I intend to use parliamentary privilege in the chamber to name a number of the worst perpetrators/officials who we believe have escaped justice.
We will then use private prosecutions to pursue those individuals through the courts, and eventually put them in prison.
These are incredibly dangerous scumbags. It is an national network of organised crime – it is not simply disparate gangs. This is a comprehensive criminal network that is capable of the most evil acts.
I will be informing the police, parliamentary security and the Home Office beforehand of who I intend to name and why – I also now have private security for the first time in my life.
But do not underestimate the danger of these networks. It is organised crime of the very worst kind.”

The recent inquiries into the Mandelson scandal apparently exonerates Starmer. He wasn’t told, we are told. Officially not perhaps, the legal man, although a dullard, knows enough to keep things off the record. I think it lacks credibility that he didn’t know.
He probably isn’t told a lot of things and has to guess or go and find out like other normal people?

“The Attorney General, Lord Hermer, has been accused of seeking excessive fees to take part in a “witch hunt”, external investigating false allegations of war crimes by British soldiers, according to the Daily Telegraph. The paper says Lord Hermer sought to charge £450 an hour to his clients, who were later found to have been Iraqi insurgents. A spokesperson for Lord Hermer said any suggestion he had knowingly acted on false claims was “categorically untrue”.”
