig into WWA’s methodology and comments on their own modelling:

“… we would like to check whether the extremes are caused by the same meteorological mechanisms as in reality. This can involve checking a large number of processes, making it difficult in practice […] Quantitative meteorological checks are still under development (Vautard et al. 2018). It is therefore still possible that the climate models we use generate the right extreme statistics for the wrong reasons.”

When BBC journalists use ‘scientists say’, they often don’t know or don’t care about the difference between observational data and modelling output, and what this means beyond the tabloid headlines.

I’ve got a son the same age, who also went off for a first holiday alone with friends to Tenerife this year. My son had a great time and came back, sunburnt, but alive and well. I hope this lad does too.

My thought, and I hope it’s not true, is that he went off with some ‘people he met at a festival’ took some drugs and/or drank too much, and then wandered off, lost, into the night in the early hours and slipped off the road and/or got hit by a car, and ended up in either a ravine, or the sea.

Having visited Tenerife several times, I recall the area they say he was lost in (Teno Parque) is famous for its high cliffs, many of which fall away directly into the sea, and have spectacular views. The roads there are narrow, and twisty, and usually have a steep drop off on one side. They are quite scary to drive along (let alone walk!), partly because the locals drive like maniacs and don’t pay much attention to which side of the road they’re on. It’s not somewhere you’d want to go walking on your own in the dark, and/or under the influence.

Playa de las Americas is the beach resort where all the chavs go. It’s the kind of place where if you go for a stroll along the beach after dark you’re likely to stumble over naked bodies, passed out in pools of vomit – you need to step carefully to avoid the human faeces and broken glass.

I’m confused as to why he should have gone to Teno Parque, it doesn’t seem like somewhere a lad like him, or a bunch of teens at a ‘festival’ would want to go, late at night and in the dark? It just doesn’t make any sense.

Apparently, according to media, he made friends with two lads from Luton, who were renting an apartment in the mountains, in the village of Masca.
Went back to theirs for drinks.

I’ve visited southern Tenerife, El Medano, long time ago , no way are out of town roads walkable.
To call it a 10 hour walk from the mountains is ridiculous.

As usual the media is only giving us half the story, or just too dumb to ask real questions.
