    I remember when Starmer became leader. I told my brother”heres another I won’t be voting for” – wooden didn’t begin to describe him – dead behind the eyes with no personality. My brother and I reached the political fork in the road during Corbins time, but I still went to see him inaugurated as Mayor of Stevenage. What could I do? he’s my little brother 😆 🤣

    I feel Starmer doesn’t care about being loved or hated one little bit; he’s just doing it for the money, like a bailif evicting someone.
    He’s clients here? some globalists and the indigenous population the ones being evicted or slowly replaced.

    He’ll fight to stay as long as he can, then hand the baton to his replacement, retire and quickly become much more wealthy somehow.
    Maybe they’ve tightened the ratchet too fast this time, so Burnham might loosen things here and there for a while, before continuing.

    The BBC Fabricated Trump’s Words. Starmer Wants It Boosted For Fighting Disinformation.
    This week, the same government that announced it would ban under-16s from most social media platforms confirmed a second policy. Force Facebook, YouTube and every major platform to algorithmically boost content from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
    The stated reason is fighting disinformation. The timing makes that justification impossible to take at face value.
    The BBC spliced together two separate parts of a Donald Trump speech, delivered an hour apart, to make it appear he had directly told his supporters to march on the Capitol and fight, while cutting the part where he told them to protest peacefully. This was not sloppy editing. It was a constructed sequence designed to produce a false impression of what was said. Trump is now suing the BBC for ten billion dollars. The corporation’s own internal memo, leaked to the Telegraph last autumn, documented the edit alongside a pattern of other failures. Extensive uncritical airtime given to Hamas on BBC Arabic. A rogue unit of activist reporters censoring coverage of the trans debate to fit a predetermined narrative. A report calling car insurers racist that was found to be, in the BBC’s own words, thoroughly wrong. This week it emerged the corporation sacked a presenter for criticising its Gaza coverage while taking no action against reporters who appeared to celebrate the October 7th attacks.
    This is the organisation that Starmer wants boosted in the name of trusted information. Not a minor broadcaster with an isolated error. An institution funded by £3.7 billion a year in compulsory licence fees, facing a billion dollar lawsuit for fabricating a world leader’s words, accused of one sided reporting on the most contested conflicts of our time, and now positioned by law to be placed ahead of every independent voice on every major platform in the country.
    Put this alongside the under-16s ban and the pattern stops looking like coincidence. One policy restricts what young people can access. The other restructures what everyone sees first, adults included, engineering visibility in favour of the state broadcaster and against the independent platforms where this
    government’s record, on Belfast, on Makerfield, on the asylum backlog and on every other documented failure, gets challenged daily by people it cannot easily silence. Bluesky escaped the social media ban despite its own documented child safety failures. The BBC gets promoted despite a documented record of
    fabrication. Both decisions share the same logic. Visibility for institutions the government finds comfortable. Restriction for the platforms where it does not.

    Lord Young of Acton, the human rights lawyer who founded the Free Speech Union, put it with the right amount of contempt. The Prime Minister has apparently decided that censoring social media should be his legacy, which is strange territory for a former human rights lawyer to choose. It is strange only if you assume the goal was ever free expression rather than managed expression. Nothing in this government’s conduct this month supports that assumption.
    A government that needs to legislate prominence for its preferred broadcaster is not protecting the public from disinformation. It is admitting that its preferred broadcaster cannot earn that prominence on the evidence of its own reporting, and has decided to mandate by law what trust no longer provides voluntarily. That is not journalism policy. It is state media privilege written into platform regulation, arriving in the same fortnight as a ban on what sixteen year olds may read, from a government that is rapidly running out of ways to disguise what it is actually doing.

    On the basis that the establishment’s narrative is that the UK has a debt of an unknown amount to unknown persons for the slave trade, how long will it be before we have to pay reparations to Germany for engaging in the second world war (oh and at the same time you could take Churchill off the one bank note that has so little value, that the changes are unlikely to prevent any fraud)

    Article in The Guardian re the alleged bombing of an Iranian school with lots of children killed.

    In the article they run a piece of video showing the interior of a school classroom with lines of desks. On the left hand side of the scene the desks and benches can be seen to be pristine clean, as the camera pans right the right hand row of desks have large pieces of what looks like shattered concrete lying on the desks in a very orderly fashion. However the surrounding walls are intact and clean so where could this mystery concrete debris have come from? The ceiling is unlikely to be constructed with 3 inch thick concrete, more usually thin plaster, and surely an explosion displacing concrete would surely scatter some timber, roof joists etc? There is no evidence in the video of any debris other that the suspicious chunks of concrete..

    To me, it looks as if it has been carefully placed to fit the narrative. The desks and benches in the room, including the ones with debris are also shown in perfect rows despite being pretty flimsy looking, a large violent explosion would have scattered them across the room.

    I would deduce that the video has been faked by Iranian actors to implicate and smear the US and I wonder why the investigative powers of the Guardian journalists or their agents involved fail to notice any of this?

    I’m 50/50. Everything points to him going tomorrow. It’s his last chance to salvage any perception of doing the honourable thing at all.

    But that means nothing to this creature. I still think he might stay on and fight to stay. He is utterly deluded. It will mean the end of all his EU trips and ‘coalition of the willing’ meetings and they are what he lives for.

    Plus there is a good chance he will employ a scorched earth policy on his way out and sabotage everything he can for Bodybags.

    This week is going to be a cracker. Please hold on Two-Tier. I don’t want it to end quickly. I want to see you humiliate yourself thoroughly before you disappear in disgrace.

    The bBC is pre-occupied with the importance of equality yet they are strangely silent now that the Labour Party are lining up another white male leader. Of course the bBC understand the Labour Party, they are one and the same, and they get a free pass. Reform are not so lucky, apparently they are anti-female. The Conservatives; well the bBC cannot comment because it is an off-topic subject, because we know that Conservatives are both racist and sexist.     In light of your possible resignation I would like to point out a non-comprehensive legacy list showing only a few of your achievements.

    1. ‘Smashing the gangs’.
    2. The over-taxing of businesses
    3. Trying to give away the Chagos Islands and making the tax- payer pay for it.
    4. Ignoring the grooming gangs, and doing nothing for the victims.
    5. Ignoring the genuine concerns of much of the electorate and pushing a ‘far-right’ label on anyone who would raise concerns relating to unchecked and illegal immigration.
    6. Not answering any questions during prime ministers QT in house of commons.
    7. Souring the UK – US relationship.
    8. Attack on pensioners, veterans, farmers………….. etc.
    9. Pushing to give 16 year olds the vote.
    10. Backing Net-Zero despite the the economic destruction of Industries and many businesses, and the loss of future job prospectives for young people.

    I assume you will be looking for a role in the EU relating to EU and International Law. On the ‘Kinnock’ Gravy Train. Hopefully Lord Ali will be giving you and the Mrs some leaving presents (maybe more new glasses for you and more knickers for the Mrs).

    When people mention that Burnham got a huge vote in Makerfield they don’t seem to come out with one big statistic.
    They say it’s a vote to get rid of TTK but I think that’s only part of it.

    The greens got 308 votes and the libdems also got an unreaslistic low vote of 163 which looks like tactical voting to me.
    The Labour vote plus the greens and the libdems beat Reform but if it wasn’t for this tactical voting to keep Reform out maybe the 35% votes would have been enough.
    If the greens and libdems (national poll of polls have them at 15% and 13%) had their 2 x 10%+ votes Reform probably would have won.
    And that’s not taking Restore 6.8% into consideration.

    Has anyone on here heard any commentator mentioning the tiny green/libdem vote and said they moved to Labour for this by election.
    They only seem to be saying it was to get rid of TTK.

    (1) Sir Keir Starmer wants social media to support trusted media like the BBC. I’m not sure which is funnier the BBC being called trusted or Starmer being called Sir.
